I chose this hotel in part because of 24 hr check in and I knew I would have a late arrival. I arrived at 12:05 AM, nobody was at the front desk, and I saw a sign that said \"be back in 30 min\". I was yelling for someone and also called the front desk only to hear it ring. 20 minutes later the front desk person walks in with food. I told the front desk person I was not happy having to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes. She then told me I don't have to be a d**k about it and said my reservation was canceled. I said I am not leaving until she gives me a receipt with a zero balance since I paid and made reservation online. She then threatened to call the cops, I said please do because I am not leaving until I get my zeroed out receipt. She then gave me the receipt as I checked into another hotel down the road. Horrible staff and horrible experience!!! If you advertise 24 hr front desk, they should be taking food with them to work and not leaving the front desk empty with a sign while they go out to get food.

Room not taken care off/ bathroom not cleaned well around commode/ Towels/ shower head only partially work on only one setting out of 5 / Crack along wall just above wall set tub and peeling paint. Large bugs found in room at night crawling on the ceiling 3 nights . I took one to the front desk rude housekeeper said that they were a stink bug. We are not from the state we do not know of that type. Room and Hallway and Stairs smell. This place is Sub Par we would have never stayed at this Super 8 which does not uphold the standards or customer service of a Wyndham Hotel . Parents Weekend for Washington and Lee was more important to us due to hotels all Being sold out for that weekend. We will not be in this situation next year and Never stay at another Wyndham Hotel ran by Wyndham or under their Brand name since they never check to make sure they are upholding the Standards!

The staff was very nice and the room was relatively clean for it's age. There was a stink bug problem at the property - this is VERY COMMON for the area this time of year (I know as I am there a lot) - but not one inside our room and they were actively working on eliiminating them from the property. Breakfast is light - muffins, yogurt, juice - but the coffee was available all day and very nice. I would stay there again while visiting W&L.

Paid and Reserved 2 Non-Smoking rooms, they gave it to other guests before we checked in. holes in the carpet, light switches didn't work, the room stanched because of trying to cover up cigarette smoke, the breakfast served was not prepared to proper temp to rid of bacteria. I would not stay here unless you are having a party, you could not destroy this hotel any more than what we received

Be forewarned, there is NO elevator or ADA accessibility.
Room smelled moldy. Cigarette and marijuana smoke billowed into our room from the wall vents… to the point I thought there was a new pope. I was charged twice! So, be sure to check your accounts.
Manager had trouble understanding my issues when I brought it to his attention. This is a hotel built on the needs of the desperate.

Parking could have been safer.
The t.v. didn't work. The tub was dirty, the shower head would come out of the wall while re-aiming the spray, and the tub overflow wasn't on straight. We got a smoke free room, but you could smell the smoke.

This is one of the best Super 8 we have ever stayed at. Super clean and well kept. We would stay here again. Everything in the room was perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful. Road out front is a little noisy. My only advice is dont eat at the Waffle House behind the motel, its gross.

Bed did not get made after the first night stay. The shower sounds like the floor under it is rotten as it made a lot of noise while showering. The front desk staff was literally laying in the chair with their feet propped up on a drawer when I was checking out. Customer service is not very professional, however, this seems to be the trend at hotels in the area.

The lobby smelled of marihuana and not even the AC was on. The mattress' springs creaked every time we turned or sat on it. The breakfast should not be called that at all. The room smelled of humidity.We don't know how Wyndham allows this establishment to have their brand.

This was not at all like the picture. We asked for a non-smoking room and the entire building reeked of smoke. We asked the front desk and he verified that it was non-smoking. We would leave the property in the day and we would smell like smoke all day. We had them make up and clean the room the second night, but they didn't even change towels. They threw the covers up, didn't even neatly make the bed. Makes me wonder if they were clean sheets to begin with, makes my skin crawl. The toilet seat was cracked and pinched when we used the bathroom. This motel definitely needs some upgrades and more attention. I usually don't have issues with Super 8, but this one was a huge thumbs down. We didn't stay the entire time we booked. Found a different, clean hotel.

Contacting corporate and demanding my money back. Was up all night long due to a suv right outside my window. I called the front desk 4 times and she said she can’t do anything. People are running in and out and up and down the stairs all night long. The party group in the parking lot had a room upstairs and had the door propped open with a rolled up door entry mat. The Music was blasting out of the SUV until after 2 AM.Absolutely horrible service and the room was dirty.
There’s a few food options nearby but I would not stay here.
I brought to the management attention in the morning and they didn’t seem surprised. Still no reasonable response or offer for a refund.

OK But Ask for Quiet Room

Two things could have made my stay better:
1)I wish I had asked for a room that wasn't next to the highway. Very lound noisy traffic to include tractor trailer trucks. I did not sleep at all.
2)I only stayed one night and check out was at 11 a.m.
On the morning of the check out, I came back from the horse show (I had to get up early to feed my horse) to try to get a hour's nap/sleep in since I did not sleep so well. I arrived back at 9:30 a.m., took a shower, and crawled into bed. At 10:30 a.m. there was a loud knock knock on the door. I did not open the door--I guess it was the cleaning crew--I woke up and said \"I am in here\" to which I heard \"Never mind\"--not a \"sorry to disturb you\". It was a bit abrupt/disturbing.

Hallway stunk like smoke and weed. Side door was often left open ...damaged, so it wouldn't close all the time. Breakfast was pitiful, so we ended up going across the street to the waffle house. Couldn't sleep well due to hard beds and weed smoke seeping in around the cracks in the door frame.

We got nothing we paid for. The beds size was not the one adversided. The tv wasnt working for hours thru the entire hotel. The toilet kept getting clogged. It was advertised as breakfast included yet that wasnt the case. Only a small hunny bun and small yogurt were available.

This hotel was a great cost savings compared to others in the area. Unfortunately, we definitely felt the impact of that as well in the quality and service. We had non-smoking rooms, but the smell of smoking in the hallway was so strong we could smell it in our room. Thankfully, the clerk on duty allowed us to change rooms to another level, where there was no smoking happening. They advertised a free breakfast but there was only yogurt and honey buns. We were able to get a good night’s rest but there are definitely no frills or fanciness here.

Check-in lady was very nice and friendly. Room was clean if a little worn around the edges. Only thing bad to say is they need sheets that fit the bed. I had a queen but sheets seemed to be for a full size. I was only there overnight and but the time i was going to bed was too tired to wait for someone to get proper sized sheets.

The staff were great and pleasant but the room was dirty. There were red and black bugs inside the room on the windows. There was a long dark hair on the toilet seat upon arrival in our room and hairs in the corners of the floors in the bathroom. The hallway stunk and we were on a non-smokig floor. Our room smelt like a whole can of Aqua Net hairspary exploded in it. I slept fully clothed in our beds which were not comfortable at all.

The hotel smells strong of stale air, they are trying to mask the smell with air fresheners and it seems is overwhelming. The wall air conditioning unit makes the smells worse. On the first floor the window opens and does not lock! The road noise is loud as well but not much you can d about that since it is right on he main road.

Cockroaches. We found a cockroach on the wall and one on the bed crawling. Video recording and picture shown to attendant who immediately said she knew it came from a room by ours. We immediately left and found another hotel at 930 pm. Had to drive an hour to another hotel. Haven’t been able to get in touch with hotels.com to get a refund as manager said it had to be initiated by me through hotels.com. Honestly just blown away. Whole dealing with that the attendant was still letting folks check in…??? Had to pay an insane amount for another hotel and drive an hour.

Check in was terrible. I stood at the counter for a minute while the lady laid back in her chair watching her phone while blasting music on her computer. I finally said “excuse me, can I check in?” She looked at me, didn’t say anything. Went back to her phone for another 15 seconds then got up and still never greeted or anything, just asked for my last name. Room wasn’t very nice. Soap left in shower from previous guest, sheets were inside out so were they changed or just flipped, they also hardly fit the bed so they kept popping off, carpets and all just looked dirty, and the entire place smelled of weed.

Not one to leave a poor review, but it was laughably bad. We will call it an experience but still can taste chemicals in our throat and almost slept in our car. Stains on floor, febreeze wouldn't take the acrid smell out of the air. Will not stay with this franchise again.

Had to stand at desk for 10 minutes calling for desk clerk to come check in. Once she came she was on her cell phone and never got off of it while checking me in. Was suppose to have a king sized bed l, it was a queen. The room smelled like urine and was even worse when you turned the air/ heat on. The noise level coming from the parking lot and the Waffle House next door was very loud all through the night. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Interstate access literally down the street. Gas station 100 feet away. Lobby decoration for the season, a wonderful touch! Great price!

The side door that we entered during our stay was always unlocked so anyone could enter without a key card. Coffee and the limited and unhealthy breakfast (honey buns and yogurt) were supposed to be available at 6am but coffee was not made until after 7am. The staff was rude and unhelpful. The first night of our stay a staff member called our room at 1am to see if the car parked infryof the hotel was ours, waking us up. Apache had been calling room to room to asked this question. We had provided the make and model of our vehicle upon check in which would have given the answer, that it was not our car. Regardless it was rude and completely uncalled for. We visit Lexington a couple times a year, but we will never stay at this property again

We had to wait ten minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. The room reeked of smoke and it was disgustingly dirty ( dried food caked on the microwave and the tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages). The only reason I didn’t cancel is that there were no other hotels with vacancies. We paid a ridiculous amount of money. We will never stay in a super 8 again.

The front desk receptionist was very nice. That’s about the only thing that was good at this hotel. We stayed in a non smoking room, but if someone is smoking in the hotel I’ll will tell you one thing. That will travel through the whole hotel into the room. The restroom was not clean. The bed cover had dog hair all over. Very disappointed
