The bus (line 635) from the terminal was very convenient. It runs every 10 minutes and the trip is 5 minutes long.

You have to take a public bus from the second floor. Don’t follow the shuttle sign. You’ll have to come out and there is a big outdoor atrium and you go one more level up to the street level. I took the ride late and the bus driver didn’t bother collecting fare. It also looked like that it’s routinely people jump on the shuttle from the back door and not sure they paid either. You can buy a ticket at the hotel front desk when you return to the airport. Given is much cheaper than the property at the airport (and you have to walk to the big atrium anyway… and MUC is a big airport), I’ll go to NH again!

This hotel has always been our go to for coming and going from MUC. However, since last year we’ve never been able to control our room climate and temperature was up to 26 degrees in the room last night. You cannot open your room windows in this hotel.

Also very sad to see the hotel took out the coffee and tea from the rooms. A real mistake when trying to save money.

We will be going elsewhere from now on.

We arrived on a late-night flight and chose to stay close to the airport.

The staff were very kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms are beautifully designed and exceptionally clean, which made for a very comfortable stay.

There is a bar/food area in the lobby where you can have drinks and something to eat. It closes around midnight. The food we had was very good.

Getting from the terminal to the hotel is simple: a taxi costs approximately €15, or you can take public transportation for about €2. The hotel does not provide a shuttle service.

Overall, highly recommended for a convenient airport stay.

The hotel itself is quite good. Comfortable rooms, very nice breakfast.
The hotel also was nice in checking in my travel companion before I arrived.

However the airport proximity was a big disappointment!
It did look closer to the airport when I was booking it. I was looking for hotel in walking distance. In fact it is about 40 mins walk.
We planned to stay there for one night arriving to Munich airport quite late in the evening before commuting further. We had a lot of luggage with us. Initially planned to keep the luggage in the airport storage but it was closed so late. We had to take it with us.
No taxi wanted to take us to the hotel! I think it is quite typical when you try to get to nearby airport hotel that they don’t want to do it.
The hotel cancelled hotel shuttle for “sustainability” reasons and we had to take a public bus. With a lot of luggage it was extremely inconvenient.
So for easiness to get to the hotel I score them 0. The whole point of using “airport” hotel is convenience in commute between airport and hotel for all type of customers including those with big luggage and arriving late.

Great location and very very close to MUC airport. Just a 2-3 min drive to the terminals. Room was clean, check in was quick. Nice vibe in the lobby area. Had to pay almost 30 Euros for parking... no other parking closeby for our rental car so that was a surprise. Other than overnight parking costs it was a great stay and very convenient location for our early morning flight the next day. A+++++

My mom left an adaptor for me at the front desk to pick up when I returned. She was issued a ticket - like one for storing luggage- but when I went to pick it up they couldn’t find it and said the ticket didn’t mean anything. I described the girl who took it and that she put it in a white envelope. They had no idea. I had no charger for my phone that night even though they sold them in their hotel - I was never offered a replacement or even one to borrow. Not great customer service.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the Novotel. The online check-in was convenient, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our modern, spacious room had high ceilings, comfortable beds, and quality bedding—everything we needed for a great night’s rest. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. We also appreciated how easy it was to get to the airport—a short walk to the bus stop and just a €2 ride away. It would be great if the hotel provided a flyer to explain how to take the bus to get to the train in order to go into the city and return. Not the hotel's fault that it is confusing but it would be very helpful to have an explanation for guests of which bus and which train to take. Otherwise, great!

We only spent one night here before flying out. This is an awesome hotel. We arrived by S-Bahn and walked to the hotel. We were misled by directions provided by the hotel via hotels.com messaging. The walking distance and route was rigorous when dragging travel gear and bags. There were no “N” logos on the walkway as described. We took a wrong turn before relying on GPS to get to the hotel. We cut across parking lots to get there. I recommend using the us connection to get there. To get to the terminal for our departure, we went to the bus stop and the next bus was full. So we dragged our bags back to the hotel and flagged down a taxi.

This hotel is adjacent to the airport. You have to Uber/Taxi or take a bus to it but it is not very far. It is very modern/upscale, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in arranging transportation for us very early in the morning to catch a flight. They have a restaurant and bar that looked very nice and inviting.

The hotel is very clean and close to the airport. The breakfast is excellent. Hotel check in is very fast. However, the hotel room is not functional. The first room we checked in the air conditioning is not working. Luckily we got our room changed. We feel we stayed in a minimalist’s hotel. The room doesn’t have tissue paper, shower cap, no cellphone charge plugs…. The room just not convenient at all.
