This was a fun and entertaining place. We did feel like we were on a ship. The amenities were amazing such as the sauna options, pool options, food options, etc. The locals did tell us that they come here for a staycation, and I can see why!

Room was too warm for me but everything else was superb. The breakfast buffet was incredible and I had a fantastic dinner at the upscale restaurant. We had kids with us. Couldn’t have picked a better place for children! From the water park to food, it was a great time for children!
Staff were very friendly and efficient. Planning to go back again.

Lovely room, clean, spacious, very cosy. I had also enjoyed the tranquil view to the fields. Staff was very helpful and always available when needed, very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is planning to come to Munich. If Therme Erding is on your list this os a place to stay.

Our stay was amazing! The food was fantastic, the service was accommodating, and it had something for everyone! The water park was fun for kids and adults. We will absolutely stay again when we come to Bavaria.

The property theme is fun. My wife liked it. There are many non hotel guests utilizing the property overwhelming a great staff. As a business traveler I must note no coffee or minibar or ice available in the room for some reason. Casual restaurant is good with reasonable prices.

Over priced for the 2 night stay. The big pool that was supposed to be a main attraction was under construction and not accessible.. they should have informed us prior to arrival. Found the same room on their website for 200euros less than the rate we got via hotels.com very disappointing.

A gem of a hotel complex outside Munich

Stayed here for a one night stop as close to Munich airport, I did not realise the extent of the facilities this hotel offered, just amazing, after a week long business trip, the pools, saunas, jacuzzi's where welcome for some relaxation.
The room is very quirky and you would think you are on a cruise ship, great layout and really high quality, spacious and well equipped. I would come back again with my wife for a few nights break, definitely and will stay here again if back on business.

I wish we had more time to enjoy all this outstanding property had to offer. The rooms were stunning! Super clean, bright, very cool decor, comfortable and spacious. The boat theme is carried throughout.The room was better than the pictures showed The food at the restaurants was delicious. The facility is big and full of fun! We will be back to enjoy all of it.

Stay is okay. For the price I expected more. The bathroom was for people with disabilities (no problem usually) however the shower wets the ENTIRE bathroom floor. The drainage is not suitable for this type of shower. I reported this to the hotel who sent somebody to look at it. They said it's not a problem and gave me a lot of towels to put on the floor to deal with it. A workman can to inspect the shower and walked his dirty boots onto the towels.

So, beware, if you are given this room you will be expected to deal with a completely wet bathroom floor and expected to clean it up with towels yourself. I expect more from what is supposed to be a luxery hotel.

We had a very comfortable stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet – just what we needed after a long trip.
However, there was one issue that prevented us from giving a perfect score: the lights in the Therme remained on all night, which made it difficult to achieve total darkness. Perhaps dimming the lights could be considered – also for environmental reasons.
On a more positive note, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The selection was varied and delicious, with plenty of options to suit all tastes.

Always fun and relaxing at Therme Erding. Family section is crazy wild but they handle it well. The spa area is one of my faves and I return frequently. My bartender at the outside bar was a great guy and we had fun talking about our worlds. Misha is a great bartender👍

This is an amazing place.

The hotel is very luxurious. The restaurant is great. Free parking. The coup de grace is , of course, the direct entrance in the Therme. An absolutely amazing place. Better than any watermark and hot springs we have ever been to - and we have seen many.

The check in person had no idea what he was doing, Asked for Airport distance told us 30 km. Not sure how much shuttle was , Gave us 2 different prices, Charged us twice for room, Could not get into pool area had to go back twice to rescan our bracelets

We ended up here 2 times during our vacation. We had a captains cabin both times and it was worth it. My kids loved the bunk beds. The rooms were spacious and had 2 bathrooms. This is a family room. The hotel provides these electronic watches for everyone to record your movements in and out of the water park, it also lets you into your room, and you can charge food and drink with it, very convenient and can get expensive in the end. My children loved the water park. It did feel like I was “nickel and dimed” a bit, so I’m not sure I’d want to go again, but the happiness of the kids made me return.

The water park was super busy on some days and that was annoying especially since many people seem to drop off their kids and no one is watching them. There are many ill behaved and rude people, but I think you get that everywhere.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for children. We stayed the day before our flight back to the USA. Grandson had a blast at the waterpark and pool. This is a good way to burn off all that extra energy. Food in the Empire restaurant was delicious. Our stay was short however we really enjoyed our visit.

Water park attached but not included

This hotel is attached to the worlds largest spa and water park. We have booked with this site many times at this hotel. They used to offer an all inclusive option which included the water park and pools. They no longer do. So unless you pay a separate fee at the hotel, you will not even be able to use the pool. That being said, it is so nice to be able to walk out of the hotel in your robe and go right to the pools. We highly recommend this hotel

Bed was really hard and hurt my wife’s back. We loved water park areas. Had a great time. We didn’t think the 300+ euro room fee was worth it. Especially since we had to pay for everything extra. Food was very pricey. WiFi didn’t work in the room.

5* food, wine, relaxation - all in an old vessel

Melter is a very unique hotel that provides a once in a lifetime experience. The hotel is part of an enormous water park that also offers a very large spa complex. Those services can be used for a fee. The Hotel rooms are located in an old Vessel shaped part of the building overlooking the water park and its tropical surrounding. The hotel rooms are spacious cabins with wooden interior, modern bathrooms (shower has a digital display that allows to chose the water temperature to the exact degree). The cabins are soundproof and offer wooden blinds that ensure complete darkness and restful sleep.
Staff was extremely kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make my stay a memorable one. The \"Empire\" restaurant onsite serves a variety of excellent wines, and diverse assortment of food. I had the plumo iberico with a South African Shiraz, which was excellent. I am glad I found this gem of a hotel. I travel to Germany for work regularly and like to spend the night before my flight back near the airport. It is located approximately 12 miles from Munich airport. I will use this hotel every time moving forward.

Would not honor hotels.com inclusive rate

Although access to the Therme itself (but not the sauna, which is a small upcharge) was included in the Hotels.com rate, the Hotel would not initially honor this inclusion. It took phone calls to hotels.com customer support and arguments with the front desk, until this was resolved. The check-in clerk admonished me for booking with a third-party site instead of directly with their site.

Although I was ultimately credited the 90 euros for the Therme stay, I will probably never stay in the hotel again, as they were incredibly dishonest and rude about the situation. If the hotel was that unhappy with using a third-party site, then they shouldn't make room available on those sites.

We had a great trip but we were disappointed to find that there had been a system glitch when we got to check in. The system. Had shut down and turns out that even though we had paid for a room there was no room available for us. We were given alternative accommodation and a little money back. We would have loved to stay in the Hotel Victory but may not ever get chance as we travelled from New Zealand. The guest house was lovely and the staff were amazing.

I booked a balcony room, but found the noise during therme opening hours to be too loud to enjoy it. Would go with no balcony room next time.

Unexpectedly moved to the guest house

I reserved the main hotel. But when I was there at 3:30 pm, I was told that there was no room left for me due to many guests from Austria, and guided to a room at the guest house located 200 meter from the main hotel. I thought this made completely no sense because I reserved and made full payment. After I complained and requested for a compensation, I was given 61 euro credit. But I guess this was the difference of room charges between the main hotel and the guest house. If I had not requested a compensation, I doubt, they had not made any offer for moving 200 meters with my big bag (they did not help me to move this bag) and taking a lower level occupancy. The room at the guest house was good, but I could not remove my disappointment at their business.

Disappointed with hotel but Therme Spa recommended

Hotel was just ok, 3 of us (parents of 13 year old) stayed in a yacht room which was small and ok for two nights but really I'd recommend just getting the S Bahn 2 from Munich and doing the therme spa only. The Hotel is vastly overpriced for what you get. I.e. Small room, no fridge, tea or coffee making facility, promised bottled water was actually a plastic jug of tap water in the room. Also reception staff a by off, some were really quite frosty even allowing for German culture. Breakfast was ok but is packed up early so be there 1 hour before the 11am close.

Outstanding European Therme experience!

I chose this hotel since it was close to Munich Airport and because it was part of the Therme. I was looking for some R&R after some intensive walking and hiking on the Adriatic coast. The room I chose - the Yacht-Kabine was stunning and perfect for a solo traveler. The design, the state-of-the-art technology in terms of lighting, electronics etc was outstanding. And then the Therme itself - what a delightful experience, and so refreshing! I chose to use the textile free area every day and enjoyed multiple sauna experiences - of which there are many. European approach to taking care of the body in sauna and aufguss rituals was both refreshing and liberating. I can't recommend this hotel and the Therme enough. If you are a family, the water park will also provide a host of fun experiences too.

Hotel is beautiful. Not worth the value.

I would not put my stay as amazing. The location is nice and you can access train station and public transportation easily. Also the main town is not too far. Value wise not too great. We were asked to pay additional to get the room that shows in the Hotel.com website. Please check with the hotel or the hotel what you are getting with your reservation. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. Very good place to take your children. Fun place for the young and old.

The hotel is inside the \"Thereme Erding\" which is a large water park with wellness center.
The hotel design is inspired from a ship, so all the rooms look on the inside like a yacht, which is pretty fancy. Rooms have a very modern design, with everything you need. I really loved the shower which falls like standing in a waterfall. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of different food, and in the entrance are they have a little bar.
Also included in the hotel price is a free admission to the water park (Not to the wellness and spa area), which makes the room rates more competitive. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the Airport, which is not bad at all, and what is so bad on jumping in the pool before you go on a 9 hour flight.

The nautical theme of the hotel was wonderful. The rooms are immaculate, with a nice balcony. The waterpark and spa are incredible. I can't wait to go back. I would like to spend several days there next time. (Also, convenient to Munich airport. I spent the night here before flying. I'm glad I did as the atmosphere is so relaxing.

Wow, what an experience!

This hotel is off the beaten path, when we pulled up we thought what did we do and who recommended this to us. Don't be fooled by the feeling of driving into an abandoned mall parking lot, this hotel is awesome. Once inside, you realize that you have just stepped into an amazing adult Wally world. The room was nautical themed, modern beyond belief and just amazing. You can keep your clothing in the suitcase all you need is your bathing suit and bathrobe. This will be a spa vacation times two.

Waterpark Hotel

Chosen as location suited an overnight stop on a long drive. Majority of guests were families staying for the attached waterpark. Hotel services geared towards them and not a business traveller. No room service, for example, and a buffet restaurant whose waiting staff did not did not speak English. Otherwise very good. Rooms were excellent - very smart, clean, no noise and free wifi.

Nothing but good things to say about this place! Great breakfast selection(i haven't seen better than this in Germany) professional English speaking staff , the water park excellent, all though they are still working on a section. If you don't mind the 30 km drive from Munich, this is by far the best place to stay in town!

Enjoyable stay at a great facilty.

Fabulous hotel all in all. Everything new , clean and shiny although like an abandoned building site outside & surrounds. Expensive stay and staff were helpful but english information was sometimes minimal. Kids clipper club is advertised as one of their feature's, however this is not as well structured as it should be and is run when it suits the staff or staff available and can become very expensive with 2 kids+. Restaurant is a lovely theme, however food was average to good with strong fried smell lingering.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, jedoch erfolgte keine Reinigung. Lediglich die Handtücher wurden gewechselt. Wir mussten uns während des Aufenthaltes in der Therme ein Zugangsbändchen teilen. Auch eine Neuprogrammierung brachte keine Besserung. Am Anreisetag konnten wir keine freieLiege mehr bekommen. Eine Reservierung seitens des Hotels könnte Abmilderung bringen!

Pro: Hochwertige Ausstattung, Personal am Check-in gut.
Contra: Nach der Zimmerreinigung noch fremde Haare in der Dusche, nicht alle Bereiche der Therme offen (Renovierung), harte Brötchen zur Auswahl im Frühstücksraum.

Es ist alles, wirklich alles hervorragend.
Angefangen vom Einchecken über das Zimmer, Frühstück bis hin zum Restaurant Empirie wo ich jeden Abend vorzüglich gegessen und bedient wurde. Was soll ich sagen, selbst wenn man das sprichwörtliche Haar in der Suppe suchen würde, hie findet man es bestimmt nicht. 👍
