I was here for a week during Oktoberfest. I felt the Munich hotel prices were too high so I tried this one out in Erding. The hotel is by the station and near a bus route to the airport. I had no noise complaints and Erding seemed to be an upscale suburb. Room was clean and decent size and the price wasn’t bad for such a busy time of the year.

We picked this hotel because in the list of amenities it had laundry facilities twice. We needed this at this point in our journey but when we got there they didn’t have it. We tried to contact someone but this hotel does not have live people after 3:00 pm. The hotel is dated but was fine for one night. One great thing about this hotel is the breakfast. It was awesome.

This might have been the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Fine for putting your head to the pillow before catching a flight but hopefully you don’t have to open a suitcase while you’re there because there is no where to put it. Service was ok but desk closes at 4pm so be prepared for that and check your emails while you travel or you’d be stuck without late check-in instructions.

Nice hotel that could be nicer without shag carpet

The receptionist at check in was friendly and moved me to another room when the 1 st room smelled of perfume. Overall the hotel was fine, I just didn't like the shag carpet. I opened the window and kept it open all night and felt better about the room. The bed was comfy.
The Breakfast Buffet was delicious and the server was delightful. It opened at 6:30 which was perfect for my early flight at 9:15.
Easy location to Erding center and the Therme.
It would be a lovely hotel with new flooring in the rooms.

Less: we booked a small room that was fine, but it als meant a very small bed (120 cm). I did not know that, afterwards I looked into it, but I couldn't see anywhere that this was a very very small bed. So I would book this hotel again, but now I know of the bed size I would book a room with the notification big bed, because that is the normal size...And On the picture of the hotel there's a cosy terrace but in real life there wasn't a terrace or outside. That was very disappointing, so after dinner in the village you had to go up your room and I couldn't sit anywhere with my family.

Hotel Arooma was closed, and we were given an option to stay in 'Gasthaus & Hotel zum ERDINGER Weißbräu'. It was really nice overnight stay in the hotel of famous Bavarian brewery. Restaurant was also nice with the good selection of Erdinger beer. Breakfast was also good.

Overnight stay in Erding before flying out

Really great little hotel near the city center of Erding which was just a quick 15min drive to the Munich Airport. Very modern and close to restaurants. The staff was absolutely amazing! Super friendly and the breakfast in the morning was really delicious.

¡PERFECT LIL HOTEL!

The hotel was very cute and roomy. I got ready too late so didn't have a chance to check out the self service breakfast, because I had rush to walk to the bus station. It was a beautiful hotel. I was VERY pleased. Unfortunately, I did not get Croatian girl's name, the receptionist, but she was very friendly and funny and helpful too! Nice experience with Arooma and 1st time in Erding. And I love that I didn't have to walk too far (5 minutes or so, with my limp) for the nonstop bus to the airport!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Arooma and surrounding areas.Because we got there about 4 PM,we were a little confused when we got there because no one was around to help us get in to the hotel.We called the phone number we had on our reservations and were quickly helped.But it's still a little disconserting after travelling all day!Your breakfast was very tasty,fresh and hot.Lots of choices tooThe staff at the breakfast were very helpful too.They brought out the gluten free bread quickly.Tabitha at the front desk was very helpful in getting us to Munich the quickest and cheapest way on the train.Samantha was also great at answering questions.It's a very nice quiet hotel and we enjoyed our stay!

The front desk spoke very good English, a blessing as I know very little German. Our room was small, but, we've been in tinier rooms in NYC! It was tidy and efficiently laid out with all of the furnishings in excellent condition. The quietness surprised us as, unless the windows were open, we were not bothered by noise.

The breakfast was typical Euro, the foods fresh and the dining area was kept very clean.

There are excellent local restaurants just a short walk away and the train station is less than a 10 minute walk away.

This was a very nice laid back hotel and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Free parking for the hotel on the street is very limited, but, there is a garage with a few more spaces beneath the hotel that you can access via the car elevator, yes, a car elevator!

Stayed here the night before a flight out of Munich airport. Was impressed with the efficient use of space in room and bathroom and modern furnishings. Quite comfortable for 2 people with a standard double room. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast included. Section of Erding around hotel has a number of restaurants and was beautiful and enjoyable to walk through. Train station/Bus stop is about 6 min walk to hotel and bus is about 35 min ride to airport. Train is about 50 min to main station in Munich. Would stay here again!

The staff was extremely helpful. As an American they were able to speak English with me. They provided me with a charger it helped so much since I didn’t have the right outlet. The breakfast was EXTEMLEY Unforgettable it had so many options.. I was blown away. The area was located in a nice scenic town and the bed room was quite. Beautiful hotel with a great location. It was 18 min from MUC Airport and had plenty of places around it. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful, I needed a parking spot and they had some on the side of the hotel and also underground. We had a very early checkout since we had an early flight and regardless they still provided us with their breakfast while it was still being setup. The food was very very good and had a wide variety. Staff at the breakfast lounge were very accommodating and very polite. Had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely be back when visiting Munich again.

great place to stay if using Munich airport. Short, easy drive to the airport. Prices reasonable, hotel outstanding, breakfast a hit, but most of all, you are right at the end of Erding's retail area and can walk into the town and shop and dine. Overall, I would give this place a 4 on the verge of a 5.
Pros: Clean; good decor; great location (5 min walk from train ride, 30-45 min from Munich, and adorable town); the Indian restaurant a block away is great; great response time when sending emails from overseas; awesome continental breakfast that is included.
Cons: There were 2 areas of disappointments. There is still some language misunderstandings. I tried to find out about the thermal spa before coming to the hotel as they said on their welcome letter that they \"had tickets\" for guests. I kept asking as it sounded like it was a free hot water soak nearby in the area. They just kept saying that I would find out about it during check-in. We were so looking forward to a soak as our legs and feet were tired from 2-weeks of traveling. What it actually is that they have tickets that you can purchase (not cheap) to a place that is like a huge spa and waterpark (not the quiet and relaxing place we were looking for). There are multiple places that need to be corrected in their directory in English, but that's not super important. Just an FYI. The other disappointment is that there is no access to a tea pot or fridge so that after a long days of travel there is no way to access drinks or store your food. Otherwise, this is a great place, and we would stay again. This was one of the nicest places that we stayed.

The hotel is right downtown Erding, which is a wonderful place to walk around in, and it's still very close to the airport, or Therme Erding, if that's your thing.
