Great room. Good size and very quiet due to insulated windows and heavy interior doors. Room lighting, mostly floor and table lamp other than in the bathroom, was dim but useable. Staff was exceptional and very accomodating. Will stay here again.

Spent 3 nights here, and everything was wonderful. A truly traditional Bavarian hotel. Had dinner twice in the associated restaurant, where both food as well as service were outstanding. Would definitely recommend and if ever in the are, we will stay here again. If you’re flying in or out of Munich, the airport is literally <15 min away.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Erding. This is our second visit here and we love everything from the staff, to the hotel restaurant to the close access to all of the local things. You were also an easy trip to downtown Munich by train. Highly recommend as a place to stay and enjoy the area

I was a little annoyed because I thought I had a hotel near the airport.It's about 15 minutes by taxi.Then when we walked into the hotel My wife and I both thought this was nice.Then we saw the room.Wow this was one of those accidental turns that ended up being wonderful. It does take about an hour to get to downtown munich by train

Very nice option for one night in my case for continuing travelling next day. The hotel is nice, very clean, food outstanding. You could take a walk around, nice little town. Would definitely do this again.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated in traditional Bavarian style (but with all modern conveniences). Our room was immaculate, and it was a joy to stay there. Because the hotel is in the center of town, you can easily walk to most everything you need. We especially recommend the Erdinger Weissbrau restaurant downstairs, where you can sit inside or out on the patio and enjoy the fabulous beer and local specialties. (If you're there during the right season, you might see Pfifferlinge on the menu. Those are chanterelle mushrooms. The dumplings with chanterelle sauce are heavenly!)

We also recommend the Therme Erding, which is a short drive away. It features an amazing variety of saunas, swimming pools, etc., that you won't find in America.

We love this hotel and the town of Erding!

If this place just had air conditioning it would've saved my weekend. It was June and crazy hot and germans think you can just open the windows. Well, the windows open up on the town square and loud motorcycles and teenagers in cars blaring loud music went by ALL NIGHT under our open windows. We left the next morning with zero sleep. Also the town is super boring and you need a reservation to eat anywhere.

Wonderful hotel in beautiful small town of Erding. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean comfortable room. A bit of street noise if your room is facing the street and windows are open. Great restaurant with delicious German cuisine and of course good Erdinger bier.

Eat here but stay elsewhere

The front desk is only open from 07.00 to 16.00! I have never experienced a hotel with such short business hours.

My room was clean and would have been comfortable except that there was no electrical outlet anywhere near the bed. This was very inconvenient since I use a CPAP machine for sleeping.

The Hotels.com website indicates that shuttle service is offered to the airport, but that is not true. Instead, it’s a 40 Euro taxi ride.

The best thing about this hotel is the superb restaurant. It served delicious local specialties, and the staff was wonderful! It was packed with local customers. I got a strong feeling that the restaurant was the main focus of this business and that the hotel rooms were just an afterthought. If I’m back in Erding, I would stay elsewhere but would definitely come back to this restaurant.

We booked, based on room pictures and info on Hotels.com The room was entirely different and marked on the fire escape plan as a room for personnel and was pretty poor. Contrary to what the hotels.com website said, there was NO shuttle service to the airport. A complaint to Hotels.com resulted in promises made to check into this and let us know, resulted in no further information at all. in short, a pretty poor experience

Great traditional Bavarian Restaurant, good food, friendly service, excellent beer, good atmosphere. Room very clean and comfortable.
Hotel is less than 20 minutes from the airport, and we needed to leave at 5am to get a flight, but the basement garage door malfunctioned and did not open, which caused some anxiety, as there was no-one to fix it at that time of day, but we found one member of staff who found a step ladder so we could use a handle to wind the door up to escape.
Only disappointing element of an otherwise great stay, and to be fair, I am not sure that this malfunction was within the control of the hotel.

We loved the town of Erding and found the hotel clean and nice after being in Morocco. Beds were comfy and bathroom neat and useful. However, we were placed in a top floor room that did not have an opening window or operating air con. It was over 24 degrees and could not be cooled and the lovely eiderdown covers were overkill. In spite of asking for help this issue was not resolved. Staff were adequate but not especially helpful or warm. I would not consider this an \"airport\" hotel either as it was a 30 euro taxi ride each way.

This place and town is awesome. Just what you are looking for in a German/Bavarian style. Great food. Clean. Great staff. Short walk to the S train-approx. 45 min train ride to Munich. Meanwhile, you get to see all the other towns on the way. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for quiet, small Original German town. So So nice.

The rooms are very nice, however the internet keeps disconnecting every few minutes, very annoying.
Food in the restaurant is mediocre at best. Schnitzel is apparently prepared in a deep fryer. A big No-Go...
What pissed us off completely was a bill of 12,80 Euro for 2 small bottles of still water we used from the room. We felt robbed!

The location here is KEY! It's in the middle of downtown just a few steps away from shopping, a grocery store, four different bakeries and a bunch of restaurants! We came here for the Therme Erding, and the bus to the spa stops across the street! The reception staff will help you with times. All of the staff that we encountered at the hotel or restaurant speak and understand English. Our room was very spacious and clean.

Our Superior room was very spacious and exactly as pictured. We arrived at the hotel at 11:00 a.m., the receptionist did some rearranging and let us check in early! We purchased our tickets to Therme Erding through the hotel for a 5% discount, and the wonderful front desk staff gave us a bus schedule so that we could use the city bus with ease. The bus stop is about a block from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was huge and included cook to order eggs. The restaurant at the hotel was always busy because of the wonderful Bavarian food and reasonable prices. The wait staff again, were professional and efficient. We are already planning our next trip there!

This is a very nice hotel with spacious rooms, but we found that the breakfast buffet was not replenished after 9am and on check out, we were very disappointed to be charged €20 for the use of two bath robes which other hotels of this standard provide free of charge - the receptionists had a whispering session before the charge was made.

This is a pretty good location to stay at your night before flying out of Munich. The hotel is great, the town is great. There is a little waterway that runs around and through this town. Nice walking trails. The hotel has a full restaurant and excellent service. The rooms are nice and clean. Wifi is pretty good too. One more thing, they have a few TV channels in English as well.

Hotel was completely renovated and updated building from mid 1500's. Rooms clean, comfortable. Hotel restaurant food was good. Cleaning and restaurant staff very nice. Reception staff not friendly and helpful. When i checked in the front desk girl gave me short clip answers to my questions about parking and the area. She offered no additional assistance. Upon check out the front desk gentleman thought it was polite/proper to correct my pronunciation of city name \"Munich.\"

The room was spacious and the service was nice. I did not take power converter for laptop use (I'm from Canada), the receptionist gave me one to use and return. The only thing I was not sure was about the sheet and cover on the bed (it is prepared like a sleeping bag). I am used to two sheets and then a blanket/cover on top. May be there is something I missed. The TV channels were all in German. There is CNN and CBC, but may be I had to pay to view - I didn't ask. At least, it makes sense if some English channels are included.

Clean with Authentic Character

Room not very comfortable by American standards. Air Conditioning not adequate and no screens on windows so bugs were getting into the room. Bedding linens and pillows were very nice, however mattress was very hard. Bathroom was spacious and shower was good. Wi-Fi was frustrating in that it disconnected frequently and NO outlets by the bedside making phone charging not handy. Electrical outlets on BOTH sides of the beds is a mandatory requirement in this age of using cell phones for alarm. The restaurant and bar were very good for German food. Breakfast was pretty good.

He is comfortable, has very good restaurant and very nice big rooms.
