Lousy room , lousy bed. Very small. No amenities. Terrible restaurant/bar. The airport shuttle is not free (10 E per person) and leaves from an adjacent building. Makes multiple stops. We had an early flight so took a taxi for 26 E and got to our terminal in 8 mins.
Hotel was very clean however and staff helpful and friendly.

The room was clean, but the cleaning staff in the early morning was noisy. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special, omlete from the box not a real omelet, no fried eggs...and everything pork....excuse me but not everyone eats pork! Overall the stay was just ok, nothing special.
For the price I paid I can say is not worth it, so I don't recommend it, as for the money for the hotel plus Uber to get there, you pay you can stay at Hilton in the airport.

This airport hotel was clean and comfortable for an American family to stay. Our kids loved the pool table, ping pong table, etc. We had plenty of space in the room to repack and organize for our flight. Very easy to check in and check out (even at 4 am). Parking was 18 euros.

Great hotel to stay in if you need to be close to the airport for an early morning flight like us. Nothing much to do around the area but we enjoyed playing billard and table tennis. They also have a gym but we didn't get the chance to use it. We had a 6am flight and the bus shuttle just outside the hotel leaves as early as 0330 am.It's 10 euros per person which we paid at our hotel.

We stayed only one night. The room was clean and nice, but pretty small. In our case it didn't matter, since we just didn't want to rush from one flight to another. Overall everything worked out great.
Also to add, the regional bus line 512 stops right at the hotel location. Pretty much every 20 min, that gives great access to the Munich airport.

Before departure, I made enquiries about the meeting point and the times for the shuttle and received information from the hotel same day.
From the airport, I noticed that the driver drove past the Moxy but do not be alarmed as they do a loop, return and park close to the hotel (about 2-3 minutes walk).
Check in/out was a breeze. I booked transfer to the airport at reception. Costs €10 and you receive a voucher. The room was functional/clean and suited me for a night’s stay.
Return transfer is from the same spot as drop off.

Great Overnight Stay Near the Airport

We stayed at Moxy Munich Airport as a family of six, booking two rooms for an overnight stop before our flight. The hotel was clean, spacious, and newly renovated, with a fun and modern vibe.

Breakfast was simple but sufficient - nothing fancy, but good value for the price. The airport shuttle can be arranged for 10 euro/person which made our travel stress-free.

While it’s too far from Munich’s main attractions for sightseeing, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable stay near the airport. Would definitely recommend for travelers needing a reliable airport hotel!

The Moxy Munich Airport hotel has a fun and quirky atmosphere. It was clean and modern. The room was very small and therefore, would not be suitable for a long stay, but overnight was fine. The staff were helpful. We were very pleased with the hotel dinner, which offered a good assortment of food, especially since there is absolutely no where else to go in the area to eat (without a car or taxi ride). The breakfast in the morning had lots of choices and was also very helpful to have, given the isolated location of the hotel. Having the shuttle to the airport was very convenient but expensive (10 euro per person), considering the short distance to the airport. All in all, a good experience. Would recommend.

Room is nice, clean, service is good, airport shuttle from Terminal 2 is free, going back to airport cost you €10 per person, the shuttle drops and pickup from next building so you have to walk about 3-4 minutes with your luggage so ve mindful of that. Still unclear about whether there shuttle picks you up from the Munich Airport. $10 got me to airport in the morning. The driver didn’t even bother with my ticket. Took pubic bus from airport between Terminal 1 & 2. The pick up spot moved as of December 2024.

Hotel was great. Accommodations and service were amazing. However transportation is limited to a bus or uber. Perfect stay if you are leaving the next morning from Munich airport saves you the trip from the city. Would definitely stay again for short trips.

Funky hotel and we really enjoyed the open lounge area with lots of gaming options, books to read, game tables and more. The dinner options were a bit confusing. We ordered a la carte and later discovered some Buffett options. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.

Nice hotel. Is great choice for a business trip or overnight stay at the airport. The rooms are of moderate size, but have great design and are very convenient. The hotel offers a lot of common spaces which is a great benefit.

A bit overpriced

A bit too pricey for the value (not) provided: The wireless network was not functioning correctly (periodic disconnects/unable to connect from room), and the transportation to the airport did not pick up at the hotel (needed to walk to a pickup point, instead). Otherwise, the place is good: Clean and friendly. Quality of food and service was reasonable.

This was a convenient hotel to the Munich airport, A 20 euro taxi ride. They have a bus transportation leaving for the airport every 20 minutes for 10 Euro. The hotel was clean and comfortable. You can order a meal also at the hotel. The breakfast was good.

Great option close to airport. There is a bus stop out front that will get you to the airport or there is a shuttle for a fee or a quick taxi. There is no where to dine around but the did have some offerings at the bar which worked out great. Great service, clean room.

Perfect for a quick stay

We arrived to Munich around midnight. The hotel still had plenty of people in the lobby playing games and visiting. Check in was easy and efficient. The breakfast was great.
