The pictures at Hotel.com make you think, that this loction is in the middle of a small town, with a lot restaurant's. It's NOT. The next door Pizza place was closed for the summer. Bad luck. If you can drive, go to Erding, Erdinger Brewey restaurant. That is a great place.

The room was clean. There was no mini-fridge unfortunately. The hotel restaurant had very poor reviews, so we made sure not to eat there. The parking was a bit down the street, but not that far. We had to drive to find food. The bed was okay. It lived up to a 3 star hotel.

Nice property and great staff BUT, no air conditioning, no fan and with the window open, the noise from the street in front of the hotel is brutal. Maybe ok on a cooler night when you can close the window but I would avoid this in warmer weather. We did not sleep at all.

Quiet, Proximity- to- Flughafen, Clean. The three story AKZENT Hotel Aufkirchen is inviting and easy to locate. Parking is within walking distance but for front drop-off is available. Rooms were clean with a modern accents and well stocked for the number of guest. The safe, phone, coffee maker and other room conveniences are present and functional. Checkin and checkout was easy and quick. The surroundings town has a maintained walking path and the hotel is collocated with a dentist office should you have any dental needs.

Great place to stay with free parking for our rental car. Last nights in Europe. Close to Erding for great restaurants. Very comfortable room with modern bathroom. Clean and tidy. Breakfast €17 was good too. Easily made it to airport in time. A hassle free stay.

A little far from Erding….
This hotel is in a small village but pretty close to the airport. Our family of four needed a room for one night until our accommodations in Munich were ready and were flying in the evening. Upon arrival, our room was stuffy (no ac) and with no screens on windows the flies came in when we tried to air out our room. The night attendant was pretty unfriendly and we had several issues like a window not shutting and the TV needing to reset that he did help with but begrudgingly. The hotel is located in a small village. The only food is the adjacent Italian restaurant who does not accept credit cards and seems to have only one person working, at least at night. We were grateful we decided to eat at airport and did not rely on that place for a late dinner. The beds were large by European standards but so noisy- the sheets made a sound with every movement.
In the morning things improved- the day attendant was helpful and we found with a pre-purchased Bayern family ticket we could easily catch the bus at the stop about a five minute walk away. The 515 bus takes you to the S8 train stop in about 15 minutes, which gets you into Munich in about 25 minutes. Mind the bus schedule though as it is infrequent. But if well timed this works well. The buffet breakfast was good also.
The hotel posts photos of a pool and fitness center- these do not exist. Just know you are in a remote village. Erding is close by, but if you don’t have a car it is not accessible.

We unfortunately stayed there when major renovations were taking place, couldn't even open the window properly as they were painting outside and had plastic film all over it. Maybe it was because it was Monday but we couldn't find food easily, the next door pizza shop was closed. It just was a bit inconvenient all round.

Great spot. We were on a layover and wanted to get away from the noise of the airport so we booked a family room and it was huge. Both front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. When we couldn't get an Uber, they called a cab which came promptly. Morning breakfast was an added bonus and had something for everyone in our family. Not much around the hotel so worth the ride into town for great dining options.

The asolute worst hotel in the area. Unclean bed sheets, room's door would not lock, and the bathtub was dirty as well. The hotel has zero amenities to speak of and is in desperate need of immediate repair and remodel. Do yourself a favor and just book at Ibis. Ibis is much closer to all the attractions and food options galore. Hard pass on ever booking at Akzent ever again.

Large room and handy for the airport. Mercure would do well to advise guests that there are TWO Mercure MUC airport hotels..make sure you go to the correct one. I thought the handwritten note on the bottled water informing me that it was 2.95 euro was rather unwelcome! Otherwise, pleasant stay and would go again. Did not try the breakfast.

Special request not even acknowledged. Limited free parking. Small shower-if you are heavier than 135 pounds you will find it difficult to move around. I weigh 120 and if you turn around you will change the faucet setting. May be too high of a step for elderly to get into the shower Room requires that you keep your keep engaged in order to have electricity. Front desk should mention this since many people are unaware especially if you are use to B&B's. Church bells do chime every 15 minutes, however, not all night. There is street noise. Not as close to the airport as expected. Good for a stay when coming in our out of Munich. You should have a car. Room could use some repairs, however, they were minor and not really worth a mention.

I just lived the property over all. I found shower amenities from the last guest in the shower stall and hair in the bath tub(im bald). I also had two \"room attendants \" try to enter my room when i was trying to sleep even with the do not disturb on. We stayed in a family room with 2 queen beds and the room was very very spacious. We booked the room with breakfast included for an extra 10 euro for the 4 of us and thought the breakfast was outstanding! There were eggs, sausage and beans as well as typical German offerings of meat, cheese and bread. We really enjoyed the hotel and breakfast. Airport was only 15 minutes away and was super convenient.

While the hotel is very nice, it is not at all an airport hotel. We had to drive 15 to get there, and once we did the only option for food was takeout pizza at a mostly closed Italian restaurant next door. Constant noise and early traffic on the highway our front forced us to close the window which led to a stuffy night.

Rooms and beds are good however they don’t have a restaurant, they don’t have a city shuttle they don’t have a bar and they are in the middle of nowhere. So have a car when you use it.

Lovely hotel, although in a very quiet area with not very much around except a Pizzeria. But the hotel itself was very clean, peaceful and nice. The breakfast too was lovely. Only thing I would have liked is airconditioning, because I like to sleep with cool air, winter or not. I had to open the window which meant traffic noise coming in. However, not much traffic in the area so it was ok. But a fan or airconditioning would have been nice. The hotel does have a car park but a little walk from the hotel and the car park had no lighting, it was simply too dark. Overall, I had a good experience.

I loved this little hotel in Aufkirchen, Germany! It was close to the airport only about 10 minutes and it was clean and neat and very comfortable. And next time we have to be near the Munich airport we would definitely stay at the Mercure! I also had a great walk around the church and saw the beautiful horses in the field and in their stables. What a delight!

The toilet seat was broke and I almost fell onto the floor. The shower door might as well not even have been on there at all because the water just puddled onto the floor. The ceiling above the shower was all moldy. The bell on the nearby church rang all night and early morning that made it hard to sleep. cute cottagey hotel in a residential area-we liked how quiet it was-breakfast has big selection-only downfall i can say is that we came around noon and although we didnt have to wait to check in-the front desk lady seeing that my husband is over 6 ft tall gave us a room on the top floor which has sloped ceilings even in the shower which made it difficult.

When we checked in the hotel desk person told us we only had two rooms, not the three rooms we reserved and pre-paid for. She insisted that we only had two rooms reserved. Thus, we had to cram three people into each of the two double rooms. The next morning a different hotel person found our third room reservation, but it was too late. Instead of crediting us for their failure to find our third room, the hotel listed us as a “no show” for the third room and kept our payment. Additionally, Hotels.com supports that action and has done nothing to help. We would caution everyone when using Hotels.com and the Mercure at the Munich airport. Finally, the hotel says it has an airport shuttle (the hotel is about 5 miles from the airport). It does, but it costs 10€ per person!

It was pouring rain in Munich that day and our Window developed a massive leak, to the point where it started creating a puddle on the floor.
When I brought the issue up, the only solution was to throw towels at it and hope the rain the let up. When I again brought the solution up to the front desk, all the lady kept saying was, \"This is Germany. You won't be getting any type of reimbursement. Nothing can be done for you.\"

There was a communication problem between expedia and the hotel. We were given a reservation number when we reserved the day before arrival, but when we arrived at the hotel, they had no rooms. This was a problem as the entire city of Munich was sold out. The hotel said they had been sold out for weeks. The staff worked to find a room for us in the next small town over. The new hotel was near an S-bahn station so that we could tour Munich as planned. 5 stars to the staff for helping some very tired (10 hour flight) stranded travelers. They rescued our vacation.
