Everything was good except the gym. None of the aerobic equipment worked and somebody had stolen some of the dumbells Other than that It was a good hotel to stay in.

Check in ok, friendlt staff. Lunch and dinner in restaurant was good, but nothing special. Waiters in the evening were abrupt and not friendly. Room was comfortable, pillows were quite thin.
Wewoild stay again, orimarily due to price and location to airport. Local bus to airport was a short was feom hotel and cost was €4.10

Requested a room with a shower, was assigned a room with a bus. They changes the room for us.

We had towle for only 1 person.

No hot water in the shower. Very annoying and disappointing. We were promised compensation but they had to wait for this morning to talk to a manager. We left before they had a chance.

Overall, very bad experience. Our first stay, October 16, was much better.

Great staff and service. Our room wasn’t all that clean, hair on the shower floor, fridge had old crumbs and bathroom had a small candy wrapper that was missed. Very dim hallways, felt like they were trying to hide the dirt. Shuttle in AM to airport was great. We opted for a taxi on the way in as we didn’t want to wait on shuttle since we just missed it. We were there during Oktoberfest so they gave out gingerbread hearts, that was a nice touch. Overall it was ok, they need more or new cleaning people and it would be great!

The property was clean and close to the airport. We stayed here for a layover flight so we were not there long. My only issue was they said the last shuttle left at 11:45pm however we were there at 11:30pm with a few other guest and the shuttle never came to get us to we took a cab together with another guest at 12:10am. Also The sign at the desk in the airport said the shuttle came 20 and 50mins after the hour which doesn’t match what the hotel shared.

Stayed at Nh Munich Airport hotel for two nights and greatly enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean, spacious, and very quiet, with a very comfortable bed (king room). There is a kettle and coffee machine in the room; tea packets are available as well as a welcome muffin. Excellent breakfast, with a great choice of vegetables, fruit, cereals, famous German sausages, pastry, etc. A shuttle bus runs every half an hour but needs to be booked in advance. If going to town, there is also a public bus stop nearby that takes you to the airport and S8 train. I do recommend this hotel for a short stay, if transiting with a day or two between flights.

The proximity to MUC airport is great, the shuttle service is convenient, once you figure out how it operates.
I liked their bar/restaurant, where I was able to have a good meal with a drink, and was able to have a relaxing evening prior to my departure the next day.
The room is generously sized, clean and the bathroom has everything one needs. Bonus: Coffemaker and good quality coffee capsules.
Thank you you NH for making my return trip easier!

2 star decent for a 1 night stay max. Hallways are so dark, room dark not a light on. Housecleaning knocked lightly then tried to enter. The deadbolt lock didn't work. I'm glad I was decent. Not clean, dusty, surface cleaning isn't cleaning. Ants and some other flying insect.
Personally i wouldn't stay again, safety advice everything,

Modern, clean and efficient. Convenient via a short taxi ride from the airport (costing about 20 euros). It is a bit annoying that the rooms don't provide any creamer with the coffee in the room, and no black tea or green tea (only herbal teas). when you arrive after a long flight it would be really nice to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. since a large proportion of visitors are from UK/USA (wanting creamer in coffee and black tea), or from Asia (wanting green tea or black tea) it is a bit of a downer to arrive tired and not be able to enjoy a hot drink. it seems no tooth brush or little tube of toothpaste is provided - again you have to buy a big tube of toothpaste for about 5 euros from the automated shop - knowing it will need to be thrown away the next day when you pass through boarding security. the hotel should consider what it's like to arrive after a long flight, your luggage already checked in overnight ready for the connection the next day, to find there is no toothpaste. Hotels in Asia and most Western countries provide these things, because it makes a difference to the quality of experience of travellers.

Nice enough spot if you need to be close to the airport - they charge 10th to per person for a 5-7 minute shuttle to the airport which seems steep. Pretty sure a cab would be cheaper if you’re with 2-3 others. Nothing around the hotel so eat before coming or you’ll be stuck with the overpriced onsite restaurant

It is a standard airport hotel. Check in took a little while as hotel full but staff dealt with it as efficiently as possible and did well under circumstances.
Room was ok. 2 lots of shampoo in shower but no shower gel. Limited food options as in industrial area, due to late flight we overslept for breakfast but not end of the world.
The shuttle leaves from Terminal 1 and the counter is inside down a corridor by the information desk. There are a number of transfer companies. NH is second desk on right from the exit doors.
Once found transport from friendly and quick.

I really appreciated the drinking water and glasses at the entrance as well as the free bottle of water in my room. The shuttle to the airport was convenient but it’s 10 Euros per person.

Pillows and bed were quite comfortable, and the driver was very helpful in the morning.
Debris on the floor upon arrival and there were a couple sticky spots on the floor.
Bathroom door blocked easy access to the toilet.
The sink stopper was closed, only allowing water to get backed up.

I had a single night layover in Munich and chose this hotel as I am familiar with the NH brand and I received precisely what I expected. The room was comfortable, clean and efficient and the hotel bar was a great place to spend a few hours relaxing before bedtime. For the price of the stay, you can’t beat an NH hotel. Finding the hotel shuttle bus was a bit of a challenge so I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel but bear in mine. You need to make reservations for the bus when you’re going back to the airport as it only sees nine people and fills up fast not a detractor if you know what you’re doing.

Not sure why this hotel was rated so high??? Staff needs supervision! Printer at the front desk did not work, the room was hot and way too noisy. At breakfast there was a spill in the main walk area that was not cleaned up. For the cost and extras like parking fees this was no where near worth it.

Meh - It was ok. Not what I expected.

Convenient distance from the airport. 45 minutes + a hotel shuttle (which you will be lucky to find in the airport) from Munich. Don't let the pictures fool you. There are no shops or restaurants near the hotel at all. To get anywhere, you need a car or the hotel shuttle. The hotel was ok, but not at the level I have come to experience from other NH hotels.

The shuttle service had a scheduled pick-up every 30 minutes starting at 3:30 or 4am which was very convenient! About a 5 minunte drive from the aiprort! Very close too.

No heat in the room and the control was not clear that it was an airconditioning only.
Unit was on when i arrived, reason for the room being so cold.
The controller dial only had a +/- sign. Is plus sign means colder or does it mean hotter? Once I called the front desk, i was informed that it is an A/C and to turn it off so that it stops cooling.

We stayed at this hotel in 2019. At the time, the hotel was clean and fine and seemed a bit outdated (1950s). When we returned in 2025, the hotel had done a complete upgrade and we were thrilled to be here. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

Other things I loved: The shuttle was super easy to find at the airport (and affordable at only 10 €). The coffee and croissants in the lobby were such a treat before leaving at 6 AM.

Great hotel but the hotel shuttle experience was very poor.

Arrived at the airport around 2245 and by the time I got to the desk for the hotel shuttle service it was 2315….i waited until midnight but NO shuttle turned up. I was forced to take a taxi for €20 to the hotel. At check-in the night manager apologised and gave me a free shuttle ticket back to the airport in the morning. Maybe the shuttle is more reliable during the daytime but late evening do not rely on it.
But thanks to the Hotel night manager for giving me free shuttle back to the airport the next day.

Extremely noisy because the reception and bar area do not have any carpeting or upholstery that would absorb noise. As a result everything echoes through to the upstairs rooms. We were on the 3rd floor and couldn’t sleep because obnoxious drunk people returning from a trade fair were drinking and shouting downstairs. At 2:30 am after we called reception several times we managed to get someone on the phone who thankfully managed to get the noise level down. Tge hotel is not far from the very picturesque town of Erding but there are other hotels in the area. We won’t be booking here again.

Airport shuttle bus was very useful! Note there is a pickup stop at Munich Terminal 1 and also Terminal 2 - when I enquired ahead of time I was only told about one stop and that inconvenienced me on arrival at the airport.
