Convenient if you have a car and want an overnight stay within walking distance of the city center. Comfortable bed, breakfast was decent but definitely no frills.
Bathroom biggest letdown - thin towels and can't understand why you would only have hair shampoo in the shower and no shower gel? Tried to ask for some at reception but nobody got back to me.

A nice hotel.

Nice hotel, even though opposite Dijon station, it was very quiet. Only a short walk into town. Very large car park, BUT it really, really needs a level walk way directly from the car park to the hotel, which is structurally possible. Restaurant was a bit disappointing in that on our first night we booked and had a nice meal. The second night we were refused a booking as the hotel had a \"large party\" in. Only to find later that the main restaurant was open to residents. Surely paying hotel customers should have first priority. Almost next door is the Botanical Gardens which are well worth a visit. I would stay there again at anytime.

We stayed for leisure for two days at this location. The hotel is on the edge of the historic district and easy walking to reach city attractions.
The hotel is comfortable and modern, zero complaints. The parking is free and easy to use. Seamless.
Had the best sleep in a month on their mattress.
Friendly staff, very efficient check-in. Very helpful.
Would stay here without any concern.

We stayed here one night en route to South of France. Ideally located to walk into Dijon for dinner. Booked two Triple rooms, which were close by. They were small and a double bed and a small pull out bed (not a full size single) but comfortable and okay for one night. Easy check in, and friendly staff.
Breakfast buffet was adequate, not much choice (and lack of staff!) and virtually nothing suitable for my gluten free daughter

First impressions count for everything and on this occasion they were unnecessary stress from the reception clerk who refused to accept that I had pre-paid for breakfast, despite being shown evidence of the expedia receipt. Particularly annoying was that he tried to trick me into paying again for breakfast when I was paying for the city tourist tax. Otherwise, this was an OK ibis in not the best location but does have parking included. It is a 15 minute walk to the centre to find good restaurants.

Good place to stay in Dijon!

The hotel is only 15 minutes walk to the old quarters in Dijon, so it was very convenient. The area around the hotel, across from the train station, is not bad, but we chose not to walk late at night the second day and parked in a garage closer to old town. The hotel is modern, the room was nice, small but had everything we needed. Breakfast was great! Free parking was nice to have!

The property is very well maintained, with a nice waiting area, excelent breakfast and decent size rooms with good soundproofing. My only complaints are that I would have liked a fridge in the room and that the location is in a part of town that seems a bit removed from everything. However it was conveniebt to the train station. I would return.

Very convenient for a stopover or a town visit. Walking distance to town, spacious car park-ideal especially if you travel with a roofbox or bikes. Extremly helpful and forthcoming staff, nothing is ever a problem. Very comfortable beds. All in all great, except for the smell of cigarettes on the first floor (I thought all rooms were non-smoking!)

Apart from the hot water not working on the first floor, the room was clean and spacious enough. Tried the restaurant for dinner; young service staff did all they could to please but the chef let them down. Very ordinary food so didn't bother with breakfast the next morning. Rooms and bathroom were very clean and well kept. Inside of hotel is well kept. It is opposite a main train station and train line but there is nothing around the hotel - no nice places to eat or drink. The hotel has a very limited food menu.

To get to and from hotel car park involves using a number of steep staircases which is difficult if you have suitcases.

Good for one night stopover.

Family of 5. We stayed here for 2 nights to break our journey to the French alps. Was basic & no frills but clean, friendly and a great location to explore Dijon - perfect for our 2 night/1 day stay. We noticed after check in that adjoining rooms were standard on our floor albeit we weren’t offered that despite being a family of 5. That would have improved our experience as we ended up being split a few rooms away. We were also charged for someone else’s dinner on the first evening - remember to ask for an itemised bill as this seemed to be a glitch with their system (staff were lovely about it and quickly refunded!). Some nice touches for families - like the toy area at breakfast and the games in the lobby. Good selection of food at breakfast too. Overall, would recommend.

The hotel is very nice, clean and right opposite the train station as we have wanted. The windows are doubled sound proof so you can’t really hear the noise from the train. However, it is a walk to the city center and there is not much around the hotel in terms of restaurants, shops and bars.

Decent. Cheap. Functional. Old building that has been tarted up to prolong its life. Pretty convenient - 15-20 mins walk to town centre. Very close to train station.

We chose it due to onsite parking, but preferred look of Ibis Styles in town centre.
Fine for quick pit-stop on way south. Dijon is a lovely place to stay.

Would be nice if they emptied bathroom bin of previous occupiers sanitary products.

We booked the room for three and had one extra child with us. They were very accommodating in getting us a conjoined room to make it more comfortable. Staff from the main reception, restaurant and housekeeping were very polite and friendly. The fact that the rooms have no carpet make a huge difference and they are very clean. The bathrooms could be cleaner but everything was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing, just like the service. It is a pity they don't have many vegetarian options but I was happy with my soup and the cheese platter afterwards. Breakfast was more than what we expected. So many options! Location was also good. Just a few minutes walk from the city.

We had booked breakfast inclusive. When we checked in the receptionist said that breakfast was not included for our 10 and 15 year old kids. No where on hotels.com did it mention this. Also, I find it weird that if I had booked as 4 adults, then breakfast would be included. The hotel charged me extra for the kids breakfast, which hotels.com refunded. The hotel is in a very good location with just a short walk to the train station and to the high street with all the restaurants and shopping.

Good base to explore Dijon!

A great hotel located behind the train station, so it's perfect for staying a night or two if passing through Dijon. There is not much around this area of the station, but it's quite and safe at night. There is a small restaurant up from the hotel towards the station and Would recommend eating there, although the centre of Dijon is only a short walk. We stayed during the 40c heatwave, and the air conditioner coped well! Staff are very friendly and speak English.

The location of this Ibis is not too far from the center of Dijon, if you know your way to get there. We followed the hotel clerk’s advice to take the tram but found out that the center was only one stop (less than 5 minutes walk). But you do need to find the train/ tram station to get to the city center quickly. Parking lot behind the hotel was large, and access was easy. The breakfast was satisfactory. Front clerk seems to be super busy with guest checkin and incoming calls. The front desk could easily use another clerk if the hotel wants to provide better service to all customers.

Good value hotel with parking included and easy to find, but the area it's in looks a bit run down. Disappointed there was no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Aircon and comfy bed, they let you take dogs. Don't bother with the breakfast, really disorganised set up with staff that don't engage with the guests. Short walk into historic centre via train station.

Don't expect anything from the staff

The hotel was fine - it was just a 2 night stay on way home from holiday, so nothing special but it did its job. Only 5 min walk into the town which was lovely. Unfortunately the reception staff and especially the restaurant staff were very reluctant to help. Reception booked a table for us at 7pm on our first night there, to save going out after a long day, but they didn't turn the lights on until 7.15 and then didn't acknowledge us until 7.30pm! Not a pleasant feeling to be unwanted! But a large free onsite car park which is why we stayed. Will definitely return to Dijon, but not to this hotel if I can help it.

Lovely one night stay

Stayed here after driving down the rhine valley after such amazing views the hotels quaint look and location finished an amazing drive. On check in you get a noce glass of fruit white wine from the hotels own vineyards (also available to purchase in there own shop opposite with 5% discount for around €9 a bottle, you just ask for the bola, the shop also sells other wine/whisky/liqeour some available to try). The room was two beds pushed together to make a double which worked fine and was clean, with a nice shower and toilet ensuite. Not a big room but we had 3 suitcases on the floor and enough room to walk around and not trip over. Parking is available up the hill in a payafter you’ve parked car park (cash/card). Only a short walk down hill to the rhine/square/shops/restaurants etc. The hotel had its own restaurant with a nice evening meal, local alcohol and a piano that plays itself for background music.

We stayed here because it is convenient for the railway station (it could not be closer). It was very basic but also clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is just a short walk away from the lovely centre of Dijon. I would stay here again.

Wont be back here. Property took pre-authorisation (which is fine) however almost a week later they haven't repaid me. Nonsense really. The pre-authorisation could very easily have been converted to the bill but instead they made me pay again.

Not impressed with this Ibis compared to many others we've used over the years - room was small and spartan even by Ibis standards, uncomfortable pillows, everything was pretty dated and could do with a complete overhaul, breakfast at an additional cost was basic and for €10 we might have expected fresh coffee rather than a machine that broke down. The pluses were free parking and only a 10 minute walk into town.

Overnight stay in Dijon en route back to UK from Italy. Very functional. Close to train station. Very handy car park at the back of the hotel. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable after a very long drive. No drinks facilities out of hours. After a long drive a cup of coffee or tea from a machine would have been welcomed! Overall, clean and adequate for our brief stay.
