Breakfast could have been a lot better. We arrived 45 mins before end of service and there were no scrambled eggs or bacon left and they were not replenished, nor was the fruit to go with the yoghurt or some of the cheese and ham. Room comfortable and clean though

Perfect stay in Dijon

We’ve been staying at the Ibis Clemenceau for years, but this was our first time on the 8th floor. Now the hotel is divided between the “budget” and regular sides. What a comfortable and spacious room there, with a huge bathroom. As always, the service was superb. Highly recommend the hotel.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I was happy to pay the parking charge for the convenience of being able to park securely with direct access to the hotel. it was an easy 10 minute walk to the lovely old town.
Overall, a great choice for the price.

Had a very nice stay at this hotel. We had no problem finding parking on the street close to the hotel so that we did mot have to pay to park in the parking garage. Disappointed that the hotel did not have a full restaurant, but the food we had on the limited menu that the hotel provided at the bar and for room service was pretty good.

This is a big modern Ibis hotel located just outside the historic centre of Dijon near a conference centre and as such is very much geared to the business traveller. However a twenty minute walk takes you into the heart of the old city where there are great shops, lots of bars, cafes and restaurants and a real feel of France. If you're on a leisure trip, it's a good clean, convenient place to stay.

Shame about the reception staff on 3rd June

The hotel is newly decorated, the rooms are not super small like other Ibis hotels. The bed was really comfy, we had a wonderful night sleep, and the shoer was fantastic. All the staff working on 4th June were fantastic, but the 2 staff working at the reception on 3rd June clearly looked like they didn't like staying there: no smiles, eye contact avoidance and minimum communication let us down.

Easy, no-stress hotel for short stay

Right next to Tram T1 stop 'Auditorium', with very frequent trams to Dijon Gare and Darcy (for Dijon centre). The hotel sells tram/bus passes. Comfortable, good size room for an ibis. Good wifi and quiet in the night time.

Budget hotel does not mean budget cleaning.

Booked a budget hotel so we are not expecting 5-Star luxury but the carpets were dirty throughout the floor, something you notice as soon as you step out of the lift.
In the room we had a single bed as well as the double as we were travelling with our baby and had specified this; as an aside, a full size single bed is no good for a 2 month old baby so why ask us to specify then provide something unsuitable?
I can not blame the hotel for not providing a crib as we had not asked for one - we would have been happy for her to sleep in her pram.
Anyway, the second bed hinges down from the wall. In looking for a plug socket I made the mistake of looking under the spare bed and was greeted by a blanket of dust at least 1 cm thick - genuinely disgusting.
There were also stains and hairs on the towels provided.

Booked double room, non smoking, but were given a room with two single beds. When we asked for another room with a double bed we were informed all double bed rooms are smoking! We swapped rooms but the room did smell of smoke. Usual Ibis standard and the price reflects this. Would not take a smoking room again. Front office staff were friendly and spoke English.

Location was slightly our of town but near enough to restaurants in Place de la Republique.
Found a magnificent restaurant in the Place de la Republique called "Cafe de Bourgogne" serving the most wonderful cordon blue food - highly recommended.

Good simple hotel

A great, simple hotel within 15 minutes walk of the centre of Dijon.

If arriving by car, head straight to the car park as you cannot stop in front of the hotel. There is reserved parking for €6.50 per day and an entrance directly from floor -1.

The staff were friendly. The parking reasonable. The hotel was clean and has a good shower. Everything worked as it should.

Walking back from the old own at night was a little creepy as quite quiet and the road not that well lit.

Perfect.

Ibis hotel Dijon was just about perfect for us. We have a 1 year old daughter and the rooms were perfect for us. It was a 10 minute walk to the city centre was we didnt mind at all. Clean and big enough to fit the cot and not feel enclosed. We've been in a few hotels where there is no space after putting in the cot. Our only real complaints are that we ordered a small pasta dish just for our daughters dinner and we were charged for a full adult dinner and i wouldnt be happy paying that much if i had ordered it for myself. The 2nd complaint is that the hotel organised a wine tasting tour which we felt wasn't very good value for money... These were two very minor details, I would still recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really Clean and Functional.

Really pleasantly surprised. A two star hotel, but the room was extremely clean, functional, attractive and pleasant to be in. Didn't have a lot of extras like shampoo and sewing kits but often you bring your own anyway and those things become superfluous and something you're paying for. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with some appetising extras. A bit out of the centre, about 10 mins walk but with a car or walk no problem. Staff very helpful and available. Would defintely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Best Ibis I have stayed in (and I've stayed in a few).
Lovely new hotel, much better standard than I'd expect for the price, very fashionable, clean and helpful staff.
Only slight complaint is that its not as close to the centre as they suggest, but its only a 10min walk through nice streets, so would definitely stay there again.

We arrived very late after a long day of driving. The hotel was clean and great bed. There was construction going on outside so the sidewalk was messy. We slept, got up and headed for Paris, did not have much time to spend at this hotel. It was a nice stop over and had underground parking, with no cost!

Rent og praktisk hotell med god standard for en natt på gjennomreise. Kort avstand til gamlebyen.
Renhold var veldig bra og fin utsikt fra vinduet. Gode senger. Rommet var litt i minste laget, men funker for en natt.

Trekk for helt forferdelig frokost med svært lite utvalg. Ikke en gang baguetten var spiselig.

Hôtel propre et très bien situé a 15mn du centre a pied. Salle de bain en plastique peu accueillante, ventilation trop bruyante et impossible a couper sans arrêter le chauffage. Le petit déjeuner était aussi en dessous des standard avec du personnel trop surchargé provoquant un quasi vide dans les présentoirs. ( Manque de pain et viennoiserie) . Certe il y avait beaucoup de monde ( équipe de sport, vacancier vers les stations de ski) mais cela était prévisible.

Service moyen ; pas de thé ou café en chambre ou à la réception ; un peu décevant pour une nuité à 120€.
Pas vraiment de place dans la chambre pour placer sa valise, mais literie confortable.
Petit-déjeuner le dimanche matin déplorable, buffet vide alors que c'est l'heure du rush à 9h30. Pourtant il y avait bien 3 personnes.
Le bâtiment partage aussi un Ibis Budget ; on se demande où est la différence.
Je suis habitué à mieux chez Ibis.

Côté chambre, séjour agréable, fidèle à Ibis. La chambre est propre et de taille convenable. La salle de bain est sommaire mais correcte, avec juste le gel douche et les serviettes.
Par contre, la restauration de dépannage n'est vraiment pas à recommander car le rapport qualité/prix n'y est pas. Le petit déjeuner express à 6 € comporte une tasse de boisson chaude, un mini-croissant peu goûteux et un petit verre de jus d'orange. Il vaut mieux , et de très loin, prendre le buffet à 12 € quand on a le temps.

Πάρα πολύ καθαρό κατάλυμα,με τις απαραίτητες ανέσεις!Το πάρκινγκ ήταν δίπλα που επικοινωνούσε όμως με πόρτα του ξενοδοχείου και έτσι δεν χρειαζόταν να βγαίνεις εκτός για να πας στο πάρκινγκ.Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν η όχι και τόσο καθαρή είσοδο σε αντίθεση με τα δωμάτια.Αδικουσε όλο το ξενοδοχείο.Οταν φτάνει ένας επισκέπτης στον προορισμό του και έχει κάνει έρευνα για ένα καθαρό ως επί το πλείστον χώρο, άνετο και αξιοπρεπέστατο μόλις αντικρύζει την είσοδο ατελητη και γεμάτη σκουπίδια προβλητιζεται.δεν απαιτείται πολύς χρόνος....ένα απλό σκούπισμα.!!

Une nuit en chambre double et petit-déjeuner passée au calme. Excellente literie. Hygiène impeccable. Petit-déjeuner frais et assez diversifié. Les hôtels Ibis et Ibis Budget partagent le même bâtiment, en fait ils se répartissent les étages. On s'en rend compte avec les différentes couleurs affichées sur les boutons d'ascenseur. Je pense donc que le petit-déjeuner était commun aux 2... Un seul petit regret: 1 seul drap de douche/personne dans la salle de bain, pas de petites serviettes.
