Quick, efficient check-in by a pleasant member of staff. Room was simply furnished and rather compact; yet clean and quiet. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the hot water was plentiful. At a reasonable price and just a few paces from the train station, what more can one expect? Would certainly stay here again.

Great location with parking just outside Old town

The underground parking lot is next to the hotel (€15 per night) and reception staff allowed us to stay there till 2pm after checkout. The hotel entrance could be more clearly signed from carpark. The double room was small but clean. The venetian blind inside the window couldn't be adjusted but there was a long curtain. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was quite quiet. Useful to have a kettle in the room. Use of the pool and spa (open from 10am 10pm) was a nice surprise, ashame the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. I enjoyed the jacuzzi and sensory shower. Only a short walk to the old town.

The Kyriad offer parking but lack the information to book the parking as only 12 spaces available. The shower was possibly the worst shower ever encountered (it was hot, so at least that was ok) but shower head useless. Didnt stay up and flopped down so you had to hold it all the time and the shower was like a hose as the head was either clogged or just didn't work. The aircon was ok but cant direct the flow so you cant really feel it and the windows are doubled glazed which helped with the noise. I stuffy room and rather small

I found the staff very helpful and pleasant. We parked nearby as the hotel’s lot was full; everything was fine. It was a bit stuffy in the room and the a/c didn’t work. We opened the window and it was surprisingly not noisy, even though we were facing the train station.

The location is perfect and the staff is very nice. The only issue is the cleanness. The pool is dirty and there is broken tiles all over the saunas. There was a lot of black mold in the room’s bathroom and there is no mini fridge in the room.

Upon arrival we were told to not park in their garage but 1/2 mile away due their garage full, despite no smoking signs at our room the hallway and room smelled badly , room very tiny almost Japanese like. Glad to leave early after after one night with also big dogs like s German sheppard allowed in Hotel and bar area

Room were bit small as we had lot of luggage. But receptionist guy was very kind and upgraded us to bigger room free of charge.

Stayed here for a few nights on a recent work trip. Ideally located by the train station and just a short walk to the bars/restaurants for the evening. Pool and spa are a great addition, just disappointing it doesn’t open until 10am so no pre work swim possible. Nice in the evening though. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable, I was a solo traveller so for me the size was fine, just cosy if you are a couple.

Reasonably priced hotel and great location, 2 minute walk to train and bus depot, 5/10 minute walk to main town centre. Room slightly on the small size but to be expected for a city centre hotel, however spotlessly clean. Underground car park at additional cost very convenient but quite difficult if you have a larger size car as the driveway down is narrow and the car park is quite small can be difficult to manoeuvre if a few cars are already down there.
I would recommend this hotel for a city break and would stay here again.

We often stay in this hotel on our way back home to Canada. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and the rooms, although tiny, are very comfortable. My only complaint was the internet. We had a room at the end of the hall and the internet was often unavailable, or extremely slow. This is the first time that we have experienced this. Room 401.

The hotel was within walking distance of the bus and train station so it was very convenient. Check in was a breeze. Although the room was compact, it had all the necessities including a kettle. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the room clean. We were only there for a night so we didn't take advantage of the bar or the gym/indoor pool. We were also able to leave our luggage for the day and visit Dijon before our evening train.

I had a great stay here - good service, amazing location, comfy bed, hot shower, and very neat pool area. The room was quite small but was fine for me because I was on my own. Everything was quite clean but there were a couple areas for improvement (i.e., the phone had a decent layer of dust on it and the doors could use a good wipe-down). The location of my room was nice - even though it overlooked the train tracks, it was very quiet and I slept well, and it was a lovely view. The elevator was out of service during my stay, which was no issue for me but might be good to know in advance if people have mobility limitations. There was a breakfast option but I did not try it during my stay. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

hotel has a good location, almost across from train station, good quality breakfast buffet and attentive staff in the breakfast room; small room, very weak and unstable WiFi, good selection of international TV channels, no fridge, no safe in the room; bathroom had a shower inside the bathtub, not ideal stepping in/out of it, some of the Front Desk staff seemed stressed and not always patient/pleasant with guests (I witnessed a few cases). Overall an OK hotel in Dijon

2 Night Stay in a Shoebox

The hotel staff was good. location also good for visiting central Dijon, paid breakfast was good and it has a nice swimming pool but I would never stay there again. The double twin room we had was the smallest I ever had in Europe or Japan, including the bed. 2 people was a crowd in this room. The toilet was crammed into a corner and it was a tight fix and unconformable. The WiFi is horrible and didn't work most of the time and when it did, it was very slow and not usable. Also, being an older hotel, insulation is not good against internal sound. For me and my wife, the bad here outweighed the good.

The staff behind the counter were very pleasant and accommodating however the hotel left a great deal to be desired. Clean enough but the room wasn't much bigger then a closet and was difficult to move around with luggage. I requested 2 twin beds - what I got was one twin and one bed slightly smaller then a twin to accommodate the size of the room. Wasn't impressed with the breakfast which was somewhat sub-level. Location literally across the street from the trains. Can't say they woke me up but while in the room you were aware they were there. Loved Dijon and refused to let the quality of the hotel bother us however never again.

The hotel was in a great location for me as it close to the train station and also close Fo sight seeing in Dijon.
I enjoyed the swim in the hotel pool available for guests. Althought the hotel also had a gym available it was on the small side.

3 nights in Dijon

we enjoyed our stay in Dijon...and the hi-light was renting bikes and riding along the canal...and we stopped at one of the lock houses for lunch that was a spectacular day. As well we did the Owl walk around the old town and this was very informative and you get to see allot of the town. and another day we took the train to Bauone.

The hotel is located almost next to the train station which is very convenient for travellers relying on public transport.

I've always loved Dijon and went to visit after not being there for many years with my college age daughter. I chose this hotel because of closeness to train which was very convenient. The hotel is very clean with tiny rooms. We decided to forgo \"fitness\" room because of musty dark basement quarters and giant spider on wall. One front desk person was very nice. Two weren't. I would go back just because of price and convenience.

Great location across from the train station

The hotel was comfortable and the staff helpful. We were able to store our bags till check in and the centre of the city is just a five minute walk. Our room was small but comfortable and clean. Also it was quiet which is very important for us. There was also a pool and a large breakfast area. However, breakfast is not included and a less expensive breakfast is easy to find near by.

I booked the day before arriving, and was pleasantly surprised by both the location and the amenities in the room. The location is not scenic, but convenient to the train station and centre ville, and any noise from the nearby trains and tram was mostly muted. Considering I only slept there, it was great.

We stayed here as part of a last minute trip to France and were a little concerned about some of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. We rented a car and drove from Paris to Dijon and dropped it off at the train station right across the road. Great proximity to the rail station and without a lot of night noise. Yes, both the bedroom and the bathrooms are small, but functional. The bed was a little hard for my liking but still acceptable. The shower could use a place to put shampoos etc. The hotel is located about a 5 - 10 minute walk to a lot of restaurants and shops. We were very pleased with our hotel choice.

Needed a hotel close to the train station just for one night. This hotel fits the bill very well. The check-in and check-out took about 2 seconds in total. we stayed in this hotel in early Jan 2014, its okay for one night but wouldn't stay any longer. rooms are tiny, very cramped for 2 people and the bed is rather uncomfortable. the shower goes hot to cold frequently. the bread at breakfast tasted stale and there wasn't much to choose from. the hotel is opposite the train tracks but we didn't hear trains while in our room which was good. the staff are lovely and helpful, and its only a 5 minute walk into the township for restaurants and shopping. would stay here again, but bring another pillow for comfort!

Hotel was very close to the central train station which is always good and the station surrounds area was fairly tidy (some stations in Europe can be a bit run down with homeless people). There are 2 Kyriad hotels very close to each other. Hotel was a nice 5 minute stroll into center of town. Room was quite small but considering we didn't have suitcases it wasn't an issue. Very lovely & quaint view from our room of the rooftops. Wifi was good quality. Pretty basic but good value & fine for a few days of sightseeing :) Pool looked very fancy.. kind of wished we had bought our bathers! Didn't have the breakfast (wished it was included)

We loved Dijon, and the hotel was situated close to the station and Tourist Office so I could buy my \"owl booklet\"! We loved following the owl trails (we did all the loops too!!!) and visited so much in just 2 days! We 'dipped' into most museums as they were all free (except le puits de Moise). Super visit. Really appreciated the pool for a relax.

Close to must-see sights and train station

The hotel was clean, very accessible to sights, and very convenient when arriving/leaving by train. The room and bathroom were newly remodeled. I asked and got a room that wasn't facing the train tracks, so I have no complaints about noise. As others have stated, the room was small, but it's not my living room, and it was more than sufficient for my needs. My only complaint is that the wifi signal was weak in most parts of the room.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we will stay again. It's comfortable and modern in a great location for taking the train. It also has a pool and a sauna that we did not try out.
The pedestrian section of town is right around the corner and you are across the street from the train station and one block from the beautiful new trams. Slippery shower, and no kleenex, but those are the only complaints. Free WIFi, air-conditioning and windows that open.

Comfortable budget hotel

The hotel is small (as per European norms) but well laid out and comfortable. It is within 3 minutes walking distance of the Gare Centrale of Dijon, which was the prime factor in my chosing it! Having said that, the overal experience was positive, and I could recommend it for anyone seeking a reasonably-priced, clean, safe hotel.

L’hôtel est très vieillissant et ne correspond pas vraiment à la description annoncée. Le spa indiqué ne fonctionne pas. La douche est extrêmement petite et le pommeau ne fonctionnait pas correctement. De plus, le matelas est de très mauvaise qualité, ce qui rend le sommeil peu confortable.
Le petit-déjeuner est cher pour ce qui est proposé : beaucoup de produits sont disponibles en très petites quantités et, lorsqu’il n’y en a plus, ils ne sont pas forcément réapprovisionnés. Au final, on paie un petit-déjeuner sans pouvoir vraiment en profiter.
Pour ma part, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel. Il y en a plusieurs autres à proximité qui sont largement meilleurs.

Très bien situé ,face de la gare , 10 mns à pied du centre-ville, EXCELLENT SPA, chambre pas tres grande mais avec tout le confort, petit déjeuner parfait, dirigée par une dame très gentille qui veille que les tables soit nettoyée après le départ de chaque personnes tout en prenant soin de rapporter des croissants bien chaud quand le buffet se vide.
Un grand merci à lAgnesse et sa collègue à la réception, qui après une erreur de réservation de ma part, on tout fait pour réarranger la date de mon séjour.
Parking à €15 la nuit , très sécurisé.

L'hôtel offre un service de bagagerie. J'ai donc laissé mon sac à dos dans un placard à côté de la réception. Malheureusement ce placard n'est pas surveillé et quelqu'un a ouvert mon sac et volé des effets, dont mon chargeur de téléphone.

L accueil et le personnel très sympathique et souriant. La propreté de l hôtel en général. La chambre est tout de même très petite et de ce fait le lit (140 cm) ainsi que la sdb, elle est bien décorée, cela suffit pour un court moment. Le déjeuner est bien copieux, la salle de restauration agréable. Le SPA est super, hammam, sauna, douche sensorielle et jacuzzi, la piscine ne fonctionnait pas mais elle est assez grande (dommage de prendre les serviettes de la chambre). L emplacement est très pratique. Un bon choix d hôtel.
