It was a very old and dirty apartment which needed refurbishment 20 years ago. The smell was gross. The carpets disaster and the sofa literally belonged to the street. The bed and sheets were clean, so was the toilet. We arrived very late (5am) check-in was very simple but I wouldn’t have stayed if it was day time.

The only staff we saw in the morning was a young lady at the reception. She was very kind. We were late for breakfast (which we paid for) she offered a refund but wasn’t able to do it. Still we got coffee and croissants from here.

I don’t think that we will ever visit again.

This property was over priced; worn, dirty carpets, stains everywhere. Our toilet broke in the evening but we didn’t have anyone to contact about it. Would not recommend this at all. We couldn’t wait to leave. Luckily it was just an overnight stop.

Basic No frills apartment

Ok so yes the apartment does need updating ,it was basic and there were a few stains on the carpets BUT it was clean & had clean sheets and towels .location was fine on the outskirts of dijon. Easy to fine.found a gem of a restaurant 5 minutes walk away . Staff were helpful, parking was no problem in their carpark. No frills but £150 for the night for 5 of us we can't complain. One thing,check what time the desk closes for check in 🙂

Cheap and a little bit nasty

The bed was comfortable, but that’s about it. It was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for, but the carpet in the bedroom was so disgusting that I couldn’t bring myself to put my bare feet on it. And it has a little kitchen, but nothing to cook with. Not a single pot or pan, not even a kettle. So the kitchen was a complete waste. The shower head didn’t have anything to hang/hook onto, so you just had to hold it. Made washing your hair very difficult! It’s in a sort of industrial area, and only about a 10 min walk to the tram station to get into town. I’m not sure I would stay here again

Fantastic for price

Bright, clean spacious one bedroom apartment with balcony. Some scuffs on walls and shower has to be held but everything else was excellent, really clean beds, bathroom and kitchen.This was a really good find. I would love to stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE - WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER SEEN

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked and paid for an apartment on hotels.com. When I arrived, the receptionist at check in was extremely rude and unfriendly. She gave us our key and we started taking our belongings to the apartment. When we opened the door, a strong mold smell hit us. The floors were filthy, so much that I wouldn't let my kids take their shoes off. My daughter sat on the edge of the sofa bed that had been made up and the whole bed flipped over because the supports underneath were broken or missing. We went upstairs to see the bedrooms and it smelled like rotten food and made me feel like I was going to throw up. The carpets were as stained and dirty as the first floor and made my skin crawl. Within 5 minutes we determined that the apartment was uninhabitable and went back to the reception to get our money back and leave to find another hotel. The receptionist completely dismissed our complaints and told us that it wasn't her job to make us happy and give us a room we liked. Her behavior was appalling. As we were checking out, 3 other families with kids that had checked in around the same time came to the reception to leave as well. They had the same complaints about their rooms and wanted their money back as well. Not only did we lose $177 on the apartment, we had to pay another hotel a similar amount to get a decent room for the night. From what I have been told so far, we won't get our money back. I feel that is extremely poor cust

An option to stay near Dijon

A residence type lodging in a business park North of Dijon.
A big Carrefour shopping mall is a big plus to sweeten the stay. Since the location in the business park there is no staff at the reception all the time. You have to call in from your cell(possible roaming charge) to get the keys from the safe box, but it is OK and worked fine. Wifi is not free and you need a password for 2E per night, but the phone service can not give us the pass. So we were without Wifi. And as a next surprise was a parking fee during check out(small 3E/night), though it was advertised as free. Generally the hotel meets 2* even 2.5* , and I rate it 3 out 5 OK.

We arrived at 3.30pm , check in was 4pm, there was no staff available just a phone number to enable us to get our key out of a locked safe on the outside wall of an office. We were unable to get WiFi because there was no one there to talk to to set it up. The room had damaged furniture and the bed was to firm. The rooms are part of a complex where people live full time so it wasn't a plesant area and we felt a little unsafe as there was no one we could liase with on site. This should be classed as a hostel not an hotel.

Good overnight stay at Park & Suites

Good hotel - good value for an overnight stay while driving through France. This was the second time we stayed at this property when driving between Brussels and Lyon. Comfortable, easy check-in and convenient location.

Run down and dirty place

Our apartment was dirty and poorly equipped. First thing, we had to wash all dishes as they were not cleaned for long time. The water kettle was so unbelievably dirty with a pile of rust flakes in it representing a hazard for any user's health. The furniture is old, paint missing, scratches everywhere, a non maintained place.
Comfort was minimal, for example, the bathroom had one hook for one towel. This is in a two room apartment for 4 people! There are many other things, which we didn't like. The list is too long!
The reception consists of an open safe, where 10 - 15 envelopes are located with your name on and everybody could take whatever key he/she wants. Security sounds differently to me. No receptionist on weekends or evenings.

PS. I had to rate the hotel staff, but there was none!

We had an apartment with two double beds. It was safe, clean and basic. At night it was quiet and the manager who booked us in and out was very very nice. I would recommend this place for an overnight stop rather than for a week away.

We stayed one night on our way to the South of France and it served it's purpose. The room was in need of decoration and the communal areas were dark, dingy and dirty. The main problem was the bed extremely uncomfortable with a very old mattress, it sagged in the middle into a sort of U shape. The hotel is in the middle of a business area and as it was a bank holiday nothing was open and we had to drive into the centre of Dijon to get a meal.

Good stopover, put of the way, basic

Room was clean and tidy and large. Utensils and dishes etc provided were greasy and no dish cloth or wash soap was provided for cleaning them or for the dishwasher. Had to wash everything before we could use it.

The apartment/room was fine. Of concern is that our confirmation email said we had to be there to pick up a key by 7pm. We were there at 630pm but the office was closed. On the notice board it said that the office closed at 1pm on a Saturday. NO WHERE in our email was this mentioned! We had no phone so had to ask a stranger to borrow their phone to get the key code for the safe. This could have been really bad for us if we were not able to get our key. The confirmation email needs to say weekend office times. Also, yes there is Internet in the room, but ONLY wired Internet, so I couldn't use my iPad or iPhone... I am not travelling with a computer so we couldn't use the Internet at all. Also, PLEASE can you put up a hanging thing in the shower for the shower? Having to hold it the whole time is ridiculous! Having said all that, it was a good apartment for us.

Only if your budget is tight. Go elsewhere.

Kind of a dumpy place. Least expensive room for 4 available at the time.
No reception open on Saturday afternoon at arrival. Must call the phone number on the door to get access code to mailbox to get your key.
Later in the evening people milling around in the parking lot . Not very reassuring from a safety perspective. Wont stay there again.

Had problems accessing my room. My French is 'get by' French and having read the notice, I needed to call a mobile number. The reply was in rapid French with no chance of my understanding it. Our stay started on a Saturday and the reception was closed. In desperation I telephoned a friend who in turn called the number and called me back. The accommodation was okay and suited our needs. Close to Dijon and the vineyards, but also in the middle of an industrial area.

Struggling to see the benefit over a hotel

As a family of 4 with young(ish) children we booked this instead of a hotel for the benefits of having more space and a kitchen. In reality it was smaller than the hotel room we had in Calais and the kitchen is a box. It was very well priced though so no arguments there. The sofa bed which made up the second bed was marginal really - not great to sleep on. The furniture and decor is sparce and a little dated (typical of French hotels though). The parking is free though and there is a supermarket not that far away. Dont think Id stay again but then i think our expectations were a little too high as serviced apartments are much better in the UK. Set your expectations correctly and you'll be fine though.

Good for 1 or 2 nights' stay if you have a car and family. Enough space for 4 adults. Cooking facilities adequate but missing a few essentials e.g. kettle. Laundry opposite reception reasonable value and very handy. Close to supermarket (that closes early 7:30pm). Staff helpful and spoke French,English & German. In industrial area but close enough to main centre. Roadworks for trams made driving a nightmare even with GPS - every major road was changed and in poor condition. Our ceiling had evidence of a major leak so lucky it wasn't raining.

The hotel room we had worked very well for our family of 5. We had one issue though, after checking in at 1630 we left to walk to the mall up the road. Upon our return at 1830 we ate and attempted to take showers, but there was no HOT water! By then the staff had left for the evening and we had no one to contact. Fortunately there was hot water in the morning. I would recommed this place for the bargain seeker.

Not bad for price!

Rated 2 stars but nice for the price. Clean, spacious for 4. Not much variety on cable tv. No wi-fi. Laundry room adjacent to front office. Bring your own detergent in case the autofill one doesnt work. Costs 3.50 euros per wash and 1 euro per 15 mins for dryer. Gym is small. Hotel is conveniently located near shopping mall and grocery store. No shower hose mount. No AC but not needed in early June. Microwave, dishwasher but no dishwashing liquid provided, stove/oven, fridge. Ants everywhere if u dont clean up immed after eating.

Park & Suites Confort Dijon - good for stopover

The room was clean and well-sized and perfect for an overnight stopover, since hotel rooms often will not accommodate a family of 4. It was reasonably located, provided you don't want to be near the City centre although it was a little difficult to find in the middle of a business park and we only stumbled upon it by chance. The bed was possibly the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in - rock hard - so I didn't get that much sleep, but i would still stay there again because of the convenience and good value.

One thing to watch out for is that we booked a 2-bedroom apartment but turned up to be told the previous occupants had extended their stay (as an apart'hotel, they do have longer term residents). They offered us two 1-bed apartments but we couldn't take that due to the kids' ages, so they stayed on a sofa bed in the apartment which was fine for a day (in fact the bed was more comfortable than ours!), but would have been a disappointment for a longer stay.

L’appartement est au delà de nos attentes, spacieux.
On sent malgré tout le poids des années qui commence à se sentir, au niveau de l’aménagement, des radiateurs notamment.
Seuls points négatifs: pas de torchons ni produit pour la vaisselle, et la tv n’est pas dans la chambre(selon nos habitudes)

L’appartement etait propre et calme, tres fonctionnel. J’aurais aimé avoir davantage de matériel dans la cuisine, une balai pour passer au moins un petit coup par terre car ça se salit rapidement.
Dans la salle de bain ce n’etait pas logique, le pare baignoire n’etait pas du coté du robinet de douche du coup on inonde la salle de bain.

Nous avons passé une bonne nuit dans cet appart’city. Seulement, l’établissement était censé être non fumeur, et pourtant, les espaces communs (hall + escaliers) empestaient le tabac. L’odeur commençait meme à envahir la chambre… Horrible pour des personnes qui ne fument pas… Nous en avons parlé à l’accueil et la réceptionniste n’a pas semblé surprise…

Had a reservation for family of six, with 3 children. Made months before arrival. We travelled for almost 10 hours by car. First we received a message by email that our room was ready and that the hotel was looking forward to our arrival. An hour later we received a cancellation! We were half an hour from the hotel, so upon arrival there seemed to be no mistake: our reservation was cancelled. A family of 5 came in just before us, and also their room was cancelled. Hotel was fully booked and they couldn't do anything for us. They blamed the double booking / mess up with the booking on the worldwide IT failure several weeks earlier. This hotel has no consideration at all for family with kids. Our family and the other one had to look for an alternative. NEVER AGAIN Aparthotel!!!

Une très mauvaise expérience. Le duplex était sale, vétuste et mal entretenue.
La moquette à l’étage était très abimée avec de multiples auréoles.
Les murs des chambres étaient sales avec des traces de moustiques écrasées. Le linge de lit très sommaire.
L’ensemble de l’appartement sentait l’humidité.
Les coussins du canapé au rez de chaussée était troué et poussiéreux.
La cuisine était sale également notamment le micro onde et la poubelle.
Nous avons préféré reprendre la route plutôt que d’y dormir…

L’hôtel ne répond jamais et n’a pu nous confirmer que l’on pouvait arriver tard le soir, le personnel nous a nargué par message en nous disant qu’ils étaient trop occupé à préparer notre hébergement alors je les avais contacté à 15h. Établissement à fuir surtout si vous êtes sur la route et que vous avez des enfants. J’aurais été seul j’aurais tenté d’y aller mais là avec les enfants c’était trop risqué car ils ne répondaient ni au téléphone ni par message

Chambre en très mauvais état, avec une odeur insupportable de vieux chien mouillé. La moquette dans la chambre est d'un autre temps... sale, avec des énormes tâches qui n'ont jamais été nettoyées. Mobilier tout tâché également. Murs sales partout et écaillé par endroit. Quelques moisissures dans la salle de bain. Et pour finir, matelas inconfortable. Malgré la perte d'argent, on a préféré partir avant la fin de notre séjour réservé et payé en avance à un prix qui laisse espérer beaucoup mieux. En résumé, cet hôtel est à fuir absolument !

Das Zimmer war verreuchert, nur noch nach Zigaretten gestunken. Meine Frau nicht raucher und 2 kleine Kinder..
Für deutsche Gäste keine anspächsperson, nur französische Sprache.

Bei Ankunft war niemand da, hat stunde gedauert bis wir auf dem Zimmer waren.

réveillé toute la nuit par des bruits de canalisations, parking payant 3.5 euro pour la camera mais parking pas fermé et sinon gratuitement mais le long de la route , sinon le personnel est au top, accueillant et avec le sourire .

Hôtel correct, mais il faut être équipé...

Personnel accueillant et appartement propre, mais pas assez équipé côté cuisine (nombre de tasses, verres, couverts etc. par rapport au nombre de personnes acceptées dans l'appartement).

Alles war Sauber, Frühstück ok weiter kein Essen möglich aber eine Küche war vorhanden, da es ausserhalb ist muss ein Auto vorhanden sein, für uns zur durchreise war es prima.

Accommodatie was prima. We arriveerden later waardoor we onze sleutel uit een kluis konden halen ook top geregeld alleen het ontbijt viel tegen

Nous avons trouvé l'appartement facilement. Il y a un parking devant chaque immeuble. Le lieu est spacieux et lumineux. La salle de bain suffisamment confortable pour les personnes en difficulté.
Le bureau et la table carrée, genre table sallon range dessous, sont de très bonne qualité. Un peu lourd pour déplacer la petite table pour s'asseoir et mettre les jambes sous le bureaux. Mais n'importe quelle personne en bonne santé peut le faire.
Rien à dire sur les environs, car notre séjour n'est qu'une étape pour un long voyage.
L'accueil est bien organisé, même pour un dimanche. La clé se trouve dans une enveloppe et on remet un code pour ouvrir un coffret à l'extérieur. Le personnel est très agréable, que ce soit au téléphone pour information préalable ou lors de la remise des clés.
Appart'City est vraiment un hôtel à recommander où que vous alliez.
