The property was okay but its proximity to other things was not great. It is an older building and the staff was okay. Outside the hotel was three dining places and a 7/11. No bars or clubs were in walking distance and a taxi is needed to go anywhere else. There is no pool or hot tub. It’s affordable and quaint.

For any of my foreigners, in order to get the lights to work you need to put your room key in a slot right as you come in the door. After going to another place to stay, I see that this is the norm. There is plenty of places to eat nearby in a convenience store right next door. Not going to lie the area looks a little shady but we had no problems. The front desk staff was very helpful and used his phone to communicate

Very cute, cozy and friendly staff! I wish I stayed here long time ago! Quiet area, thick walls, everything worked, comfy beds, clean, although yes there are stains on bathroom floors but for the price it's expected. Complimentary water bottles in each room, heating kettle, hair dryer. Put the room key in slot near the entrance to turn everything on. I love it!

The staff was very kind,friendly and efficient.He used the google translate and I was able to address all my needs.He helped me book a big taxi the next day.The room was big and clean.They provided shampoo,conditioner and body wash .I purchased a kit with toothpaste for 1,000 won which was fairly priced.Don’t forget to put the card in the wall to turn on the power.They were close to the beach ,I did not have the time to explore since I just needed an overnight stay from the airport.They are 10 minutes away.I highly recommend this hotel to tourists like me.

Hotel is pretty old and the conditions reflect that, at least the room I stayed in felt like it’s probably been the same for the past couple decades. Honestly, for the price that’s perfectly fine. And for what I needed it was enough for a night. If you don’t mind walking about 15-20 min there are tons of restaurants and cafes along the beach! If not, there are convenience stores nearby.

The room was very small it was very dirty the shower have mold due very nasty the bed sheets had blood stains and yellow stains I asked for them to change it at first they try saying that it just stains and trying to avoid to change the sheets.

The pictures on Expedia do not represent reality. The building is old, the air conditioner is noisy, the room has only one small window, so you can choose between not sleeping for the noise or for the heat. My bed linens were dirty. I found out all this right away and requested a refund. The hotel Manager refused to give it to me saying it was a non refundable fee. I wish I could upload pictures.

The service was excellent. The cleanliness was the best bud ever seen. I picked this place due to its proximity to a maglev train station. However, the train was out of service and I had to use a taxi. Between pictures and my rusty Korean, I got here ok, but would’ve preferred the train.

1. The property is walking distance to metro lines 5&6 from where one can travel to any point in Tianjin.
2. Cabs are waiting right outside if one wants to take a cab.
3. Front desk staff are extremely helpful and work to resolve any issue immediately.
4. Room is clean, quiet and spacious.
5. Morning breakfast in hotel is decent. If one is missing traditional Tianjin breakfast those shops are also close by as well.
All in all this is a great value for all of our needs without paying excessive money. 5-stars*****.

Made the reservation last minute from ICN airport after our international flight had a mechanical issue.
Contacted hotel directly about the shuttle. Addressed me by name! I had JUST made the reservation 10 minutes before. Van arrived 20 mins later with clear instructions on where to meet it.
Hotel was super clean, great bed, adorable & charming room.
Delicious HUGE breakfast.

I used to stay at this hotel a few years in a row during my summer trips (2005-2010), my mother also would regurarly stay there in the following years (2011 - 2018). However, for me it was the first stay since 2010 and I totally forgot that some floors have no elevator access. This time I had a child and two 23 kg bags, plus 2 carry-on bags 10 kg each. We arrived at 12am and I had to drag the bags one set of stairs down (3 floor to one level below). I was mortified when I realised that my mom must have dealt with this during her trips as well. I do not think that the staff would have offered her help. I find them pretty indifferent. Mom is in her late 60th and she would never compain of course. I just do not ever want her or myself dealing with this in the future. The hotel is slowly aging. No upgrades of any sort...some things that need to be fixed (light switch etc). Air conditioner did a good job overal, the shower was good. The bed was comfortable. So if the price is right (and it is a good price I suppose) - it is an ok place to spend a night between the flights. Otherwise - still not a huge fan of dragging heavy bags up and down stairs...

The service was outstanding.. they definitely went above and beyond for us, but maybe my mom is just very persuasive, haha. Rooms were nicely decorated and extremely clean, though there were a few minor holes in the wall/damage, but nothing extreme. The extra little surprises like the complementary toothbrushes and bathroom things available in the room were a nice touch. Probably the biggest con was that the mattresses were wrapped in plastic or some kind of waterproof mattress cover, and were very hot and sweaty and noisy every time you'd move.
The food in the restaurant was decent and service was good, though there seemed to be only a couple people working.
Overall, a pleasant stay!!!

There is very easy access from the airport monorail in Terminal 1, just take it all the way to the end and then a short walk. There are some nice restaurants and things down the street a little. The beach isn't the nicest beach around, so I wouldn't plan on a beach day before flying out. The hotel is well staffed and the breakfast is quite nice.

This was just an overnight stay prior to early flight home.Hotel boutique style with a few restaurants , cafes and a 4711 within walking distance Also close to free monorail from terminal one incheon airport but hotel offers a free shuttle service also from that terminal.
Staff friendly and we had a decent sized room .Some rooms dont have lift access so need to check that if you have large luggage.
The beach was close by with a great sunset from an excellant fish restsurant but the beach itself was full of debris and needs cleaning up
Not a beach to have a romantic stroll.

SHUTTLE: Convenient quick shuttle from the airport. There is no airport shuttles after checkout time (noon).
ROOM: The room was very good value and decorated for style and function. Not very clean though and the staff was not very friendly.
AREA: Two minute walk to the beach around construction and roads with no sidewalks. The beach has nice potential with fine golden sand, but there doesn't seem to be maintenance or cleaning done. There was garbage and construction rubble and currently no local recreational use of the beach. The area seems to be in transition with a lot of construction and investment, so perhaps in a few years it will look different. A few upscale restaurants have already opened along the beach.

We were a bit unlucky with our toilet, firstly the toilet would not flush due to a broken cord that pulls the plug, later on we encountered toilet blockage. But the staff were very helpful and sort out our problems very quickly. Thanks!

Other than the funky toilet experience, the special touch of providing ample toiletries and free drinks in the fridge was very impressive.

*If you are considering this hotel because of the free shuttle, you might want to look elsewhere*... Waited 45 minutes for shuttle and never showed up. Called a 2nd time and they showed up 40 minutes afterwards. When they arrived, they squeezed 9 people (plus luggage) into a mini van. We carried luggage in our laps. One lady was hit in the head with her luggage when the driver was putting it into the vehicle...he didn't care. The next morning my wife went down for shuttle to the airport. Because I was literally 1 minute late, they left me behind at the hotel. These are very rude people!

The hotel airport shuttle service only covers one of the terminals so we had to transfer terminals to ride the shuttle. The free airport shuttle between terminals took 30 min, plus a ten minute wait. The hotel told us to call them when we arrived at the terminal and then we had to wait 15 min for them to pick us up and then ride the hotel shuttle 15 min to the hotel. We did not expect a 70 min travel time from airport to hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on Korean Air who is very tired because you will have to change terminals to get to the hotel shuttle.

I liked that the hotel is surrounded by Korean seafood restaurants and is very close to 7/11. We ate breakfast at 7/11 and also bought Korean candy to take as gifts, but cheaper than airport gift shops.

Shuttle pick up is from terminal 1 only. It was easy. But you do have to call ahead so that they can verify your reservation. There is a intra terminal shuttle goes between the terminals every 7 minutes or so. That trip takes almost 20 minutes.
The hotel itself is fine, with cozy decoration. There is a small restaurant onsite. Shower i has great water pressure. The only thing I wish they could change is bedding. Although I slept well from being tired, there was no padding on matresses, as only a thin sheet on top. It was not that comfortable.

Great service, very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to and from the Airport was on time. Only a ten minute ride each way from terminal 1. Since we flew in and out of terminal 2, we had to take the free airport shuttle to get to terminal 1(this took about 25 minutes so plan for it). It was a sub ort walk to the beach from the hotel. A variety of food options nearby. Quaint hotel was perfect for our overnight layover. Will definitely stay here again.

Bad shuttle service, leaked air conditioner

The shuttle is available on request but you have to call first. Then you have to be at the informed pickup area on time because they will leave you if you do not come. They cannot park more than 5 minutes.

The building is more older and outdated than shown in the picture. I got a room with leaked airconditioner then they changed the room. The next room is ok but the amenities are old then we found that there are hair on the comb as of it was used before.

The front desk warned me when we want to use the shuttle to be on time at the waiting area. I felt quite dissapointed as if I am making a mistake. There were schedule for airport shuttle at each hour but when I need to use the shuttle they said I cannot use more than 2 times even they are scheduled for each hour.

Pleasant staff, great location, decent shuttle service (but only to T1 and not during night/early evening hours). Main disappointment was a leaky air conditioning unit, which the hotel was obviously aware of since they had prepared extra towels and a bucket underneath it. The A/C worked just fine, but that incessant dripping while trying to sleep was less than ideal.

Wonderful and friendly people that work there! Had stayed for 18hr layover which would have been rushed if traveled to initial hotel booked in Gangnam district Seoul. So glad we changed our hotel!

Close to ocean so definitely take a walk on the beach (is mix of sand/shells/rocky tide pools with hermit crabs, etc.

One employee drive us two minutes down the road to the Beach House restaurant — arrived at 7:15, they’d stopped cooking at 7pm... so after walk on the beach went back to hotel to eat— which was amazing food! And ice cream was fabulous - homemade? In the morning had ~$5 usd American breakfast, a LOT of food which the kids loved.

Oh, and free shuttle, new vehicle with plenty of space. A++

I landed late in Korea, so I booked a hotel near the airport to stay for a night. The check-in process was fast and fuss-free. I booked a single room but had a free room upgrade. The room was cosy and comes with free bottled water and can drinks, which was really pleasant after a long flight to Korea.

The only downside is the toilet light switches off on its own after a while, and that can be inconvenient if you're in the middle of a bath. I also found strands of hair that don't belong to me on their bath towel.
