Loved our stay at the Lavaux! Gorgeous view of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva). We stayed on an extrodinarily hot summer day/night and really enjoyed the 5 min. walk down to the beach and the air conditioned rooms had a beautiful deck view of the lake but yet were nice and cool for sleeping.

The check in guy was good, but check out guy was extremely rude, racist, and terrible person. I and someone else have spoken to him for few minutes only while we were leaving and he screwed up the entire review. This is a fabulous property and well-deserving of its 4 stars. Sadly, I came when the fog had descended on the area so I couldn't see the stunning views, but I have been to the area numerous times and know they are breathtaking. I loved that the Epesses train stop was 3 minutes from the hotel (be aware there are a lot of steps to get there). I had to talk with the front desk several times for personal reasons and they were nothing short of magnificent and helpful. The place was so clean and had lots of lovely space to breathe. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Lavaux is absolutely beautiful! We were warmly greeted by Isabel, whose customer service was outstanding! She was able to check us in one hour early, which was fantastic, as we had just arrived from the US. The view from our room is spectacular. I am so grateful to have found this beautiful hotel.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel, which speaks volumes about its quality, especially considering I stay in over 100 hotels annually. This time, the room lacked napkins—a minor inconvenience that didn’t affect my overall positive impression. If you book through Expedia, the hotel payment is handled by them. Parking is free, though if you arrive late, you might need to park on the street, which isn’t a problem at all. I’ll definitely be returning again

Very nice place

Very well located. By car you are 15-20 minutes from montreux and Lausanne. There is a train stop within a 2-3 minutes walk. You can walk up to the village using the vineyards walk steps which was very nice. The restaurant Auberge du vigneron is about a 15 minutes walk and is extremely good. The room was spacious and clean and the balcony very usefull to eat and drink with a nice view of the lake and mountains.

This property is away from the city but there is a train stop five minute from the hotel. It is the Vevey train stop. The hotel is also a 15 minute walk from the town of Cully. You can hike through the vineyards to other towns. it was very quiet.

Overall we loved our stay at Hotel Lavaux. Great location walking distance to lots of wineries as well as Epesses train station. We loved that we got a Montreaux Travel Card which meant we could use public transport between Montreaux and Lausanne for free. Only negatives are that the plug sockets are very small so we couldn’t use our UK adapters and the service in the restaurant for dinner was exceptionally slow.

The view of the lake and the mountains is incredible. A short 5 minutes walk to the train and also a mini beach just after the train station. Will stay here again. The restaurant next door - Restaurant Masaniello - serves really good food too.

As other guests have mentioned, there is some problem with the hairdryer. In my case it works for 30 seconds then it stopped. After putting it down for 1 minute it functions again for a short time. and repeat...
Besides that, not all charging plugs/outlets were working. In my case there was one that wasn't working when I tried to boil water.

Overall, the stay was okay despite the minor inconveniences.

Really nice hotel for my business trip. Excellent view from the hotel room balcony of the lake and mountains. Food was excellent in the restaurant. Breakfast was fairly basic but provided what I normally eat.

This hotel is fine but be mindful that it is right on the motorway. We were road facing and the door to our balcony was broken so it was quite noisy.

We also found a cockroach in our room in the morning.

We told reception of these complaints when we were checking out and we were not taken seriously. We were told they couldn't help because we didn't tell them at the time.

I'd recommend trying other hotels in the area for a more pleasant stay!

I have stayed two separate nights in this hotel once with a lake view and once with a wall view. The front desk staff is super nice. Breakfast I can skip it as is very basic and scramble eggs were just okay. Parking is fine as the long restaurant is not running then good luck park on the side of the road. The day after, my refund request was denied by the other reception, telling me to message them to confirm via Expedia. Message sent and no reply. It’s the only hotel situated on the lake and away from Montreux and Vevey. Smack in the middle of the grapevine treks, a unesco heritage. We were glad to discover and book this hotel for three nights. Overall it was awesome. You need to take S5 train from Vevey or Montreux and the hotel is a few hundred feet from the station. You need to climb a level up.
