We like the restaurant attach to the building. Because we purchased breakfast with our stay, we get to utilize it a lot and the proximity makes it convenient. On the other hand, menue is the same everyday. I wish we could get some credit back for lunch or dinner on the days we don’t eat that much.

Our experience started out badly when Visionapartments sent me my entry code from an e-mail address that just said \"Noreply\" without the company name or anything. Nobody that I know opens that kind of an e-mail. So, we arrived at the door without the right information. Then, an agent somewhere far away walked me through how to get the code, but in order to do it, I had to access everything on my iPad while I was talking with the guy on the phone. This included uploading a picture of my passport before getting the code. NOBODY was on site to help with anything if things had gone wrong after we got into the room. For this reason, I won't book any Visionapartments again.
The room was nice, but the note that they would charge for extra pillows (only 1 per person) was ridiculous and showed an indifferent attitude to guests' comfort. No hotel with a live person would charge for an extra pillow. So, anyway, the location is nice, but it fell down very badly on service.

Need a reception - advertised as reception between working hours is a fallacy, as there is no reception and we only saw a cleaning person on the day we arrived. The police are absent when the young African men are around , who are waiting on all corners of the station, they are not dangerous but persistent.

Really nice hotel to stay and close to the train station. The only problem was that my room had a cigarette smell and the towels smelled a lot like cigarettes (I couldn’t even use them). Besides that, I would truly recommend it.

A) the stench of smoke in my room (VC403) from the arrival to the end. I immediately called customer service : they never reacted to find a solution. I also wrote twice to [email protected] and they never answered.
B) I paid an additional for breakfast ( room VC403 and VC302) for 3 days : we could not used it as the breakfast starts at 8:00am. This was never mentioned. Too bad.

Very close to station. Some people hanging around outside apartment all day and night were a bit unsettling. Not many places to eat on Sunday eve!

The room was great, just as described and the bed was pretty comfortable. There is a little noise from the train station which is very close, but its not too bad and didn't stop us sleeping. My major gripe is check-in. We arrived on a Sunday and hadn't been sent the codes. The building was unmanned, and it took more than 15minutes for the 24/7 helpline to answer. When they did they were able to send the codes pretty swiftly but didn't provide an explanation as to why we hadn't received an email. And yes, I had sent our IDs on the Wednesday before checkin. So I would stay here again, but I would definitely check the day before that I had received access info.

Very practical ,near the train station, absolutely clean and modern, the shower is particularly small but perfect. Contains much more than what I was waiting for: plates and glasses and iron board and coffee machine. I specially appreciated the pass permitting reductions on transportation around the city.

Close to vevey train station and supermarket. Staff were helpful and cheerful, they recommended some sightseeing spots and good food nearby. Room was very spacious and equipped with cooking facilities and ironing board. Washing and drying machines were located at basement while you needed to have your own detergent.

Excellent trip. The apartment was lovely. Very clean with everything we needed apart from a toaster. Very close to train station and to shops and restaurants. Only a short 10 minute stroll down to the lake which had spectacular views of the mountains. Would highly recommend both the apartment and Vevey itself. Only a few minutes by train to Montreux which was lovely. Saw the Queen exhibition at the Casino. Got the boat back to Vevey giving lovely views. Went to Charlie Chaplin’s house in Vevey which was only a short bus journey away. Really enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend. Went on the Chocolate train from the station next to the apartment. A lovely trip starting on a beautiful old train taking you through the countryside. Then via a really comfortable coach to the Gruyère cheese factory, the Gruyères village and onto the Cailler chocolate factory. A really enjoyable trip.

The staff in the lobby and the room cleaning lady are very nice and helpful. The room is very clean. I like the self-service kitchen and laundry. However, I found some guests did smoking in their room, the smell was so strong in the corridor. I am a bit disappointed it.

The convenience of this apartment was excellent. It helps that Vevey is a small town, but to be right next to the train station (the windows are pretty sound proof so there was really no train noise) as well as shopping and a short walk to the lake could not be beat. :)

The apartment is in an excellent location. It was great to have use of the kitchen and laundry facilities, but the beds and pillows are TERRIBLE!! I wouldn't stay there again for that reason as we hardly got any sleep for the 3 nights we stayed.

Clean, quite new, a bit cramped but adequate. 1 minute to railway station (trains quite loud when double glazed windows are open but silence reigns when closed) and 5 minutes to the edge of the lake and old town of Vevey. Front desk unmanned on Sat/Sun. Security codes to enter building and room provided by email; no problem with gaining entry. As advised, the room contained a microwave, fridge (no freezer section) and coffee machine. There were coffee cups, mugs and teaspoons. No knives, forks, plates or bowls. It wasn’t clear how one could prepare a meal of any sort until we happened to spy that there is a fully equipped, share kitchen in the basement. This information should have been spelt out on the www.hotels.com website or in the room information. Very frustrating to discover the kitchen just before we departed.

Great price and great location as apartment was behind/beside the train station. However, the place wasn't really ready and up and running. Most of the tv channels weren't available as they were still facing signal issues and there were hardly any english channels available out of the few that were working.
We were also given a disabled access bathroom which made a real mess, with water flowing all over to outside the bathroom door, to the front door and the cabinets, even with the door closed. We had to use all the towels we could to soak up the mess, to ensure no one would slip and fall. It was extremely pleasant and we had to take caution when we showered to ensure not too much water flowed out. Room was also very near the train tracks though we did request for a quiet room and it didn't seem like they were full.

Great facilities, but terrible communication
The hotel itself was perfect - great location, great facilities. However, the communication was problematic. I arrived at 7pm to be confronted with a door code that I'd been sent no instructions for. On ringing the number given on the door, I was told I should have received an email with door codes etc. I had not been sent anything. I was kept waiting on the phone for ages, then was told I would be sent an email with info after giving my email address, and had to pay the city tax by bank transfer before they would send me a door code. I had already paid for the room in advance, but not the city tax. Why I hadn't been asked for this, I don't know, if they were happy to take it by transfer anyway. I explained that I could not make a payment by phone and they were stumped and said they'd get back to me. Luckily someone exited the building at that point, and I got into the foyer, where I was approached by a member of staff who efficiently checked my details, gave me the codes and took my payment in cash. All fine after that, but really, this situation was pretty bad. What if it had been midnight when I arrived?
