Notre chambre était spacieuse. Literie de qualité, lit confortable. Très propre. Le personnel nous a bien guidé et conseillé pour les activités. Le déjeuner comprend plusieurs choix (pain, viennoiseries, céréales, granolas, œuf, yogourt), choix de confiture, jus maison. La salle de restaurant est au niveau terrasse dont la vue donne sur le lac.

The whole stay was great. We loved tb lake location and our comfortable room in the eaves of this wonderful hotel. The breakfast was delicious and served in such a calm and welcoming environment. The front desk staff were incredible friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is lovely. While it is not a 4 or 5 star, it is very nice. It is clean and details are noticed. It is on the lake with great views. The breakfast is amazing, probably one of the best that I've seen anywhere with local produce, homemade healthy items. The restaurant for lunch and dinner features small plates which are also very good. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed two nights at the Bon Rivage. It was a nice quiet place to stay and a quiet public beach right outside the property. The included breakfast is amazing! All locally sourced or grown onsite, resulting in delicious food.

We did a room change when we saw that our reservation was not lakeview. Unfortunately the room that we were switch to was a bit smaller than our original reserved room, however, the view from this room was magnificent . We enjoyed the breakfast provided. La Tour de Peilz is a beautiful layed back community. The hotel was only a short but beautiful walk along Lake Geneva to the town square. We took a 4 hour cruise around the lake which departed from Montreux and dropped us off at the Vevey port. This area is a must see to get a true taste of southern Switzerland and the Bon Rivage is a fantastic hotel to stay when touring this area

Great terrace to have breakfast on and enjoy the view of Lake Geneva. A charming garden with roses as well as fruits, vegetables and herbs on the property, which show up on the breakfast buffet. I was traveling solo so stayed on the top floor (which is an attic). I found I had to bend over more than I expected and bumped my head a few times. I would stay again but only on floors 1 or 2. Staff were great. Not air-conditioned, which most of the year is not a problem, but I was there at the end of a heat wave and suffered despite the fan the hotel provided.

Lovely hotel with beautiful location on the lake. It's a bit outside on Montreux, but they kindly provided free bus travel which runs every 10 minutes from a bus stop right outside the hotel.

Rooms and breakfast were all lovely. There is also a pleasant lounge area and outdoor terrace.

A good tip is to take the bus from the hote about half way to town and alight at Clarens-Basset. From there there is a promenande all the way into town whuch is a lively 45 minute walk.

It’s a very nice hotel on the lake. Very clean, well maintained. Rooms are adequate size and have what you need. There’s tea on each floor. Breakfast is good. The location is ok but will take some bus ride to get to Montreux

We had a wonderful meeting with old friends in this hotel which includes several indoor and outdoor areas to gather and spend maravillous time in front of the lake. Outdoor areas and terraces offer wonderful views of the lake and surroundings.

Staff was amazing and very serviceable.

The property is right on the lakeside and within easy walking distance from the centre of Vevey. The views lakeside are fantastic and change every day depending on the weather. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The bus runs along the main road at the main entrance side of the hotel and they are on time, frequent and there is a bus stop just less than a minutes walk away. Trains are close by too as are the paddle steamers. There is access through the hotel garden down to the promenade which runs all the way from La Tour-de-Peilz to Vevey. The hotel including the rooms are very clean and well looked after, perhaps not totally up to date and might need bringing up to date in places but that was not a problem and was really quite charming. For me the bed was very comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. It was starting to get hot whilst we were there and we thought that opening the window would cause noise problems (we were roadside) but in the end we were fine. The breakfasts were good although a little bit of variation wouldn't go amis. The staff were extremely obliging and helpful except for the last morning when the young waitress in the dining room thought that it was a good idea to open the patio doors really wide which made the dining room very cold. A lot of people complained as there were a lot of elderly people there and eventually the problem was resolved. For us it was the perfect place to stay at that time.

Really nice place and Vevey was a great town. The only negative was the showers are very small [seemed like 30 x 30 inches]. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good!

Ok for the price

The hotel is Ok and given hotel costs in the area a reasonable price. There are some areas that could be improved. Firstly the internet sign on is clunky and old fashioned and connections are slow and not very reliable. Breakfast hours could also be extended at weekends as people want to eat later and so the breakfast room becomes full quickly. Lakeside rooms have a good view but are a little noisy in the morning if you are low down as you are over the restaurant terrace. All in all though not a bad choice and a great location

Outstanding place to stay on lake Geneva.

The hotel and location are amazing. The sites are beautiful, public transportation and walking are ideal at this location. The hotel staff and the breakfast is wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel.

The rose garden on the back side viewable from the patio terrace is nice. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was amazing. An easy access to/from the train station via buss 2. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in Bon Rivage, it is a great value for money, wonderful location, magical views over Lake Geneva from the rooms and terrace, easy access to the public beach, breakfast included, beautiful and stylish 1st class hotel. The staff is also very friendly, they
leave a kettle, water for tea and tea bags on each floor, very generous to guests. Beds are also very comfortable, we are looking forward to coming back next year!

Lovely hotel on lake front

Lovely location on lake front with superb views. Breakfast on the terrace - wonderful start to the day!
Was there for the Montreux jazz festival and thé hotel gives a local travel card (standard practice) so once the car was parked up we took the bus into vevey, Montreux and to the stadium for a concert.
V clean, nice room. The only downside was the lack of air con. In 35 degree heat you need air con in a bedroom. The hotel were obviously aware of the issue and as a consequence provided a fan but it didn’t cool the room down. Credit given to them for providing one though.

Beautiful old hotel with great view of the lake. No ac and busy road. I would want a lake view room to get away from the road noise. Outside patio dining overlooks Lake. Nice walk in pretty park along lake into Vevy.

The hotel was in a good position beside the lake. It is walking distance from Vevey. It is on a bus route along the lake and the hotel gives you a free bus pass to use during yoyr day.

Excellent hotel very close to bus 201 that can take you to all the cities on lake Lamon shoreline. Good service. Breakfast is above average and costs 15-19 franks.

A gem by the lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Bon Rivage. The staff were all friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We were in an attic room with sloped ceilings and beams so there was a need for caution, but the room was well equipped and had a view over the lake. There is access from the hotel gardens to the lakeside and a small beach, and it is a lovely walk into Vevey along the lake.

There are two supermarkets nearby as well as bars, a cafe and a pizzeria. The hotel provide you with local transport tickets, giving free bus travel and 50% off boats. There is a bus stop 100m from the hotel with a bus direct into Montreux.

All in all a lovely quiet hotel in a great location.

Nice location, good hotel and terrible room!

I will be very fair and exact about this hotel. First, the location is on the lake in a nice area with supermarket and shops around. The bus ride to Montreaux and Vevey were free with the hotel stay. The hotel itself is charming with nice decoration and the restaurant was nice with excellent staff. Breakfast however was really poor and should be upgraded. The really depressing point is the room. Clean but tooooooo hot with very small windows and no air conditioning at all, only a fan which was very noisy. Another thing is the terrible ceiling design with wood coming down from it. We were hitting our head all the time and our kids couldn't move freely around the room at all. Staff were friendly and tried to offer an extra fan or an upgrade for 100 CHF which was too much to pay after what we have paid already. Overall, I don't recommend this hotel, we had two sleepless nights and really couldn't wait to leave.

No air conditioning and stuffy room, so I needed to keep window open and the noises of people partying in the public beach went on until one a.m. ear plugs a must. I would expect more from a ‘classy’ hotel

Manuel on reception was extremely helpful and all staff are friendly. Beautiful views to lake and right outside is bus stop for free buses to Montreux Christmas market and Vevey central. Comfy bed and lovely room. Lots of choice of TV channels.

Outstanding view

We upgraded our room for a nominal amount and had a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains.
This is wonderful hotel but does require a bus ride or lang walk to get to the restaurants in Vevey. However, the nearby Italian restaurant, Veneto, is excellent.

Nice hotel on Lake Geneva

Hotel is very nice, large rooms for European standards. We did not have a lake view. The room was very comfortable. Hotel seems like it was recently renovated so is more modern, not old quaint European like. Breakfast was very good and included. Price was reasonable. Thought it was in the center of Vevey but it is not. Not many restaurants around within walking distance.

Fantastic View, Friendly Staff

The room had an awesome view of the lake, the bed & pillows were very comfortable. The size of the room is pretty good for Swiss standard and it was very clean. We had great dinner at the restaurant and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. Some people may find the menu expensive but my husband being an Executive Chef in a similar hotel thinks it is reasonably priced again for Switzerland. There was a lounge in front of our room where we could make coffee which was great since my husband & I don't normally eat breakfast. This is our second time in the hotel and definitely not the last.

Hostellerie Bon Rivage - Hot Rooms with Rap Music

No air conditioning!! It was screaming hot in our room. So we opened our window to cool the room then the bugs came in. We turned off the lights and that solved the bug problem. The hotel is at a popular place where kids hang out at the waterfront. So if you like RAP music until 3 in the morning this is the place for you! We wanted to dine in the restaurant but we couldn't because it was booked both nights. Parking was also a mess and they suggested that we park down the street. OK - one nice thing - the staff at the front desk was great.
