The room is clean and efficient. The staff are polite and friendly and I love the area. It's not touristy but it is in a great spot to hop on the metro and it's a straight line to any of the tourist spots. The hotel area itself has bakeries and cafes and a charming canal and movie theaters on the streets behind it. This is my 2nd time staying and it is the best budget hotel.

For the price, the bathroom was modern and clean, three bedroom was small but comfortable, furniture were scuffy but clean. The hotel is located very close to metro, local park and cafes with reasonable prices.

Nice little Parisian hotel. Close to the canal and the Plage on one side and then close to a grocery store, restaurants (great little chicken takeaway) and the metro on the other side.
Room was small but clean and perfect for 2 people. Ac worked really well and the staff were very polite and kind. Would stay here again

This was perfect for our trip to Paris. It’s not new or fancy but the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It’s right near a few metro stations and we found an excellent Italian joint just down the street with a great lasagna. The neighborhood felt safe to walk around in and would stay here again!

The hotel answered my queries before our arrival. The staff were friendly. The air conditioning was efficient. The triple room was spacious and was cleaned every day. We were able to keep our bags in the locked baggage area after we had checked out on the last day. There were two bakeries and convenience stores nearby and some nice, affordable restaurants in the area near the canal. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

This was a great one-night stay. Very close to the metro station, soooo much food nearby, and the bed was decently comfortable. I loved that we had our own bathroom and shower (separate, but in our room rather than shared as ive found in other hotels). Room was very small and quaint. Excellent A/C!!!
Only thing we noticed was the room seemed quite muggy when we arrived, meaning there was some humidity in the air and when we went to bed, our body seemed to feel moist against the bed. No other complaints really. Would recommend!

Like all \"normal\" hotels in Europe the size of the room (1 double bed / 1 single) was small but everything was clean and the service/employees were great. Yes, you could hear the traffic but it is expected for a hotel in a big city. The walk to both metro stations that were close were safe. Even walking back from major tourist attractions felt safe. We were a couple traveling with a teenager and everything was good.

The room was actually fine – clean, comfortable, no complaints there. But honestly, the service completely ruined the experience.

There’s a girl who works at the front desk in the morning, and she has one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Super rude, arrogant, and clearly doesn’t want to be there. She treats guests like they’re bothering her just by asking basic questions. Zero patience, zero willingness to help.

We enjoyed our stay there very much. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone because the staff are all very friendly and exceptional who go above and beyond duty to help. I love that the hotel is about 10 seconds away from the metro Riquet exit but unfortunately that means that you can hear the metro but that can be easily fixed with earplugs at night. Some larger or taller guests might find the washroom too crammed based on the toilet location in the washroom but it was fine for us.

The room we had was very small for 2 people. In fact was virtually impossible to open our luggage. Quite inconvenient. The hotel also had a weird rumble (not uncommon in Paris as there are many train lines), but fortunately it was the RER (I think) @ 30 minute intervals.

A friendly place when visiting Paris on your own

A good hotel if you want to visit Paris on your own for a couple of days. Bathroom is clean, bed comfortable, breakfast very OK, staff day & night nice and helpful.
Several restaurants are nearby, metro / underground / subway station is just around the corner - with changing lines once you can be at Notre Dame in 20-30 minutes, 10 minutes only to Gare de l'Est train station.
Maybe a german TV-programme would be good...

I went to Paris for a week alone. At first I wasn't sure about this hotel as it's in the 19th arrondissment but I LOVED it here. It's less touristy but so charming. There is a grocery store on one corner and a bakery on another. The street behind the hotel opens up to a canal with house boats and charming cafes. I like Cafe Gina. There's even a yoga studio behind the hotel. The metro is close and you are right near Montmartre and Pere La Chaise. Line 7 takes you to all the other hot spots. It was great value. The staff are super friendly. The area felt safe ( granted I'd take a taxi if I was out late for door to door service). I would stay here again.

Overall ok. Washroom could have a vent installed. The single room is quite compact. Room temperature is adjustable. Has good TV and Wifi. And elevator is a plus if you have heavy baggages.

Everyone of this property was extremely nice, but the area did not seem safe. I traveled alone and did not feel safe at night walking by myself so I took Ubers constantly just to make sure I was safe. If I was with someone it may not have been as bad, but to be honest with you there were definitely a lot of homeless in the area. The room was very small and so was the bed. Other than that, the hotel was very clean.

Nice and clean but can get noisy with the guests who arrive late at night with their suitcases. You can also hear what happens next door. Fortunately I always have earplugs. I would recommend.

The hotel is good for the price. The walls in the bedrooms are quite slim so it is easy to hear neighbors. If your room is in front of the elevators you will hear the traffic. Overall the hotel is clean. Rooms tiny, as everything in Paris. The breakfast is not so good but convenient.
In conclusion it it’s a good place where to stay 2-3 nights.

This is a very nicely located hotel. There are several dining options nearby, and metro station is very close too. The employees there are very courteous. I was a bit worried about keeping the passport and some cash in the hotel rooms. They offered the locker service which gave me a peace of mind. Room was very small, and the bathroom is just beside the bed, but that is probably expected in a city like Paris. Breakfast was average.

I really liked this hotel! It was my first trip to Paris by myself! I’m a tall guy so I was worried about the shower size but it was not an issue at all! I had a small room but it was comfortable and to my liking! The elevator took me directly in front of my room which I liked! Plenty of shops and bakeries in the area and also the metro station was nearby so that was great! Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

It was a good stay and I didn’t expect much, so it mostly met my expectations. Only problem is that there was mold inside the shower, so that was pretty disgusting. Very convenient to have the metro right outside the hotel. Tho to enter the metro you’ll need to walk down the street a bit, not far at all. When you exit the metro the station is right around the corner from the hotel.

This is a good value hotel in north-east Paris. Would recommend.

I stayed in a single room, which was comfortable, a good size and had everything that I needed. There's a lift and the wifi works fine.

All the staff I encountered, including the night staff, were very polite and friendly so I have no complaints.

The area was fine, it's not posh but I didn't feel that there was any issue walking around or coming back at night. It's very close to the Villette Basin, which is nice to stroll along and there are some amazing flats nearby which are great to have a look at if you're interested in architecture. The metro is a couple of minutes walk away and there are plenty of ordinary shops on the main road.

The room is small and basic, but clean. We only stayed one night. The airline had lost our luggage and several different people at the front desk helped us call to check on it. We brought a pizza back and they allowed us to us their breakfast dishes. They were very nice. We were early and they kept our bags (the ones the airline didn’t lose) until our room was ready. Breakfast was good with several options. Would recommend for a brief stay, but the size would prevent me from staying more than a couple days. Near a metro station. Ok neighborhood, not great.

It is truly and amazing hotel. They take care of the people who stay there very well. We were on the last floor during a heat wave and we had a fan. During the day while we were out, without us having to ask, they replaced the fan with a dehumidifier/ AC. We had some cheese with us from Amsterdam which did not need refrigerating, but with the heat wave it wasn’t looking very good. We left it on the AC to try and cool it off and they took it and put it in the refrigerator for us. The employees were very nice, from the receptionist to the cleaning lady which whom we had a lovely conversation, and also with the taxi driver whom our hotel reserved for us. Everyone was very nice, the hotel was very well kept/ clean, was renovated and comfortable.

i am very disappointment with this hotel because i booked it as a package with my flight .first is very very small room for me and my wife ,there is no place to hang your cloth we can not even walk in the room . bathroom had very bad smell all the time. not even a place to put your suit case.very lowed noise every night you can not rest or sleep. staff not very helpful or friendly at all.we went down stairs to wait for our shuttle to take us back to the airport one of the night staff was sleeping on the sofa the one we need to sit to wait for our ride. do,t go there there is many nice hotels we seen closer to every thing same price this one.

The hotel is in a very bad area with drunk people and bumps walking around especially at light time. Two people asked for a cigarette and when I said no, one reached over and grabbed it from my mouth right outside the hotel entrance. Someone almost got picked pocket but a local lady shouted out for the couples attention. Don’t stay there unless you want to feel unsafe the whole time while you are vacating and wanting to have a good time. The savings isn’t worth it.

The service staff overall were nice and courteous but the night shift person (an older white dude) was very rude. I had an overnight package of my medicine sent to the hotel and he insisted I couldn’t get it until the morning. I demanded to speak to the manager who was very helpful and very apologetic. The manager was always very pleasant.

Lovely stay North of Paris!

The hotel itself was great. Tons of grocery stores within 5 min walk, close to Stalingrad station (line 2 & 5) and line 7, PERFECT if you need to be close to Gare Du Nord or Gare De L’Est. Quite clean, more space inside the room than other hotels in Paris, and very kind staff that spoke great English. The only rough part was at night. Sirens constantly went by from 11pm-5am, people talking loudly in the street, etc. Made it VERY difficult to sleep. Aside from the noise at night, hotel was very nice. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were SO sweet to us!

Greeted by a friendly hotel staff, very relaxed environment and allowed me for an early check in when the room was available. Although it looks a bit old from the foyer, the room was clean and the bathroom looks new. The lift was a bonus! Minutes away from the nearest metro station and 25mins walk to Gare du Nord. Perfect for a weekend stay!

This was advertised as a 4star when we booked, in a nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants nearby, non smoking hotel. None of it was true! It was in a not so nice part of town..sex shops everywhere, the room smelled like a dirty stale ashtray. I know that a lot of rooms are small in Paris but this was beyond tiny for 3 adults. The Gentleman at the desk was nice and friendly but didn't seem at all surprised when we left 10 minutes after checking in. We lost the money we paid in advance for 3 nights, but it was better than staying there. Wish we would have researched this one a little better

What a terrific hotel in northeast Paris. The four men who run the hotel are real pros. They let me check in 2 hours early and they bought me an expresso. The room was spotless and quiet with the best continental breakfast to look forward to each morning. I'm 67 and travel alone and they were genuinely interested in my adventures. I am already saving up to go back. It's 3 minutes from Riquet Metro stop.

The hotel is well organised and easily accessible via metros Stalingrad and Riquet.The staff were friendly with good language skills,the buffet type breakfasts were fully acceptable.The surrounding neighbourhood is friendly,lived in and not touristy,there is an attractive leisure orientated canal at the end of the street.There is stair access to the first floor as well as a lift to all floors.We were facing the street on the first floor and because of the warm temperatures, had to have the window slightly ajar due to the absence of air conditioning,though a small fan was provided and the small street was noisy during the night.The room was small but the ensuite bathroom was impressive.The sheets were changed every day.No fridge was provided and the safe was at reception.Surrounding the hotel are numerous café bars and restaurants as well as small shops and the occasional small supermarket.All in all,a pleasant experience.

Best option I could’ve gone for!

The hotel was just everything you need for a couple of days visit to Paris. Clean room. The toilet and bathroom facilities seemed brand new. Our room had large windows that opened wide and this just made the room that little bit more special. Really loved this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful when we asked for suggestions regarding where we should go for dinner. I would definitely return again.
