The breakfast was too expensive. Went elsewhere. Our stay was not good. I reserved an acessable room. The room we were assigned was not. The equipment available to bring in our luggage was not available when needed and the workers were not helpful. Answers to questions were short and inadequate.. i will never stay at this hotel again. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone...overpriced and inadequate. I am losing my previously good opinion of Hilton and will not use your hotels again. Robert Whelchel

The staff was amazing! The lady at the front desk, Kadisha (sp) was the best and so helpful.
At breakfast, we so enjoyed talking to the young man who made our omelettes. He was delightful and the omelettes were delicious.
Will definitely stay there any time I’m in Columbia.

There are no shops near. The only food is a Burger King or Cracker Barrel. The room was clean, but the hotel is dated. you can see obvious deterioration in the rooms with missing baseboards and stained carpet. The registration staff was good, only one person had an attitude. All the other staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Our room had many issues. It had an overwhelming smell of wet animal. The A/C would not shut off after reaching desired temperature and blew at full throttle continuously forcing us to just shut off system altogether because it was freezing in the room. The tankless hot water heater for the shower had a mind of its own, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold, although mostly scalding. The bedding smelled. I had a cleaning lady badge into the room while I was in a virtual conference call without knocking or stating who she was.

We checked out a day early despite prepaying for both nights because it was such a poor stay.

The room was in fair condition, very clean. The staff were very friendly on check-in. The room was just a little drab. I could not find where the breakfast was being offered and did not see where coffee was offered. At checkout, I could not find a staff member at first. Finally a young lady appeared and was not at all helpful I also have not received the bill by email as promised.

I stayed three nights at with my elderly parents and the room was never cleaned a single time. We had no extra towels and no toilet paper. After asking the front desk in person and by phone for essentials, nothing was delivered and calls went unanswered. The staff acted uninterested and offered no apology or solution. This is poor service, poor hygiene, and an unacceptable safety risk when traveling with an older family member. I expected better from Hilton property. Do not stay there.

Box springs were nasty, cigarette burns on wooden surfaces, outlets striped out, all the stuff peeling off the chair. Breakfast was 18.99 we went right down the road to Cracker Barrel. The refrigerator was not cold. About 1:30 in the morning someone started banging on our door ( just me and my daughter). I scared us to death. It was a food delivery guy that had the wrong room, Are you kidding me!!!!!!!! Food delivery people should not be allowed to wonder around inside the motel like that!!!!! People should have to get their food orders from the lobby.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby is deceiving.

staff was good, except we were not given vouchers for breakfast at check-in. coffee maker leaked all over. 4 days stay with no one servicing room, no bathroom fan for smell or steam, could not find an ice maker was told 1,3,5, floor. even on first floor staff could not find one and went into the closed kitchen, woke up and had to leave building due to false fire alarm. someone spilled a milkshake outside of a-door when we got their 4 days later it was still there. then the scan bar code left in room to tip staff lol not happening after that experience. I expected a top-notch hotel affiliated with a Hilton name on it. very disappointed.

make sure you get what you pay for

When checking in the 2 ladies at the front desk were chatting and we stood there for a couple of minutes until one lady looked at us like we were bothering them, I stated we are checking in, she rolled her eyes and asked our information, she got us checked in and said there will not be any room service unless we let the front desk know by 8 am of the day we needed the room service done. While during our stay we needed toilet paper, my wife went to the front desk and asked for some toilet paper, the person at the front desk told her it would be right up this was around 4pm, nothing was brought up we wound up using the restrooms in the hall by the snack machines. the next day we saw a house keeping lady and asked her if we could get the toilet paper, she had it to us in 10 minutes. the bathroom was moldy around the floor and shower. at night the room door has light coming in around it from the hall on the other side, so much so there is no need for a night light. I really do not feel that the price we paid for the room was anywhere near worth what we had to pay for.

But during the day, when it was open, I couldn’t find anyone to take an order and there were several dirty tables with used dishes on them. Overall, it was in a convenient location but most things close by were closed or seedy looking

Nothing was impressive. Just another hotel. Corners of bathroom was dirty, obviously not cleaned on a regular basis. Room was ok, but apparently some employees sitting at bar, discussing a bed bug infestation. Not a good sign. None of the employees stood out as good or even great. They were average at best. I wont plan to book there again, as you should at least get a smile. No discussion of amenities, local things of interest. Nothing. Rather sad.

First, let’s start by saying I will not stay there again. The young lady that worked the front desk Friday morning showed no empathy at all. I booked 3 days through Expedia and I showed her my receipt. She still had me to pay for a third day. I didn’t have time to go back and forth with her because I had to be somewhere soon. I will dispute that charge .

I paid up for a room with outdoor balcony only for that balcony to be completely unusable. The space had not been cleaned in a very long. Fat spiders, their prey debris, old webs, tree and pollen debris...who wants to sit in that? Because I was only at the hotel to shower and sleep and because my family and I received excellent customer service at the front desk and gave me extra towels multiple times without issue. Please clean all spaces included in the price of the room that you expect people to pay for. Walls and ac vents etc should be cleaned periodically. Overall for my short stay, my needs were met.

Room was filthy, not cleaned, even the walls had food or filth smudges on them. The hotel smelled of weed and we got woken up to our neighbors doing things children shouldn’t hear at 630 am. Told the front staff and they just said sorry. Didn’t try to fix the problems or offer a partial refund. WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN UNTIL HILTON CORRECTS THIS MAJOR PROBLEM!

We arrived at this property to attend an event at the Gala Convention Center. The very first contact we had was with the shuttle driver, Lance. Lance was awesome! He was accomodating, informative, and very helpful with making recommendations for the area. Then, we met with the front desk attendant, Kadecia (sorry, spelling is probably wrong). Again, AWESOME! We arrived a bit earlier than expected but she went out of her way to assist with recommendations of where to go and what to do in the meantime. She held our luggage and made sure to call us at the earliest time we could check in! Kudos to our other shuttle drivers, and the manager on duty the following evening, Tyree. Unfortunately, he had to step in and make sure we received enough towels, toilet paper, and body gel. We had to ask for more towels more than 4 times. We kept getting the runaround from the other staff. We stayed for two nights and our room was never cleaned. Tyree even had to take out our trash for us. The hotel's location is perfect, the property is beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, we are unable to give it the five stars we would like to give due to a few bad apples on the staff and perhaps and overworked cleaning staff.

Breakfast was good, the room was nice, and the shower was HUGE! Also, all of the staff I encountered were very friendly. I will return. I attended a banquet on Saturday night at the Conference Center and the vegan option was really good. The only recommendation I have is please add antibacteria wipes in the gym to clean the equipment before use.

Lost over $2000 of electronics

A hotel employee “lost” their master key and my room was burgled. My iPad and MacBook Pro were stolen. The hotel was alerted earlier in the day that the master key had been used in several rooms at a time that was inappropriate and they did not tell anyone. I discovered my backpack had been emptied the following day.

On top of that, the pillows were no larger than couch throw pillows and were extremely uncomfortable.

I don't typically leave bad reviews & I hate that this stay wasn't better. I've always enjoyed this Doubletree, but this trip wasn't the best. 1st: found bags of trash hid behind a chair in our room. 2nd: the shower handle was broke off & just laying on soap rack. 3rd: no mattress cover, just a fitted sheet. 4th: NO cookies. Front desk personnel were super nice tho! I'd give em another try, but I guess I should of been more vocal on my findings in the room.

The door handle to out bathroom did not work. My fiancé got locked in the bathroom. I ad to use a credit card to get it opened. We then put a band aid over the latch so we wouldn't get stuck again. We informed the front desk on our departer as we were only staying the one night.
The hotel and our room was very clean and the service was awesome during our short stay. However, there is no vent in the bathroom which has caused the paint to chip majorly all within the bathroom.

This was 1 of 2 4 star hotels in the city, that is why I chose it. We were supposed to have adjoining rooms, but in one of the rooms, the sink didn’t drain and the phone didn’t work. The other part of our party was moved to a different floor to find a functional room. During our 3 night stay, our room was NEVER serviced. We were told after the first night that we had to request that the room be serviced, but it still didn’t happen. When we requested clean towels, it took 3 calls and a visit to the desk. After the second night, it took 5 requests over the course of the day. The staff overall, didn’t seem to care. Will not stay there again and would not recommend.
