A pearl in the capital.

Overall, everything was perfect. Especially, bed in our room was excellent. I would rate breakfast as 10/10. And same rating for the kind personnel named Furkan who served our breakfast among your proffesional crew. Our only disappointment was the loud sound we had to exposed untill saturday midnight because of an event. That was an unlucky coincidence for us. But again, overall, everything was perfect. We will consider our next stay in your hotel.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed, and everything seemed to be going perfectly at first. The room was clean and comfortable. However, we were genuinely disappointed to find that the minibar was not complimentary. After paying 14,000 TL for the room, it felt disheartening that such services weren’t included.

Since we had forgotten our phone cable in the car, we requested an iPhone charger. The charger that was sent to us turned out to be a fake, and it didn’t work at all. Because it was late at night, we only realized the issue in the morning and informed the reception. Charging us 600 TL for using a 5W fake charger was shocking. At the very least, we should have been told it wasn’t an original product.

Additionally, we noticed that there were no alcoholic beverages in our minibar. We only realized this when the front desk asked if we had used anything from the minibar. When we inquired, the staff told us that the alcohol was removed from the minibar for the next guest. That explanation surprised us, as we would have expected alcoholic options to be available in our room during our stay.

This was our first time staying at a Marriott, and having so many issues pile up left us quite disappointed. Unfortunately, these experiences took away from what could have been a truly pleasant stay.

Lokasyon olarakta cok iyi , Abd elçilik binasının karşısında .Beni rahatsız eden tek konu ise yan odamda konaklayanların seslerini kulaklık takarak uyumama sebep olacak kadar duymamdi. Bizim için çok sıkıntı olmamakla beraber havalandırma normalden fazla gürültülü idi. Lobi katındaki restoranı kullandık. Daha ferah bir alana alınsa daha da güzel olur.

Five Stars in Ankara

Modern 5 star hotel on par with similar properties in NY, Paris, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong or Bangkok. Superb breakfast and lounge, both inc@Executive level. Spa, pool & fitness all first rate and kept extremely clean, as was all facilities in building. Attentive staff, many of whom in lobby remembered guests' names and taxi destinations. Will return for future visits. Located in modern part of city a bit away from the downtown center, but many restaurants & shops nearby.

I like the lobby and furniture of the room, I don’t like room service Response , I called them several times to order breakfast but no answers .
For the lobby bar , I like the comfort of the seating area but I don’t like the coffee blend, 5 stars hotel like this should use a high quality coffee like ( illy or Lavazza).

Living in Ankara, this was a lovely little extended break for my girlfriend and I for victory day weekend. We stayed from 29th-31st (two separate bookings) and overall it was great. The facilities on offer, the room (Junior Suite) and overall the hotel - were first class. However, the steak restaurant was underwhelming and would definitely deter me from staying again. My steak was both undercooked (rare instead of medium rare) and having ordered a 14oz Rib eye, expected a premium steak. However, the steak was full of fat throughout and the overall quality - was very poor. I raised my concern with the waiter, who took it away to be replaced. However, what came back, was a completely different (and much cheaper, lower quality steak) that was round and had a hole in it. Visibly different, I realised the difference immediately. However, I didn't want to cause a fuss, I just wanted to enjoy a meal with my girlfriend. I expected perhaps a deduction or to be charged for the second (different) steak. However, I was fully charged for 2 Rib eyes. Again, I wasn't going to argue, but the first steak was low quality and fatty, and the second was more like a burger than a 14oz rib eye - so overall, being charged full price for both, I thought it was ridiculous. No apologies from the chef or waiting staff compiled the underwhelming experience. Hotel and Staff in general, were excellent. But definitely let down by the experience in the steak house.

Great hotel but

This is a great 5 star hotel in Ankara. Location is very good close to shopping and restaurants and only few minutes drive from the city center. The rooms are very clean with good quality bedding and modern bathroom and they are sufficiently big. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The biggest problem for me was actually finding the entrance of the hotel. There is construction around the hotel and the entrance is lost. There were no street signs showing the entrance either. I had to circle around a couple times before finding the entrance.. The other problem for me is they charge for wifi. I think wifi is as essential as having pillows in the room so I don't like when hotels charge for it as a means of \"nickle and dime\" the customers.

Best hotel in Ankara

Even though the national football team were staying the same night, the hotel manage to cope with accommodation there normal guest with great style. Steak house is one of the best, but what made the trip was listening to Gabrielle Jeanselme singing and playing the piano at the Sky Vue Bar.

Nice hotel close to ministries/government offices.

Great business hotel. Stayed in the executive suite with access to the lounge. Convenient to have access to business center and snacks/beverages all day such as fruits, cookies, yogurts, bread, as well as water, juices, soft drinks and tea/coffee. Suite is very sleek and modern and a nice size room. Very friendly staff, speaks fluent English, very accomodating. The hotel is open and airy and quiet enough to carry on business discussion in the lobby over tea or coffee. Good meeting place.

One of the best hotels in Ankara

The hotel is palatial.
The room was cleaned very well some days and given a \"cat's lick\" on other days.
The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
The executive upgrade was worth the extra money, with access to the executive suite on the 22nd floor which included good breakfasts and \"free\" drinks and snacks. It also included unlimited wifi access.
Most of Ankara, including the area around the hotel, is a huge building site. I am sure that the city will be very nice when it is finished!
The architects of the hotel made a huge blunder: the swimming pool is on the north side of the hotel. This means that it is in shadow until at least 1:30 pm every day.
The gym is fantastic.

City Hotel with the outdoor pool

We had a great trip to the Marriott Ankara and were very pleased with our choice. Initially we had chosen it for the outdoor pool. We were very lucky with weather having blue skies and hot weather all week which made the pool the hub for our group during free time. The rooms were very spacious including a very comfortable large bed, large TV and desk for those of us who had to do some work while there. The bathrooms were also large and luxurious. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the open kitchen looked immaculate. We chose to eat at the hotel in the evenings also due to the cleanliness. (Some others from our group stayed at other hotels and ate out. Some of them were very sick from something hence we stuck to the Marriott catering and we were fine!) They had comforting levels of security as well with vehicle checks and an airport type scanner at the entrance for bags. The taxi base was really close so taxis could be summoned by the door staff very quickly. There is a modern extensive shopping centre a few minutes walk away for the shoppers. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel overall

This hotel has the wow factor. Never stayed in a JW Marriott before but based on this would do so again. The rooms are huge and comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities excellent. Outdoor pool in a city location is a massive bonus and there is a large indoor pool as well. The gym is the best hotel gym I've ever used. Staff very friendly and attentive but without hovering. Service in the restaurant was not so good, despite there being lots of staff we waited quite a long time. The food was also a little disappointing in the main restaurant, average at best, although the steak restaurant was good. Currently the hotel is in the middle of a building site so quite noisy especially round the outdoor pool and not the best surroundings. It looks as though it will be sometime before this is complete.

Fantastic hotel

Probably the most impressive hotel I've ever stayed in. Although next door to a dusty building site, this didn't detract from the standard of the hotel itself. The outdoor pool is lovely though the hotel grounds are not extensive and there is limited outdoor space. However the indoor pool, spa, gym and all other indoor facilities were first class.

Excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Expensive, though, and you cannot really walk to anywhere from here. Food is superb.

I am writing this from a room on the 12th floor with a panoramic view looking toward the city center. The room is lovely, the food is wonderful, especially the breakfast that comes with some of the room rates. This is a good place to be with a car (and a GPS with up-to-date Turkey maps). It is pricey, though, and the only practical way to tour the city center from here is to take a taxi to an area (sich as the citadel) where you can walk in reasonable safety. Good hotel for business. This is not my first stay here.

The hotel reception staff lack professional training.Upon check in the lady told me that she is giviing us a room upgrade which later proved to be inaccurate.Different staff told me contradicting statements regarding the breakfast location.one told me I must have it in the executive lounge otherwise I will be charged for it,another staff told me I can have it in the lobby level at no extra charge.The matter was resolved later .On the third day of our stay the cappuchino machine was out of order(it took 20 minutes to get the cappuchino from another location).Also there was no fresh orange juice beause the hotel's purchasing department did not buy it.I would not stay at this in the future.The hotel carries marriott logo but not marriott service.The hotel neighbourhood is like a junk yard area.
