Room heating wasnt working, the exhaust fan in the bathroom wasnt working, the hair dryer wasnt working. All in all it was kind of a 3 star hotel, which was dated and teh neighbourhood wasnt all that great.

Stayed here a number of times. Don’t rely on the restaurant or bar being open. It is often closed. This time, because it was a bank holiday on the Tuesday, the restaurant was closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Not really what they advertise.

The property seemed run down. It’s in need of some love and updating. The staff/employees we encountered were all very nice which is so important. The cleanliness of the room was fine; the hallways smelled strongly of industrial cleaner (not a good smell). It’s right off of a major road, so it was very easy to get back on it. The beds (we booked a triple room) were the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. When getting up both mornings of our stay we could barely walk (I’m in my 20’s, my mother is in her 60’s and we were both in an extreme amount of pain). It was raining when we arrived and there is no easy covered pull up spot to drop your bags. We had to carry them up 2 steps then walk along a smooth tile/marble 5 meter walkway get to the front door-extremely slippery in the rain (there was a ramp to the walkway but it’s out of the way when you’re trying to get out of the rain with luggage). All in all, it was fine, but I wouldn’t stay again.

Not a 4 star hotel!
The Mercure is listed as a 4 star hotel and as having airconditioning. Neither are true. They put us in a hot sunny room with no airconditioning at all working. My husband complained numerous times then asked for another room on the other side as there was no sun on that side of the hotel. The service was horrible here and no one wanted to speak english to us it was all french which we could not understand. The only plus was the gym and the sauna.

My trip was business related so I was not impacted by the lack of restaurant etc within the surrounding area. The hotel itself could not be faulted though - clean room, comfortable beds, hot water and attentive staff. I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again for business related matters.

This is certainly not a four star hotel. This is the third time I've stayed here: the second time was okay but this time is the same as the first (you'll notice I always give a place a second chance). The restaurant and bar are never open - no excuse just can't be bothered to open them. This time, after waiting in the bar for 30 minutes for it to open (supposedly at 7pm) I enquired and was told the bar and restaurant are closed for August.

Poor, almost nonexistent Wi-Fi in the guestroom. Website says hotel has fitness center but there are literally four ancient machines which barely work. Basically no bathroom amenities… A tiny bar of soap and no shampoo or lotions etc. For €169 I certainly expected more. In addition the rate did not include breakfast which is generally quite standard at European hotels.

Was looking for somewhere close to Versaille for visit to palace following morning. Arrived late and was pleasantly surprised by standard of accommodation. Very good sized room, comfortable and fittings were recent and to a high standard.

Very helpful staff. Unfortunately, a family room for 2 adults and 2 children doesn't work when the beds consist of one king bed and a sofa bed. A sofa bed doesn't work for an eight and six year old. It would have been better to book a twin room, as a normal double bed would have afforded more space for the children than a sofa bed. Hotel receptionist was very helpful, but couldn't provide a roll away bed. Made for a sleepless night for all!

The best western is a well kept and modern hotel with decent size rooms. It is very expensive compared with what you get in uk hotels and the breakfast is extra. It has a gym downstairs which consists of four aerobic machines but no weights, there is also a sauna. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Only had a quick look around the neighbourhood but couldn't find much in the way of restaurants etc. colleagues have tried other hotels nearby which are cheaper but always come back to this one.

Stayed for one night, the gym is barely a gym - just a couple of run down machines. There is only one English speaking channel on the TV. Breakfast was very poor. Had room service which was a microwave meal!!! Look elsewhere.

En tps normal je suis tres satifait en prenant un Mercure, mais celui-ci pour 154€ sans evenennts particulier autour, 19€ de petit déjeuner et 10€ de supplément en arrivant à 13h30 ald 15h ... comment dire je continue à chercher pourquoi c'est un Mercure ... Ibis rouge/bleu serait plus approprié par rapport à la moyenne de chez Accord.

La suite était assez grande la literie principale correcte et couchage pour la troisième personne un simple canapé transformé.
Le soleil tapant tout l’après-midi, le soir venu la chambre était une véritable étuve que la clim défaillante n’a jamais réussi à rafraîchir.
Le personnel assez peu nombreux est cependant très aimable et serviable.
Le petit déjeuner servi en buffet est copieux bon et assez varié.

Gros point négatif : le lit double était en réalité 2 lits simples rapprochés ! Sauf qu'ils sont sur roulettes. Donc impossible de dormir à 2 sans que les lits s'écartent.. et en plus les lits grincent au moindre mouvement..
