Good overall but some real drawbacks.

Excellent location. Excellent private parking in garage ( at a cost of 14 E per night ).. good breakfast but expensive at 15E per person. Room 306 was just about a double but comparatively small. Bed really comfortable. Toilet minuscule with no door. Shower basin very slippery ( we had to place a towel on the base to prevent falling. Lift barely takes 2 bodies and only 1 if with heavy baggage.

Hotel is in a great location in the historic town of Dinan. there are plenty of restaurants within close walking distance; likewise, the interesting features of the town are all walkable. Indeed, the Chateau is on the other side of the road.

The staff were genuinely welcoming and really helpful. Whilst tight due to the massive double bed, the room also had an en-suite bathroom and shower, as well as being equipped with hair drier and kettle. There was a small bar in the reception area, but not really a lounge facility. The dining room only served breakfast, which offer a wide choise for the cold buffet and some warm items as well. Parking for the car was under cover was below the hotel and secured at night.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel and would recommend it for a stay in Dinan.

The situation of the hotel , so close to the bustling heart of the town.
The only negative point I would make is that rooms facing the château are right next to a busy road and it can be noisy especially onThursdays as it is market day in Duguesclin square.

Small hotel on a busy street but no traffic at night! Our room was small but lovely view of rooftops. Friendly staff, most excellent breakfast. Only grumble is only 2 (herbal!) tea bags, 2 sachets coffee,no milk, and not keen on hot drinks in cardboard cups or plastic beakers in bathroom. Surely not that eco friendly…

A fabulous hotel in a great location

A great visit to Dinan, and a fabulous hotel a short walk to the old town. Free parking at the back of the castle which is virtually opposite the hotel. The hotel itself was clean, a lovely room with a large comfortable bed. I liked that the tea in the room was herbal and there was also a small bottle if water which was a great addition. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location - right in the centre. Dinan is such a charming town and well worth a visit. Room was clean and well laid-out. Bed very comfortable. Nice view of the roof-tops too. Staff were helpful - I had reserved a parking space and they kindly marked it with my name - very useful! Only downside was that breakfast was not included and the room rate was a little pricey.

The room was different than the actual reservation; configuration was not as expected / sold on line which was a disappointment. A/c in rooms is non existent. Rooms are clean but very small; only one small pillow per person and the TV screen is the size of a PC about 24\". The room was not quiet and could hear the cars from the street. Service was welcoming and the location is good but the hotel is just ok.

Great hotel. Right net to the Chateau to see in Dinan. Good walking distance to places to eat and to the center of town. Overrall, the staff was amazing. The breakfast is a good start to the day. The room was very clean, orderly, and the bathroom good sized. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, new hotel.

This hotel seems to be run by young staffers who are multilingual, but cannot always be found. We waited quite a while for someone to show up when we arrived at check-in. One of them seemed on the rude side, but maybe I'm just reading into her behavior too much.

The breakfast is pretty average, nothing to write home about. It is available for an additional charge.

We got the top floor room in the back, which is probably the only room that will fit four people. Our kids enjoyed going up the spiral staircase to the two loft beds. Our view out the window was nice too, with views of all the Dinan rooftops.

The bathroom was functional and clean. WiFi was spotty in that location, so it was best to go down to the lobby for decent bandwidth.

Security was good, and they provided us with a parking space in their underground lot.

Be sure to try out the tiniest elevator in existence.

Enjoyed the stay despite the rather frosty reception we received from the young lady on reception, the one in the evening was much better, she even smiled!
The rooms were rather small but perfectly adequate for a short stay, and very clean with comfortable beds and beding.

Fabulous little town and excellent hotel

The hotel is very nicely appointed. , It's tricky to get to on a one way street- best to turn off at the street before and approach from the back. The staff were extremely helpful. We loved the town and the hotel. It's a little pricier than some, but worth it. If you want hotel parking, book it in advance. . Otherwise there is free parking quite close, but it fills up on weekends.

Almost perfect ...

A really well located hotel just a short walk from the centre of Dinan. Beds were really comfortable and we all slept really well in spite of some traffic noise. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the reception staff were very helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities would have earned it a 10/10.

Very nice and comfortable

The hotel is across the street from the castle and the Tourist Office. Parking is under the hotel and easy to access. We walked all over Dinan centre ville from the hotel, just 3 blocks away. Bed very comfortable and bathroom had both a bathtub and a separate shower.

Nous avions réservé cet hôtel car il proposait une recharge pour véhicule électrique dans son parking avec charge rapide.
Malheureusement au bout d’une nuit ( 12h) malgré la prise triphasé, la batterie n’etait pas rechargé complètement. Au meme prix d’une charge rapide sur la voix publique a 100m pour 4h
