All good. Room was clean, and big. Bathroom was clean too and comfortable with a shower tray. We just missed some tea, coffee kettle facilities in the bedroom but there was a coffee machine in the reception area, a vending machine and a microwave, which were all very convenient.

I chose the hotel based on being able to park my car and it being an easy drive to the centre of St Malo. The hotel and room was clean, staff approachable. A budget hotel, with a comfortable bed. A good choice for one or two nights if you are travelling through France. The creperie recommended by the hotel was excellent, good value and friendly staff with 10% discount if you showed your hotel card.

A good place to stay, approximately 15 minutes from the ferry terminal. Staff were friendly and checking in was easy. As well as the onsite breakfasts there's a choice of 3 other places to eat, including a McDonald's for coffees, important as no kettle in the room. Just one big problem for us was the aircon failing in the night. However the night staff couldn't have been more helpful and we were soon transferred to a different room for the rest of the night.

Ok hotel but no air condition as advertised!

Clean hotel which boasts air conditioning. Was told on check in each room had its own regulator however no such thing was found in the room and it was exceedingly hot overnight. Luckily the windows opened! On the night we were there the hotel had an issue with no hot water. Was up and gone too early the following morning to check if it had been mended. Clearly not deliberate, but very irritating!

Family room was very spacious, we appreciated the bunks for the children rather than pull out/fold out beds. Arrived at 7pm and managed to park the car with large trailer, car park very full by 9pm so advise early arrival if with a trailer. Friendly staff. Didn’t have breakfast in hotel. Pizza and burger places are adjacent. Easy 12 min drive to St Malo ferry port.

Good Value for money, a little out of town.

The only fault was as with all B&B hotels, the bed is not the most comfortable. The staff were extremely pleasant and had no problem in providing an extra Pillow. Mc Donalds is right next door and a large Cora supermarket a few hundred metres away. It is a bit out of St. Malo (about 10Km) but that way you avoid city centre traffic and pay a more reasonable price. The internet was reasonably fast, the only annoyance being having to log back in every hour or so. The room was very quiet.

exactly what was needed for an overnight stop

We stopped for one night on our way to our ferry, and found the hotel quickly just 5 minutes off the motorway. Loads of parking for the car and trailer and a very welcoming staff at reception. The room was large and very comfortable with great facilities. Personally would have liked a kettle and tea making facility in the room but a reasonable vending machine was available. All together we were delighted with our choice of hotel and intend to stay again next year.

Good location for sightseeing.

We booked the B&B St Malo for a two night stay in Brittany to visit the old town of St Malo and Le Mont St Michel. The room was suitable for our purpose and was clean. We booked the breakfast and found this to be good value for money.
We stayed in a family room which included a large kingsize bed and two bunk beds. The hotel was quiet and had free parking outside the hotel.
We did have a problem finding the hotel in the first place as the road is not recognised on the SATNAV.

A good basic motel. Very clean. Room was very basic but spacious and comfortable for a family stay. Double bed was large, whilst kids bunk beds were also pretty spacious with room for them to sit up in (14 & 16). Pillows were a bit small and the option of an extra would have been appreciated. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but available in reception. Good English spoken by staff we met. Simple breakfast available. Only 15 mins from ferry terminal.

Clean and unpretentious

It is an unpretentious and anonymous chain hotel, but as such, it does its job well. If you want room service and lots of attention then go elsewhere, but if you want a cheap, clean, overnight stay with a decent continental breakfast then this hotel will provide it. We just stayed overnight to catch the early ferry next day. There is a decent Pizzeria opposite for an evening meal and a Creperie in the village, though if you want a more ambitious meal you will need to use your car.
