Stayed here for a very quick stop gap, arriving late at night and leaving very early. We did not have time to use facilities, but from what I experienced, the hotel was very nice. Rooms were good, very well kept and nicely designed. Staff were very friendly and helped us organise a taxi for the morning (despite it being 10pm on a Sunday night and having to ring around 6 or 7 taxi firms!). If I re-vist St Malo, I'd definitely stay here again.

The location couldn't be better for wandering the beach and for walking into the town walls. This is a top-notch operation and it shows in every aspect. Wonderful place to stay in Saint-Malo. It is outside the city walls but within a 10-minute walk. Beautiful sea front location. We opted for the balcony room and that was a terrific decision. Breakfast in the mornings, and wine in the evenings. The onsite restaurant and bar were very nice and good. On site parking made it easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Hotel and the parking is excellent which is very useful in St Malo. It is a bit of a walk to the centre but its a nice location right on the beach. The Breakfast was extra which is always disappointing in a hotel and they also didn't leave bottled water which is something I like in a hotel when staying for the night. The swimming pool is tiny and a very small balcony on the room which can hardly fit anyone. Would have been nice to have some outdoor space for this cost but this was a very comfortable hotel.

Lovely hotel and staff. Pool is not for swimming, it’s too small. We stayed in a quite spacious, superior room facing the marina, not sure how big the standard rooms are. The bar is very comfortable. If you take the demi pension, at dinner you only have two choices for each course. The director kindly gave us a lift to the walled town (15 mins walk) as the hurricane had just hit and they’re were no taxis that night.

Very nice hotel with wonderful views of the Atlantic. Staff was very friendly and overall we enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it. Only complaint is that the air conditioning would not go lower than 22 degrees C, which many Americans would not consider comfortable for sleeping.

We booked the hotel for the first night of our honeymoon but broke down on the French motorway about two hours away from the hotel meaning we could not get there by any means. I spoke with the hotel who advised they could help but I had to go through ebookers customer service. I did this and ebookers then stated they spoke to the hotel who’s policy it was was to not allow any form of rearrangement or refund. Awful hotel with no empathy hiding behind a travel booking website.

Nice property and a fine hotel. I would say the level of service is definitely at four star not five, but our room was comfortable and had plenty of room. We paid a lot for the sea view and enjoyed it. Room service was okay but not great. The pool area was nice but not a swimming pool; instead more a relaxation area with jets and jacuzzi (but not hot water). Parking was easy. To add a down side, the road in front of the room (aka just below our room) was under construction starting at 8am each day. This caused some difficulties walking along the road to the old city but still workable. Overall the view was beautiful.

We arrived early for check in and was told that the room wasn’t ready so we went to the hotel restaurant for a lovely lunch. When we went back to the desk at check in time, we were given a key to our room. We went to the room and it had not been cleaned. My husband went back to the front desk and was assured it would not take long and for us to go to the bar for a complimentary drink. No one came to get us so after an hour, we told the bar waiter that we were leaving and he said that we owed him for the one alcoholic drink that we had requested. We said that he could talk with the front desk as we had been told any drinks were complimentary. Not a good star of our vacation!

We decided to spend our honeymoon in what was supposed to be the perfect hotel. the first day the carpark gate detached and fell in front of us. On the 2nd day my new wife woke up with multiple beg bugs bites on her whole body (we have the pictures). The hotel brought in a professional team to deal with the bugs and cleaning, meaning we were unable to access the room during our stay.
We came back at the end of the day with the staff unaware of our situation, all our belongings thrown on the desk and bathroom of the new room (including the wedding shoes stuffed in a big bag with all the other dirty shoes). We had to tidy our belongings in our room to be in the state we left it in our previous room.
Thereafter the assistant director (Mme Duval) and her manager kept putting the blame on us, insinuating we brought the bedbugs despite only having bites 2 nights after arriving. It became a daily fight to result in only having one night, room service and parking reimbursed. This simply is not the level of service and treatment we would accept from a 4 star premium hotel especially on such a special occasion. We were grateful for receiving some help with the freezing of our clothes and monetary compensation however it was not sufficient enough for the stress caused. We were ill treated for something that wasn’t our fault.

Thereafter the assistant director (Mme Duval) and her manager kept putting the blame on us, insinuating we brought the bedbugs despite only having bites 2 nights after arriving. It became a daily fight to result in only having one night, room service and parking reimbursed. This simply is not the level of service and treatment we would accept from a 4 star premium hotel especially on such a special occasion. We were grateful for receiving some help with the freezing of our clothes and monetary compensation however it was not sufficient enough for the stress caused. We were ill treated for something that wasn’t our fault.

There was no alternative to spending 20 euros per person for the full breakfast when all we wanted was coffee and a croissant. The best part about this hotel is its location. The worst is its food options. There are no cafés or simple casual places for small bite. There is no work out or fitness room. It is the most expensive hotel we stayed in with the fewest amenities.

Location across the beach is just 10 minute walk from the town off a pretty sea wall sidewalk.Beautiful spacious rooms with toilette separate from the shower. Not all rooms have a shower so be sure to phone the day before to confirm your preference ( shower or bath tub). I only indicated the request on my reservation booking and ended having to pay more at check in to get both rooms with showers. Very few restaurants next to the hotel but you go to St Malo to enjoy the town! Very nice people at the front desk .
