Pleasant staff. Floor had sand left on it. Rooms need air conditioning, it was too hot and had difficulty sleeping. Shower head would not stay in place, kept falling down. No where to put your things in the shower. On the plus side they have a lock up garage for bikes.

Very nice hotel in the centre of old/tourist area. Walk from the train is about 15 minutes. Otherwise all the restaurants, the ramparts and all the tourist stuff is right next door so you can pop in your room any time if you forget something, etc. Two comments: the water in the shower is set to a certain maximum to avoid the waste I think. So it was coldish and rainy during my visit and I would like hotter water to warm up. In the sink the water gets really hot. Second: I put \"do not disturb\" sign meaning no housekeeping and the chambermaid wanted still to go in and clean.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel où nous avions 2 chambres communicantes. Le personnel à la réception où au petit déjeuner est pro, accueillant, et empli de gentillesse. Les matelas étaient très confortables, les chambres très propres et parfaites pour nous, les produits en salle de bain de bonne qualité. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly, and there was a bathtub in my room, which was perfect. The hotel is located at very central in the old city area so it’s so easy to walk around. I’d definitely come back to this hotel!!

Think carefully, if you have a small(ish) car

Check in was very poor. Event going on in town and all public parking full. Asked to use hotel car park but was told my 4.9m long Jaguar was too long (later saw much larger Audi in car park!! Was told to go to public car park (which was full). Solved problem by leaving and returning two hours later. SO CHECK IN TOOK ME TWO HOURS!! I took a good look at car park and no way was I too long!!

Great spot, but really noisy

The hotel is in a great spot within the walls of St Malo, with dining and bar options nearby. Unfortunately it is also very close to the nightclub, and the noise from that was very audible from midnight until the early hours of the morning, which made for a bad sleep.

Very clean, modern hotel inside the fortified city of St. Malo. Bathrooms were particularly nice, especially for France. Breakfast not with the 13 euros; lots of dining options nearby; tanka walk and enjoy. Pack lightly as St. Malo is better on foot. It’s difficult to get luggage in and out of the hotel, but there is a loading zone - then you typically need to park outside the walls.

My family of four shared an apartment. Very basic but clean and reasonably priced. Great shower! No maid service so be prepared to do your own house keeping. You are warned about this so it isn't a criticism. Friendly and helpful reception staff who speak English. Excellent!

Our stay at Hotel The Originals Saint-Malo des Marins was excellent! The hotel is perfectly located for walking throughout the city. The staff was very professional and friendly and were gracious with our lack of the French language. They even made dinner reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant for our evening there. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We will return there for sure! Highly recommend!

This is a lovely hotel well situated within the city walls. They have a few parking spots on site that are a little tight getting in and out of but luckily they are close to the city gate so you can unload luggage and access a public lot just a few minutes’ walk away. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of all the most memorable places.
It is extremely modern and clean.
The only reason I am not giving it the highest rate is because there was no AC and it was hot when we went with no breeze coming in with the windows opened.

Nice hotel in the center of lovely St. Malo. Easy walking to restaurants, beach, city walls, etc. Parking available nearby. While the room was small it accommodated our needs. Hotel had a small elevator but no air conditioning. When the windows were open the noise from the street was quite loud making it difficult to sleep. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

This was an excellent place to stay within the village but they really need to boost their Wi-Fi. My great grandmother is from Saint Malo so it was wonderful going to this beautiful town.
