Stay here if you can. The property is absolutely gorgeous (including the pool), the service is top-notch (what could be cozier than welcome sables and turndown service?), and Pourquoi Pas is one of the best meals I’ve ever had the privilege to enjoy. It’s downright charming to walk down to the Sunset Bar, Dinard village or the Clair de Lune. It’s honestly flawless, and an incredible value for money.

This is a beautiful luxury resort with gorgeous views across the harbor and close access to ferry to St. Malo or Cancale. Good walkable nearby places to eat. You must reserve the hotel restaurant way in advance; it is oh so well worth it.

Excellent choice for our stay in Dinard

We arrived at the hotel and unfortunately no one was there to meet us but so we were unsure where to park etc. We did find someone and he assisted us with our luggage.
We were warmly greeted by Katerina and her colleague and were shown round the hotel and then taken to our lovely Prestige Terrace Room which was spacious bright and decorated in an eclectic style but was very comfortable. The room had been set up as per my requirements and we were presented with a voucher for a glass of champagne for our anniversary.
We had dinner in the bar as the restaurant was closed and the food was of a very good standard and service polite and professional.
We loved the small and intimate feel of the hotel and staff were friendly welcoming and professional.

One of our most favorite hotels!

One of our most favorite hotel stays. We had a room with terrace and everything about it was superb. Our room had a private in room sauna, after a few hectic days in Paris, this was perfect. One of our most favorite activities here was the lunch on the boat. We were fortunate enough that no one else booked it when we did so we had a private boat+lunch anchored near shore. Nickolas was our captain and he was great! Everyone there was warm and helpful. Should absolutely stay at Castelbrac and check out Dinard/Saint Malo. Oh, and definitely go to Ombelle for dinner!!!

Incredible location, exceptional harbor view from our room! Overall, a wonderful property! However, we did feel uninformed about some of the amenities such as the availability of spa services, fitness areas, Castelbrac boat cruises and reservation of their courtesy vehicle. Somehow the necessary information was not conveyed to us at check-in leaving us a bit underwhelmed in the service component.

Spectacular position.

The hotel was in an excellent, spectacular position overlooking the sea. It does however suffer from refurbishing an existing, rather difficult building, however the interior design didn’t help. We had a very pleasant stay here in a room with fabulous views over the water..

Luxury romance

The customer service was outstanding. Even offered to give us a lift to the recommended restaurant. View over bay was breath taking and delicious welcome cocktail. Room was superb and really close to ferry over to SaintMalo for a day trip. Did not use the restaurant. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again. Was one of the best hotels we started in during our Brittany road trip.

Stylish, impossibly chic and incredible views

Castelbrac is a fabulous, stylish and chic hotel where every details has been thought about. As someone who travels a lot, I am often underwhelmed by hotels, but at Castelbrac I was blown away by the stylish details, from the pontoon to swim to, the rock pool cut into the sea, the bikes for gusts to use around town and the huge terrace overlooking the sea I could easily have stayed for months. The only reason I have not given full marks is because there was a droning noise coming from out Air Conditioner which we alerted staff to multiple times but which was not fixed and kept us awake at night. Also, there are only four sun loungers for the entire hotel and so a few more would be better for guests. Other than that, a perfect place.

Perfect hotel to enjoy the waterfront in Brittany

I loved this hotel!!! It is located right over the waterfront walkway with St Malo in the distance. The rooms all face the water and moored boats. Our room was spacious and bright with a lovely large bathroom including deep comfy tub. The toilet is in it's own enclosure. The decor was charming with attention to detail. There is a common seating area in another building which also houses the restaurant and bar. DInner was scrumptious! A shout out to Cedric at the front desk who was always availible for help in recommending places to visit, restaurants and all around tips to enjoy the area, all of which were spot on. Castelbrac is a real gem!

This hotel is worth every penny. The views across to St. Malo are fantastic. The location is convenient to Le Mont Saint Michel and St. Malo. The staff is outstanding. They do everything possible to make sure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Stay in Dinard and take the boat to/from St Malo

Very interesting hotel, especially architecturally and how it is situated on the bluffs above the sea. How can you say anything bad about a hotel that gives you caviar when you check out? That was a nice touch. I wish that we had booked a larger room, in hindsight. Ours felt just a bit too public because it faced a walkway that was busy both with staff and guests, so we kind of learned to keep our curtains shut on that side of the room. Our only real complaint was that there was some confusion about the breakfast. The information in our room suggested that we could buy a la carte but the receptionist told us that we had to purchase the full buffet which was 24 euros each, as I recall. So, we opted to go out for breakfast every morning which was a nice way to see more of the town.

Dinard intimate luxury

Service is fantastic. Hotel is brand new with modern art deco set up. Owners turned this castel like villas and former dinard acquarium into a cosy and sofisticated luxury hotel. Only minor criticism would go to the restaurant ( great view) where the dishes are not amaizing given the price, and dish size is more like tasting size. The small spa offers very comfortable set up with a great deal of massage and treatment choices. We woukd totally recommend this hotel. Again the personnel goes above and beyond with extreme friendlyness.

Elegant och vackert.

Ett mycket elegant hotell beläget rent magiskt vid klipporna och havet. Vårt rum hade en fantastisk utsikt över havet med många guppande förtöjda båtar och på avstånd St Malo. Rummet elegant och på samma gång hemtrevligt och ombonat. Badrum med en härlig Spakänsla med fina produkter.

Vår vistelse var tyvärr kort, endast en natt på vår roadtrip i Bretagne. Hade givetvis velat njuta mera av rummet och omgivningarna. Promenerade i stan på kvällen, som då kändes sömnig men sannolikt på grund av att säsongen inte riktigt satt igång. Men otroligt vackert!

Frukosten på morgonen var mycket välsmakande och elegant där man fick välja på olika menyer som serverades. Kan dock tycka att för priset 35 € kan ett glas champagne eller liknande ingå samt även att man tillfrågas om man önskar mera kaffe/te. Vi åt tyvärr inte på stjärnrestaurangen. Fick heller ingen förfrågan vid bokningen om vi önskade boka bord? Ett litet minus var också att baren stängde 22:30. Vi kom vid åtta tiden och behövde fräscha upp oss innan vi hade tänkt ta en drink och något lätt att äta i baren. När vi kom dit vid kvart i tio var det tomt och en dammsugare stod framme, vilket indikerade att det var stängt. Så med tanke på att det är ett lyxhotell hade vi förväntat oss att det finns något att äta på hotellområdet större delen av dygnet.

Men så klart en mycket fin kväll och en god natts sömn i ett fint och elegant rum i fantastisk omgivning och med jättegod frukost.
