From start to finish, the experience was brilliant. We were given a warm welcome, the lady showed us the room herself, the room was of very high quality (oak and brass doors and furnishings) and the meal in the restaurant was amazing - food and friendliness of staff! Breakfast was self-service and of very high quality - fresh-baked croissants, etc. The staff, again, were very polite and accommodating, and the final checkout was warm and courteous. Our room did overlook a level crossing, but the window shut out the sound perfectly. It was just a lovely hotel!

Very nice hotel, at a very reasonable price. Amandine on reception was very helpful and gave us a tour of the facilities. Room was very traditionally decorated, bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Very nice indoor swimming pool. Hotel is right next to a train station, very convenient for a short train ride to St. Malo. Restaurant very expensive so didn’t try it. Bar had no atmosphere which was a shame, and service in the bar was incredibly slow. Overall we enjoyed our very comfortable stay and very good value. We will return in the future

We stayed overnight before catching the ferry to UK next evening. Very comfortable hotel. Excellent food in the bistro. The food was good value, considering the quality and the service, but quite pricey. Breakfast service was understaffed and ran out of the very good bread and viennoiserie by 09.45.

I liked the amazing food in the brasserie, the big bed room, luxury bed linen, the large shower, impressive grounds, helpful friendly English speaking staff and the swimming pool. location is very convenient for the ferry crossing.
I do think the pool should be open before breakfast. It is healthy to swim before if you can. I recommend 8am.
Didn't like the noise of the traffic much because of the busy road near by and would request quieter room next time. Plus we were disappointed there was no dairy free spread for my husband at breakfast. However we will return again.

This hotel is lovely. We were only there unexpectedly for two nights due to a car breakdown and we’re busy doing things so didn’t eat there or use the facilities- pool and jacuzzi looked fab- but the reception staff we dealt with were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful

The suite was lovely. Great size and very clean. Unfortunately, we didn’t book to eat in the restaurant in advance and there is no room service so we had to go out food hunting.
The WiFi was appalling. The only place we could access it in the suite was the bedroom where my two year old was asleep so we had to use data roaming to access the forms we had to complete for our return to the UK.

The hotel rooms were a little \"tired\", as was the pool and spa. However, the room was comfortable. A car is necessary for a stay at this hotel as it is some kilometres to the nearest towns of Cancale and Saint Malo. The hotel restaurant is Michelin rated and the food and service were excellent. This was also reflected in the quality and choice of food for breakfast.

Needed a hotel close to St Malo for an early crossing following a week in the Vendee. Didn't fancy the 5.30am start it would have taken to reach the ferry the same morning.
Superb hotel. Incredible diner. Excellent service.

Well presented.
Our room overlooked the railway so we did experience train noise but we knew this in advance. The AC in our room was not powerful enough to cool the room so we had to open the windows which let in more noise but it was better for sleeping. Room was spacious and parking excellent.

Well kept hotel with good facilities. Our Room was in an annexe building which made our stay very pleasant. My only complaint was that I felt the hotel was a little too formal as we were using it on a vacation ie dress code for dinner & breakfast. Better that though than not caring enough. Prices for food and drinks also on the high side considering the wide choice of restaurants available within a few km drive.

Hotel states it has a lift but on arrival was told our room was on the 2nd floor in the annexe as booking through expedia the cheapest rooms are given. I had phoned the hotel directly to book dinner and check the lift access for the room and was told this was ok.
After a delay they offered us a room which had lift access and paid a supplement of 20 Euros. Dinner was ok but not outstanding and expensive.
We were not impressed with the hotel and have stayed in better hotels and paid less......... a very disappointing stay and will not be returning.

Don't be put off by how close you are to the railway station, we didn't notice any disturbance and I'm a light sleeper.

Close to Mont Saint-Michel and St. Malo
We were surprised to find this comfortable, modern hotel seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were modern and comfortable (although one smelled of cigarette smoke) and the restaurant was excellent, although a bit pricey. The indoor pool was nice, although the whirlpool heater was out of order. We drove the next day to St. Malo and were hoping to find a breakfast stop along the way, but there is really nothing in the near vicinity.

Well run hotel and newly refurbished to a good standard. Food is very good but it's an expensive place to eat and it has an extensive wine list but with very few cheaper wines to choose from. Overall I'm not sure the quality of our meal quite matched the price tag but a very good place to eat and stay all the same. Enjoy for a special occasion.

I stayed one of the small number of cheaper rooms. When I arrived at the hotel I was surprised by the luxury of the hotel in comparison to the low price that I paid. It turns out that they have a couple of rooms that they charge less for but they are still very nice rooms and I was completely satisfied.

This hotel is of great quality. It was perfect for us. The only let down is the quality of the mattresses in the cottage. I am sure the rest of the hotel and other rooms are comfortable. But better mattresses in the cottages should have been better.

Be Wary of the 'Cottage'
On the whole, our stay was very good... BUT... beware.. We booked the hotel based on the fact we required a room for 4... we were told that we would be in a COTTAGE - now, in the UK we would expect this to be an annexe of the hotel with full hotel service.. this is not so in France.. the COTTAGE was in fact a Lodge a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, but had no towels.. and, indeed, no 'maid' service.. Not knowing this fact, we had only taken beach towels with us; we informed reception, and after a short discussion we were issued with towels (and bathroom goodies) and told that we would be treated like guests staying in the hotel.. (we never did get the room cleaned in the week). The other facilities were fine - bar, pool etc... and getting into St. Malo was easy with the station on the doorstep (just the frequency of the trains was a problem - not the hotel's fault).

Very good hotel, convenient for the area around St. Malo. Rooms are good, worth paying extra for a better room as some of the cheaper rooms only have dormer windows in the roof. Lovely swimming pool area. Staff very pleasant and speak English if needed. A big hotel, next to a little railway station but noise is not an issue.

A good hotel for St malo although noisy as on a main road. A good stopover with a fabulous restaurant unless your have vegetarians in your party as there is nothing on the menu for non meat/fish eaters.

we stayed for three nights and loved the swimming pool there. Quite, clean and open until late. Our room is relatively small but it's clean. The hotel itself is very easy to find as well.

Excellent hotel with pool and spa pool. Food at hotel was not cheap but was excellent. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a comfortable stay close to st Malo. Only negative was small but there was no tea/coffee making in room also no drinking water.

We found this hotel via the site and it was a very pleasant surprise. They put us in the new rooms, very well decorated. We had the chance to enjoy the pool, which is heated and quite large.

I was only at this hotel for about 12 hours, but it was very nice. They apparently gave me an upgrade without asking me, but then tried to charge me for it. I brought it to their attention and the corrected the bill. There is also a restaurant attached, but I didn't have a chance to try it.

A hidden Gem!
Didn't know about this hotel and i saw it first here at hotels.com. My good friend Bernard recomended it and i do the same here. If you have a car ( you have to) everything is close: a few minutes from Cancale or St., Malo for diner or a couple of more for Dinard or Dinan. There's a train station right in front of the hotel but the insulation is superb so, no noise. You can catch a train if you wish tough...

Unable to find anyone when I arrived but after about 5 minutes two staff appeared and from then on it was a fab experience. The room was lovely and a nice shower room too. good wifi and tv in room and a nice big window with a view of the train station running from st Malo to Rennes which is right outside the hotel. I did not eat at the restaurant but it looked lovely and the menu looked good. Hotel has a lift and the layout is pleasant.

Nous nous attendions à une salade de fruits frais dans un tel établissement. Il manquait aussi des produits au petit-déjeuner. Le reste était parfait. Le personnel à l'écoute et sympathique.

Personnel très aimable et disponible. Un grand jardin entouré l’hôtel dans lequel il y a des poissons et des poules ainsi qu’une table de ping pong pour le plus grand plaisir des enfants. La chambre pour 4 est spacieuse, la literie est confortable. C’était top d’avoir une douche et une baignoire dans la salle de bain. Si j’étais très exigeante, je dirai qu’il est dommage que des petites finitions ne soient pas faites et que l’eau du jacuzzi ne soit pas un peu plus chaude.

Très belle expérience
Très bon accueil, propreté irréprochable, chambre très confortable pour 3 personnes (couple+enfant de 9ans). Sans oublier le bon petit dej 😉 À 20mn de St Malo, pratique pour visiter la région. En face d'une gare mais calme absolu. Nous sommes restés qu'une nuit, du coup pas le temps d'essayer la piscine, le spa...et d'autres services que propose ce bel hôtel. On reviendra avec grand plaisir.
