The checkin using the electronic entrance system was again poor requiring me to call the central concierge system. If you are not going to staff reception at least have an operating alternative.
All the car chargers were non operational.

B&B hotel is near a busy road. However, once the door is closed, we could not hear the noise from the cars. The hotel is in front of a shopping centre, which is very convenient for buying breakfast on the go (as we did). There is no restaurant nearby but, by car, St Malo city centre is only few minutes away

La chambre de base est parfaite pour une nuitée de passage car il n'y a qu'un lit et salle de bain (douche et toilette). Pas de frigo. Par contre, si vous prenez le petit déjeuner, celui-ci est copieux et beaucoup de choix : pains, croissants, oeufs, bacon, fromage, confitures, yaourt, café etc. Le tout était excellent et le service très bien avec gens souriants.

Tiny room but functional

This is fine for an overnight stay. My wife and I were on an extended trip (3 months) and so had two large suitcases, cabin size luggage x 2 and shoulder bags. It was quite a struggle to fit our luggage and us into the space available. However, all that aside we coped. The receptionist was extremely helpful, assisting us to book a taxi for an early morning departure to catch the Condor ferry to Jersey.

Very easy to find on way into Saint Malo. Very convenient for ferry. Right next to a shopping centre with good supermarket. But not cheap,no kettle and dire warnings not to leave anything in the car overnight!

Basic small room with a decent bed. The check in is complicated when using Reservations made through Hotels.com. From 11am to 5pm the check in is via a kiosk outside. Unfortunately, reservation number for the hotel is different from the hotels.com reservation number. There is a help button, but it is both slow to respond and more complicated than you’d expect.

We only arrived late at night coming from the ferry - so we didn't spend too much time there. All we needed was a place to shower and sleep before continuing on our journey the next day. I had read a review previously comparing the room with a prison cell. When we arrived we both laughed as yes it did look a bit like that. However, it was clean and comfortable, and served its purpose. Check in was really easy as we had been given a code for our room. The reservation staff were really helpful prior to our arrival and gave us all the info we needed. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and found it to be a good price.

Overall room was great, but sadly NO Kettle and apparently none available!! Despite me explaining I am disabled with limited mobility I was given a small cup of hot water to try and carry to my room bare in mind I ad my hands full with my puppy, and being unsteady on my feet the cup was half full time I got back to my room! Next issue was I went back to reception to book breakfast and mistakenly only had 8.20€ instead of the full 8.50€ I asked if I could bring it in the morning and was told \"No it's not far to your room to go back and get it,\" despite seeing how unstable I am on my feet I feel it's a very untrusting facility for 0.30cents, I'm sure I will think again when booking my next trip to St Malo.

Arrived and saw a huge sign advising not to leave items in vehicle due to security issues. Entered the room which looked just ok but hard mattress. Looked around for AC-it was 90 and I’d walked a great deal. No AC. Window? But no screens. So I’m supposed to stay in a 90 degree airless room.. The desk attendant says I can leave my window open at night. On the 2nd floor, where anyone could be. I say, “Call me a cab.” Now the attendant was nice enough and helped me. But I’d also received a text that said this hotel was not staffed 24 hours a day. So—-if you’re doing St. Malo, spend some extra cash and go to the waterfront port area, perhaps within the walls!

the hotel did the job of being cheap and giving us a bed for the night before catching the ferry the next day. The room was very compact with a basic bathroom. Being in a family room it was good that the kids had their own space up a set of small steps. There were a butch of young adults who were drunk and making a lot of noise going between their rooms until about 11:30

Good value, accessible budget hotel

This is a motel style hotel with easy access to the hypermarket area of St Malo. Easy parking and clean, simple budget accommodation. Good wi fi, TV and accessible. Reasonable value for money and the breakfast looked good too. Bus stops into the centre are nearby, as parking near the walls is difficult in high season. Great as a pre / post ferry stopover.

The hotel was just what I expected. Clean, adequate accommodation with a good breakfast included offering more choices than most hotels in France. There was good parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small and basic. Wifi was good. To go to the old walled port town was an easy bus ride (so no parking issues there) and the staff told us where to catch the bus.

The hotel was reasonably priced, in a good location , was very clean with a good reasonably priced breakfast. The beds were comfortable with nice white linens. We could not leave the main floor window open because it opened on to a walkway that was accessed by anyone.
Therefore the room was very stuffy. The main floor room was very crowded. The loft area was more spacious but it needed a Television.

This hotel is well placed for an overnight stay when taking the ferry to Jersey or Portsmouth. It is clean and well maintained. The manager was friendly and helpful. Although in a fairly remote part of the city, security was adequate and we felt safe and secure. We will be using this hotel again.

Very simple basic room. Bed very hard. The building is located next to main road into St-Malo. Traffic noise is a issue in the rooms nearest the road, noise from other guests was also very audible. No A/C in the room, and only small window that opens onto walkway. The building is (what I would call) a American motel design, with the rooms opening out onto the external walkways

The hotel is not very attractive from the outside, it has no restaurant and the rooms are small. However, it is very clean, the breakfast is very good and available from early to late. There is a frequent and inexpensive bus route to the Intra Muros (but it does not run after about 8pm. The only member of staff that I spoke to was very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Not able to open window overnight as full opening option only. No air con so uncomfortable and stuffy in room. U secure parking. Normally secure compound at B&B but open access here in a rougher area of St Malo. People smoking out of rooms on the gantries. No smoking on site would be good. Room generally clean but needs upgrading and decorating. Surprised they allow pets in the rooms. May rethink to another hotel next time. Breakfast fine for the money. Inter marche next door so you could grab some croissants or otherwise if you didn't want the breakfast.

Déçu... Quel boucan!

Une insonorisation mentionnée comme excellente, mais on entendais chaque bruit de nos voisins, et tout les bruits de dehors, impossible de dormir sans boulquies. La lumière forte allumer la nuit dans tout les couloirs c'est insupportable la nuit. Pas de serviette pour les mains dans la sdb.

Raramente mi è capitato di trovare una struttura più risicata e ciò nonostante costosa. Una delle camere da me affittate non è stata nemmeno rifatta fra una notte e la successiva.. e poi, un solo asciugamano a TESTA a disposizione! Il tutto su una strada a grande scorrimento… peggio di un motel… peccato che il costo fosse superiore a 100€ a notte per ognuna delle due camere. Da EVITARE ASSOLUTAMENTE.

Prix très élevé pour un confort approchant le formule 1. La localisation de l’hôtel n’apparaît pas non plus comme un argument pour en augmenter le prix. Quitte à devoir prendre la voiture pour aller jusqu’au centre historique de Saint Malo, autant prendre un hôtel plus éloigné mais de meilleur rapport qualité-prix.
