Parking at the nearby Hotel de Ville park is expensive for 24 hours but overnight 21:00 to 8:00 is OK at 4 Euro.

Jean Monnet parking is free, about 8 mins walk from hotel.

This place was a hidden gem to me. I had never been to Dinan before, was only there for one full day and wish I had more time in Dinan. My room was on the 3rd level and had a perfect view of the turnabout and nearby stores and restaurants. The staff were great and I had zero problems there.

Great location right in the centre with some nice bars, restaurants within a few minutes walk and a handy supermarket just opposite. Rooms comfortable. Shower great. Tea/coffee available beside the lift at reception. UHT milk sachets would be great so to avoid disturbing the staff for some milk. Parked in the centre ville car park next door. Was €10 for 24h.

The hotel is in a perfect central location for a visit to Dinan as well as being close to other beautiful towns such as St Malo & Dinard.
Staff at the hotel are very pleasant & the room we had was very comfortable.
Continental buffet breakfast is perfect to start a day of wandering through this lovely medieval town.

Absolutely awful. The room was too noisy to sleep in which the receptionist acknowledged next morning. Room 304 meant there was continual traffic and nightclub bar music. She suggested we should have asked to change rooms at 1am as it is like this every Friday. They would not refund our money but I shall be writing to head office to complain on my return. It ruined our stay and was totally unacceptable after a long days drive

The hotel is well-located within Dinan and an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. However, we were given Room #1 located on the first floor, in a little back hallway behind the dining area, through a swinging door, up about 8 stairs and next to a common restroom. It was a tiny room with barely enough space to walk around the bed and a tiny bathroom with barely enough room for the door to open -- it felt like an RV or small cabin on a cruise ship. Our small window overlooked an alley where the adjacent business had placed all their trash for pickup. There was an odor of sewer gas permeating the room at times. We asked to be moved and were told they were sorry, but they were fully booked and had no other rooms to give us. Very disappointing.

Very nice hotel and excellent value for money. Clean, tidy and comfy. Very good staff. My only criticism is that the bedding consists of just a douvet which was far too warm for summer months. An additional flat-sheet would have helped lots. Other than that, a great hotel which I would definitely recommend.

Good location!!!!

Nice hotel if you are staying for a few days. Rooms look like they have recently been refurbished. Breakfast was nice selection of pastries, great coffee machine and nice selection of fruit. Overall a good quality hotel for a short visit. Shower was particularly clean and modern.

1) This hotel is currently being refurbished and is NOT a good choice to stay until this is completed. Nothing on the web sits (Hotel or Expedia) when I booked. Check before booking.
2) Hotel is central is central but has no parking at all. You use a local underground car park.
3) We did not find many good restaurants in Dinan; perhaps this is just that we did not look hard enough.

Nice location, but very noisy in early hours of the morning. Room smelled of smoke despite the fact we booked a non - smoking room.

Breakfast was a CONVEYOR BELT OF A CATTLE MARKET.

The restaurant was ridiculously to small for the number of residents staying. You felt very pressurised to rush your breakfast, but due to very poor selection this was not difficult.

Very clean, easy access to town centre, fab view over town square as we had room looking out over front. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Other family members had side rooms, view not so good but rooms still great. Shame no tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast substantial, constantly replenished. Bathrooms excellent, some rooms had double showers but even normal showers were quite big.

I was very happy with this hotel. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the room very comfortable. The location was excellent. The train station and car rental company were within walking distance and there were two supermarkets and many good restaurants/cafes in the vicinity. Also, within 10 minutes walk to all the shops and main tourist sights of Dinan. Could not have wished for a better position. Would definately stay there again.

This hotel was inexpensive but was clean and comfortable. It's central location was ideal for exploring Dinan and some lovely restaurants / cafes are just a couple of minutes away. The staff were helpful. Parking is also only a minute from the hotel and not at all expensive. We will go back

As titled, this hotel is decent for anyone looking to stay in Dinan.

The experience was somewhat ruined by a lack of sleep though. The beds were like prison beds (singles) and the pillows (huge they were) felt as if they were filled with toy stuffing. Everything was great, just a pity they couldn't at least provide some half decent pillows.

Behing the facade this is a bog-standard Ibis. Noting particularly wrong with the room, which came with a nice view. The bathroom was large and had recenly been renovated. The bed was a very compact double! Wifi was fine.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was quiet but the second was very noisy due to some young guests who appeared to be running between rooms every 5 minutes for about and hour between 2200 and 2300. The soundproofing is not at all good so the noise was quite disturbing. Other than that the hotel is well located, basic but very functional for a short break.

This was a great hotel.We had a very spacious room,bathroom was really lovely,powerful shower,very clean room,plenty of storage,(carpet and bed clothes were a bit dated).
Our room overlooked the roundabout so there was a lot of noise.The hotel was a reasonable price so we didn't complain about the noise,wear ear plugs if you get a room at the front of the hotel.Car park was a public car park (not really secure) underground.cheaply priced....bit of a chore having to drag the luggage up to the hotel.great town..absolutely loved it.There is a market in the town on a thursday morning.bought beautiful scarves,jewellery etc.....
Pizzeria Cecco along the cobbled streets is a fantastic restaurant.
I really loved the Ibis Dinan hotel.Dinan itself is spectacular...would love to go back.....Go visit this town...stay at this hotel.You won't be sorry

Situated just outside the old town walls, good location for visiting the town. Plenty of cafes and restaurants around as well as a small supermarket. There was no parking but main car park very close by. We parked from the Sunday afternoon to the Tuesday morning for around 12 euros. Excellent shower in the bathroom - free Wi-Fi in the bedroom. Simple facilities - clean and airy bedroom.

The location here was excellent in centre of town with restaurants and supermarket within yards of the front door.The rooms were smallish but clean. No coffee making facilities was made up for by a coffee machine in the foyer. Staff excellent and breakfast very good value with good selection of cereals, bread meat cheese etc.

Central Dinan

Dinan is a fabulous looking town, stacked with history. A real treat for the eyes.
The hotel couldnt be more central, being just off the central rondpoint . All usual facilities youd expect for an Ibis hotel.
Car park was a bit of a farce, as it meant a 5 min walk back to the hotel. We were in a van so couldnt get to the underpass for the carpark, so had to drive around the park to use another entrance. No real drama.
Great breakfast, with loads of everything served up regularly. They even had 2 breakfast slots one for early risers and one for ..us...lol.
II would stay again, but for the number of euros it cost, I think I could have found something a little less regular.

Selon la description de la chambre, il y avait un airco. A l’arrivée, on nous a signalé que le chauffage étant encore allumé, l’airco ne fonctionnait pas… Résultat: 30 degrés dans la chambre, pas de circulation d’air et au final impossible de dormir, même la fenêtre ouverte, et une chambre plus chaude que le couloir… Et un receptionniste qui trouve cela normal…

Ensuite le petit-déjeûner: aucun personnel de l’hôtel présent et donc aucun réachalandage du buffet et une saleté généralisée dans cette jungle incontrôlée…

En gros, un franchisé qui ne tient pas bien son hôtel…

Accueil agréable. Hôtel bien situé à Dinan. Belle réception et salle. Jolie chambre... Demander un oreiller en plus, bien déposer dans la chambre.
Bémol, dans la salle de bain, l eau de douche passe sous la paroi de douche et inonde la sdb jusqu au WC. La cuvette WC bouge. Et manque une brosse nettoyage WC.
Et au petit déjeuner, carafe jus orange vide pendant tout notre petit déjeuner, n'a pas été rempli malgré l affluence vers 9h30.
Nous avons passé un bon séjour.
