We had a great stay in Hiroshima. VIAINN is only 5 minutes from Hiroshima station. The rooms are clean & the staff very courteous & helpful.
Hiroshima is a major station so all the shop’s & restaurants are there for travellers convenience.

Hotel is well-located near Hiroshima Station and amenities are generally satisfactory - however, the staff’s service attitude can be improved. Interactions are cold and felt like mere procedural formalities, with barely any smile or efforts to make (foreign) guests feel welcome. This is my second stay at a Via Inn and regrettably I've felt this way previously too. There are better hotels to stay at.

The hotel is extremely well located. There is a mall and many restaurants around. The Hiroshima station is just 3 minutes away. The limousine bus to the airport stops nearby the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and the public bath is a plus. The hotel also has a very good coffee shop.

A lovely hotel with lovely staff.

We got there early and they put our bags int the lockers provided.

You also get offered a free breakfast and their restaurant is very good with many options and great service.

Their rooms are good but fairly small like many hotel rooms in Japan.

The staff are very good and even looked after our bags when we checked out and had time to spare before our train.

The train station is extremely close to the hotel which is great for heavy luggage etc.

Would I stay here again. Most definitely!

Decent choice in Hiroshima. The staff was somewhat less friendly than in other Japanese hotels, and most of the reception staff could not speak any English. The location is perfect - 3 minutes walk from the Hiroshima station. The room was somewhat small even for city-center standards, and the bathroom was really tiny and uncomfortable.

Amenities were great and breakfast was delicious, don't forget to ask + pay for the breakfast voucher at the front desk before heading to the restaurant! Did not try the onsen here, but imagine it's quite good if it matches the standards of the hotel.

The price was amazing for what you get. I was concerned about the room size but it was spacious and comfortable for my family of 4. The amenity bar in the lobby provided everything we needed and they gave us a super cute kid amenity set upon check in.

The staff was accommodating and kindly allowed us an additional hour for check out since a couple of my family members were feeling sick. They offered umbrellas as we exited since it was raining.

A small thing that bothered me was that the staff would let me start the check in process until 3pm. My husband was feeling sick and we had to wait in the lobby. She would even let me fill out the hotel registration. So at 3pm, there was now a line to check in which caused a longer wait. It wouldn't have been a big deal if my husband wasn't feeling sick but we really wanted to get to our room ASAP. At 3, we checked in at the front desk and went straight to our room which was lovely. I loved the use of space and the large bathroom.

I stayed 2 separate one night stays and the 2n time, the front desk agent let me begin the check in process before 3pm, however, they did not provide a kid amenity this time. They held out luggage for us while we went to Miyajima overnight. They were prompt to bring our luggage out when we returned for that 2nd stay.

The coffee shop on the ground florlor was excellent too.

I would totally stay here again and if fact, would be interested in trying their other properties around Japan.

The hotel is strategically placed, within walking distance of the Hiroshima Station. There are also 2 convenience stores across the road.

Walked to Hiroshima Toyo Carps Baseball game at the Mazda Zoom Zoom Stadium! Loved the Komeda breakfast to start the day! Laundry machines worked perfectly. Will definitely stay here again!!

Pro: Prime location! Right next to Hiroshima station (just 2-3 mins walk to the station). Room was nice and clean, huge bed for solo traveler, basically got everything you need and super friendly & helpful staff. There's a Lawson
and 7-11 across the street. Breakfast is served till 11 am (this is rare as most JP hotels usually stop serving breakfast at 9:30) and you can purchase a breakfast voucher at the front desk.

Cons: The room was relatively small - I could not lay my luggage flat on the floor as it'd blocked the hall way. The public bath was always full of people and only open till 1am. Check out time is 10am unlike other hotel which is 11 am

Hotel is 5 mins walk from hiroshima, but not fully sheltered from jr station. Continental bf with bread choices is sufficient, but do not expect much.Hotel n chamber staff are good, and room very acceptable, given its price. I would stay here again if in hiroshima

It was convenient being so close to the train station, about 3 minutes walk but it’s a little tucked away so you have to look for it. The room is compact but functional. The bathroom needs a little more elbow room.

The staff was nice but the check-in took a little while with several people waiting to check-in bit there were several staff working so the Lu w went quickly

The property is located about 5 minutes from the Hiroshima station and bus stop, there is a Japan post and a convinience store just opposite the hotel, if you enjoy soaking in public baths there is one here, the microbubble bath is pretty relaxing.

Room is on the smaller side which can be a issue if you are using large sized luggage but the overall experience is great.

Primarily booked because it close to hiroshima station and I had to catch early taxi to the ferry for side trip and travel to next city via shinkensan.

Facility was great. Bed was medium firm. I used public bath vs the small bathroom.

Skip the breakfast which served in an adjoining coffee shop/diner. You are offered a set choice that gets boring very fast and is high on carbs. Not worth it. But everything else is excellent.

Nosotros caminamos al lugar de la bomba atómica desde el hotel. Y de paso entramos a la iglesia católica donde el papa Juan Pablo 2 estuvo.

We stayed here one night. Very modern. Very well-maintained. Friendly staff. There is a restaurant on the first floor for breakfast. My wife really enjoyed the hot springs. Excellent value. A little hard to find. Look for the Hotel Grand Via connected to the train station (north Shinkansen exit). Go through the lobby of the Grand Via and exit the opposite side. The hotel will be in front of you (cafe on the first floor).

We did not know but there was an onsen here. What a good surprise! Easy walk the the station where you can get trains, buses and street cars (trams). Very clean and good condition. Great staff whom kindly stored our luggage when we wanted to make the most of beautiful Hiroshima.

The staff were really courteous. Price was really reasonable and the complimentary breakfast at the attached restaurant mades it a really good value. Also, despite it being described as a continental breakfast, it is still a grade or 2 higher than North American standards. The area is also great, right next to the station, and is walkable to all the main areas of town, including Costco and the baseball stadium. The downside is the relatively small rooms, making it difficult with larger suitcases.

This Inn seemed like it was just built yesterday. The rooms were clean, linen fresh, hallways crisp. It’s only about a block and a half from the Hiroshima station. The breakfast was also oishii. I recommend a stay here.

So convenient but so small.

Ideal location so near the main station, 5 minutes walk at most. Breakfast was good at the adjoining cafe.
The main issue was the tiny room, we spent two weeks in Japan with luggage to match. The two large single beds took up the majority of the available space.
So I would recommend the hotel but beware the space which was the smallest of the four hotels where we stayed.

This is a nice hotel, very close to the train station. It was a bit of a walk to the Peace Memorial, but the train and subway was right there. The breakfast is Japanese style, with choices A,B,C, D, E that vary in the main entree, but all come with a choice of drink, cup of soup, cabbage salad, and dessert salad (jello, Greek yogurt, etc).

Only minor issue is hotel is located about 10 minute walk from Shinkansen station (the name seems to imply it is location within the station itself). Can be a little tricky to find at first but you will discover shortcuts once you get familiar with the area.
