Climate-controlled so being the end of October, the hotel puts on the heat after 5pm. The hotel advertises \"air conditioning\", which is misleading. We will not come back in the colder months.

Staff were very kind and found me a non-smoking room after I had mistakenly booked a smoking one! Yes, smoking was still allowed on certain floors of the hotel so there was a bit of a smell throughout. The hotel was conveniently located near the tram that goes to the train station and to the Peace Park in Hiroshima. The included breakfast had many options to choose from. I walked to the hotel from the train station when I first arrived ~22 mins.

This is a perfectly fine, no-frills hotel if you just need a place to lay your head at night affordably. Definitely can't complain for the price!

If you're looking for comfort and space, look somewhere else but the room is just fine if you're spending your days exploring all Hiroshima has to offer and only looking to sleep.

Terrible, not sure is Expedia or Hotel's oversight. Listing puts \"air conditioning\" but the AC unit is locked to HEAT only. Shouldn't conditioning mean to condition to user's comfort? Staff was apologetic and politely offered fan but that didn't help. Room windows cannot be opened as well. Whole room was stuffy and warm. I left immediately after securing another room elsewhere.

Standard cozy Japanese hotel. I liked the level of maintenance and cleanliness, and the general comfort of the accomodations. The bathroom was the smallest of the Chisun properties we stayed at in Hiroshima, Osaka and Tokyo, and does not allow for two people to easily use it at once.

Sorry but I cannot recommend this hotel. The room was very dirty when we came in. The AC was dusty all over and when we turned it on because it was cold, the dust spread all over the room it looked like it was snowing. When we took a bath, disgusting white stuff like dead skin where floating around disgusting! We had to complain and although they did clean the next day, our two night stay was not pleasant. The walls where so thin we could hear the people next door. They did provide coffee packs but their toothbrushes are too cheap. The only thing I liked was their shampoo.

The hotel is conveniently located reasonably close to the railway station and loop sightseeing bus route. The outside of the hotel looks a little dated, but inside all is well. Room nice sized (king size bed). Breakfast was good.

Overall, a great little hotel. Within walking distance to Hiroshima Station and about 20 steps from one of the best okonomiyaki places in town. Nice walks along the river fronts close by, too. The staff was so nice and accommodating. A “little” bit run down, but still very nice, clean and comfortable. And, of course, the price was very nice. Terrific value for money.

15 min walk from station. Staff were great, very friendly. Room was slightly cramped but that's the normal size here for the price range. Still a comfortable stay, everything worked and efficiently ran. No problem recommending it.

We stayed one night. Free breakfast was simple and good. Croissants, baguettes, boiled eggs, pastries and juice. 5 min walk to shin osaka station where there is a good choice of restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great location, you can walk to the Peace park but you can also take public transportation in front of hotel. Convenient store next door. Many shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Lovely staff. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable, no view from the windows.

1st the hotel location: In front of trolley station and two blocks from turistic bus station (free with JR pass), pretty near from the main station, and main atractions. Excellent location

2nd the Room: Economic room is small but confortable, clean and good bathroom, very confortable bed.

I really enjoy Hiroshima, is a pretty city with many histories to tell. Don´t lose the opportunity to visit it.

The hotel is a little bit from Hiroshima station but a great location by sitting on a main road and by having a street car stop right outside!
The hotel was very clean and comfy and the check in process was seamless. They were very happy to hold our bags for us also as we had arrived early.
The amenities were great also and staff were always keen to help as much as they could.
We would definitely come back to Chisun Hotel.

One of the few hotels in Japan that let us have entry to our room prior to the official time. Most that we have visited have made us wait.
Breakfast is a wide variety of choices and the dining room also serves a very good lunch at a reasonable price.
The hotel is in a very good location with both bus and train stops very close by. If you have a JR Japan Rail pass, many of these services are free.
The one complaint is, like most hotels that we stayed in, there is no English speaking TV in the room - even China provides that for their tourists.

perfectly fine for a couple of tourists! Like many Japanese hotel rooms they are small for a couple of big Americans but easy to get over it! It was easy to access the touristy sights and the staff was very nice and had good food suggestions. I didn’t have the brekky but in laws thought it was a bit pricey for mediocre quiality.

Chisun hotel is in a great spot, only a few tram stops away from the train station and walking distance to all tourist destinations. Only a few blocks away is a massive shopping and dining area spread over many streets with hundreds dining options with everything from hole in the wall dining options to large restaurants. Friendly stafff and tasty breakfasts. The only thing that tainted out stay was an extremely disrespectful family in the room above that received a number of complaints from many guests due to the thumping and noise and what sounded like renovations above us all through the night. Staff were very apologetic but couldn’t do much to stop the racket.

This is not a place I would recommend:
The staff was rude, the room was so small you couldn't even open the door without banding into your suitcase, the bathroom felt like being in an airplane, the ac was impossible to control, etc.
Highly disappointed with the reviews I had read from the hotel prior to booking!

It was the perfect hotel for me as a single traveler. Very good value for the price, the room was clean and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. They provided an umbrella for when it was pouring rain outside. Very convenient location literally steps away from a tram station, and still only a relatively short walk to the peace park. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are quite small if you have a lot of luggage, but they are very clean. The location is right outside one of the streetcar stops, and the main sights in Hiroshima are in walking distance (20 mins or so). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good location, walking distance to train station and restaurants/bars. Longer walk to Hiroshima attractions. Room was very small, tiny bathroom (elevated from room floor), shower within bathtub, not practical and a bit dangerous to go in and out, no safety box in room, no international TV channels (not a single one), excellent breakfast buffet (particularly the Japanese foods), perhaps the best Japanese breakfast buffet I have come across during 5 different trips to Japan.
Overall a good hotel in Hiroshima catering mostly to Japanese guests.

Front desk man was quite curt and rude until he realized i spoke fluent japanese. Demanded passports and slapped a form down to fill out. Rooms were smaller than similarly priced hotels. Made for a not so wonderful trip. In fact, we left hiroshima early so as not to have to stay here any longer.

Nice clean hotel a ten minute walk from the main train station and a similar distance from most of the major tourist attractions in Hiroshima, including the Peace Park and the castle.. shopping and dining abound in the area. Great staff make up for small room

The staff were excellent which is always a good start. The hotel is midway between railway station and main attraction, Peace Park, and is a 20 min walk to railway station.
