Basic hotel

Hotel is an old hotel. We had a triple room and they added a third bed to room so we had no space for stroller and one suitcase. Beds were hard so were pillows and we loved that. They provided slippers, excellent face wash, shampoo, conditioner, pajamas. There is kettle and fridge in room. Downstairs there is free coffee and tea between 15-20 (didnt like). Breakfast is very basic, but they did have bread and jam and milk and cornflakes for the kids. No option to open window, air in the room was awful even though there is AC. Its an OK basic hotel but we wont stay here again and dont recommend it.

The breakfast was fantastic and I hadn't even realised it was included in the cost which was extremely reasonable anyway. The washing machine and dryer was a major bonus when travelling and were cheap, quick and easy to use. My only complaint was the bathroom was tiny and not practical There was practically nowhere to put toiletry bags or toiletries. The available space was at the the back of the toilet and that seemed very inappropriate and unhygienic. If there was a better bathroom there would be a 10/10 score.

Really happy with the hotel given how budget-friendly it is. Clean and spacious room with a view to the streets, 10 minutes walk to the Hiroshima train station, 10 minutes walk to the main shopping area, 20 minutes walk to A-bomb dome. The breakfast is included and with decent quality, the staff is very friendly and helpful, free tea and coffee throughout the day is nice. We will not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and it has gone through a name change and renovation. It’s very modern and worth it with the buffet breakfast. Room is one of the larger rooms with a queen size bed. I would stay here again on my future stays in Hiroshima.

Only real concern was that the bathtub wasn't sealed up against the wall. I'm scared to think of the mold and dirt down there. Otherwise this is a pretty great hotel. One weird (but not that big a deal) is that there was only one regular plug available in the main room

Property was pretty much as described. However, the bathroom was very small and not ventilated at all, so the room got very steamed up after using the shower. Beds were reasonably comfortable, and the hotel is in a pretty convenient location adjacent to yagenbori (the red light district). Very close to trams and busses at Kanayamacho.

Also, don't lose your keycard. They charge 1000 yen for a replacment.

I liked the fact that it was not too far away from the shopping areas and covered markets and it was walkable from Hiroshima station. It would have been nice to have had some instant coffee in the room each morning. Free coffee in the afternoon in the lobby is nice though.

We ordered the standard room (least expensive one) and loved the space and view. We ate breakfast the last day, it was simple continental breakfast with traditional cuisine for a lower price if paid prior to, which if you eat a lot, can save you as breakfast could be that much, in the area, for just the entreé. So far we have been in Hiroshima and Osaka, and Osaka is pricier. We walked from Hiroshima station (long walk) but the city train was close (line 2) and it takes you to the main station, and also Hiroshima memorial park (main visitors area) as well as to the Miyajima ferry station. I would stay here again, good for families, solo travelers, etc. Don’t need to buy toiletries.

We enjoyed our stay at the EN Hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our twin-room on the eighth floor was compact and clean. The view of the river was beautiful. It's a 15 min walk to Hiroshima station and a similar distance to the downtown area. We liked this location.

Quite close to the river and food and restaurants walking distance to hotel e.g. Chinatown area. Coin laundry available which was very useful. Despite booking a smoking room, we didn't bother changing rooms as we were only there for 2 nights. The air freshener mist provided in room helped alot and humidifier.

The location of hotel was on the side of the river where all the tourist attractions were so catching a tram was reasonable to take you there.

Liked that it was cheap, fairly close to train station and reception staff were lovely.
Breakfast was miserable, but in saying that there is nowhere else except a 7-11 to get anything else close by. Room was dingy with a cramped bathroom. My recommendation would be to spend extra and stay elsewhere.

We had a pleasant one-night stay at the Court Hotel, which was very near all the sights and restaurants. We booked rather last-minute and had to settle for a smoking room. It was a bit cramped but the room was larger than those we stayed in, while visiting Tokyo. The hotel staff were very courteous.

The location is good. You can walk to most of the city attractions and the streetcar just around the corner. Transportation system is small and very easy to understand, and Hiroshima station walkable also. Staff very friendly and helpful and some speak English. Breakfast buffet o.k., not great. Best is it is very close to entertainment district for restaurants.

We booked a room for 2x adults and 1x 10yo kid but were given a double bed only. Had to sleep on the floor. Staff was very unhelpful, didn't help by providing extra pillows or foam matt or else to help make or stay more confortable. Would not recommend this hotel for any more guests than a couple.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and always enjoy it. This year I had a river-facing room on the 7th floor. Loved it, and never tired of that view. The staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the coffee and little pots of creamer available from Reception. The shower doesn't look promising but is actually excellent. The fridge works a treat. Personally, I love the location. It's a 15 min walk to the JR station, and less than 10 mins to the shopping district. All in all, it suits me well.

We booked a family room that sleeps 6, there was only 5 (3 adults & 2 kids) of us and it was a little cramped but we only stayed one night so it wasn’t a problem. I think if you were staying longer you’d be better off booking two rooms.

I booked the triple room. The room is actually bigger than what i was expecting. There is a coin laundry which is handy when you are travelling. The hotel is walkable to the hiroshima jr station and also the main shopping area. Overall, i would stay here again.

I got this hotel at very attractive rates for a twin room, but it's worth noting location wise, it's somewhere between JR Hiroshima and town central, meaning it's some walk from either spot, although I do have a room with an awesome view overlooking the Kyobashi river. Well, for the price I booked, I certainly cannot have unrealistic expectation, and the furnitures certainly looks dated, but otherwise, my stay was overall comfortable. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity, as well as a convenience store up the road.

The room and bed were much larger than typical hotels in Japan, so I was very pleased. The room was very clean, and it had nice amenities. The staff were friendly. We had a great view of a river from our hotel room. The hotel's location was good for general sightseeing, although we used a taxi when taking our luggage to and from Hiroshima Station because it was just a bit too far for a walk with heavy luggage. I also feel like the price was a little high given my experience at other hotels in Japan, although this room was indeed relatively spacious. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

It was a nice spot, right along the river and not far from shopping and eating as well as the loop bus and street car. The front desk workers speak only passable English or less so be patient with them. The room itself was a non smoking, which was great, but it didn't have enough plugs for all our charging needs. It was very comfortable though and I slept so well despite the loud fans.

Surprisingly Spacious!

We were surprised when we got to our room to discover that it was A) more spacious than any hotel we’d stayed in up to that point, and B) had a *jawdropping* view of the river! And two chairs! Who’d’a thunk?

Overall a fairly basic business hotel, but the room really did feel spacious and comfortable. The rooms have physical keys that you need to turn into the front desk every day if you would like your room serviced, which is one more thing to remember, although I wouldn’t call it a hassle. Having a little Japanese will help you here, but some of the staff are bilingual.

Most expensive laundry machines we encountered in a Japanese hotel, but they got the job done.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed at Court Hotel Hiroshima for two nights to give us a full day in the area. It is easy to get to all the main areas of interest from the hotel, and the electric railway stop is an easy walk from there. The hotel itself is more like a cheap Australian motel - the sink was chipped, the room was tiny (even for Japanese standards), there was a patch of painted over mold on the ceiling and the wiring in the room for the lamps etc was quite scary. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel - it was just a base to sleep - so it didn’t affect us too much, but I wouldn’t have wanted to spend much longer there. The breakfast buffet was affordable and the kitchen staff were lovely. The western food was interesting but there was a good variety and honestly, it is Japan, so the fact they have western food available is something I was grateful for. I don’t think we’d stay there again but it wasn’t a terrible experience, just not somewhere I would stay for more than a night or two.

This hotel is very close to Hiroshima Train Station. It far from the tourist spots ( Hiroshima Domb, Museum, etc..) The room it self had several crack, patches of missing paint and very old restroom. The carpet inside the room had stains. The AC at times shut off making the room extremely hot.The staff were extremely friendly.
