Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, was a great place to just stop while spending days out around the beautiful sirmione .. our only gripe was the bed. The mattress was just awful... Needs replacing. Everything else was brilliant. Loved our short time there. Shower was great, breakfast was good. Just that bed...would stay again but if we got the same room or the bed was as bad we would ask to change rooms!

An excellent hotel at really good value. The area its in is quiet but convenient, with the bus stop very close and lots of shops and well as great restaurants. The hotel also offers bike and electric scooter hire too - though we didnt opt for either as it was so easy to get around by bus or on foot. Its an alright waliing distance from sirmione castle as well, walking right next to the lake.

Service at the hotel is excellent, staff are amazingly welcoming and friendly. And i agree with other reviews the breakfast spread is outstanding.

The room was comfortable with a lovely powerful rain shower. Only thing to note is beds are quite firm.

Overall a great stay id highly recommend

All in all an excellent stay.

We had a family room which was a good size for 4 of us. Service was great with staff always willing to help. The pool on the roof was fabulous and open good hours. Breakfast was a great selection the kids loved the pancakes. Hotel is in a great location to do day trips to other parts of the lake and Verona. Easy bus service just down the road to get into the town centre. Plenty of restaurants close by.

The city was beautiful, even in the rain. The nearby restaurants were tasty and not too expensive.
The desk clerk/concierge was super friendly and helpful. We had ordered an anniversary package and it included a beautiful flower arrangement and a bottle of Prosecco.
The only drawback was a lack of football on TV.

We stayed at the hotel one night, so we cant provide full review on all services, overall it was good for one night before flight, the room and shower was ok, the only negative is the car noise from the road, they should put double glazed windows, ask for the other side of the building.

Excellent hotel , very clean and not far from Sirmione. Nice walk into center by the Lake , or take a bus.
Pool looked lovely , but not open because we were out of season.
Breakfast was fine and they cooked omelette fresh for me every morning.
Manager Sylvia , her mother and all the staff were wonderful ,very helpful and friendly. All spoke English.
Would recommend and would stay again.
Wish we were back in Sirmione.

The room was clean, the staff was nice, no troubles with finding parking. The only thing was the extremely low Wifi signal we had in our room (to the level it would disconnect frequently).
All in all I was happy with the hotel.

The Hotel Alfieri was perfect for our stay in Sirmione. Its location is in a quiet area (didn’t get disturbed once from outside noise) yet only a 2 minute walk from bars, restaurants and bus stops. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the room was perfect for our 3 nights stay. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and having a 24 hour reception is always a good thing. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

10 days at the hotel Alfieri and very enjoyable they were too!
All the staff were very friendly & extremely helpful in every aspect of our stay.
The rooms were basic but comfortable & the air conditioning was a godsend!
The pool on the roof was amazing as was the view.
The restaurant was very clean & my only criticism would be that it could have been made more comfortable with air conditioning.
Breakfast was plenty with many choices. Evening meal also consisted of choices for all three courses & the staff were very accommodating. Would visit again & would recommend to anyone visiting the Sirmione area of lake Garza.

Great hotel

We stayed here at the end of our tour of northern Italy. Its a great place to relax. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast had lots of choice, you could even make your own fruit juice using the juicer and good choice of fruit ready to add. The bicycle loan is really good as we borrowed them to ride to the centre of Sirmione one evening. Unfortunately it rained heavily for most of the two days we were there but the roof top pool is a great bonus. Walking distance were plenty of good eating places if you didn't want to eat in the hotel.

Location is also good as the hotel does provide a bike service - 15-20mins to the main gate by bike. Great value and actually provides for a pleasant lakeside bike ride!

The hotel is well positioned near the town & restaurants with nice pool area. Unfortunately the room was extremely small with a double bed and not even room for a bedside table. Like many other hotels the bathroom design was impracticable with no where easily to hang towels, put your toiletries etc. also the bathroom was very small in size. Other than that, the hotel was very pleasant.

Near to Restaurants but Away from Historic Sights

This was an average hotel with standard rooms facing a busy main road. There are nearby restaurants but the historic part of town is a fair way away. This is helped by the free use of bikes (with no gears) from the hotel. Staff are immensely helpful although it took some time to get English speaking channels on their satellite TV. The breakfast spread was one of the best in our 4 weeks of travelling

Many things were good but even with an upgrade the room was small. There was no drawer storage for clothes so we had to live out of suitcases, and therefore the cases took valuable space from the room. Service was good. Food was very limited and even though good value we eat out most evenings. The amenities were decent for the size of the hotel. Good location, although a decent walk into Sirimone town.

We stayed here for 2 nights & found the hotel very comfortable & clean. The manager was extremely helpful. We had booked the room online & inadvertently booked 4 single beds for 2 adults & 2 children. Luckily they had a free room with a double bed and 2 singles which they offered us (as well as an aperitif while we checked in!). The breakfast & dinners were good value & the kids loved the rooftop pool. Definitely recommend this hotel and we would love to visit again.

Affordable, friendly small hotel in Columbare

We stayed for one night and were pleased to find easy street parking outside the hotel. It is located in Columbare (around 15 min bike ride from Sirmione) and the hotel supply bikes for its residents ( €4 after the first 3 hours, which are free).
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful enough, however the rooms really are small and the walls paper thin. I would not recommend more than a one night stay- especially if like us, you have lots of luggage with you.
Columbare itself is perfect for dinner and Sirmione is lovely for the day. The bikes made it a fun stay for us.
However if you're not fit and willing to put up with a very small room (we could barely get around the bed and we're not big people), I would advise against the stay. It must be said though that the staff were lovely and the price quite reasonable.

This is a truly fantastic hotel in a great location just outside the old town of Sirmione. The staff cannot do enough to be helpful and the hotel is in an immaculate condition. The rooms, outside spaces, breakfast room and pool are all in great condition and immaculately maintained.

Breakfast is outstanding - both the food and the service! The free bike rental is a huge bonus and really ensured that we could make the most of the location.

Everyone at the hotel was courteous and polite. The concierge was very helpful in guiding us around the local area. The room was cosy but comfortable and the bathroom was fitted to a high standard. Hotellet var trevligt med en takterrass med pool, nära till sjön och mycket bra frukost. Rummen kunde ha städats lite bättre, det var dammigt på många ytor och någon fläck på lakanen. Vi sov här i två nätter och var absolut nöjda med vår vistelse! Hotellet låg i ett trevligt område med restauranger, kaféer och mycket grön natur runt om.

Supertrevlig personal! Härlig grönska runtom hotellet. Poolen var fantastisk och hotellservicen likaså. Barnen älskade detta hotell och på vår resa genom Europa så är detta boende våran favorit - den hemmakära känslan hotellpersonalen förmedlade gick alltså igenom!
På minussidan var rummen små och lyhörda.
Barnet slängde kläder på golvet i badrummet och de blev vita av damm och som astmatiker fick jag tyvärr en allergisk reaktion över den dåliga städningen.

Your home away from home!

As a frequent travellerers, we stay at a huge variety of places, all carefully selected, all nice with friendly staff, but this hotel beats them all for the care and attention the staff give their guests. They're incredible. Not only do they fulfill all your requests, giving directions and arranging tours and taxis, but they are so attentive doing all that. As it's not a large hotel, the staff learn everyone's first name on arrival. They inquire how your day was, how you slept, how you're feeling and whether there's anything you need and, no, it's not intrusive: it's just REALLY nice. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is just super wonderful: great selection of everything, every day they serve you home made pastries and desserts. The restoran staff is
really effective and they take good care of their customers.
Hotel has a nice rooftop pool, which is very clean and you feel very relaxed there.
Hotel is very quite at night so you get a good night's sleep despite the hotel's fantastic central location. I wouldn't stay anywhere else next time I'm in Sirmione having experienced this lovely hotel and its staff.
Note! :English are spoken fluently.

- zu wenig Personal beim Frühstück (lange Wartezeiten für neue Brötchen)

Se dovessi tornare a Sirmione penso che alloggerei ancora all'Hotel Alfieri.
Personale sempre disponibile; ubicazione ottima sia per chi deve fare cure termali (basta attraversare la strada), sia per chi deve muoversi in automonile (a due passi dalla strada per tutte le direzioni.
Cibo ben curato; se un appunto dovessi farlo è il costo del vino a tavola (20/22 euro la bottiglia).

Wundervoller Aufenthalt

Es herrscht eine wundervolle Atmosphäre in diesem Hotel. Das gesamte Personal ist superfreundlich und der Service wunderbar. Die Hotel und die Zimmer sind schön und sehr sauber, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren hervorragend, jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Die Dachterrasse ist herrlich und der Ausblick auf den See traumhaft, auch der Pool war sehr sauber.Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt recht gut

Die Lage des Hotels befindet sich ca 3 km außerhalb der Altstadt von Sirmione - hervorragende Busverbindung!!!
Der Pool am Dach ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig allerdings dauert es ewig bis eine Bedienung kommt oder sie kommt gar nicht.
Frühstücksbuffet für 3 * Italien 👍
Zimmer rundherum sauber und besonders angenehme Matratze ☺

Sauberes Hotel, nettes Team

Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern, wenn auch ein wenig klein. Trotzdem aber ausreichened. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage fanden wir auch super. Wir können das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen und wollen auch selbst wieder kommen. Danke für eine schöne Zeit!

The hotel is situated in a nice neighbour hood. The rooms are clean but outdated and the beds are really hard. Avoid to get a room above the breakfast room as you hear all chairs as from 7 in the morning. Traffic is also noisy.

Zu empfehlen

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit super Lage. Das einzige was fehlt ist ein Balkon bzw die Möglichkeit die nassen Badehandtücher aufzuhängen, das war schon ärgerlich. Ansonsten war alles bestens.

There are lots of free parking zones around the neighborhood, and accommodations are very clean.
It's a great place for the price.
