This hotel is special for so many reasons. All the staff were excellent and so helpful and kind and attentive. Claudia and Enrico were exceptional and we got to know them. So super kind.
Rooms had everything you could want and were perfectly cleaned and detailed. Breakfast was special with so many options and the views were unbelievable from our own balcony. We were very touched by our stay at the hotel and the people that own and work there❤️❤️❤️

Hotel Aurora was wonderful from the time we booked. The hotel reached out and arranged a private transfer from the airport. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. There was a nice breakfast daily. The hotel is located in walking distance to all the shopping and dining. When we left I forgot my watch in the bed and the hotel immediately alerted our driver and arranged to have to shipped back to me! We had a lovely stay.

We had an incredible stay at the Aurora. Starting with the airport pickup in Naples. The staff were so helpful, kind and friendly! Thank you Marisa for all your great suggestions. The breakfast was amazing with hot and cold options and whether it was served inside or outside the views took our breath away! We didn’t meet Daniela but as we went into town and told people where we were staying, they had nothing but great things to say about her and the hotel. We had a week we will never forget! Good location, walkable to the town centre but away from the busyness. Staff were friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely in the sun. Room was spacious though walls were thin and we could hear the people next door at night. Hotel has access to the beach which you have to pay for but it is free for guests after 1430. Overall, I would stay here again.

Hotel Aurora was a highlight of our Amalfi stay! It’s tucked just far enough from the town center to be peaceful, yet only a short and beautiful walk from the heart of Amalfi. The views from our room were stunning — waking up to the sea and the sound of waves was unforgettable.

The staff was kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself has a classic charm — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a lovely terrace and private beach area that felt like a hidden gem.

If you’re looking for a place that balances relaxation and convenience, with true Amalfi character, Hotel Aurora is it. We’d absolutely stay again.

This hotel is at the \"working\" end of the marina so you are with the local fisherman, families and dogs. We loved it! There is a playground, a pier to walk out on and a little beach .... all used by the locals. Wednesday morning's open air market brought a small crowd (locals) but otherwise, very quiet.

Perfect ocean view hotel within very short walking distance to the ferry stop, bus stop and main piazza.
They provide breakfast on a beautiful marina view deck when weather permits, otherwise in doors with window views. They also have a bar. It does have a very small elevator. The staff is friendly and tries to meet all requests and very helpful with advice. They even added a mattress topper to our bed! They have refrigerators.

Such a great location, only a 5 minute walk to the main area of Amalfi. Saves you from walking up hills with your luggage. Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. While it would be great to have more options for breakfast, it was still enjoyable. Simple but classic breakfast. Just take note, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. If you are a light sleeper, you may find it difficult at times. Hotel still holds that original Italian coastal property vibe and don't expect modern features. Be in the element. Bathroom and shower can feel tight but again it is manageable. The views at the property from the balcony are amazing and having a jacuzzi was fantastic. I would rebook again without hesitation.

We loved the location and the balcony with hot tub. The bed was a bit stiff but that was my only complaint about the room. It was convenient. The ferry port was 10min non hilly walk. Breakfast was decent, the views from their breakfast place were pretty nice. Walls were thin so we could hear our neighbors. For our delux room they had combined the two double beds that was uncomfortable and beds everywhere in Italy are super firm so be ready for that. The hotel is kept clean. As everyone in the reviews said, their beach should be free for hotel guests and not be charged €35.

My stay was great! The staff was always super friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great because it’s about 5-7 walk away from the port and center of town so it’s off the path and little less hustle and bustle. The beach area is beautiful private and it’s away from all the boats at the port around the corner from the private beach area is a cool little cave you can swim too also! The beach staff was also super friendly and nice! Breakfast in the morning is great as well. All around enjoyed my stay and hope to return some time soon!

This hotel was in walking distance to the town center of Amalfi and for 35 euro you could access your own cove on a private beach ( with 2 chairs and an umbrella) that looked onto the ocean versus parked boats which Was a good value and nicer than many of the other options available in this area. The rooms had been recently renovated and were incredibly clean and the air conditioning was amazing. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning on the outside terrace looking over the harbor in Amalfi and also enjoyed our lemon spritz there before going out for dinner. This hotel was great value in our opinion

One thing that bothered me a little bit however is that you had to pay €35 per day to use their beach area. I think if you’re already paying to stay at the hotel, you should not be charged to go to the beach. Nowhere else have I seen that..

What an amazing place in Amalfi. Just stayed here for four nights and I loved everything about it.
Full English breakfast was delicious as was the fresh fruit and coffee.
Incredibly clean troops and very accommodating staff!
I will definitely be back!!
The beach is pretty rocky and small but very so bring water shoes if you’re going to swim.

ABSOLUTELY the best part of our Amalfi trip. I mean, the views! the jacuzzi on the terrace! the attention to detail from the staff, the GORGEOUS Beach right next to the hotel, with chairs, umbrellas and towels at reasonable price, amazing drinks available, and 6 minutes from the Ferry port... Their private beach has its own \"grotto\" that is honestly impeccably beautiful, we swam right to it and stayed there in the shade with the beatiful view of the aquamarine waters. 10/10 stay.

Giuseppe and Gerarda spent at least half an hour on the phone getting us train seats on a different carrier. They went above and beyond all expectations. We are forever grateful. This is one of the best hotels in Amalfi! It is a short walk from the center of town, but when you get sick of all the noise and the amount of people that are in that Square, you come here, and it’s like an oasis! The employees here couldn’t be nicer to their guests. If I were to come back to Amalfi, I will definitely stay here again. I encourage anybody who is coming to Amalfi, to make Hotel Aurora their first choice to stay in.

Location was quiet and out of the main way, down by the marina. The hotel assisted in setting up airport transfers which was very convenient because I'm not sure how else you would get to this hotel. Amalfi overall was underwhelming, it felt dirty and not interesting. The most interesting part is leaving the town to go to other towns. The hotel felt like a haunted prison, I have never slept so horribly in my life. Maybe upgrading to a room with a view would help it not feel so claustrophobic, but I would either pick a different town to stay in on the Amalfi coast or definitely pick a different hotel if you want to get any sleep. I expected more for what we paid for, but didn't see many other options that seemed better.

Hotel is located just behind the marina right on the coast. Its just a few minutes walk away from the core of Amalfi, its shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great and so were the staff! The building seems a bit outdated, but certainly wasnt an issue. The hotel also gives you access to a small beach just past the neighbouring beach club. It was fun, you can access a small grotto and it felt safe to swim. Very much enjoyed the stay!

My only issue was the parking. At the hotel it was a 40 euro per night fee, which is technically cheaper than the public parking lots, but seemed kind of excessive in my opinion.

Had a really wonderful stay at hotel Aurora. It is located just a few minutes walk away from the main hotel/restaurant/shopping area. It overlooks the marina and harbor. It is quiet and has wonderful views. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the water. The terrace is relaxing and peaceful and they offer a nice breakfast assortment, you can also have afternoon/evening drinks, or just sit and enjoy it anytime. There is a little private beach with a lifeguard as well. Perfect way to spend a day, it’s away from the crowds. Sunrise from the harbor pier is amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Hotel Aurora exceeded our expectations! Service was wonderful. Room comfortable and well appointed. Terrace overlooking sea was a nice relaxing spot. Breakfast was delicious. All fresh cooked with a wide variety of all foods, including home made pastries.

Location was perfect. Just off busy square but only an easy 5 minute walk from it, no stairs to climb, only short driveway. Everything you need is right there within a short walk. Easy to get to dock to catch a ferry down the coast to visit other coastal towns.

The Amalfi coast is amazing and Hotel Aurora only helps with the experience. I highly recommend.

Hotel Aurora is an excellent home base from which to explore the Amalfi Coast - Ravello, Positano, etc. While not as fancy (or expensive) as other options, it is clean and well-maintained with friendly, helpful staff and a nice open-air patio breakfast. The hotel is old and a bit outdated but that's also very specific to Amalfi Coast. Overall expensive, parking is also very expensive, but again that's area specific. This is advertised as a 4 star hotel but only has the most basic amenities.
The breakfast is adequate and the terrace is a nice area to enjoy it. There bar is fine but there are no other obvious amenities available.
The laundry service was priced at €10 per kilo.
There is an outdoor area adjacent to the reception on the first floor that is neglected. So much use could be made of it with a little imagination.
The rooms were ok, nothing to get excited about. The cleanliness was poor in places, corners were missed. The shower was tiny with very little space to move in it.
I would class this hotel as a 3 star at best.

Hotel Aurora is a nice throw back to 1950s era design. Staff is helpful. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are very up to date and well-suited for travelers. Only glitch is parking. Very limited and about E40 per night. Also met a rude parking lot attendant. Called us something colorful in Italian because we walked into an area of the parking lot I guess we weren’t supposed to. Amalfi is beautiful in location and architecture. Very walkable but lots of steep stairs if you want to explore everything. Road into Amalfi is like driving a bus on a sidewalk

Excellent location to ferry station. Sheets had yellow stains. Rooms are not soundproof. Room did not have any view. It was a short stay, maybe it was a reason that we have received this low scale room.

The place is an easy walk from the ferry pier which was nice, and it’s overlooking the water which is also very nice, especially at breakfast if you don’t have a balcony or a good view. We booked a balcony room and it had one however it was off to the side and you could barley see water and instead overlooked trees and a parking lot.
The breakfast is a great selection with a gorgeous view.
It’s nice and quiet.

Warning: The bed is absolutely terrible. It’s 2 twins pushed together so they push apart when you sleep and it is hard as a rock.
Also, our shower did not have a door at all and we know this is normal in Europe and usually don’t have an issue with it but the water is right by the opening and it completely soaks the floor with no drain. We just went through a lot of towels!

I personally don’t think I’d stay here again considering there’s gotta be better balconies with good views and better beds. Look for reviews of places with decently comfortable beds because I think that’s very important when travelling. We weren’t overly impressed considering the price.

This hotel was amazing. Everything you need in the Amalfi coast is right here. The staff and location is the best part. Giuseppe, Francesca, Julia and Ana were the best! Everyone there is so nice! 5 stars for hotel aurora.
