Great location - directly located in the old town. Really nice views of the lake with an outdoor terrace. Parking is about a 10 minute walk or you can get a shuttle. Breakfast was very average (not the best).

Spent a very pleasant week here. We chose it because of its proximity to the ferry terminal, and it was perfect for this.

The hotel was great and we do recommend it. I'd have given it full marks except for the sulphorous smell of the thermal spa which permeates the public areas of one of the two buildings making up the hotel. It's not a show stopper, but it's something to be aware of.

Many positives though - the staff were nice, as was the room, and also the dining room. Sitting outside on the terrace in the evening sunshine with a drink, overlooking the lake, was lovely.

Staff was annoyed with any questions, very unfriendly and not at all customer service oriented.
We asked for a bucket of ice and were told that next time they will charge us room service. Waiters at breakfast took forever to take an order. Breakfast was bad. Hallways were very run down and dirty.

Really nice hotel right on the waters edge in Sirmione. We stayed for 3 nights in a room with a lake view.
If you’re taking a car then drop a line to the hotel who will arrange parking at a large car park about 300 meters from the hotel. It’s about £10 per 24 hours and you get a complimentary chauffeured ‘stretch’ Golf Buggy which delivers you and any luggage direct to the hotel. If you travel ‘light’ it’s only about an 8 minute walk.
The ‘Lake View’ part of our room was an added extra which I wouldn’t bother with again as you had to climb out your bedroom and look over a brick wall to see the lake and over the 3 days we saw the lake morning, noon and night. Can’t decide whether room was a bit dated or fitted in with the decor of the hotel, bit of unsightly mould around the shower but other than that room was very clean, (maid was daily). Biggest issue but not the biggest deal in the world was the lack of plug sockets, 1 behind the TV (being used by the TV) and the only other one in the bathroom (!). This made charging phones etc a bit problematic. Hotel staff were helpful and super friendly. Included ‘Free’ Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice but omelettes and poached eggs etc came at an additional price. The outdoor pool and spa is in a separate building opposite with the pool being a bit tight for space, you’d do well to just turn up and get a sun-bed, yet alone 2. There are however alternative places to sit, the spa guy/girl are happy to get you drinks from

We’ve had a lovely time at the hotel. The hotel is located in the Old Town and perfect location on the edge of the lake. We chose a double aspect balcony room. Our room was in the main hotel building. The room was a little dated but very clean. Shower was powerful and bathroom had bidet.
The spa and pool are situated across the courtyard and unfortunately there is a very strong smell of sulphur as you walk through to the pool.
The service in the bar was pretty much non existent, so we chose to have a drink elsewhere before finding somewhere for dinner.
The breakfast was included in the price and was very good too. Plenty of choice with some others choices for an extra cost.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again, but only in the original building. Rooms 2 and 3 are the ones with sun beds on the balconies and have a fantastic view of the lake.

Historic and atmospheric, beautiful location in the traditional old town, spacious restaurant and pier access, very convenient for ferry access and sunshine on terrace all day round. Food options were extensive but more expensive than comparable restaurants in the area, and it would have been nice to have a freshwater pool to cool down in. Spa and restaurant staff were fine, not overly friendly, but reception staff were excellent - their local restaurant and gelato recommendations were superb!

Fantastic location for shopping, dining and transport links. Very picturesque with helpful and friendly staff. Room comfortable and breakfast was fine.
The sulphur smells from the pool were very unpleasant and on occasion permeated through the hotel but the pool area itself was nice if a bit overheated.
Would be good to have tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Check in was not easy, as hotel failed to send email with details of parking arrangements. The restricted car access meant we had to park temporarily some distance from the hotel and walk to reception to establish where the parking had been arranged, before we could check in.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Best feature of the hotel is the lakeside location and thermal spa facilities that are excellent.

I found the hotel to be extremely basic, charging a premium for its \"location\". The surrounding area is filled with low-quality restaurants and souvenir shops catering to the daily influx of tourists. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay near Lake Garda, I recommend choosing a different hotel.

Location location location. This one ticks the boxes. Just inside the bridge onto the island it is right next to the shops, bars and restaurants and next to the ferry pier. Everything is a very short walk.
We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the water and ferry pier. Well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is old and classic historic in some ways and a little tired in others.
The only negative was the AC in the room did not cope with an early June heat. We set it to 19 but the room never got below 23 making it difficult to sleep at night. You can’t have the windows open as there are loads of flying insects hanging around.
I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

We asked to upgrade when we arrived as it really is on the lake shore. Our balcony overlooks the lake and the ferry terminal is right beside the hotel so easy to move from our last hotel to this one

The bar has indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the lake and it’s just a wonderful place to relax

We normally only leave 5 stars as we travel a lot and we're in the business. Sorry, couldn't so it this time. Elevator wasn't working. Be careful if you open your doors at night with the lights on. You will have a million bugs in your room within 10 minutes. They leave a thing hanging on the door explaining this but they do not tell you at check-in. Easily overlooked. Service at the outside restaurant by the lake was non-existent. Definitely wouldn't stay here again and won't recommend to anyone. Sorry, but it wasn't a good experience.

Great location - right next to the castle. We loved soaking in the thermal pool and using the spa after a long day of travel. Was great to stay in centre and wander around the old town early morning before the rest of the tourists arrived en mass. We felt rejuvenated and relaxed following our stay.

Lovely hotel and a prime location. Staff were friendly and the lowest price room was great! All in all, we had a nice stay but there just need to be a few tweaks to guest comfort to warrant the 4* in my opinion.
The spa is a bit misleading, you don’t really need to book a time slot as the booking is only for the use of a relaxer chair. Also, they didn’t provide slippers in the room - we were sent back to the room from the spa ( different building across the public footpath) to get changed into robes. We had to then walk back in robes and our boots so looked a bit silly! The breakfast wasn’t brilliant for 4* - cold cooked food and it wasn’t clear about coffee options as it all appeared to be self service with no coffee - then the waitress came and asked us for our coffee order a while after starting breakfast.
Fantastic pastries though, they’d be better sticking to continental really.

This was billed as a 4-star hotel, but it was very aged and beat up. It definitely is due for a makeover. Also, while we were there, they started a complete overhaul of the bathroom next door & the noise was unbearable. Initially, the staff just said \"sorry\", but ultimately, we were able to get moved to a different room. The breakfast & restaurant was pretty good and we didn't spend a ton of time there, but the place definitely needs a refresh.

Hotel is in a great location in the old town. Despite being central, I didn't feel that my room was overly noisy. The hotel decor and rooms are a little dated and in need of modernisation and some minor repairs, but everything was clean and tidy. The reception and dining staff were very friendly, and I think the restaurant was reasonably priced. The spa is excellent.

Parking is a hassel.
It is about 1/2 a kilometer away from the hotel.
Then you have to take a cart to and from the hotel even with your luggage.
In no where on the hotel descriptions this important information.
When we arrived, I had to park on th street, then walk 5 min to get to the hotel to get the code to enter the parking lot...
It would have been helpful to get this information ahead of time and the parking code.
Othe than that the hotel is clean with beautiful view on the lake.

Parking areas needs to be highlighted.

Arrived on a Sunday and initially we were redirected by the local police as they were not allowing cars to get any closer to the area where the hotels are located. We tried alternative routes and did not find any and next time we arrived at the roundabout we explained that we were staying overnight and allowed us through. We did not realise that the hotels have a separate parking area with a shuttle cart to take you to the hotel. We had difficulty getting the QR code for the parking from the Hotel but once we got that it was easy enough. This should be highlighted when booking on your site and would make the experience much more relaxed.

Definitely not 4 star maybe not even 3, we regret so much for spending a lot for a poor poor hotel, at that money they could at least offer a bottle of water, just two plastic cups in the room, it smelled weird and the ceiling was in bad sgape and full of insects, pool area is small and crowded and just felt cheap, the whole experience felt cheap. Breakfast was better and in the main building, we had to stay in an annex. When cheking out of parking we were also made to pay more because it was after 12.... but we checked in at 6 pm. Just a waste of money on a cheap stay.

We were located on the 2nd floor in the hotel that held the spa and we couldn't bear the smell that was being emitted from there to access the foyer and the lifts. We didn't even access this area due to the smell.
Breakfast was plentiful and again the views from here were amazing.

Great location, we had a fabulous room with a large balcony overlooking the lake. What let it down was the slow service. Ordering drinks on the patio was very slow and the breakfast buffet was frequently missing items waiting for staff to top up the dishes. During a few days wet weather it was difficult to get a coffee with areas undercover being ‘closed’ and unavailable. No service available on the spa/pool area. Could be a superb hotel due to its perfect location but the standard of service needs to be addressed.

A Well Situated Hotel Over The Draw Bridge.

We were met by a very friendly, smiling Receptionist called Nevenka. She took our details and gave us our room keys. On getting to the room we found it to be a double room with a large bed. I had request twin beds. We returned to reception and Nevenka without any fuss arranged for us to have a twin room. The room was again a large room. The hotel is ideally situated within the town walls. You are not allowed to take your vehicle into the town. You park in a designated area outside and are taken by a large golf buggy to your hotel. I would recommend this hotel to other visitors.

Sirmione, over shadowed by Como, is a hidden gem, and Hotel Sirmione is the perfect location to explore the peninsula. The staff is very helpful, the bar is perfect for an afternoon aperitif, plus the lobby piano offers much. Book it, you will not be disappointed.

We loved the location and the breakfast! The staff were friendly and responded quickly to our special requests for room temperature controls, extra pillows, and a golf cart reservation to our car. We didn’t love the smell of sulphur in our building and room, and we didn’t try the pool or spa. Maybe if we tried it, we wouldn’t mind as much. The bed was also very hard. We LOVED the location!

The staff at the hotel were helpful and arranging the stay and transportation was easy. The spa was wonderful. Our room was large with a generous balcony- really beautiful! Just a few minor things like missing soap and shampoo for the shower but were easily fixed. Good location but busy with lots of tourist activity.

You did not have the option to eat inside for evening dinner, and were forced to eat outside. You were also not allowed to sit on the pier before 12 noon. The very reason we booked this hotel was because we had been here before and had enjoyed our stay. To be honest the majority of the staff including the manager are very rude, unaccomadating, and not for the customer. It is very clear standards have dropped right down. Even the breakfast wasn't up to scratch, and again very rude staff, not even wanting to get you a coffee. This wasn't just felt by us but fellow holiday makers also. We will never stay here again as we feel the hotel has spoilt was should have been a lovely holiday which we had looked forward to all year.

Excellent location, lovely having a drink by the lake, staff were very helpful, bedroom / shower could be upgraded. Room 15 had a shower inside a very small bath, no room at all, surely these days a walk in shower is a minimum for a 4 star hotel for the money they’re charging.
No privacy in bathroom with light on in evenings which overlooked the restaurants, as the window had see through blinds.
No tea making facility within the bedroom, however, they did provide a kettle when requested.
