We checked in for two nights in the junior room, facing the lake. The colors used in the hotel is very calming. And i had birthday welcoming juice in the room for my Birthday. The staff are very helpful and nice. Room was clean and nice. Beware it has open bathroom layout.
Balcony is very small but having the view of the lake in front of your sight from the bed is worth it. Unfortunately since the cant turn the air conditioner due to the local city laws, we had to open the windows and mosquitos were all around. And was noisy little bit from the nearby rooms. I shall suggest to the hotel to have portable air conditioners for guests who require extra cooling.
Breakfast was very good quality although limited in variety.
Overall was very pleasant stay.

Our stay was so nice and relaxing! The property is stunning and the various pools and saunas are wonderful to have included. We also took advantage of a treatment at the spa which was also great. The staff are so attentive and personable. The location is perfect as it’s just down from the hustle and bustle but super close to walk to everything. We would highly recommend!

Fabulous hotel. Small but perfectly formed. Lovely staff who would bend over backwards to help. Arrived at local train station in a dreadful downpour with no taxis for the last 1/2 hour. Phoned hotel and they sorted out transport in minutes for us. The thermal pool was divine and the massage at the spa was exceptional. Breakfast was lovely. Everything was a wonderful finish to our busy one-month trip of Italy. Lake Garda laps the shoreline of the hotel and the short walk to the old town of Sirmione was 10 mins. Terrific stay. Sad to leave.

This hotel is excellent in every aspect. Perfect ealking distance from the old town, lake views, varied and deliciuos options for breakfast and staff who are very friendly and happy to help.

I would definitely pay more for the rooms directly overlooking the lake. I'd say 106, 206 and 306 are the best.

It's very easy to catch the ferry to everywhere across the lake. Fares start from 3 euros and a glass of very nice local wine, Lugana, is 4 euros which makes for a lovely boat ride.

We stayed in the Junior Suite (Lake view). The room had no fault, had a modern touch and it was very clean and comfortable. Dual sinks and separate bathroom + shower elevated the quality of the stay. We enjoyed every single staffs’ hospitality, very friendly and professional. The scenery you have in jacuzzi/pool is hard to beat, especially accessing to the thermal pool is effortless. Special thanks to Francesca (and other Front desk staffs) and Gerardo (and other F&B staffs). We really appreciate all your kind help with organising spa treatments, airport transfer and private boat tour - they were also fantastic! I would definitely book them next time again!!

Simply the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The cleaning staff were excellent the room was clean and tidy every day . The reception staff always helpful , they helped book restaurants and did everything they could to make your stay enjoyable . The spa is fantastic , lake view rooms amazing breakfast plentiful and delicious . Lake Garda is stunning i absolutely adore it there . I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Short walk into the town with plenty of dining options. Spa and thermal pool were amazing, with excellent facilities such as multiple different saunas. Rooms were clean but basic, nothing overly luxurious, yet pleasant.

The onsite restaurant is lacking options, but sufficient for pool side snacks and drinks. Most staff good and attentive but some rather rude, especially one female member of staff, which lets the hotel down. Overall a pleasant stay though.

Fabulous peaceful hotel a short walk from the centre of Sirmione. Best of both worlds with a pool but in a cove with direct access to the lake. The lake view suites are fabulous. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Bottle of bubbly on arrival and bottle of wine in our last night. Organised transfer to the airport too. Will definitely return!

Had a hidden daily parking charge of 20 E that was not disclosed on Expedia website. Hotel advertised ample parking and wrote in advance but not told about this fee. Was a surprise at checkout.

Also charged an 80 E spa fee when all we did was shower there after checking out and spending time at the pool before heading home. Never used an other services that day although we used others that we paid a lot for.

Otherwise a fantastic experience.

The front office staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is just on the edge of the old town and castle which is ideal with Pugh the hassle for vehicles inside the old town and island of Sirmione and so it’s very walkable too. We loved the closeness to the island bars, shops and restaurants too. Our room felt modern and had a fabulous view over the small beach and the lake.

We booked Hotel Ocelle last minute as we travelled to Sirmione and decided we wanted to stay.

The hotel is incredible! Every member of staff was friendly, helpful & a pleasure to deal with. The hotel room was beautiful, with excellent air con/heating, super comfortable bed & great shower - robes and slippers are also supplied! It’s only a short walk to the historical centre, too.

The real star of this hotel is the spa/pool/thermal pool area, though. The view over the lake from the pool is stunning and in the evening with the thermal pool lit up, it’s so peaceful - we didn’t want to leave!

If you are planning a trip to Sirmione, I highly recommend Hotel Ocelle & absolutely recommend visiting the thermal pool.

Hotel Ocelle staff were extremely wonderful to us. Every single person was attentive and helpful, from helping us book a car to rent to just little tips. We stayed at a luxury hotel before this and they were rude and dismissive, and while on an American scale you’d call this a 3 star hotel- the staff made it very wonderful.

Extremely convenient walk into old town sirmione which gives loads of options for food.

The hotel itself is fine, small rooms and not extremely high end but comparatively it seems to be one of the nicest in a very busy area.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and kept us very full. The kind staff even kept offering omelettes if we’d like, they really were so nice.

Absolutely wonderful in every way. The staff were so friendly and instinctively attentive - Without doubt the best hotel staff I've met.

The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from Sirmione 'old town' and situated on the lake with it's own private beach which was beautiful. There is parking onsite but they also offer airport transfers. Infact seeing as I mentioned it - even the parking garage was beautifully clean!

Our room was immaculate, cleaned every day and was perfectly comfortable.

The spa/pool area was never too busy and an idyllic place to relax during the day and evening. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, as was the lunch we had on one of the days.

I have literally nothing critical to say about this hotel at all. Book it - you wont regret it.

Beautiful little spa hotel, close enough to the castle, staff couldn’t do enough for you. Good sized rooms, very comfy beds, stunning views from balcony. Great breakfast. Free bikes. Only slight negative was the aircon in the bedroom. Seemed to have a mind of its own and for the most part didnt work so could be quite uncomfortable at night. I did mention it on day one and I believe it was checked so not sure why it didn’t get better. The staff are so lovely you don’t like to complain and we got by with our own portable fan but would have struggled if the weather has been hotter

Pros: clean rooms, great location, short walk from Sirmione old town, great room with view of the lake (junior suite), very friendly staff, great spa, fantastic location.

Cons: lunch and dinner options extremely limited. Would benefit from having a wider menu, especially for vegetarians.

Although staff are very friendly and helpful, crossed wires on whether water and teas are included/complimentary (conflicting information from staff at desk) which became very frustrating, especially at check out.

Really bad sewer/drainage smell in the pool and around the hotel (especially at breakfast) and in the shower within the room and balcony. Very off putting.

Breakfast could be a lot better - not enough choice for milks etc and need to ask for plant based milks (happy to ask but no idea this was an option as no notes anywhere). During the same trip, we had stayed at a 3* hotel in Verona and the breakfast was a lot better - more choice in all areas.

Overall a great hotel, especially as the staff are so friendly but for the amount you pay to stay there, I don’t think it’s worth the money given the cons.

Best place for couples in the peninsula

The hotel was nice, walking distance from center of the peninsula. Breakfast was great, with many options but a bit pricey. We had massages during out stay accommodated in the last minute which was awesome. The spa is also very useful, but during weekdays has a very short opening time,I guess in the winter time they should have an extend hour considering you can’t spend as much time outside in the pool. All employees are very nice and helpful. A big shout to Marta and Martina !!!!! They are the best !!!! We miss already the place !!!!

A great stay near the historic center at the lake

After a relaxing stay in Lefay Resort & Spa in Gargnano we spent half a week in the touristic center of Sirmione. The location is great near the old city, and the garden of the hotel is connected directly to the lake. The room was good and the staff very friendly. One of the items to highlight there are enough sunbed’s so an early wake up call is not necessary 😀

A beautiful hotel right on the lake shore front. Lovely pool with sunbathing area, along with an outdoor thermal pool. Easy walking access to Sirmione and all the restaurants and shops there. Good service and fantastic breakfast. We did a private boat trip around the lake for the afternoon, which the hotel helped organise. I would definitely return to Lake Garda and stay at this hotel.

A lovely home from home friendly small quiet hotel in an excellent location.
Within walking distance to a wide choice of restaurants and attractions.
We had a deluxe lake double room with great amenities- hairdryer bathrobes slippers flip flops toiletries coffee machine blackout curtains and a great view.

Why can’t I live in this hotel? It couldn’t get any better! Form the staff, to the room.. views of the Lake and the food it’s just beautiful and I can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful hotel in a great location

Stayed 5 nights at hotel Ocelle and found it to be a fabulous hotel. Spotlessly clean, modern with friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty with enough choice. Private beach area looking out to Lake Garda which was wonderful. Location perfect and only a short walk to the Castle and restaurants.

The hotel is excellent, nicer than my expectations. The staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very relaxed vibe but with great service. It's a nice size so you see the same staff, and they remember you. Everything is clean and the hotel has a good modern design. The spa is massive and very well kitted out. It is a short walk to the town centre, which is welcome because it is quiet in the hotel. Tge outdoor area was lovely, so nice to be direvtly on the lake. Enough sun beds for all guests, which is welcome. It's hard to fault the place. If I ever go back to Sirmione, I would book straight in.

Lovely relaxing hotel

We stayed here for 1 week as an end to a busy honeymoon. Very relaxing atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted. Lovely new modern hotel with small pool and small stoney beach area. Located 5 min walk from the centre of Sirmione. Rooms clean and tidy with fresh water in the mini fridge every day, although they seem to forget to clean under the bed. Bar staff throughout day were brilliant, always made us feel welcome and Claudio was recommending drinks to us. Would definitely return.
