The pool area was lovely and there seemed to be enough sun loungers for everyone. The room was clean but a bit basic. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

There were a couple of rules I found odd:
- Guests staying on a B&B basis had to use a different dining room for breakfast to those staying on a half board basis, which was not as nice. The same food was available.
- We had an evening flight but after checkout, we were not allowed to use the swimming pool.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location . Situated a 30 minute walk from the castle , shuttle bus can get you there in 5 mins for 2 Euros. The staff at the hotel are amazing giving us lots of information on the area and how to get there .

What a wonderful ten days in Hotel Du Parc Sirmione. The hotel was flawless: clean, modern and comfortable. The pool was lovely and never too busy. There were always a few spare sun beds even in peak Summer period. The room was spacious and included a sliding divider to allow our daughters some privacy. Air conditioning was a welcome addition in the summer heat.
Perhaps the most memorable parts of our hotel stay was the food. Half board guests are allocated a reserved table all week and the food was exceptional. Breakfast is a buffet style assortment of pastries, fresh fruit, cooked eggs and bacon and other continental items. Dinner is a la carte with four courses served daily. With at least four choices for each. If the food is a bit too fancy for little ones, they’ll cook something simple to order, like bolognese, lasagne or chicken and chips. The restaurant staff make the trip. A special shout out to Raju Ahmed who is exceptionally friendly, Simone, Giulliano and the Restaurant Manager who all went above and beyond to make our day special. The reception and cleaning team are also hard working and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located a short 20 minute walk to the Old Town, ten minutes from local shops and a 3 minute walk to the shuttle bus stop. Bus Line 026 is also a ten minute walk which gets you to Pescheria which has buses and trains to all the local attractions like Garda Land (free shuttle) or trains to Verona and Venice. Would highly recommend Hotel du Parc. I

Wonderful hotel for a family holiday

Very comfortable and clean hotel, perfectly positioned on the shore of Lake Garda. Great indoor and outdoor pool so no matter what the weather you can relax. Hotel Du Lac is only a 9 min walk from Bardolino town along a lovely boardwalk by the lake so is in a great position in the town. Would thoroughly recommend going here.

The Staff were very friendly and welcoming.What was a let down was extras charged for e.g. tea/coffee facilities in room 8euros a day and great shuttle service daily to Sirmoine but didn't tell it cost 1.80euros each way. Room was a standard room but clean and tidy.

Comfortable hotel, no frills, helpful staff. Shuttle bus to Sirmione old town was useful and convenient. We visited many of the Lakeside towns and it is a very beautiful place. we stayed 5 nights, would definitely go back, probably would hire a car next time. Best restaurant was very close to hotel, called Bolle. Ferry trips from Sirmione to various lakeside towns and harbours. These are all beautiful. Cable car at Malcesine up mountain was a 2 hour wait in a queue. Better and free was the walk up the mountain at Garda, fabulous views. Warm and sunny weather every day.

The breakfast was plentiful with a very good selection to chose from. There was a very nice swimming pool with sun loungers. It was in a great location and very close to the beach. A lovely little haven just outside Sirmione.

This is a lovely warm and well run small hotel on the outskirts of Sirmione but with Colombare within a short walk. Our room, a junior suite was perfect with icy cold air con and modern design. A dividing moveable wall between the two sleeping areas offered up necessary privacy. The bathroom was spacious and very well equipped. The food is home cooked, seasonal and locally sourced. Tasty and relatively healthy selections. 4 courses each night. Lots of fish. Lots of fresh veg. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection more than adequate with plenty of choice. Nothing in the way of entertainment. Pool area comfy although could do with a few more sun beds and umbrellas. That said it was never a bun fight to get a chair (unless it was mid afternoon). Big green pool towels provided. Bikes available to hire. Poor reception staff had to put up with our endless list of questions but never lost patience. Local 1€ shuttle bus into town runs late. Mainstream transport very limited after 9pm. Taxis pricey. It’s a lovely 30 minute walk into town along the lake. Marina 100m away from hotel. Swimming area close to the hotel. Inexpensive sun beds and water sports on offer. Give Hotel Du Parc a try. Don’t expect a 5* super complex but expect a warm welcome and good service.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Kept spotless at all times, staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It’s a lovely quiet hotel, we could always get beds by the pool and service in the bar and restaurant was really quick. The room was modern and really clean with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was brilliant. Sirmione is a beautiful place and this hotel made it a perfect holiday.

All that Sirmione can offer on your doorstep

From greeting to goodbye we loved it here. Super clean, lovely quiet pool area. Food is good, breakfast was great. Staff couldn't do more for us. One gripe the bar is in the reception area, open plan. Once closed at 23.00 people tended to hang around there, one of the nights we had people screaming and laughing until 00.30. Some of the rooms above reception open out to it so the noise can be a problem. It didn't happen any other night after. I'd imagine plenty complained.

Amazon hotel well above the average 4 star.

We stayed 3 nights. We were booked for just the breakfast meal but when we tried dinner the first night we decided to dine at the hotel every night. Food was good, different every day and probably worked out cheaper than if we had eaten at same quality restaurant outside. All staff were courteous and helpful. I swam at the outdoor pool.

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms which was very nice. Lots of outlets to include a usb port built into the wall. The room was very clean with nice linings and towels. The staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke English well and made us feel welcome. The only issue is that the address did not bring us to the hotel but if you keep driving up the road you will find it.

We arrived to find we had not only been upgraded to a balcony room with a view of the lake, but the front desk staff welcomed us with refreshments (beer) in our room! Good parking next to the hotel and it was a quiet area. There are many restaurants in the local area a short walk away. The castle and main village of Sirmione a nice 25 minute walk away. Rooms were clean and comfortable if a bit dated. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in the vicinity of Sirmieone...

Hotel du Parc is located near a marina at the base of the Sirmieone Peninsula. it's a half hour walk to the old town where all the visitors flock. A nice feature is the hotel's underground garage, very convenient and protected. The hotel has a pool with chaise lounges, towels, etc. The reception area has couches to sit down, read newspapers or chat with other people. A small bar in also located there.
A buffet breakfast, included in the price of the room is very nice. We also ate 1 dinner there. food was good, fresh and tasty. The big dining room is a bit bare, but pleasant enough to dine there.
There is an elevator (small) but we chose to walk up the stairs anyhow. The room we got was on a top floor with a bit distant view of the lake with some other hotel in the foreground. Very nice night view with the twinkling lights of a village across Lake Garda.

We would definitely recommend using Sirmione at base location for stay in lower Lake Garda. We spent 2 days visiting other resorts on the lake and 2 in Sirmione itself, but Sirmione has the nicest atmosphere to spend an evening with a large selection of restaurants and street cafes. It's a little pricy but so are most resorts on the lake. Hotel du Park is nearer Columbare, it was convenient with a good bus service every 15-20 minutes in and out of centre for only 1 euro assuming ticket machine working. Could have used hotel courtesy bus had we been aware. Hotel du Parc is nice and clean and the rooms reasonably spacious. Biggest regret was not taking swimming costumes- daily temps got to 30oC in our stay. We flew via Verona, spending our last day in the city. The city relies totally on evening opera performances and the story of Romeo and Juliet. Avoid Verona city and just use the airport.

Lovely hotel, good value, close to transport

Our experience of Hotel Du Parc was very pleasant and restful stay. The staff were always very polite, hard working and the hotel was looked after really well. Great standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. The pool was pretty and quiet to sit by but the water was very cold! However it was only mid May time. We dined in the hotel for breakfast as part of our stay and paid twice for evening meals. The breakfast variety was excellent, every kind of breakfast drink catered for and a good mix of hot and cold breakfast food. The hot food not very imaginative at times but the variety of everything was excellent. The staff were kept very busy replenishing the breakfast food and drink constantly and nothing too much trouble.
The evening food there was a choice of a limited menu for 20/25 euros or the main menu full choice. I have to say the limited menu wasn't great, I would give 3/5 but for convenience and value for money if on a budget it's 4/5.
A very pretty hotel with beautiful views of the lake not far away, the weather wow, wish we were back there. Yes I would go back again.

Overall we had a very good experience. The hotel and the room were in good condition and very clean. It's vital to read the welcome book to understand everything that is available to you without even leaving the hotel. Although the breakfast was a bit 'iffy', we couldn't complain since it was included in the price. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful but the breakfast/dinner waiters seemed a bit moody. Anyway, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it to friends looking to spend a nice few days in Italy.

The hotel staff were very good and helpful, but the pictures on the Internet are nothing like the actual hotel rooms although they were clean they are in bad need of updating. They are very dull and old fashioned , not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel. The dining room although very clean lacked atmosphere. The food was adequate but very continental. Lake Garda Hotel du parc stay

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel du parc. The room were very comfortable except the air conditioning was a bit warm while in other rooms it was a bit cold. Breakfast was excellent and staff especially at reception were excellent. I found some of the staff in the restaurant a bit impatient. Pool was very good but might need more supervision as there were a group of lads drinking and generally messing one of the days which I thought was a bit dangerous.

Autumn Break in Lake Garda

This is a very nice hotel which has a pleasant atmosphere. The second floor room (at the front of the building) which we occupied overlooked Lake Garda. It was clean and large enough with a good bathroom for two people. A flatscreen television gave access to a number of English channels, which was fine for occasional viewing. The free WiFi access in the room was most welcome, if sometimes a little temperamental. There is a nice pool with seating area around it. The breakfasts provided were good with a very reasonable and acceptable choice of food. The evening meals were of an excellent standard and very reasonably priced. ( We were on Bed & Breakfast only tariff and not on the 'Half Board', but we did dine in on several of our evenings there)! The service was excellent. We were made to feel most welcome by all the staff that we encountered. The manageress Sylvia was very friendly and welcoming. She seemed to take time to speak with her guests and make them feel at home. I have read some critical comments already expressed in previous reviews but have no reason to support them. Our experience of this hotel was extremely positive. I would be more than happy to stay here again and would certainly recommend the Hotel du Parc to friends.

We stayed in the hotel in July. The location is far from the old town and we always had to get bus or taxi to town (€8 for a trip). Taxi or buses don't run late. Breakfast wasn't a very lovely experience.. Poor lobby seating. Very small pool. Not on the lake either. I wouldn't generally mind compromising on these for the right price but it was quite expensive..

Staying for wedding.

Nice hotel but not enough storage for clothes. Would definitely need a chest of drawers in the room.
We were only staying 8 nights but our usual holiday is 2 weeks and would have normally had more
clothes with us. Also was there for my sons wedding which was held in the centre of Sirmionie and no full length mirror in the room.
My mother also had a room and had to pay over the odds as she was on her own and had to take a double room.

I stayed for 5 nights with a girl friend in a twin bed room with balcony. Very helpful reception staff. Daily room service was excellent. Our only negative observation was the lack of privacy screens on balconies, and we did find this very disappointing. The 20 minute brisk walk into the old town was ideal for us, partly on the lake side. Boat trips were easy to access. Exiting the hotel and walking away from Sirmione was where we found the best two restaurants - there service was much more leisurely than in Sirmione itself.

Rooms were last furnished 20 years ago. Air conditioning is loud, bathroom really basic, no internet in rooms, breakfast modest etc. On the positive side- rooms are clean, staff is pleasant but the overal feel is like in a time-warp. There are stll using the old classic keys - which kind of sums up the whole experience. Definitelly not a 4 star hotel. The only thing it has going for it is location, location, location - and it is a big thing all right. However - not to be recomended for more than a one-night stay.

We stayed for 6 nights in June 2013 and could not fault the hotel. From the moment of our arrival all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was great, a pleasant 30 minute gentle stroll into the centre of Sirmione where we ate each night, although others staying at the hotel were highly complimentary of the food in the hotel restaurant. Overall, excellent value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing few days at Lake Garda.

Reasonable hotel in lovely area

We stayed here for four nights from September 25th - 29th. Overall, the hotel was kept very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. Our rate included breakfast which was typical contintental fare. There was little choice of cold meats and cheese and some of the cooked food could have been better. There is a free shuttle bus that runs from the hotel to the centre of Sirmione at certain points throughout the day but the timetable at reception wasn't up to date and displayed times that the bus no longer runs at. The price of the bike hire service was particularly good but the lights were broken on one of the bikes that we hired.

On a slightly different note - transport to the area from Verona airport can be pricy if you take a taxi. We spent €80 for a one way trip. There is a shuttle bus (look for the 'aerobus') that will take you from the airport to Verona bus station throughout the day and then a further bus that you can take to Sirmione (it will drop you on the corner by the hotel, or by the castle in Sirmione if you stay on until the end). I would recommend that you take this option if you're trying to save some money!

one hotel - two different opinions

The hotel's averaged ranks are due to great differences in between the two rooms we've got. The first, located in the hotel's old wing, was unpleasnt, not clean enough, with a crowded bathroom, leaking shower and even a few moskuitos; after complaining, we got a nice, lighted, newly renovated with lake view room in their new wing. The first room suits a 2 stars hotel - the second one a nice 4 stars one.
Breakfast was good and well assorted; the hotel's location, despite the 2.4 km from Sirmione center, is O.K. - they've a regular shuttle to city center each hour (up to 2100 - which is too early !) and you also can drive your car and park near for a reasonable price.

This is a very pleasant hotel in Sirmione. It is ideally situated a short 15 minute walk along the lakeside into the old town. Rooms are a good size and very clean. It has a very nice pool with no shortage of beds and equally pleasnat grounds for shade. Breakfast is excellent with all you would want including cooked options. We would definelty stay here again next time we come to Sirmione.

SeaView is not what you expect

The view does see the water but its only at a distance and depends where you are standing, aprt from that pool area needed a clean but was large. The breakfast was good. Hotel was a little away from the town area but rented a bike and was there in 5 minutes. Be sure to park in the gated area or you are likely to be broken into. Restaurant/pizza at main road is not part of hotel, recommend you stay away it was awful.

Parc Hotel, Sirmione Italy

Parc Hotel was a very nice place to stay in. It is in a quite neighborhood but still close to the castle. You can walk alongside the lake all the way to there.

Don't Pay for a Lake View

Very satisfactory with a congenial and helpful staff ... and a truly excellent breakfast buffet. Our only real complaint was that our \"lake view\" room had only slivers of lake to see. However, the common terrace had nice views where you could relax and take in Lago de Garda.

When we arrived, the staff were extremely helpful. They offered us bicycle hire for free (as it was late in the day and most of the bikes were available).

Das Hotel macht alles in allem einen sehr guten Eindruck, alle Räumlichkeiten sowie der Poolbereich waren immer sauber, das Frühstücksangebot war wunderbar, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. W-Lan kostenlos vor Ort, die Zimmer bedarfsgerecht eingerichtet. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden es sehr weiterempfehlen bzw. auch selbst genauso nochmal buchen

6 gode dage i Sirmione ved Gardasøen

Dejligt hotel i den centrale del af Sirmione by (ikke den gamle bydel på spidsen af landtangen). Dog hårde senge uden meget komfort. Værelset lidt for lille efter vores smag og så manglede der en parasol eller markise på terrassen. Gode parkeringsforhold og let at ankomme til hotellet.
Kort afstand til restauranter og en såkaldt badestrand.
