The hotel was first class and in a good location a few minutes walk to the ferry terminal, tourist centre and castle.
Very nice rooms and an excellent breakfast with extensive choice.
Staff were very helpful.
A very good fish restaurant nearby was worth a visit. Nice view over the lake.

Lovely room and pool at this hotel, spotlessly clean, though lacking a gym.

Breakfast was average sadly. Coffee machine good.

We were on a ground floor room and unforunalty could hear music from foyer until 11 each night rather loud. Only a problem if you don’t have earplugs and go to bed early though!

Very enjoyable stay for 5 nights. Clean hotel & friendly staff. Reception staff could not do enough, special thanks to Michael, Samwell & Elenor. Lovely breakfast. Pool area relaxing with lots of availability for loungers & sun brollies. Great location, Bus stop 15 minutes walk. Old town 15-20 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The buffet breakfast was behind screens so you had to ask for everything. I have never experienced this before in an Italian hotel. The 'balcony' was pretty useless as there was no room for a chair, and being on the side of the hotel only had a view of the building next door. Handy that the shuttle bus from the centre stops right outside the hotel.

Good points - convenient distance from the town with a bus stop outside, clean, friendly staff, adequate breakfast, nice size bed and air con.
But - pool was cold (as expected at the end of the season) ) and although our room had a balcony it’s not really usable as you can’t open the door fully and it is so small there isn’t even a chair on it but I knew that when I booked it. Overall a nice stay.

Brilliant hotel.

The hotel is well placed midway between Sirmione old town and Colombare centre. A 15 minute walk in either direction with option of a shuttle bus which stops right outside the hotel. The hotel is well appointed, exceptionally clean and offers a good breakfast with something for everybody. With a swimming pool at the front and ample parking at the back it stands next to a major road with easy reach of Verona airport. The rooms are spacious and stylish with small fridge and balcony. This is an excellent hotel for a first time visit to Lake Garda with friendly staff who speak good English.

We stayed for 5 days in a family room this July and were very impressed. It is about 20 minutes walk to the Historic Town Centre, but there is a regular and cheap shuttle bus runs from close by. The pool is the right size for the hotel, the parking was sufficient and the breakfasts were ample and varied. The hotel was also very clean - both the bedrooms and public areas were spotless.

The highlight for us was the service we received. In particular the two young women at reception were outstanding - great advice on activities, giving us discount vouchers for attractions, even organising a "packed breakfast" for us as we were leaving for the airport at 5am. They were a credit to the hotel and very professional and helpful throughout our stay.

Mother and university age son stayed for a sightseeing week. We had ample ensuite twin room with balcony. The hotel is very clean and the pool really lovely, the water was so clear but felt like freshwater not the usual chlorine feeling. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk beside the lake up to Sirmione and also enjoyed the more local restaurants right on the lake shore. The reception staff gave us good advice on local trips and produced maps for every occasion.

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel. We like it as it is not far away from the fortress/city centre and near the lake. It is modest but cozy and with very friendly personell. Although it is near the main road you don't hear the traffic and can sleep by the open window. Breakfast is very rich and tasty.

Perfect and very affordable location for a walking tour of the sights of Sirmione. Our room was super clean and comfortable and had a balcony with double lake views east and west. The room was ultra modern with a swipe pass card for entry and must be inserted into a slot in room to maintain certain electrical functions. To conserve energy those functions cease when you withdraw card as you leave room.
The staff was wonderful, friendly, spoke English well and went out of their way to provide an extra early breakfast as we had a rental car due to be returned in Verona.
The location was luxurious and reminded us of St. Armands, Sarasota FL, complete with gardens and palm trees.
Great value for the location and I would definitely recommend to friends and would gladly stay there again.

Think easyJet: basic, very orange and does the job

If you're looking for a place to sleep then Suisse fits the bill - it's basic but you get what you need and to a pretty good standard.

The hotel's in a decent location, the wifi is excellent, breakfast is OK - there's limited choice but did the job, pool looks good but is next to a main road and the sunbeds are brutally uncomfortable, there's ample parking, a great view of the lake, staff are knowledgeable, and it's less than 5 minutes by car to the shops.

If you want to spend time in the hotel and to to relax by the pool this probably isn't the place for you. If we were passing through we'd not hesitate to stop here again though.

friendly pleasant hotel

After many hours of non stop flying then taking the train from Milan, we received a warm welcome at Hotel Suisse from the reception staff. The room was comfortable with a small fridge. There were some lovely inexpensive restaurants only a short walk away. Breakfast was exceptional, and gluten free additions not a problem.
Although situated close to the 'main road' traffic noise was not a problem. And we were there for the may day holiday weekend which was a busy time.

Good hotel, great value for money

Nice hotel in a great location close to the main town if Sirmione (beautiful little town and scenery around it). The hotel itself seems a bit 'old-fashioned' but I guess this is the Italian style in general. We had a ground floor room, which was a bit noisy in the morning (so try to get another room if you can), but otherwise it was fine: spacey, clean, bed was comfortable, etc. Best part about the hotel is that you have parking spots in front of the hotel and can walk to town from there in about 15min, so you can avoid the traffic chaos into Sirmione itself which had queues already in May so I don't even want to imagine the summer. Only real downside was that the breakfast was a bit disappointing, with probably some of the worst scrambled eggs I have had in my many years of traveling. So overall a decent hotel, and considering the low price we paid certainly good enough for one night in Sirmione.

Instead of turning left to walk to Sirmione turn right and walk to Colombare about half the distance and by looking around you will find a least three places to eat which are of excellent quality and value.

Wir hatten einen insgesamt sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hi Hotel in Sirmione. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, insbesondere dass wir unser Auto nach dem Check-out noch für einige Stunden auf dem Hotelparkplatz stehen lassen durften. Dadurch konnten wir die verbleibende Zeit in Sirmione noch in vollen Zügen genießen.

Zudem hat uns der schöne Hotelpool sehr gut gefallen – ideal zum Entspannen an einem sonnigen Tag am Gardasee.

Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war solide und erfüllte die Erwartungen, auch wenn es noch etwas abwechslungsreicher sein dürfte.

Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Hotel für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in Sirmione.

Sehr neues Hotel, leider für 3 Personen etwas klein die Zimmer. Da man sich nie so lange drinnen aufgehalten hat war es ok. Sehr gute Frühstück , sehr reichhaltig
Was zu beanstanden wäre ist die Schiebetür zum Badezimmer, leider war diese nicht so mit Sinn monitiert. Die Tür blieb immer einen kleinen Spalt offen (hätte man sogar von dort aus Fernsehen können...) Das gleiche gilt auch für die Balkontür die man leider nicht komplett öffnen konnte weil das Regal dahinter war. Man musste erst die Tür leicht öffnen dann die anderen Türflügel öffnen dann kam man ungehindert raus...
Sonst saubere Zwechmässige Zimmer. Duschschaum und Shampoo auch vorhanden. Parkplätze könnten zum Engpass werden, hatten Glück das wir Abends einen bekommen haben

Hotellet er super fint, poolområdet rent og pænt - ligeledes var værelserne.
Vi havde dog booket hotellet under den forudsætning at de reklamerede med at være et
voksenhotel (14+) men til vores store overraskelse var det på ingen måde overholdt. Der var både 5-8 årlige børn samt spædbørn der absolut ikke kunne bidrage med ro og afslapning ved hverken morgenmaden eller poolen.

Ikke tilfredsstillende at sælge sig på at være et voksenhotel endda på hotellets egen hjemmeside, og det så slet ikke er tilfældet.

Ønsker i et hotelophold i fine omgivelser, men som kun er for voksne, så er dette hotel ikke stedet.

Mycket hjälpsam personal. Bra frukost. Inte alls lyhört. Ett väldigt fin och nyrenoverat hotell - ser dock inte ut som bilderna. Stora delar är inte färdigbyggt än så bilderna är genererade, etc så fanns bara en av poolerna nu när vi bodde här. Personligen hade jag velat ha riktiga bilder så man vet vad man kan förvänta sig. Har informerat hotels.com omedelbart att bilderna inte är äkta, men det var inget de var intresserade av.

Wir haben im Sommer eine Woche mit der Familie im Hotel Suisse verbracht und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und wenn ich sehr schreibe meine ich das auch so. Vielen Dank an die Reinigungskräfte. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Das Hotel ist perfekt für Ausflüge geeignet ob zu Fuß mit dem Auto oder mit dem Bus der direkt vorm Hotel hält. Der Pool ist auch sehr gepflegt und wir hatten ihn oft für uns allein, herrlich. Es war eine schöne Zeit vielen Dank.

Nice hotel 20 minutes walking to Sirmione downtown, breakfasts so so as the quality does not feel that good, also is a buffet but the staff serve your food and they serve as little is possible. the bed in the room was really comfortable. The swimming pool was really nice and the view to the lake is great from the hotel. The location in general is really good if you plan to visit other towns in the lake, I recommend you to go to Limone sul garda and Bardolino the most beautiful villages in the lake, and I can tell this because I drove around the whole lake, I am a person that likes to read the experiences other people have to book a hotel room, if you are like me I recommend this hotel if you are not that bother about breakfast.

Wir waren zu zweit als Freundinnen in dem Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr gut und man kann in beide Richtungen die schöne Stadt besichtigen. An der Rezeption waren alle sehr nett und ein bisschen Deutsch konnten Sie auch. Wir waren eine Woche dort. Besonders gut hatte mir der Pool gefallen, wir waren meinstens Früh/Mittag etwas unternehmen und nachmittags sind wir dann oft an den Pool und es waren immer noch genug Liegen frei. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Trés belle chambre avec une petite vue sue le lac. Personnel disponible. La piscine est un plus.

Es war dem Preis entsprechend gut. Was ich sehr schade finde , das man sich nicht selber bedienen kann beim Morgenessen.Die Scheiben sind immer noch dort ,wie bei Corona. Der Pool wird gut gepflegt, das Personal ist freundlich.

Hyvällä sijainnilla oleva siisti hotelli. Shuttle bussista voisi hotellikin informoida. Myös allaspyyhkeistä olisi voitu informoida. Laktootsion maito aamupalalla oli positiivinen yllätys.

We hebben hier een fijn verblijf gehad. Als was netjes en schoon. We hadden een mooie, grote kamer. Het zwembad was ook prettig om erbij te hebben.
Het enige minpuntje vonden we het ontbijt, er is meer dan genoeg keuze maar je mag het niet zelf pakken bij het buffet. Je moet een medewerker aanwijzen waar je wilt hebben en dan schept zijn het op. Dat vonden we niet prettig, omdat je zelf lekker even wilt kijken en we soms lang moesten wachten

Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera tripla ristrutturata di recente, molto pulita e con un'insonorizzazione molto buona.
Struttura con una bella piscina esterna e parcheggio auto comodo in loco.
Colazione buona e servita in un locale vista lago di Garda.

Hotel Suisse in Sirmione is a small, very clean hotel with a small pool. The rooms are quite small though sufficient. The quality of the breakfast was astonishing, diverse and very tasty, thumbs up. Parking spaces are available and the location of the hotel ist great, in walking distance of the old town

NettesHotel in guter Lage mit Parkplatz

Insgesamt ist es ein sehr nettes Hotel in guter Lage, fußläufig zu den wichtigsten Attraktionen und Restaurants in Sirmione.
Der Pool ist sehr schön und auch das Frühstücksbuffet war gut ausgestattet! Der Service ist sehr gut!
