Great value accomm with pool near old town

Staff were so helpful. Location was excellent, 20 min walk to old town, 20 min walk to new town and shuttle bus stop right outside if you don’t want to walk. Peaceful
Private jetty and lovely clean pool were a big bonus.

Absolutely amazing location! The hotel has been updated and we loved the furnishings. Staff so helpful and friendly. Real Italian experience. The pool was fantastic, my daughter loved it. Had aircon for those warm nights and a spacious balcony to relax and enjoy the sunset!

The apartments are in a good position between old and new towns and there is a very cheap shuttle bus which regularly goes up and down the peninsula for those who do not want to walk. It is about 15 minutes to walk to a supermarket in the new town.
The staff at the apartments are friendly and helpful and in many ways you are provided with 'small hotel' service eg you can get coffee and croissants in the morning if you wish and there is an honesty bar.
The property is clean and stylishly decorated - lots of nice features - and it is very relaxed. The kitchenettes are reasonably equipped to prepare basic meals if not eating out. The private beach is a small strip with its own pier, lovely to sit at in the evenings to watch sunsets and the pool area at the other side of the property is nice and wasn't crowded (we were there in August). The main road of the peninsula is in front of the property and its pool area but it was not noisy or annoying - it's a small road and unavoidable if you're staying on a narrow peninsula!

The location was great on the main road just a 10 minute walk to the centre, castle. We was upgraded to a lake view and so Very pleased with that gesture.
Lovely pool area and we enjoyed a peaceful swim and comfy loungers. We stayed as a couple so it suited us to have peaceful relaxation. staff pleasant. Apartment spacious and clean and smart decor. Recommend to all especially uk visitors looking for ideal spot to stay in Sirmione.

Very pleased when we arrived the reception area looks great, but our room decor does not meet the same standard. We were very surprised by how busy the road outside the apartments is, perhaps my own fault for not researching this well enough. The pool area backs straight onto this road so if you can't relax with heavy traffic noise and fumes this is not for you. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location for restaurants and shops is great.
Pretty surprised to find that the pool is closed for two hours between 1 and 3 and after 7pm, although this was not enforced so perhaps this is bad sign translation not an actual rule.
I would definitely return to the area, lots to do and great restaurants across a range of budgets.

Wonderful place. Alexandra is incredibly accommodating. The hotel doesn't have a nice grass beach like some of the other places nearby, but did have a private dock. And staying with Alexandra was more charm than a beach could have offered. She is more than willing to answer all your questions and help you plan your stay. Highly recommended to stay here!

Honeymoon in Sirmione

We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon. The room was very large, like a small apartment with a separate living/dining area and bedroom. It included a kitchen too. Very nice and clean. It was quiet and not a lot of people here, probably because it was end of the season. The pool was already closed unfortunately and would have liked it to be a little more lively but overall a nice hotel we would stay there again.

We were up grade to an apartment on the 3rd floor it was absolutely fabulous a finished balcony with views of both sides of lake Garda.The apartment was extremely well equipped,we booked an extra night because it was so nice and comfortable. It is situated in the middle of the old town and the new town ,roughly a 20min walk.We thank the owners to do much for making our stay so enjoyable.We hope to return .

Enjoyable stay at hotel Alexandra

We stayed at Residence Alexandra for 4 days in September. The location is fantastic having lake Garda from two sides. Walking distance to the charming old part of Sirmione and far enough to enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday. Our large apartment with very comfortable beds, having several balconies that could easily accommodate 20 people :))) was well equipped to meet our needs. Only mines was a weak Wi-Fi signal, still workable though but the stuff and especially the owner were so helpful and charming people that we would have enjoyed our stay there even if there was no internet at all.
Mrs. Aspirin :)))), owners little lovely dog deserves to be mentioned separately. She made not only my 11 years old daughter happy but spiced up our stay as well with her playfulness and good manners that a lot of parents would envy to. :)))
To cut it short we would recommend Residence Alexandra wholeheartedly to everyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

Stay away! Unfriendly place

The apartments are dated but clean and spacious.
The main problem is the owner. She was rude and unprofessional making feel us unconfortable during all the stay. She feels like the swimming pool is too precious to use and use public areas to hung her clothes!
We travel to Lake Garda every year. And you can trust us that you can find more friendly and modern residences or apartments around.
As a good point I would like to say that the cleaner was a lovely lady.

Although we had a very pleasant stay and it couldn't have been better located the road was very very noisy and after 5 nights I really needed some sleep. The hotel was very boutique style but not luxurious. There were no curtains or shutters on the windows which made sleeping in the fold out bed near impossible with noise and light streaming through the windows

We stayed in Sirmione for a week, the apartments were within a 15-20 min walk of Sirmione Old Town. Which was far enough away from the crowds and close enough to walk to. There are many restaurants within the town, many with excellent food. But if you head towards the new town, there are some excellent restaurants there too.
The apartment itself was lovely and clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Generally the place was very quiet, and we always had a space to park the car. One night we had some noisy neighbours, which we could hear through the walls, but it was only the one night and didn't disturb us too much. We were there in September and the weather was lovely and warm, if a little hazy. Sirmione Old Town gets very busy over the weekend, so being able to walk into the town without having to worry about parking was great.

Comfortable Lake side residence.

We booked Residence Alexandra for a couple of nights at the last minute. We received a warm welcome and all the staff we encountered were very helpful; including driving us and our luggage down to the bus stop on departure. It takes about 20 minutes to stroll into Sirmione, which is very pleasant and from where you can pick up the boats for the rest of the lake side resorts. Our 2 bed apartment at the Residence looked recently renovated and featured at large balcony, accessible from the living area and both bedrooms. From the balcony we had views of the lake running down both sides of the Sirmione peninsular, as well as the pool. The supermarket is a bit of a hike (in the next resort) and we didn't find even a small store in Sirmione itself, so pick up provisions when you get the chance if you don't have a car.

NIce apartments with private dock/swimming

The proprietors and all the staff were absolutely wonderful. The location is perfectly situated between old town and new town Sirmione, which beats Venice any day in my opinion (it's only an hour and a half drive to Venice from here, which we included on our tour. I'd go there once but never again). They own a small dock on the lake with beach chairs and umbrellas that we really enjoyed for lounging and swimming.

We stayed in a family room. It was spacious and had nice balconies. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area is good and clean. Location is good, close to the lake and a walking distance (about 20min) to Sirmione centre. However the room does need a bit of maintenance. The shower in the other bathroom was not working well and the kitchen could have been better equipped. But those were only small complaints and we did have a good time and enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful place in beautiful town

Sirmione is definitely a town worth visiting: old fortress, a lot of nice restaurants, gelato and pizza everywhere even late in the night.

Rossi Ampartmenti Alexandra are conveniently located close to the old town and even closer to some beaches on Lago di Garda. Finding the place may be a little difficult if you are coming in the evening. It is located in a small street with hardly visible name, but when you find it you will forget that you had any problem. Rooms are very clean and spacious, terrace very comfortable and pool very clean and enjoyable.

Appartments were ideally located between Colombare and Sirmione and both within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Hotel was very friendly and appartments very well equipped and spacious. Fridge and freezer definite advantage. Great balcony. Pool area very well maintained and provided both sunny areas but also comfortable shaded area.
Internet access very useful.

Everything we wanted from our holiday. Well done and Thank You.

The place is very clean and comfortable. We lost three light bulbs when we were there, but that happens! The older couple who run the place are friendly and helpful. The private dock was a nice place to enjoy at night. My husband and I took a glass of wine out there and just sat on the end of the dock and enjoyed the quiet sounds of the lake one night. Sirmione is a very pleasant little town as well.
Rossi Appartamenti Alexandra is afforadable and comfortable.

Would definitely go back

My wife and I stayed in these apartments in September 2009. It is a family run establishment and the staff are extremely helpful. The apts are about 20 mins walk from old sirmione town and the only bad thing I would say about sirmione and not the apts was that there were no taxis available at nightime and the buses finished very early. We would definitely visit the rossi apts again. The rooms were kept very clean. The apts also had a swimming pool which looked out onto the lake. When we were leaving, a member of staff even drove us to the bus station.

All was good and the suite was very nice. Not luxury beds (only slight minus here), but good for a few nights. A few parking spots right in front of the building for free.
A lovely tiny \"store\" for guests where you can take things (juice, coffee, snacks etc.) and pay when you check out - very handy when arriving late with nothing.
Do recommend!
For smokers: yes you can smoke on your balcony. Was a bit scared of this with Hotels.com's description of a fully smokefree hotel.

Bra boende, men väldigt trevlig personal. Vi blev väldigt väl mottagna när vi kom, och efter utcheckning var det inga problem att stanna en stund vid poolen och bada.
Fin pool och egen liten strand med brygga ut i sjön.
Lägenheterna var enkla, men med allt man behöver.
En liten ”butik” vid entrén så där man kan köpa dricka etc.
Väldigt trevlig g totalupplevelse, vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Très confortable, propre, air climatisé, arrivée et départ faciles, situé un peu loin de Sirmione à pieds mais ça se marche très bien quand même (30 min environ) et arrêt d’autobus en face. Plusieurs restaurants aux alentours. On a beaucoup aimé notre séjour. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. Ils nous ont aidées en réservant un taxi pour nous amener à la station de trains très tôt le matin.

Stor bo enhet med 2 bad og 3 møblerte balkonger samt 1 soverom. Masse garderobeplass. Kjøkken med det mest nødvendigste. Rommet har nok i sin tid vært veldig luksuriøst men er nå klar for oppussing. Bassenget var flott, personalet meget hyggelig og behjelpelig. Beliggenheten er upåklagelig omringet av Gardasjøen på begge sider. Kort vei til det meste
Skulle gjerne hatt en balkong med morgen sol.

Unser Zummer war oberflächlich sauber und gut ausgestattet.
Leider gab es in unserem Zimmer ein Ameisenproblem.

We can definitely recommend to stay at Alexandras place.
The service from front desk, by the pool, cleaning and from Alexandra was valuable and great. The apartment had everything we needed, and the hotel is placed perfectly near the lake, where there is private access for guest. You will be in walking distance the old part of Sirmione, where there's nice restaurants.

Nice place.
Not very service oriented staff though.
The pool guy was not happy or helpful, and my daughter was not allowed to use swimming fins in the pool, and also not even to jump in the pool. Why? - we were the only ones in the pool!
The lake bridge is not very pleasing, and very shallow water. Basically useless.
Air condition didn't work at all.

Ondanks dat het een relatief oud gebouw is, heeft het niets verloren van haar pracht en praal. Staar je niet blind op de gedateerde kamers die prima functioneren overigens. Ontzettend ontspannen, fijn en huiselijke sfeer in de accomodatie. De eigenares is altijd in de buurt en is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Als je op zoek bent naar een ontspannen plek dan is dit het adres. Niet ver van het centrum, groot zwembad, eigen parkeerplekken, zeer ruime kamers en ook een eigen pier om het meer in te gaan.

Großartige Umgebung mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Kinder und Erwachsene, schöner Pool, nette Gastgeber. Das Zimmer 314 ist ok eingerichtet, ruhig auf der Rückseite gelegen, mit Klimaanlage, großen Balkons, allerdings könnte es eine Renovierung vertragen... z.B. die beschädigten Fliesen, Die Küche ist eher spärlich ausgestattet, da haben wir in Ferienwohnungen schon wesentlich bessere gesehen. Das Elternbett ist für unseren Begriff sehr hart und wir haben da schlecht geschlafen,,, aber wer es mag...das Kinderbett ist ein Ausziehbett... weicher.. ok für kleinere Kids. Zu den Kosten kommen noch 25€ für die Küchenreinigung dazu, Tiefgarage 10€ pro Nacht/Tag..wenn man keinen Platz vor dem Haus bekommt und dann noch \"local taxes\"... Insgesamt (speziell im Vergleich mit schon zuvor gemieteten Ferienwohnungen und Häusern) war uns das hier \"gebotene\" zu teuer. Trotzdem war es eine schöne Zeit :).

Kostet Freundlichkeit extra?

Wir hatten eine neue Wohnung, die war in Ordnung und die Terrasse war sehr schön.
Meine Tochter hatte eine der Wohnungen im Untergeschoss, diese sind zwar geräumig aber sehr abgewohnt und gehören dringend erneuert. Wenn man nur über die Fliesen lackiert, ist es nicht erneuert....
Die Ausstattung ist in der Küche sehr dürftig, zur Zubereitung für das Frühstück reicht es, sonst ist viel zu wenig Geschirr vorhanden.
Die Vermieterin und auch ihr Mann waren äußerst unfreundlich, grüßen war für beide ein Fremdwort....ich war noch nie in einem Haus, mit so arroganten Chefleuten. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr freundlich, ebenso die Putzfrauen.
Der Swimmingpool ist sehr schön, Kinder sind allerdings unerwünscht, obwohl ein Dreijähriger den vollen Preis bezahlte und der Einjährige 10.-/Tag zuzahlen musste. Es ist weder ein Kinderstuhl vorhanden noch ein Kinderbett...

Personal accogliente, molto disponibile, ambiente pulito e confortevole, piscina molto bella e attrezzata, l'unica cosa da segnalare: i materassi molto bassi dei divani letti anche se il personale ci ha fornito un materasso aggiuntivo.

dalle foto era un semplice piccolo albergo del lago di Garda ma dal vivo avevo una stanza immensa! Bella, pulita, curata e molto profumata..perfetta anche per famiglia con bimbi..l'unico difetto, se così possiamo chiamarlo è il fatto che non ti fanno le bici a noleggio..

Nous sommes venu visitez en famille Avec 2 enfants de 7 et 9 ans , sirmione est magnifique et la résidence est très bien situee Avec une splendide vue , jolie piscine , l accueil est très basic , polie mais pas autant chaleureux que les autre client ont indiquer
La chambre est spacieuse avec une jolie terrasse mais nous avons dormis sur un lit dur comme du béton !
La couverture étais remplie de poussière donc nous avons préférée dormir sans couverture
Voila ca a fais du bien de voyager à florence dans un hôtel 4 étoile avec un lit confortable

Otroligt ogästvänligt.
Vi anlände till hotellet ca 19.45 på incheckningsdagen. På vår bokning och på hotels.com framgår att receptionen är öppen till 21.00 och att det inte går att checka in efter att receptionen är stängd.
Receptionen är stängd och det finns ingen att kontakta. Tillslut dyker det upp en dam som helt enkelt ber oss lämna hotellet då receptionen är stängd och att vi inte har någon bokning. Otroligt snopet för oss, två vuxna och två barn. Vi hade utskrift på bokning i handen och i efterhand har jag även kollat min bokning på datorn, inga konstigheter.
Det som jag reagerade mest på var damens totala ointresse av att hjälpa oss. Visst, det kan ske dubbel bokningar och missförstånd men att bara nonchalant fösa iväg oss var nästintill kränkande. Ett \"normalt\" hotell hade försökt lösa situationen eller tipsa oss om andra boendealternativ. Det var den sämsta service jag någonsin upplevt och då har vi rest mycket i Europa och USA.
Hotellet, rummen och poolen är säkert fina...

Sauberkeit in Dusche lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Dusche nicht einladend und dreckig, Sofa war ruiniert, fleckig man konnte es kaum anschauen, Badezimmertürgriff war verklebt... Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem Hotel auf eine Nacht reduziert, damit wir nicht in dem Zimmer bleiben müssen. Chefin hatte eher aggressiv und arrogant reagiert auf unsere Reklamation. Leider sehr unbefriedigend.

Zum Glück hatte ich es nach 20 km bemerkt.
Hätte jemand mitgedacht, hätte er gleich meine Visitinkarte gefunden und mich angerufen.
Ansatz wurde mein Rucksack einfach weggestellt.
Das geht garnicht und deshalb kann ich das Hotel niemanden empfehlen

We had a great couple of days at the hotel, the hotel owner Alexandra was amazing; very helpful and kind. She even drove us to the Ferry after we checket out! We absolutley recommend this place, its about 20 minutes walking to the old fortress and its also possible to take the bus for 1€. Clean and nice hotel with pool just outside the pool right in front of the lake. Go there!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit Pool und privatem Strand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werde beim nächsten Urlaub am Gardasee definitiv dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

Olimme sesongin ensimmäiset asiakkaat. Osalla henkilökunnasta hyvä englanninkielen taito ja lopuilla runsaasti palvelualttiutta. kaikki asiat hoituivat heti. Seudulla ei ole uimarantoja, mutta hotellilla iso uima-allas. Alakerrassa pieni itsepalvelukahvio missä hyvä kahvikone. Huoneen keittonurkkauksessa kaksilevyinen sähköinen keittotaso. Astioita ja keittiövälineitä hotellin olisi syytä uusia (nyt oli mm. MUOVISET viinipikarit). Olimme tosin kauden ensimmäiset asiakkaat, joten ehkä tilanne on jo korjattu.
Hotelli sopi meidän tarkoitukseemme erinomaisesti. Sijainti on mitä mainioin liikkumiseen eri puolille pohjois-italiaa. Maisemia lienee turha erikseen kehua. Upeaa on! Ei bilettäjille. Me kulttuurin ja luonnon ystävät kyllä viihdyimme.
