Lovely location and great pool, we had such a good time! Wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived but everything looked really nice and worked well after we gave it a once over. The staff were all extremely helpful and accommodating and all the amenities were in perfect condition!

Booked an apartment for a weekend stay. Arrived to find only a sofa bed with an extremely thin mattress. We had to pull out and fully make the bed ourselves when arriving. Shower was not wall mounted to use, we had to hold the shower to wash. For check out we had to strip and put the sofa bed back and take all our linen and towels through the hotel to reception. We were expected to take the bins out and fully clean the apartment. Not overly pleased with our stay

Clean and comfortable apartment

A very basic but clean & air-conditioned apartment right in the heart of Cagnes-sur-Mer, close to shops, restaurants, and bus stations.
Beautiful beachs on Cagnes-sur-Mer.
Our flat was on the first floor, an elevator and parking is available.
It has a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, stove, sink, plates, and cutlery.
A clean but small swimming pool and paid washing machine is available for resident's use.

Towels and bedding provided (self-service for bed making)
Clear arrival instructions were provided by the reception via email, as the reception is closed on Sunday afternoons

Overall we had a good stay time and enjoyed our stay in this apartment

Absolutely disgusting disgrace of a place

Don’t go anywhere near this hotel! It was absolutely disgusting! Put us on ground floor - no windows / smelled so badly of smoke/ just overall disgusting! Car park was flooded you needed to make your own beds! Hot tub don’t even go there! Hadn’t even been cleaned or switched on! Just appalling and we had a new baby with us!!!
We handed back the keys and found somewhere else!

A tired apartment not good for the retired.

We booked this accommodation as we needed a lift due to age, disability etc . When we got there no lift working for 6 of the 7 days, and we were on the 3rd floor. I have to say the ladies in reception were great and carried up and down our bags. But not satisfactory, they wouldn’t give us a refund so we could find somewhere else. The condition of the unit is tired and quite dirty. Nothing left to help us out like toilet paper, dishwashing powder, laundry detergent etc. when we left the place was cleaner than when we arrived!

The up side was that it is in a great location with easy access ( once you get down the stairs) by bus to Vence, St Paul de Vence, Renoir's museum, the medieval castle and town, Grasse, Nice, the beach and the factory out let.

In general, an excellent experience with particular credit to the reception staff who were outstanding.
Any criticism of anything about the experience would be so minor as to be not worth mentioning (nothing is perfect!) but in all it was definitely 9.9 out of 10. Very very good experience In excellent provision and accommodation.

The property is very DIY, you have to make your own beds on arrival and then strip and carry the dirty linen through the hotel to reception, the shower is held on the wall at waist height which means holding the shower in one hand. The room itself looks as if it’s not had maintenance done in the last 10 years. I will not be staying here again.

Very outdated hotel. Internet never worked. In last minute the staff sent me an email to tell me their check in time is up to 7pm. Somehow they expect me to read that email at 6pm and respond within 1 hour. The check-in instruction is entirely in French on a paper. Took me a while to translate and figure out where to park . The room is terrible. AC nearly not working. Wifi is completely not working. Expect us to make our own bedding.

Worth mentioning the checkout is smooth. Just dropped off the key.

Amazing place to stay especially if you’re planning long stay. Apartments are big enough and having everything you need for a long stay. On site garage where you can park your car which is also great! Room was having weird fishy smell but overall experience was great! Definitely recommend!

Roomy studio with large patio, double bed that folds from couch. Full kitchen and full bath. Nice area near the center of Cagnes-sur-Mer, lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery store and fat food all just a few minutes walk. 12-15 minutes walk to the Cagnes-sur-Mer Sncf train station with easy rides to Nice, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Antibes or Grasse.
La Crystal is both rental units and residents, the building is in good shape and secure. It's not a hotel so I'd suggest for longer stays, at least a few days. Overall very pleasant, would return.

Good choice for a couple nights

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a long summer break. We chose the hotel because it had a pool and was near the airport so we could have an easy journey on our last day.
All in all the experience was pretty good. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was very good. Everything in the rooms is basic but easily manageable. Bit of a queue at check-in when we arrived on the Saturday as it didn’t open until 1700hrs but no real problem.
Would stay again.

Modern basic apartment in the middle of Town.

The apartment is just “ok”. Nothing special and very basic, no even a real shower. It’s right in the middle of Cagnes sur Mer, which on the one hand is good; handy for the shops and Boulangerie. It is a 20+ minute walk to the beach, however, which was not great. There is a underground car park, which is useful if you rent a car, as there is nowhere else to park.

The hotel has nice swimming pool on the roof, good location to everything, located in Cagnes sur Mere, beach is located within walkable distance ( 3/4 mile )

Away from Turiristic traps, settled in nice small town, good location as Base stay Appartment hotel type fully equipted kitchenette, modern design - family friendly, the hotel Staff is welcoming, speaks well English
We stayed there for 5 nights as part of our trip to French Riviera
car rental is strongly recommended and the hotel have a parking garage underneath the building free of charge, note: Internet svc - extra charge of 15 EU$ for 1 week rental as well towels and linens $ 15 EU$ per person, plus cleaning fee of 50 EU$ paid on the arrival above booking price, but we had good time there and the booking ( Appartment rental is very reasonable ) , so with that said We Thanks to the Le Crystal for pleasant stay and We highly recommend this Appartment hotel for your future stay if traveled through the French Riviera region

The hotel was great. Be careful when showering, water will get everywhere and it will be slippery. There is no toaster in the room, but one can manage by using the stovetop. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay after our swim in the Mediterranean.

Value hotel you get what uou pay for.

Very rarely anyone at reception desk staff not very informative. Room is fine dirty plates in cubbard. Very little provided to clean apt before leaving. Not a fun holiday experience to have to clean an apt from head to toe. No support available at desk or wifi so id advise some plans be made ahead of time or to have i ternet on ur phone erc in order to find trains etc. The luggage storage room doesnt appear very safe. Our room looked onto a car park so you prob wont want to spend much time in the room. Sheets and towels + local tax??? Added on when we got there was aroun €20 each for 5 of us so factor that in. Fine for a cheap break.

Three weeks in southern France was wonderful

I spent much time walking through the community. Next time I will probably bring a tennis partner. The clay courts are indeed a luxury for me, however I was only able to get one hour of court time. I visited Renoir,s home/museum I spent much time in the town square, in my favorite patisserie, and in the neighborhoods.

Hotel location is good very near airport,and local amenities shops and buses when they are running.
But my complaint is the staff at reception are not friendly when they are there,can only check in between 4pm and 6 pm this is not good service.
Reception at Le Crystal is like ghost town. No bed linen and towels in your room.

This self-contained apartment hotel is in a good location near shops and public transport, but unfortunately the staff are somewhat unfriendly and unhelpful. After organising a late check-in on a Tuesday evening, and reception closed on a Wednesday, we were left with inadequate information about the facilities of the hotel (e.g. pool) and key codes to access them. When I raised this with reception staff on the Thursday, and made the point that it would have been very easy to leave some additional notes that would have meant all facilities would be usable by my family, I was told it was my problem and I should have checked in during normal hours.

got a good sized apartment. This is not a hotel its an apartment residence so you will need your own towels, bed linen and toilet rolls. It has a good few mod cons like dishwasher, microwave and electric hob, a veranda, swimming pool and secure basement parking (free of charge). Its location for Monaco grand prix is great and lets you get to the Cannes film festival easily too. Nice place for the money.

This is an appartment block not a hotel.

Excellent appatment block situated in the middle of the town of cagnes Sur Mer. We had an appartment for six between two which was very spacious. Excellent and clean facilities. Free underground parking is provided. The appartment block is only staffed for two hours each day( 4-6PM ) which made checkin a bit of a pain. However, the single staff member was very helful and spoke very good English. Please be aware that if you require linen and towels you will be charged for them. There is also a small local tax taken. There is a small pool on the roof terace.

As this is a service apartment, facilities are basic but excellent. Do take note that guests have to bring their own bed sheets and toilet rolls as well as clean up before checking out. Fees will be charged for additional requests. The place is located in a neighbourhood that is near several good restaurants recommended by tripadvisor such as Le Perousin which has fantastic food that is matched by its excellent services. The only downside is the limited access to wifi. Wifi access has to be renewed every 30 minutes and can only be obtained when the reception is opened. Also, wifi is limited to only one device at one time.

Watch out for extra fees!

The hotel itself is in a nice area and its rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are not very comfortable, but not horrible. Short drive or about an 45-60 min bus ride to Nice. Be aware that this hotel charges for EVERYTHING you may need on top of the room price. You will pay extra for sheets, pillows, towels, even a garbage bag and toilet paper. Either bring these with you or be prepare for hidden costs. They also charge a mandatory 50 euro cleaning fee if you stay more than 2 nights.

Be careful of extra charge for towels, sheets ...

The extra charge for sheets and towels are applied and it cost 16 Euros/per person. Further, the guest have to clean everything in the room before checking out, otherwise 45 Euros will be charged just for the cleaning after the guest leave. The staff explained to me that this is not a hotel but an apartment. However, I have never stayed such a hotel doing a tricky business like this before in Europe.

We had a great time here,A week of Coldplay,Cannes film festival and the Monaco grand Prix, the staff were very helpful and polite,supermarkets close by and fantastic walks every night up to Grimaldi for a meal, beautiful,On the roof of the apartments you can enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains,Grimaldi and even Renoir's house.The only problem with this good review is that everyone will book it up and I won't find a room next time!

This is an apartment rather than a hotel. The number of rooms quoted include a living room with 2 single sofa beds. Please be aware that there is a mandartory "Final Cleaning" charge (45 euros to 55 Euros) "always payable in case of departure outside the opening hours", which is very limited in the morning. This charge is however not listed on the Expedia website at the time of booking

Just returned from a week at Le Crystal Apartments and will certainly stay there again.

LOCATION
Just off the centre of the charming town of Cagnes Sur Mer in a quiet location a few hundred metres from the shops including a large supermarket. About 20 minute walk to the sea front. Easy access to the A8 motorway and apartments have secure underground car park so perfect for own or hire car. Very easy to drive down to the sea front and then about equal distance into Nice ( past the airport ) and Antibes in the other direction

APARTMENT
This is a very recently built apartment block so is very modern, two large balconies on our 1 bedroom unit. Decent kitchen, bathroom etc and all spotlessly clean and modern. Free WiFi access but limited to the comfortable atrium area by reception.

Apartment block has a super roof garden with swimming pool and deck area to relax, a real sun trap.

Didn't see any kids during my stay but maybe it is busier in peak season. Remember this is NOT a hotel but a self catering apartment, the charming lady at reception is only there for a few hours a day so visitors need to organise themselves once checked in, but everything was very easy being in such a good location close to the shops.

Totally recommend this place, I will certainly be staying again on my next visit after the summer as it's a great base to explore the area in each direction

Pas d'eau chaude à 18h45 que nous signalons a l'accueil avant la fermeture. Un technicien devait passer or à 21h nous relançons sur le mobile en appellant 2 fois ( aucun rappel de leur part ) car nous n'avons toujours pas d'eau chaude et nous aimerions laver nos enfants et les coucher ...le technicien est arrivé 30 min plus tard car il était en repos ce jour là , rien à dire sur lui mais manque de personnel pourquoi n'y a t il pas un second technicien ? Puis clim qui ne fonctionnait pas nous avons passé une mauvaise nuit ....un séjour d'une nuit horrible pour nous !

Que dire , j'ai eu peur de retrouvé le Doc et Mac Fly dans la salle de bain, tout est vraiment daté , tout est vieillot et en fin de vie , quasiment tout a revoir , le seul point positif
personnel au top , très sympa et réactif.
Je n'y ai passé qu’une nuit en famille et c’était largement suffisant .

La propreté laisse à désirer , l’hôtel est mal entretenu .
L’odeur qui régnait dans le logement était insupportable et la piscine était sale.
Le point positif est l’emplacement et la sympathie du personnel .

Bra størrelse på leiligheten, rene rom, 2 soverom, oppholdsrom, balkong, lite trafikk utenfor, nærme butikker og restauranter.
Meget hyggelig han som var i resepsjonen, vi fikk rommet i 12.00 tiden istedenfor etter kl. 17.00. Han gav også god informasjon hvilke buss/trikk/tog vi kunne benytte, og ringte og ordnet med leiebil.
Anbefaler opphold på dette leilighetshotellet👍🙂

Selve hotellet er supert. Bra beliggenhet. Men uklare regler i forhold til utvasking, sengetøy skal bæres ned. Resepsjonister kunne ingjenting om buss/tog ruter eller stoppested og ga feilaktige anbefalinger istedenfor å si at de vet ikke. Klønete med reduserte åpningstider i resepsjonen.

Horrível!! Fuja!!! Sem medidas de higiene COVID

No dia do Check in, tentei entrar em contato pq chegaríamos depois das 19hs, horário máximo para Check in, ficamos por 3 horas ligando para os números que eles disponibilizam é que tb está disponível em hoteis.com, todas as tentativas sem sucesso. Conseguimos um número num site, e depois de umas 20 ligações uma pessoa de uma central atendeu e muito gentilmente entrou em contato direto com eles e conseguiu nos informar a senha de acesso e lugar onde ficaria a chave. Então depois de 3 horas de stress isso foi resolvido.
Quando chegamos no apto ficamos chocado com o mal estado, sujo, apto velho e mal cuidado, com cheiro muito ruim. Um desânimo de ficar naquele lugar. Mas para piorar qdo fui fazer o Check out, falaram que tinha q entregar o apto limpo, e que não tínhamos passado pano na mesa e nem tirado os lençóis e toalhas (já tínhamos lavado a louça e tirado os lixos pq sempre fizemos isso), tive que voltar, passar pano na mesa, tirar lençóis e toalhas e sair com tudo isso nos braços, descer para o térreo, e colocar num lugar. Dessa forma ficou claro que eles não tem medida nenhuma de limpeza contra COVID, como prometem aqui. Se o hóspede precisa limpar e não tem álcool para fazer a limpeza, como que isso pode ser seguro? Fora que os lençóis eram manchados, um nojo!

Petit bémol dommage que l'accès à la piscine soit fermée à 19h.
Etant en vacance avec ma petite famille nous aurions aimé pouvoir en profiter au moins jusqu'à 21h00. Mais sinon notre séjour c'est très bien passée.
