I was attending an event at the IceParc so the location is great. The room is small but adequate and comfortable, and the kitchenette is very nice. The supermarket next day is convenient.
I rated cleanliness lower because some kitchen utensils were not clean; I had to wash cutlery before using.

Simple apartment hotel

This is an apartment hotel with a little kitchenette. I stayed for 5 night and there was no housekeeping service which was fine for me. I asked for fresh towels and I had everything I needed. Very close to Ice skating arena I was going everyday and a supermarket is right next door. Convenient location for my trip.

Room was good and air conditioned. Unfortunately the corridors between reception and room were very hot and stuffy. Was able to prebook carpark space - it is in secure parking below the building but you'll need to check in first to get the code. Reasonably close to city centre (10 mins walk).

NICE STAY

The location of the hotel was very good for our visit to the Ice Arena Angers for the Continental Cup tournament. There is a supermarket next door to the hotel, which we found very convenient. We stayed in a studio which was very comfortable and clean. The only problem we encountered was the radiator in the bedroom was not working and we were given a small electric heater, which was adequate to warm up the room. We would have liked a toaster instead of trying to make toast in the combination microwave/grill. There was a good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

\"Disappointing\" is an understatement.

I stayed in this hotel for 12 days (less actually as I moved out early even though prepaid). Several other individuals at the same conference moved early to other hotels.
One cleaning of the room over the entire period - bad enough being there in a heatwave but my mid-stay cleaning meant that my towel number was reduced to one rather than two by the cleaners, and not even a replacement of my communion wafer size soap bar (supermarket next door thankfully).
No mention of limited room service on the website, so be warned.
No air-conditioning but found out that one could ask for a fan.
As I mentioned, several other people at the the same conference checked out early - quote of one - \"I can endure no fan but not the mold in the shower!!!\".
Staff overall friendly and helpful, although the seemingly sole male doesn't know how to smile and appear unaware that he is in the service industry! A smile goes a long way sir!!!
On the plus side, the apartments are pleasant (mold excepted) and the location good.
But do yourself a favor and stay in superior accommodation at similar prices.
Never a repeat from this customer.

Short break in Angers

The apartments are an easy walk from the city centre and all of it's amenities. The apartments are clean and comfortable, and the reception staff very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Decent and value for money.

Convenient location and easy access to food and transportation. Rooms are spacious but bathroom a little tiny.
Non-airconditioned but a fan was provided for. Overall a decent apart-hotel as a base to explore the region. Family of 03.

Clean, well equipped and great location

Great apartment in a great location within easy walking distance of everything to do in Angers. I was on the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable and was very noisy so unfortunately not the best nights sleep whilst there, but my friend in the double bed really enjoyed it, so overall very pleasant. Marked down due to that and marks and stains all over carpet throughout. Would have been nice to have coffee/tea available to use in the kitchen but is next to a supermarket so we bought our own.

Spacious accommodation ideal location

This property was ideal for our overnight stop. The receptionist was very friendly and helpfull. Our accommodation was more than adequate with two rooms having two beds one a sofa bed one room also had a small kitchen with fridge and microwave. There is also a laundry room by reception. Breakfast in the morning was very good for 8.5euro. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

two nights in Angers Apart City Hotel

Brilliant stay over with my family for two nights. Very clean, spacious apartment with good sized bathroom. Felt like having a whole flat to ourselves. Is in a good location right next to a supermarket. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. My only small criticism was the size of the breakfast plates at breakfast - they were like saucers. I would prefer to pay a little extra money but have a decent sized plate - so we all did not feel the need to go up and down to the buffet table. Also would be good to have a greater quantity of hot food if it is going to be on offer in the first instance.I did not wake up my 3 year old on the second morning, as it did not seem worth taking him downstairs for a tiny breakfast- just bought some cereal. Also the parking information could have been made clear to us on the first evenging as it was not made clear to us that there was parking onsite when we first asked and we ended up paying for street parking on the first night, when there is in fact a small amount of parking on the facility, which we used the second day. Overall a brilliant stay and would recommend and visit again.

We had problems paying with our American credit cards. We tried 4 different cards and none of them would work. We had had no previous problems using them in France. Luckily we had the cash to pay for our two night stay.

Room for 5 of us to move, which is important as we have 3 teenagers. Our stay was brief but the room was very clean and well set out. I would stay again. The staff were welcoming and friendly even though it was an extremely busy day for them finish for the Tour de France.

Clean and functional but not exactly welcoming

Spent one night here while cycling the Loire a velo. Somewhat spartan and lacking any character whatsoever, it was still a comfortable and functional place to stay. Excellent location, close to restos and a Carrefore City. We arrived early and they would not allow us us to check in until 3 even thoughthe place was probablt available. Reception is also closed for a 2 hours while the staff have lunch.

Disappointing return.

Second time here and the accommodation has deteriorated since we were there a year ago.Our room was supposed to be non smoking but stank of cigarettes and the buts had been thrown outside on to the roof of the garage. We had only one set of towels and 1 pillow each. The receptionist was on her own trying to cope with an influx of guests and a card machine that wasn't working properly. We had stayed here a year previously and had returned because we had been impressed with the quality. We will try somewhere else next time.

A fairly noisy Sunday night/Monday morning from drinkers on the street but otherwise pretty handy to eateries and sights. The appartment/s looked a bit tired and we're lacking much of the china and cutlery listed on the cupboards.

There was a lot of noise from the street and partying on Saturday night but you had to have the windows open as there was no air conditioning. It was a great location though.

The shower door does not seal properly so leaked puddles of water across the room.

Great that it had a laundry.

Reservation staff was friendly and helpful.

Never again!

Reception closes at 5 pm on Saturday! Hard getting settled...parking full, so on the street with meters. Smokers outside our windows and NO a.c.! Reception woman rude! Door entry complicated. No extra toilet paper....just 1 roll for 3 people....bring your own! Couch bed awful. No housekeeping on Sunday! Fridge in kitchen loud. Shower hand held and broken so water leaks. Expensive!!!!

Just like an apartment, it has separate bedroom, small kitchenette with the basics, sitting area that can be transformed into a sleeping area. Very close to a bus stop and tram. Approx. 20-25 minute walk to town center. Stayed twice for college visits.

Check in was hard if you don't speak French!

Given a letter by expedia to say check in closed at midnight on the Saturday. Unfortunately this was not the case! You have to call a number on the wall and hope someone speaks English. Then once you get into the building there's a safe on the wall which has an envelope with your name on. Then we had to make another call to get our room number. Expedia should get their times correct and save a lot of confusion as we could have emailed prior to our arrival to find out how to get in, rather than spending wasted money on phone calls!!

This was our 2nd stay in 8 weeks. The apartments only opened in August 2013 and are not massive but are good value for money. Fridge 2 electric rings microwave and a coffee maker are in the kitchen (no kettle) but enough dishes to make basic meals. The apartments are in a good central location convenient for the city centre and restaurants/bars and the university. There is a supermarket 3 minutes walk from the Apartcity. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer available on payment for tokens from reception and use of an iron and ironing board.

Appart'City Angers: not quite a Hotel

Appart'City Hotel Angers doesn't advertise more: these are flats, not hotel rooms. As such, the studio has an assortment of cutlery, dishes… In short, everything needed for cooking. This is fortunate, as the breakfast costs 9 €. Location wise, it is near the beautiful center of Angers. A nice stay. But if you are looking for an hotel, look somewhere else.

Séjour d’une semaine agréable. Calme, bien situé, literie confortable, rangements suffisants, agencement optimisé. L’avantage de l’hôtel : linge à disposition et ménage 1 fois dans la semaine. L’avantage de l’appartement : la kitchenette.
Le petit plus : une petite gourmandise et un sirop à disposition à l’accueil chaque jour
Le petit moins : les capsules de café et mégots jetés des étages supérieurs sur l’espace vert devant ma fenêtre. Le rebord métallique sur lequel les gouttes d’eau raisonnent lorsqu’il pleut.
