Room was tired, blow dryer burned my hands, mattress was maybe 3” thick, key failed to work every time I left and came back, shower water bounced from scalding to cold back and forth.

IBIS CENTRE ANGERS

Ibis is well situated for the centre of Angers but lacks easy loading/unloading now .Paid
parking is about 200 metres away but is often full .
Rooms are small but comfortable; linen provided is just about acceptable unless you are a large person !

The hotel is fine for a couple nights stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfy, but it was small and lacked hand towels and some other necessities. I would stay again for the cheap price and location in Angers. It is right by the highway and near the center of town so everything you need is around. Parking is in the public parking garage right near the hotel.

A pleasant stay. Great food, convenient parking

The hotel room was adequate, plenty of space & clean. Ideal for a 3 night stop over. They are rebuilding the roads in that area so the arrival on the first night was not easy & first thoughts was one night is enough but actually the second night was really easy as you go directly to the public car park which is 50 M from the hotel,only €2 & really easy to access.
The restaurant is great, the food is excellent, the waiter was very helpful if you’re anEnglishman!! Will visit again!!

We stayed here for one night will on a road trip through this part of France. It was super convenient (walkable) to everything in town and a short drive to the historic sites in the surrounding area. Parking was right out front and we didn't have to pay and check in was easy - just had to go to the adjacent bar. The room was small but clean and comfortable with a nice shower and wifi and we would recommend it for anyone staying in town.

This is the only hotel I have stayed in where they think 27'c is to cold to turn on the air con
The stairwell was so badly maintained that the safety grip strips were all lifting up and my son got his foot caught and luckily fell up the stairs and not down

A pleasant functional hotel

This is a modern hotel, part of a French hotel chain. It is clean and functional. Everything worked fine. I had a room facing an interior garden (not part of the hotel)so my room was quiet. The mattress on the bed was alright but fairly thin so that it seemed rather firm -- some might like it that way. The room which was for 2 (two twin beds) was fine for one, but would have been small for two friends travelling together. The bathroom (shower only) was very clean, as was the room. The full breakfast costs 16 Euros, but it was copious. Finally, the staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a street next to the park which borders the river Maine and, although it is a climb from there up the hill to the cathedral and to the magnificent fortress of Angers, it is a short climb and the hotel is well located for tourism or for business in the center city of Angers. Recommended for adequate and functional accomadation at a reasonable price. Those seeking luxury should look elsewhere.

Good location but very basic room

The location of this hotel is great, an easy walk to the centre of town, restaurants and bars. The room felt a bit like a college dormitory with cheap wood setting and floors. Very basic amenities and only shower towels provided, no hand towels or face clothes which would have been nice. Not bad for a short stop over if you want to be close to town.

They welcomed us very late night and the hotel was clean. The location was good, but was very loud even after midnight. The hotel didn't have any amenities, it was kind of embarrassing. Overall, not that bad choice staying one night.

La literie n'était pas de bonne qualité. La chambre était petite. Le personnel courtois et de bon conseil. Nous avons passé une très mauvaise nuit... il n y a pas de matelas!!!! Juste un surmatelas de 5cm environ sur le sommier. C est la première fois que nous voyons cela dans un hôtel, même un hôtel de 1ere catégorie est plus confortable. Quand au petit déjeuner qui est servi jusqu'à 10h n y allez pas a 9h 30 il y a déjà moins de choix

Perfekte Lage im Zentrum, jedoch somit keine eigenen Parkplätze, womit viel Glück beansprucht werden muss, um einen zu finden.
Ansonsten sauberes Zimmer, etwas klein aber okay. Etwas lärmig während der Nacht.

Le pire Ibis qu'on ait connu

Restauration repas du soir.
Malgré une faible fréquentation, le service n'était pas à la hauteur.(pas de proposition de carte des vins, de desserts etc.)
Le vin servi au verre était du vinaigre, et a nécessité un changement de la bouteille. Comment est-ce possible ?
Au moment de fermer le store de la chambre n°500 celui-ci ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons dû demander un changement de chambre et avons été déplacés à la 323 à 21h !
Au moment de se coucher nous avons constaté que le lit est composé d'un sommier tapissier et d'un surmatelas enveloppé dans une housse plastifiée, le tout très inconfortable.
De ce fait j'ai passé la nuit à me deplacer dans le lit pour laisser sécher l'endroit où j'avais transpirer du fait de la structure plastifiée du marelas.
Au moment de payer on m'a demandé le prix de la chambre, des petis dejeuners, et de la taxe de séjour alors que ceux-ci avaient été déjà payés !!!! Comment est-ce possible à notre époque avec tous les moyens informatiques à votre disposition ???
J'ai donc payé les deux repas avec les boissons. J'aurais apprécié un geste commercial au regard des déboires de ce séjour.
En tant qu'habitués des hotels Ibis vous comprendrez que nous ne souhaitons plus vivre une telle situation.

Hôtel un peu vieillissant c'est dommage !

Un hôtel un peu vieillissant. l'accueil est moderne et sympa mais le reste de l'hôtel est resté dans les années 2000.
C'est dommage pourtant, l'équipe d'accueil était vraiment au top pour les explications et les recommandations. L'emplacement est top, à deux pas du centre d'Angers.

Sans rénovation des chambres je ne pense pas y retourner. c'est bien dommage.

Le petit déjeuner est bien et assez copieux. La salle est très agréable. L'hôtel est très bien situé, en plein centre ville. Un parking indépendant est situé à proximité.

Chambre de taille normale mais qui sentait le renfermé. La télé m’a semblé extrêmement petite - j’avais l’impression qu’elles étaient un peu plus grandes dans les autres chambres dans lesquelles nous avions déjà séjournées. Nous ne venions pas pour regarder la télé donc cela ne nous a pas dérangé!
Bizarre qu’on ne demande pas aux clients de porter le masque dans les parties communes. A l’accueil, il y a une vitre plexiglass. La personne qui accueille porte un masque mais le retire quand elle parle. Ça ne sert donc à rien.
