The pool and laundry room under construction and no previous notice. Breakfast ok 4 out of 10. Staff was really good
David
My family of four stayed here on a very busy weekend of travelling from Connecticut to Boston to New York and back to Connecticut. The hotel is located with very easy access to the Mass Pike (I-90). Sherry at the front desk was a delightful! She was very welcoming and went out of her way to assist me with some issues I was having with my Hilton Honors account. The beds in our two queen room were extremely comfortable. I would go so far as to say that they were more comfortable than many hotels that I have stayed in which have cost twice the price. We didn't have time to use it, but the pool was out of service at the time of our stay. The free breakfast was not \"gourmet\", but everyone in the family found something good to eat and was satisfied.

The hotel itself was nice but they need to use a different cleaner on the floors in the room. My son slipped and fell, thank god he didn’t get hurt but someone could. Also the breakfast was terrible and the woman running it wasn’t very friendly
Frank
Pool and laundry were both unavailable. Breakfast was good.
Derek

Convenient location.

The blinds did not work in our room and there were stains on the lamp. We also had a weight for coffee because there was none left. Poor quality coffee. For the amount of money we paid the hotel did not match. Pool out of order as well
Roger
Very nice modern room. Friendly check in and breakfast staff. Thank you!

We had a good experience staying for 2 days during kids soccer tournament at MA. Kids were little disappointed as the pool was closed for renovation.

The Hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. The pool was not available
Richard
The blue covering around the mattress was dirty. Otherwise the room appeared to be clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs.
Kristi
Pool was broken/closed, breakfast was horrible: bagels were frozen,no coffee for over 20 minutes, bananas were spotted, milk was warm, was busy staff not keeping up on supply of eggs and sausage. The shower had very slippery surface but did like the drainage system in shower.
Gary
We had a short stay, however, the front desk clerk was extremely helpful in getting us setup. I made a mistake with the reservation and she made sure all was well.
The entrance road way(like a bridge) make you feel exclusive also next to the lake.

We wanted a quick get away..We chose this hotel for the pool, rate, and breakfast a mini 1 night vacation because we have a newborn and wanted a night away..breakfast lady was nice but stuff was cold at 6:30 ...and all 3 of us had stomach issues after eating..and to top off NO POOL...$100 kept for incidentals still not back on our card...no soap at sink..and we had diapers to change...the little things matter..prob. wont stay again..disappointed.

I was physically bullied out of this hotel by the housekeeping manager, and the assistant manager. I was in the process of fleeing a volatile domestic violence situation, I was unprepared for being told that I could not renew my reservation (as I had had no issues nor had anyone complained or spoken to me about any violation of hotel policies, etc) , I was never provided a reason I could not renew, and I was late checking out as I had plans to stay another week and anticipated no issues. These two women intimidated me and harass me to the point where I believe to contact the police to have them escort me out of the hotel because I didn’t want any problems. Also, several amenities were unavailable. The pool was closed and they charge seven dollars to wash your laundry and seven dollars to dry your laundry in a machine the size of a chipmunk hole. The price is set by the hotel owners and is absolutely price gouging and taking advantage of travelers the room was mediocre at best for the price breakfast or lack there of was unacceptable and they didn’t even provide an in room safe not to mention when I came back from the laundry room, someone had clearly been in my room as the door was a jar. It was after reporting this that I was told I could not extend my stay until I could find other accommodations. Stay away.
Christine
The room was spotless the staff so welcoming. We will always stay with you when traveling

Bed was firm and very comfortable. furniture was tasteful. one of the washcloths they left was gray, not white. there was a hair on the shower floor not from us (gross!)
breakfast was varied and healthy. no meat though.
all in all for the price, i would stay here again (i'd just have to check the shower first before i accepted my room!)

Everything about the stay was fantastic. The overnight front desk employee is a great job with anything that came her way and was extremely nice!
Gale
The heater in my room kept going off and on all night long. The shade doesn't go up. Since the room was right next to the hallway door, you could hear people going in and out in early morning and late at night.
Sheree
Every aspect was very good
Brooke
The staff was very nice. The heater in my room was tricky and I had to put it on 80 to get hot air. Otherwise it was good

Everything was very good during our stay. The Room was more than adequate. Nice and clean and everything we needed. The breakfast was very good. We didn't go until 9:45 and it was very crowded at that point and we had to sit with other people but that was okay.

The place is nice and comfortable.1 problem, I know hotels don’t change their comforters for every guest.I get that. But our comforter was VERY DIRTY.Clesrly it was time to wash it.Everything else about our stay was good.Took the comforter off myself and replaced it with a clean blanket I found in the drawer. Please do better
Dean

All was as expected

I’m 82 and am very nervous about hotel showers. This had slip-proof flooring and a grab bar in just the right place. Beautiful bathroom and room. Perhaps I didn’t poke around enough in the TV offerings but I didn’t see the usual assortment of channels like MSNBC and CNN, etc. They could have been there. I did get a wake-up call both mornings which I sometimes don’t get in other hotels. So thank you for a very nice experience!
Amy

Staff was fine, breakfast was adequate but the accommodations really weren't comfortable, at all.
Upon checking in I mentioned to the guy at the desk how the building looked under construction, he said \"oh, they're just painting...\" this wasn't true, as I read a sign by the elevator admitting it was under construction and an apology for any inconvenience. By this time it was too late to cancel my booking. Had I known this was the state of the building, I would have booked a different hotel. This should have been in the hotels.com listing because in their signage, they knew full well this was the condition of their facilities. So immediately, it's an irritating scenario.
Since the building was under construction, the pool wasn't usable because the room was filled with building materials, this wasn't disclosed at the time of booking. The lighting in the room was atrocious with blindingly intense blue-ish eco-friendly bulbs. Only two really crummy thin bath towels were provided for two guests (Seriously, you couldn't just put 4 in there?) so I had to get more from the front desk. The top sheet on the bed didn't really fit the mattress so it immediately came off the corners of the bed. The \"standard\" pillows on the \"king\" bed had to be mashed into a ball to provide any support. The quilt was meager, most hotels have a decent comforter. The lackluster fitness center had a total of 7 dumbbells with little weight variation, not to mention an odd-number is in itself, odd. Awful hotel

Bait & Switch: pool still advertised-Closed 4 yrs!
Both the hotel and Hotels.com said the pool
Was open. Their website says “Pool Maintenance” but the pool has apparently been closed since Covid. FOUR YEARS! I only picked this hotel for the pool for my kids. Bait and switch to pay $350+ in Auburn, MA.

The windows were completely covered with plastic, due to extensive renovations on exterior of hotel. We thought the hotel was closed when we drove up.

Jessica
Clean room, staff was friendly and helpful, parking was convenient
Vladimir
Customer service is outstanding, with staff members who are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional, always eager to assist customers effectively.
Stephanie
Little to no parking as the building was being painted. The windows were completely blocked off with plastic due to painting. Faint smell of paint in the room throughout the stay. None of this would’ve been annoying if it had been communicated that the property was having renovations/painting and we had known to expect this. Other than slight annoyance the property was nice, just a heads up would’ve gone far.
James
the pool was closed, and they were doing a lot of outside renovations that took most of the parking spots. people had to park in fire lanes and in front of the dumpsters.
Karen
Love the renovation
We've stayed here a lot visiting family, but hadn't been in a few years. The recent renovation has the rooms looking great! Comfortable, great breakfast and service as usual.
Nicole
I arrived late at 11:30pm, was greeted warmly and immediately checked in. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It was a great quick stay.
Maura
Very nice place to stay.
Laura
Almost perfect
The staff was wonderful- particularly Sheryl. I love staying with Hampton Inn, love the included breakfast. I’m always pleased when I stay here. My only issue this time around was that the mattress was so firm it left me with a crick in my back. Otherwise, a delight.
Jane
Nice location with a nice view of the lake.
JOHN
Do go here!
Did not clean room, wifi terrible, fitness center weak

I enjoy my stay, and will most definitely stay at the Hampton Inn in Auburn Massachusetts again!
Dale
It was a well looked after hotel and the staff were very helpful.
Hector
I didn't like that the pool was closed, half of the guest laundry room was out of order, the fitness center had limited free weights and the elliptical machine out of order. I also did not like that room cleaning is every other day and we had to discard of our own trash (paper cups, food plates, etc..) in the trash outside of the hotel. I did like the staff and the breakfast served daily was well presented.
