Beautiful boutique hotel - staff super attentive and they want to make sure you are enjoying your stay at all times.
Location is awesome. Walking distance to everything. I wanted to be close to Notre Dame and this is just perfect. 3 blocks over. Was there in 5 minutes.
Breakfast was yummy in a very cozy restaurant.
All and all a perfect stay. Room was very cute and very functional.
I had a fly of stairs to get to my room as some of them are in a mid level between floors. so make sure to let the know if you have special motor requirements.
Other than that, a 10 out of 10 for the price.

Great location, very quiet and away from throngs of tourists. Shopping, dining nearby and walkable to many great neighborhoods. Only problem was that the elevator was broken during our stay and we were on the 4th floor.

I’d give six stars if I could! It was so hard to choose a hotel in Paris but I’m SO glad we chose this one. After a long day of travel in extreme heat, the hotel was a much needed respite with clean fluffy linens, air conditioning and a king size bed. Everything in the room was clean and new looking including the carpet. Staff were unassuming and helpful, and breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The Isle itself is a really chill place to stay and very peaceful compared to the tourist spots that surround it. We didn’t try the sauna because it was super hot outside. I would 100% stay here again next time we are in Paris.

Birthday celebration (big birthday) trip with my twin...and a cousin joined from Germany...we had adjoining rooms with a view of the neighborhood street......LOVED the central location, the proximity to Notre Dame and everything we wanted to enjoy, the super convenient airport transfer to and from the hotel, the cheese shop across the street, the comfortable clean rooms, the charming breakfast and service by Moses, all the charming helpful reception personnel..day and night, the wonderful end of the day tea and cake by the fireplace where we could sit and unwind and relax after a long day ..intimate setting....not a big unpersonal hotel...PERFECT for our celebration weekend....a birthday to remember! a safe and charming place to stay....I would love to stay here again! Thank you everyone who supported our stay and made it so wonderful!!!!

A fabulous place to stay. Quiet and in a perfect location just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 15 minute bike ride to the center of Paris.

The team that worked there did a great job and delivered great service and standards, the place was spot on.

Loved this hotel!

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. Room and bathroom were larger than expected for Paris and the satff were all friendly. Loved the location and the besutiful sitting area in the lobby.

Wonderful location

Bed very comfortable, room super small could not begin to unpack, we were on top of each other. Staff super friendly and helpful. Wonderful area with everything in walking distance. Misleading advertising on \"laundry facilities\". None. Only laundry \"service\" available. Paid over €100 for small paper bag of items to be washed-not dry cleaned.

The attention to detail in the finishes and the design were so cute, the placement of wallpaper, the gold treads on the carpeting in the stairwell, the mixing of patterns and textures, the lighting in the rooms, next to the beds and the fixtures so thoughtful and well placed, a tiny nail in the molding of the room to connect the curtain by its ring to keep it in place... The housekeeping was wonderful always preparing our rooms with fresh water, fresh towels that were big and white and new and fluffy, turn down service, and anything we needed the front desk would send right up. We adored this property and would love to return.

We were a bit leery, choosing a hotel in the heart of the tourist district. Hotel L de Lutece was a real find though. Clean, comfortable, exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Would absolutely stay there again.

Exceeded all expectations! From the extremely helpful and welcoming staff to the comfy modern room, we could not have chosen a better place. The manager always had a smile on his face and reminded us if we needed any recommendations to just ask. He always delivered great places to eat and drink when we needed it. The hotel itself could not be more perfectly located. We were able to get everywhere within 20 mins via the Metro. The street itself has enough amenities that you don’t even need to leave the island. We got so lucky finding them. 10/10

Wonderful location

Loved this Hotel! It dates back to late 1600's but surprisingly the room are very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of counter space and shower. The location was glorious! Short walk to the Seine River with numerous cafes to choose from. Across the river from Notre-Dame. The was great help with taxis and suggestions.

Uneven service

The hotel is in a great location. The building was built in the 1600s and thus has a tiny elevator and steep staircases. We booked breakfast included, but after having to wait for a table (they only have 3) we requested to change our reservation to exclude breakfast and the hotel refused. Also the service from the people covering the front desk was very uneven.

Great location on the Isle St Louis, so v close to Notre Dame and right on the Seine. Nice neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is pretty basic as it is so old. But it is kept clean and the staff are helpful. We had two rooms: odd that the one for my mother was large, had a bath, and with a great view. The one for me and my wife was smaller, no bath, with a dingy view of an internal courtyard. Yet cost was same. So when booking try to find out about size/view. Also breakfasts were a bit hit and miss. First two mornings a young man serving a v basic breakfast with no choice. Then after that a young women who gave us a menu and we had lots of choice! Seemed a bit odd. But overall highly recommended.

Perfect in every way!

I had cause to stay overnight in Paris as a solo traveller. I have stayed in the city many times but never alone, so I wanted to be sure I would feel safe when out and about at night. A number of years ago I decided that Île Saint-Louis was a very special area - almost like a little village within the city so it seemed like the obvious choice of location. Accommodation tends to be on the more expensive side here, but I was fortunate to get a great rate for Hôtel de Lutèce for the night. What a delightful, peaceful and authentic little hotel. As well as fabulous staff, the room was full of character and the interior was dreamy. A generous size of bedroom and bathroom for a Paris hotel. I would be ecstatic to stay here on every future visit. Highly recommend.

17th century bldg with modern touches!

Very old building with modern bathrooms, small simple rooms. Great location easy walk all over. It’s an island in the siren river how cool is that.
Was there during transit strike a bit chaotic traffic wise. Plan ahead for airport rides.

Great location and staff, and clean room and bath.

This hotel is located in the small island in Seine right across the Notre Dam church. It is close to popular area like Le Marais and many cruise boat from here to Eiffel tower. It was so easy to navigate around the city from the hotel. The room was small but the bathroom was big. It had a nice powder desk and big mirror, which is additional to sink and bath. Hotel is in an old building but it was maintained very well and nicely. Room was clean which is super important for me, especially bathroom. One thing, when I got silver benefit as one breakfast, but the hotel doesn't offer this at all and Hotels.com keeps giving this benefit to the customers. They instead gave us a big bottle of Evian water and small Champaign. Staffs were so friendly and helpful. They have umbrellas for us when it rained unexpectedly.

Booked due to a layover from CDG, arrived late and was greeted by the front desk. Large room on the 6th floor, comfy bed, nice amenties, updated bathroom. Elevator goes to 5th floor then stairs to 6 (noting this in case you have heavy luggage). A/C worked well. Check out was 12pm which allowed me to have breakfast and stroll through Paris for a bit. Very enjoyable stay and accommodating staff. I lost my phone charger in transit and front desk was able to assist me with the use of a temporary replacement. Tres bien!

We checked in early in the quaint and comfortable lobby, and Laurence graciously moved us to an upper room which was available for immediate occupancy. The room is relatively small, but exceedingly well designed with two closets, a large bathroom with a counter and an opposite vanity counter, both with mirrors. A large window overlooking the relatively quiet and mostly pedestrian street affords quintessentially Parisien views. The twin beds comprising a queen were shorter than ideal, but not a surprise in a 17th-century building. We did not try the breakfast. We will happily return.

Gem in the heart of Paris

Hotel de Lutece is a warm, clean, comfortable European style hotel with helpful, friendly staff. The hotel is a short walk from the Notre Dame cathedral. I was able to walk all around the isles, walk to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay and walk to a Seine River Cruise. It is a short walk to a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stop and the underground.

Small and friendly hotel—a bit larger than a boutique-y hotel but not one of the mega chains. The island location of the hotel means minimal traffic (foot and vehicle) but great amenities. The hotel is within walking distance of a number of sights. The building is old, so you’ll hear others moving about, but this is typical of Paris. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location

Very pleasant small hotel in an incredible location -- the perfect base for walking around Paris, situated on a quiet street with cafes, groceries, and some shops, but few people and no noise. The hotel was very pleasant, small room as expected, but staff were very nice and helpful in all respects.

Overall, this is a very pleasant hotel in an excellent location on the Ile-Saint-Louis. It is convenient to all of Paris, while being located in what could be a small town somewhere in France. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. It is the room that let us down a little. It is small, which is to be expected at this price point in Paris, but it shows wear and tear. While it is kept very clean, it seems \"lived in.\" The bathroom, in particular, could use an upgrade. In addition, breakfasts are limited. The breakfast room itself has only 3 stables, so late-comers need to wait for an open table. The food is always the same, and I'd consider it the bare minimum: juice, coffee and tea, a few croissants and rolls, a selection of only two cheeses and meat -- the same ones everyday. The hotel could add variety, even within the confines of a continental breakfast.

Construction early in the morning. Petit room.

I decent location. Very safe area. A little walk to the main lines, about a half mile or so to hotel de ville. Overall I was upgraded which was excellent. The younger woman was very pleasant as was the man. The older woman was less so. The room was old but typical in Paris as well as small. What I cannot forget was the hammering and sawing each morning starting at 9. Far too early for a hotel with guests on holiday. Great price for a quiet safe location. I traveled solo if there were a partner the room would have been too small. Noticed the bathroom ceiling was falling in in some places. Room was never warm enough even with heat on full. I would stay again if cheap. I prefer le marais area.

This hotel in in a 16th century building so the rooms are small. It has a great location, hotel has been renovated and is lovely and comfortable. It is quirky with odd shaped rooms but that adds to it's charm. Staff is first class and very friendly and helpful. Lots of great little bistros on the island to enjoy and food/liquor shops for your convenience
