Our Favorite Hotel on the Ile

Our place to stay in Paris. We tried the patio room for the first time, and be warned there are no windows, except in the bathroom, but you do get the private interior patio, well-hidden by blinds and foliage. We enjoyed the night air and privacy in our little air shaft every evening. We barely spent time in our room except to sleep and bathe. We love the Deux-Iles staff, from the daytime and overnight desk staff to the cleaners and fabulous cooks/bakers. They are the true magnet for this hotel. We will certainly be back soon.

The location was amazing, a block from the Notre Dame. The neighborhood was full of cafes, shops, markets, pharmacies, anything you need was right there. A block from the Seine, so you could walk along the Seine at night and enjoy the spectacular lights and views. The hotel itself is perfection: small, quaint, beautifully decorated. A lovely and delicious breakfast is offered daily 7-11. The staff is also outstanding: kind, helpful, with personality. I’m so grateful we accidentally found this place for our Paris vacation.

Conveniently located on the Ile St. Louis, This charming boutique hotel is within walking distance of many major paris sites, Including Notre Dame, and the Bastille Opera. There is a convenient metro stop on the other side of the river. One of the highlights of this Beautifully decorated inn, Is the cooked breakfast. Make sure you're rate includes it and make time for yourself to go downstairs and enjoy a delicious morning meal. If you are going to do a lot of walking and this will certainly set you up for the day. I look forward to returning to this very clean And beautifully decorated hotel someday soon.

This was a lovely hotel, small and friendly, the reception staff were exceptional. I love the location and although I didn't have a chance to enjoy it, I could see that there was a lovely afternoon tea each afternoon.

Charming usually means small!

Charming room with modern bathroom. Very clean with excellent maid service. The only drawback was the size of the room, especially because of the oversized bed - no room to open suitcases. There was a minuscule desk with a chair squeezed next to the bed. Breakfast was okay with friendly service. Great location!

The staff were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. They even had a daily cake and teas in reception which was such a lovely touch.

I have always dreamed at staying on Ile St Louis and finally got to on this visit. I LOVED this hotel. The reception was so friendly and helpful. There was a nice reception sitting area. The rooms were nice sized and very quiet. The bathrooms were spacious and my room had a nice tub. It also has an elevator. You can walk to many great restaurants, cafes and shopping. The staff all spoke English. I did not try to breakfast, so can't speak about that. It felt like a big hug. I will definitely stay here again.

Cute but small. Great location, near beautiful cafes and restaurants. It’s located on a nice street. The room was very small but just needed somewhere to stay because my flight was delayed and it was a convenient price for the night. Staff was very friendly and inviting. The bedding wasn’t very clean. There were dirt stains on pillow cases and sheets didn’t seem fresh. Bathroom was very clean. The air conditioning was a problem because the room would not stay fresh and I had to keep the windows open the whole time to let some air in. Good for a single person or couple, not a family with kids kind of hotel.

Wonderful spot in the center of it all

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They were quick to prepare a cup of coffee or tea, while we were waiting in the lobby, order a cab, or help in any way they could. Breakfast was wondeful with fresh squeezed juice, eggs made to order, and coffee made to order. The location cannot be beat. Rooms are cozy as would be expected in an historic building in the ancient core of Paris, but overall just a wonderfully comfortabe and friendly place to stay!

The hotel is in a great walkable location. the staff are friendly and helpful. It is a very cute boutique hotel but not recommended for stays with large families as the rooms are small. There’s lots to do around it, there are restaurants and cafes and things are fairly easy to find. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. We arrived the day of check in about 3 hrs before check in time, and they worked with us and held our luggages while they cleaned the room and we walked around.

The location was amazing and we had no issues getting the Metro and going anywhere in Paris. Would definitely come again.

Very nice hotel in a 17th century building on the island. Staff was great, especially with giving us information about the planned strikes and areas to avoid the demonstrations. The room was small but that is normal for a European boutique hotel. Had everything we needed. We love being on the island , perfect location.
