Great hotel in a fantastic location, with easy walking access to two nearby metro stations. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The continental breakfast was delicious, fresh, and full of French charm, with excellent pastries.

Our room exceeded expectations - a unique corner room with two balconies and a direct view of the Dome.

Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent and affordable accommodation in the heart of Paris.

Hotel was located in a quiet but pleasant neighborhood. Delicious restaurants were located nearby and there was a small market within an 8 minute walk.
We had mosquitos in our room daily, I think they were coming up through the plumbing. But never knew we would need bug spray, in Paris, in November! Our room was stuffy and had zero air circulation. But we did find a fan in our closet so that was a must. And we also couldn’t take a shower without flooding our bathroom, never figured that one out.

Warning- this place does not take your personal security seriously - my Expedia account was hacked, we alerted the hotel that the person currently, physically, in the hotel was the culprit and they said they could not do anything about it. Charges disputed but I would think they would be more proactive.

This was the perfect home base for our trip. We were right near the metro station and a bunch of various restaurants. It was also very quiet in this neighborhood. Our room was nice. Rooms in Europe compared to the US are very small so we were quite surprised at how large it actually was! We only ate the breakfast twice but it had a decent selection of eggs, pastries and cheeses/meats. I believe it had hot oatmeal too (with toppings). We did not select the rooms with the view but if I went back I would choose that next time. A balcony would have been nice. But in all honesty we were not in our room much so it didn’t matter! Great stay.

Rooms are super tight

We had a superior double room overlooking the dome of the Les Invalides. Our windows opened which added a bit more space to the 17sqm. Please take note, this is a really small room, there is no sitting area, you will be sat on the bed when in for the evening. There is a mini fridge in the wardrobe, but my raincoat could not be hung in the wardrobe as it touched the fridge and we could smell plastic after 10 minutes. Very limited storage in the wardrobe. No room to lay open bags, we had to store one closed in the bathroom, which was a good size, bright and airy, also with a window that could open. The lift is tiny and will fit one person and two large bags. We stayed 5 nights and breakfast had a good variety to fill us until lunch time. There are no self serve laundry facilities, however there is one within walking distance.
Close to a number of stations and easy access to the RER if heading to Versailles. This building is very old (as in age) and so modern conveniences have been added.
Unfortunately, by the end of five nights I was feeling the lack of space. I wouldn't stay here again for a length of time, however for a night or two with a small carry on size luggage, we would return. Staff were very friendly and really helpful.

This was our second stay at Hotel de L'Empereur. The rooms are small but everything else was great. Although small the room was comfortable. The location is great with good restaurants and close to Rue Clerk so fresh fruit, food and drink is very close.

Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming! Elevator is small, but at least they have an elevator since many other places are stairs only.

The room was quite big for the area we were in. And we had a wonderful view of Les Invalides.

I would 10/10 stay here again as it was not too bad of a walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Museum of Arms, or the Sein.

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring all the Paris highlights popular with first-time visitors. The location can’t be beat - walkable to Invalides and Musee Rodin; 2 blocks from Metro to Champs-Elysees, the Louvre, Ile de la Cite. Yet, it’s quiet at night and with cozy cafes in the neighborhood for breakfast and lunch; Rue Cler is just around the corner. The building is old and the showers are so strange for Americans (how to manage without flooding the bathroom!); the hotel breakfast is convenient but nothing special. But the bed was very comfortable. Room was only small by American standards (and we are not in America)! The staff are extraordinarily polite and so helpful! Marvelous little place. We would stay here again!

Overall we had a lovely stay! Long story short, our original hotel overbooked the day we were travelling to Paris (for our honeymoon I might add lol), so I was stressed trying to book a new place. I came across this one on Expedia and I am so happy we stayed here. The people here were SO friendly! The room itself was small but didn’t feel suffocating. The bathroom was quite large which was awesome. We went in August, and it was in between the olympics and paraolympics, so it was SO quiet! Felt really safe walking around and it was close to a lot of the big landmarks (Louvre, Eiffel Tower). Highly recommend!

We recently stayed here for 4 nights and were very pleased with the accommodations. We reserved a quad room which to our delight ended up being 2 adjoining rooms. The kids had their own toilet and shower! Great location… across the street from Hotel Invalides, approx 2 block walk to LaTour-Mouberg metro. Groceries, pharmacy, laundry, patisserie and restaurants all close by. The staff here were very friendly and helpful and speak English. The buffet breakfast was very good with sweet and savory options. The bathrooms were nice and spacious (bidets are no longer). Effiel Tower was 10 min walk away. This is Paris so be prepared for the tiny elevator. We would absolutely stay here again!

Started bad but got better

We were put in a room that was not what we reserved, a much smaller room. We had to stay one night in it, but the hotel did refund us the cost difference for that night and gave us breakfast each morning for our troubles, so at least they tried to make up for it. Breakfast was good, the standard rooms are extremely small, but the superior rooms are much better, and had a great view of the Invalides. Our shower drain was partially plugged, so the shower overflowed without us knowing and flooded the bathroom and carpet a little, but they got that fixed (but the room smelled musty after that and needed to be aired out regularly). It's in a quiet area - no loud bars or noises at night - not like our other hotel in Paris. And no loud sirens during the night either. For the right price, I would stay here again. Super close to a metro stop, and not too far from Eiffel Tower.

Marie was so welcoming when we arrived. She stored our bags for us so we could go shopping before check in time. After checking in we immediately requested to be moved to a larger room. Our original room was very small and not much room for our 6 pieces of luggage. Roger helped us move the next day to their largest suite. It was phenomenonal! He apologized for the inconvenience and added breakfast to the rest of our stay for free.
This staff is amazing! Elevator is small and stairs are narrow... But this is the definition of a unique, beautiful boutique hotel. Very walkable to many shops and Cafes in the area.
The customer service is phenomenal!!!!! They deserve 10 stars! Will definitely be back!

Property was so outdated and smelly . No fan in the bathroom, air-conditioner barely worked in the room . Wifi was terrible, had to use mobile data. Staff was friendly.

Paid more price than others which was wrong choice .
Street was ok, close to Effel tower and others . Recommend 8Arr though much cleaner and lower proce and more convenient. Nice customer service .

All the staff was very friendly. Specially Roger from reception. Always with an smile and asking if we needed any assistance. The breakfast was good and good price also. The room was small but we did not need anything more. I didn't like the shower door its very uncomfortable and not functional. The maid on early morning was very noisy on the hallway. I will definitely recommend staying here. Very to close to train station and decent walk to eiffel tour.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. We could walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc De Triumph, the Louvre etc and the train station was a short walk away too. We chose this hotel due to its location, boutique style and large rooms. Our deluxe room was larger than most Paris hotel rooms. There was plenty of space and we had two windows that we could open for fresh air. The bathroom was large and very clean but a little dated and tired. The king size bed was comfortable and our room was serviced each day. There are many cafes and restaurants to choose from when you walk out the door and I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends. The staff were lovely and spoke very good English.

Definitely would stay again!

Absolutely lovely. A friend and I went for a couple of days away - location was great, very close to the metro and walking distance from Eiffel Tower. Staff were lovely and always on hand if we needed anything. Perfect place, would definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we had an excellent experience. We had a large room with a large bathroom, we did not have a view from our room window but we were ok with it. Breakfast was good and convenient. The hotel was quiet with a friendly staff. It was walking distance to several restaurants and metro station.
