I had a great stay at Hotel Eiffel Rive Gauche. The staff were available around the clock and were always very nice, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was cleaned every day and we received fresh towels daily, which I really appreciated. The location is excellent, with lots of cafés, pastry shops, and restaurants right around the hotel, making it easy to grab something to eat. It’s only about a five-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and conveniently located near the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, and bus and train stations, so getting to major attractions was very easy. I always felt safe in the area, and the free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus.

The property is ideally located. Which is what you pay for, breakfast is small but it is nice. The staff were really helpful in terms of taxis, shops, leaving our bags after we checked out. The AC did not work, and the room was hot, not ideal when trying to sleep.

Didn’t have access to hot water or heat in the room for a day weds of my week there
The small closet had mold in it and had a terrible smell of “wetness”. The cleaning person made so much noise cleaning the other rooms, forgetting we were on vacation woke up late and were also dealing with the time change so instead of sleeping in quietness we were often awaken by the stupid vacuum with the long rubber hose that would constantly slam against the walls and doors ….The shower doors didn’t fully close n lock so excessive water came out into the bathroom floor when we showered causing me to slip and hurt my arm… the breakfast… ugh just one of the worst stays in my many visits to Paris I would never stay here again

They charged me for that weds were we had no hot water and we had to miss a
Paid event because we couldn’t take a shower to get ready that day was also a cold miserable day a hot shower would have helped so we stayed in, the manager said no you were able to “rest” and said she wasn’t a magician when I asked her if the water issue would be resolved in that day because I was in the verge of changing hotels ….terrible experience !

My room was very nice. it was on the small side (normal for Europe) but it fit my needs nicely. I was in room 426 and had a nice view of the Eiffel tower. I was praying they would put me in this room! It was such a delightful view. There is a small elevator to take you to the 4th floor. I was traveling solo and I was able to fit my bags inside perfectly. The front desk was very kind and accommodating. You will need to bring your own wash clothes/bath sponges- just a heads up to my American friends. There is a pharmacy a block down the street if you have forgotten any toiletries and they have great prices and a nice selection of Parisian skincare. My room was nice and warm, but I did appreciate the extra electric heater and placed it next to my bed on extra chilly nights. The walls are fairly thin, so be prepared to hear others conversations. I used a white noise on my phone and earplugs, and that did the trick for me. The breakfast buffet was very nice, as well. Eggs, pancakes, yogurts, breads and pastries. Coffee and juices. The best part was the lunch meat and cheeses! Do partake if you stop in for the buffet. The price is great for what you get. A block down the street are restaurants, a Fromagerie, meat and cheese markets, a small grocery and a bakery if you are too tired from walking, know you can get things close by if need be. Overall, I had a fantastic time here and the Eiffel tower was only a 10-15 minute walk (bonus)! Thank you Eiffel Rive Gauche.

The room and bathroom were indeed tiny but I expected that after reading other reviews and prepared myself for that. Not ideal size of room for a plus size person.

The shower doors did not shut all the way so we couldn’t really use the rainwater shower head. The tv was antenna tv with limited shows to watch. You could not control your room temperature. And the view of the Eiffel Tower was only the top part of it.

No hot water in the morning. Was very disappointed in this! Also, the shower setup is terrible. Water everywhere! Otherwise, the rooms were clean and fine for our family of 5 with 2 adjoining rooms. Location is really nice within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and metro.

My stay in the hotel was good. Although I asked for a view of the Eiffel Tower but unfortunately didn’t get that…it was ok.

Pro: good and quiet location
near metro station around 7min walk
Near tourist sites like Eiffel Tower/Invalides
Loads of restaurants/patisserie

Cons: Rooms are somewhat small
Showers a challenge due to it being small
Needs reviewing TV reception-they don’t work if someone is else is moving on the other rooms.

Overall not bad but hopefully can improve on a few bits.

Will come back to book again in the future.

Location is near Eiffel Tower and pretty good spots to eat. However, hotel is extremely small! Very very small. Hotel looks much bigger in pictures. The elevator was also very small so most of the times we took the stairs. The hallways were also so small I felt crammed all the time. I’m glad we only had a 3 night stay because I don’t know how I would have survived any more time. The staff were amazing and super friendly but I honestly would not recommend staying here unless you wanna feel claustrophobic your whole trip.

Paid for breakfast but wasn’t the best. Had very limited food. Some days only breads and pancakes. When had eggs was only scrambled. Not good variety for the price. The room was small but the view at least for my room was great. To cold and heater was not connected. Found out the last day. For the price I expected a bit more but was not at all the worst.

They did move us to a slightly bigger room the last two days, but the hot water was out for 2 days ... The staff was very nice and spoke English, lots of restaurant options around the hotel and the Eiffel tower is only a 8 minute walk. Wish we had a room with the Eiffel tower views though.

Due to a transportation breakdown I had to stay one night in Paris and picked this as being inexpensive and close to the Eiffel Tower. Hotel looks unassuming from the outside but is vintage and very charming inside. Front desk is manned 24 hours so it's no problem getting in if you stay out very late. I had room 426, nice view of the Eiffel Tower from my window and 15 minute walk to get there, lots of restaurants/ bars/ shops in the area but hotel is on a quiet side street. Metro to CDG also only 15 minute walk.

Pictures are not accurate. Paid extra for room with view of Eiffel Tower, tip was barely visible not as seen in photos. I’m 6’1 hit my elbow on night stand, my knees on the toilet, had to stand diagonally to shower. Selected queen bed maybe got a full. Woke up to bathroom floor wet from above floor leak. Room was smaller than a jail cell. Wife and I were at least close the entire time in the room. Elevator says 4 people max. My 5’1 petite wife myself 2 back packs and 1 luggage didn’t fit. Stay away
Management offered me a15% off next stay. Never coming back

The Hotel Rive Gauche was far from ideal. The rooms are TINY, the toilet and shower were broken and despite telling them daily, nothing was done about it. It was nearly impossible to take a proper shower. We were never offered a change of rooms or discount. The desk clerk just rolled her eyes at me. However, the rooms were clean.

Spent 11 nights in November. You would think the room would be cool but it was not. The temp of the room when you enter is around 74f but the rooms are approximately 10x11 feet and some of the rooms are even smaller based on the fire exit map. Because of their size when 2 people are in the room the temp rises to around 80f degrees. The hotel advertises AC but in our case didn't work. I am not the first review that has pointed this out. When I asked the desk to have it looked at the desk clerk went in the back and adjusted the temp but that had zero effect. No notice in the room that the temp is adjusted centrally. That might help some rooms but after 5 complaints about the temp in the room my room still was very hot.
There is a window but it opens to a court yard that has a glass roof but its not fully enclosed so it was cooler. When the window is open the room temp comes down but the noise from the court yard, which is also the stairwell, is magnified and makes it difficult to get quality sleep.
The staff seem to be oblivious to how much noise they make and how much noise some guests make coming and going. There is so much noise i believe they have to know just choose to not stop it.
One of the other reviews said the hotel is more of a hostel than a hotel. This is not far from the truth.
No phone in the room to call the desk, no refrigerator in the room, no clock, no usb plugs, very small, noisy, no AC… sounds like a hostile doesn't it.

unfortunately the hotel is going through some extensive modernisation but with dust & a loud drill which starts very early it is off putting but it would be a pleasure to return to see the rooms which hopefully has an adequate bathroom size instead of a shoe box size & the room was small but clean & the beds are so comfortable not far to get to tower which is a bonus & lots of places to eat along the way

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Property location is great! The room and bathroom are very tiny. Hard to function and get ready in such a small space. The room got pretty stuffy and warm at night - The AC did not work and the windows did not have a screen so we did not feel safe leaving them open since our room was located on the first floor. The walls are also very thin - You could hear everything. However, for the price and location it was good for a short stay. Probably would not stay here if our trip was anything longer than 3 days. No complaints about the staff - They were pleasant.

I don’t know if that’s a Paris thing shower very small. Daily housekeeping was fantastic. Breakfast selection was ok. Besides all of this our stay was pleasant and memorable.
