Extremely helpful, provided a map with bus routes to take and enjoy the city. Breakfast was delicious. Many restaurants nearby, there is also a great little gelato spot around the corner. Loved this place.

An absolute gem of a hotel. About 20-30 minutes on the bus from the centre. Oh and the bus stop is 5 minutes walk from the front door. Every member of staff was just lovely - nothing was too much trouble. My only negative is the steep staircase to get from the front door to the reception. Hard work with a heavy suitcase.

Super cute little place. No elevators and plenty of stairs. As a family of 4 we did not like that 2 beds were sofa beds and extremely uncomfortable. We had to request another mattress be put on top. The breakfast room is very tiny. About 3 tables and you need to book a time to eat and very unlikely you get the time you want. Our room had \"2\" bathrooms, but not really. 1 bathroom had a toilet and shower, the other had a sink and a shower. Very odd. I would only recommend if there were only 2 of us going.

Out of the hubub, super cute!

This was a lovely hotel in a real residential neighborhood but with easy bus access to all attractions. The gelato place downstairs is amazing (be sure to admire the cabinets of finished cakes!), and the restaurants recommended by the hotel staff were amazing and very non-touristy.

Owners gave some great recommendations and directions. Easy to use nearby public transportation. Issue with maintenance in kitchen had no impact on breakfast as they provided us with coupons to bar across street. Late loud neighbors upstairs but you can't have everything. Otherwise phenomenal.

Monica and her staff were kind, polite, and extremely Helpful with directions, bringing up luggage, providing bus tickets, and calling a taxi for us. Dino provided us with attentive service at breakfast, which is included. Very reasonable rates for all services and comfort provided. They run the hotel in a very professional manner to accommodate guests. The hotel and rooms are very clean and quaint. A great night’s sleep in they’re comfortable beds and linens. You have access to everything you need there and you feel safe and cozy. A local bus runs every few minutes in the direction of the main attractions. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Florence.

The place is itself and the rooms are quite lovely. It is a bit further from the center which I liked as you get more of a neighborhood feel and not a place full of tourists. The staff were all for the most part quite helpful and friendly. Even bringing me a tea service up to the 2nd floor. My problem was with the cleanliness of my room. I found long dark hairs all over my bathroom. I mean ALL over and in the shower and on the bidet. There were also a pair of socks in a corner by the couch and then half eaten candy and a wrapper on the floor next to the window. I could see all the dust that was gathered along the floorboards by the window. I was really only there for two nights and travel with my own Lysol wipes so I cleaned off the shower and bidet myself and used the towels to move all the hair over to a corner. The room was still being cleaned when I arrived and I wished theyd have just taken their time and cleaned it properly. As lovely as the rooms are I will NOT stay at that place again.

A gem in a quiet neighborhood

We had a most wonderful stay at the Hotel Rosary Garden! They answered several questions before the trip and made check in very easy. We loved the orientation to the city, advice about the bus and they kindly answered any question. The room was spacious, with a beautiful mural of the city and immaculate and also immaculately cleaned daily. There was also a charming sitting room on our floor. A highlight was starting each morning with their breakfast and warm hospitality by Dino. The hotel is conveniently located and it was easy to get to the center of Florence by bus or long walk if you prefer. We loved coming back to the quiet of the hotel and the non touristy neighborhood. There are several restaurants within a block and a large grocery shop and mall as well. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel while exploring Florence!

Loved the Rosary Garden Hotel! It’s a quaint, charming hotel right outside of Florence. The staff was kind and helpful, especially Antonio. Breakfast was delicious!! It was a direct, short bus ride in to Florence City center. Only downside was the TV didn’t work right and we couldn’t get the AC to turn on. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay there.

The front desk staff was very helpful with all things. The only downside is it is not close to the city center and you need to take the bus to get to the center. However there is a stop right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is ok. If you are looking for a hot breakfast every morning this place is not for you. They have a small breakfast room and they ask you for the time you plan on eating. Dino in the breakfast room is a plus. He knows the area very well and is originally from Canada. Rooms were very spacious, clean and the bathroom is one of the bigger ones I've been in Italy.

The staff are all brilliant. All very helpful with maps and bus information. Our room was fantastic and unique with a lovely high timbered ceiling. The breakfast room is on the small side so you need to book a time. It works well though. The hotel is a bit difficult to find by car so would benefit from having a map and arrival instructions. Car park is 2 minutes walk.

A Fantastic Find.

This is an amazing older style hotel with modern amenities.
Perfect finishes and overall cleanlyness makes this property one of the best. The proud management team went out of their to make us and all their guests feel special. For us the location was perfect with a top rated restaurant next door, shopping centre with supermarket over the road and easy quick access downtown using the local public busses. Would gladly return and we recommend this hotel most highly. The best.

The hotel is extremely charming and very well-maintained. The neighborhood is out of the center, which is an essential feature for me as I come for business and like to avoid the crowds in summer. (Tourists would have an easy walk to the sights, however.) Hotel Wifi worked beautifully and a substantial breakfast is included.

I particularly want to signal out the desk and breakfast room staff for cordiality, professionalism, and helpfulness. A wonderful value all around for those seeking a more tranquil locale. I will return here for my next trip; this was my first stay.

Andrea (receptionist) is the best!!!. This hotel is gorgeous and cozy, easy to walk around and take the bus to go the the main touristic spots, nice restaurants and big supermarket around to the hotel . Andrea was super helful and patiently answered all the questions i had regarding the place and our stay, he even provided us with bus tickets(they sell them at the hotel) and gave us information needed to move around and enjoy our quick visit to Firenze . Our room was gorgeous, big bed and beautiful Renaissance decorated (we got an upgrade for being gold member ) cozy and comfortable.
But without a doubt what makes this hotel unique (besides the decor)is the staff, what an excellent customer service.

The name Rosary Garden suggests that there is a garden however there isn't a garden.

We definitely got spoiled at this hotel and the next one we stayed at couldn't live up. The room was a good size and the staff was so friendly.
My complaint would be that the bed was a little too hard (though not uncommon for a hotel) and it was far from the center of town. Also, GPS took us to the side of the building so we had trouble finding the door. Look for La Piazzetta sign and the door to the hotel os right next to it.

Lovely hotel and I’m very happy I picked Rosary Garden for my first trip to Florence! Located ~20-25 min from the city center, it is easy to get to and from by buses (or a cab) Complimentary breakfast was delish, rooms are cute and staff is most helpful. Recommended for a stay. One downside is that you most likely won’t be walking to and from hotel so you have to be ready to take transportation.

This was our third stay at this small family-run hotel and we plan to stay here whenever we return to Florence. The hotel staff - Monica, Andrea, and Rodrigo are helpful and accommodating. They really made us feel like we were returning to see old friends. The hotel is located a short bus ride (15 minutes) from the city center, but that distance is easily walkable on a nice day if you want some exercise. Our room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the complimentary mini-bar drinks and the alcoholic drinks in the sitting room when we returned at the end of the day. The breakfast buffet was a good start to the day with fresh croissants and pastries, various deli meats and cheeses, fruit, yogurt, juice, etc., but the highlight is always the delicious cappuccino! Many thanks for our wonderful stay!

The Rosary garden hotel was exceptional, the staff were extremely helpful and polite, the location was about 3 miles out of Florence in a lovely spot next to shops and a few restaurants. The bus stop was a two minute walk from the hotel and the number 23 bus was a fantastic bus to take. The price of bus tickets is 1euro 50 and lasts 90min which you can buy from the hotel. The taxi is about 30-40 euros to and from the airport, 14- 16 euros into the city of Florence. The hotel room was great with the most amazing comfy queen size bed. My Wife and I felt spoilt and very much relaxed at the hotel. We would rate the hotel as 4 half stars we absolutely loved our stay. Thank you

Tamara was especially good, nothing was too much trouble for her and she helped us a lot. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel was only a short bus ride into the centre of town. The location is safe and the way it’s small you meet other travelers at tea time/coffee or breakfast. The owner is very accommodating. Rooms are clean and home feeling. Room is perfectly roomy. They take your keys while you leave for a safety measure. Traveling alone this is a huge plus. They can help set up tours and transportation. Would recommend ask owner what restaurants to go eat at her choices were great.

Truly the best service and hospitality experience we have EVER had while traveling. Monica is absolutely incredible. She is so kind and helpful. It is evident that Rosary Garden is so much for than a job or business for her. Her guests are her top priority and it is her passion to create an amazing stay for each of them. She adds so many extra touches in the hotel, like complimentary espresso, snacks, and bikes.

The location of Rosary Garden is perfect. Quiet and away from the Florence center but only 15min bus ride to the city. The bus stop is literally in front of the hotel and costs only $1.50 euros. As there are no Ubers in Italy, being able to take the bus rather than having to call a taxi to the hotel each time you want to leave is perfect. Not to mention the best gelato in Italy right next to the hotel as well!

Monica is so sweet. She remembers even the smallest details about her clients. When we first arrived, my husband and I made a funny comment about really liking her pens - they were great quality! To our surprise, when we came back to our room on the last night, she had left a little gift bag and note with two pens in it, thanking us for staying at Rosary Garden. That kind of thoughtfulness is unparalleled with any hotel experience I've ever had. Thank you, Monica! We were so happy with our stay at Rosary Garden and will most definitely be back!

The hotel is set in the south east of the city a convenient bus ride from the centre-it is not a big hotel-very comfortable with good room facilities including air conditioning. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and can organise trips and reservations for you. Nothing was too much trouble-there is a very good bus service and bus stops close by. A very good restaurant is next door and the adjacent gelateria is fantastic. There is also a good supermarket across the road. It’s a little distant from the airport so be prepared if you take a taxi for the fare of around 40 euros each way. Would highly recommended.

I seldom take the time to leave a negative reviews, as I am a world traveller and I find most issues workable. This was not the case.
PIctures on the site were done by a very good marketing agent. For a US traveller this will equate to a Holiday Inn Express-Motel 6 experience.
-First; No lift; ( understand this is fairly common in Europe, in historical hotels ) This is a modern property and they do have a lift to connect to the breakfast room, yet not available to some rooms ( our room ) Stairs from the street and on and the poor ( Very nice guy ) and myself almost feel bring them up.
Mattresses: very uncomfortable. Back hurting the following day, Booked a Quad room for 4 and there were two tiny sofa beds for the 2 extra beds, extremely uncomfortable
Free Wifi: It never worked, tried to do a bit of work while way, impossible.
The worst: 4 tiny tables in the tiny \"breakfast room\". We tried to go out to breakfast 2 times and could not as they were all occupied. We were then called to have breakfast, only to be rushed to eat in five minutes, as it was past the \"breakfast time\" while rude person had taken most of the items out and stated several times that she needed to close the room ( hotel has 15 plus rooms . I will stay at a Motel Six before I return here.
Positive Note: Rodrigo was extremely attentive, courteous.
Final note: book elsewhere if you can

Cosy comfort away from crowds

This is a small, comfortable, traditional style hotel, situated some distance from centre of town. Staff are English speaking and very helpful. Rooms are good size and well furnished. We loved the bed- firm and large! En suite bathroom with good sized controllable shower. Clean and new towels as required.
No proper bar, just very small areas where tea, coffee and cake available all day.
WiFi in rooms. Breakfast typical continental with lovely sweet croissants and rolls- service very attentive.
TV in Italian mainly. Criticism is noise travels easily and the loud banging of the front door was annoying.
Area is served by regular buses to all the famous landmarks. Also walkable if you choose to.
There is private parking but at 9 euros a day, quite expensive when you also pay a city tax on top of cost of hotel. A few restaurants locally but check if they are happy to use English or not. Overall a good experience.

This hotel was good value,. Whilst we realised that the price reflected the distance from the city centre it was certainly a lot longer than a 20 minute walk - nearer 40-50 mins.
However there was a frequent and cheap bus service nearby. On the whole the staff were very friendly but it wasn’t until the last day that we discovered we should have been given a map and some advice on travel into the centre along with the opportunity to buy bus tickets at the reception for a cheaper price. This was a pity but the very helpful lady on reception that last day did apologise for the oversight. We also weren’t told about the guest lounge on the next floor which we didn’t discover until just before we went home. on the whole a pleasant hotel with fair facilities

Beautiful retreat from the busy centre of Florence

Hotel located 10 minute bus ride from the centre of Florence. Very clean and nice decor.
Staff were so helpful and friendly. Continental Breakfast was adequate. Stay here for a timely escape from the hustle and bustle of Florence.

having read a lot of reviews about Rosary Garden before we booked we were not disappointed it is a lovely hotel and Monica and all the staff are wonderful Our flight was delayed and so arrived rather late they suggested the best way to get there safely that time of night they were so helpful with everything that we needed including the loan of a travel plug !! complimentary drinks in fridge in our room and drinks and cakes on offer during the day were very nice too! The bus service was excellent we bought a 3 day ticket for 12 euros which was amazing value as you could use it for every bus and tram all day Would definitely come back to stay at Rosary Garden if we ever decided to come back to Florence again thank you Monica and all the staff

Hotel is a little out of center but public transport is available. We were taking tours so, had no need to commute back and forth during the day. Helpful staff and I nice breakfast. Minibar in room was nice, so was the coffee and tea room,

out of the city but excellent public transport to get to the city and the sites. Fantastic little pizzeria next to the hotel, with delicious real Italian food! Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was tasteful but a little cramped, breakfast was sufficient.

A pleasant and quiet family hotel

Excellent value for money. Staff in general were very attentive to my needs and tried as much as possible to accommodate these needs throughout my stay. The room was really spacious, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Although a small family-run hotel, Rasary Gardens is worth s visit! Special thanks to the staff. They do understand that 'the customer comes first' and endeavoured to demonstrate that in their dealings with their guests. Many thanks to Monica, Rodrigo, Marco and the lovely chef 😊

Small family run hotel in Florence.

Small, charming, family run hotel, which sits south of the river Arno, in the suburbs of Florence.The hotel staff are very friendly, courteous, informative and extremely helpful. During our 10 day stay, the hotel staff team spent hours helping us with local information, booking trips, attraction visits, train tickets, taxis and bus tickets. AII the staff have very good English. We enjoyed a nice continental breakfast buffet in the quaint but small dining room. The en-suite room was clean and tidy. The hotel is near to a regular bus route into the centre Florence. (20 mins approx) However the bus is very often full, standing room only. The hotel provides free mini bar in the room and afternoon tea/coffee with croissants and cake in small sitting room. There is a supermarket across the square which provides most things that you may require during your stay.

Beautiful Florence and District

Wonderful didn't want to leave. Hotel was exceptional, so many nice and extra touches, sold bus tickets so travelling into Florence was no problem. Arrived in Pisa and took train to Florence for about 12e taxi to hotel from station approx.18e Florence very busy as fashion week so was pleased we were a little outside. Getting around area was no problem good public transport. The towns and villages outside Florence are well worth a visit as they are beautiful too. Nice restaurant next door and huge supermarket across road with facilities for free drinking water a few other shops too. Would recommend this to anyone. Can't wait to come back.

Not best choice but enough

The hotel is located about 30 minutes waking from the town. Which is good, you can walk if it's sunny or take a bus right around the corner. The staff was very helpful helping me to settle up. I got a map and many recommendations about the city and transportation.

The hotel is in a good conduction. It's small but cute. Rooms are cozy. There is something I want to highlight about cleaning. The general aspect looks clean and fine, but by the time I went to bed I became disappointed, the bed had fleas and of course I got some many bites. So I couldn't sleep very well, it was really uncomfortable and disgusting. I have pictures to prove this.

Breakfast really good, simple and complete. You'll find everything you need to start your day. Croissants, chocolate cake, tarts, bread, toast, juices, fruit, yogurt, cheese, cold cuts, coffe, milf and tea.

Other bad experience but not to say terrible, I had to left the hotel at 3am, before I left the receptionist tried to explain me in two poor English words the amount to many I had to pay before to quit. I recognized part of the total but not at all, I asked him but he couldn't explained me. He just pointed out the written total on the paper and I had to paid for it without being sure what it was about.

In a nutshell, hotel good, generally clean, good breakfast and kind staff. Give it no more than 3 stars. It is just fine.

A very pleasant experience to stay in this small hotel. The staff were helpful in supplying us with a detailed map on how and where to go. There is a room which, in the afternoon you could help yourself to complimentary refreshments, tea, coffee and cake etc., and the minibar was also complimentary.
