Hotel is a bit grubby. The room has loads of marks on the walls that could easily be cleaned off. There was a banana peel on the window sill that had clearly been there for ages.

The most insane thing was that there was only one plug in the whole room and just an extension lead for 3 people which meant we had about 5 things plugged into one place which is definitely a fire hazard.

Also the mattresses were v thin and came off the bed and you had to keep putting them back.

Finally the hairdryer would work for 30 seconds then overheat and stop working

We fled to this Ibis late in the evening after our 4-star hotel lied about AC. I will always love the Ibis for saving us! AC in the rooms was blissful during a heatwave. Don't be put off by location near central bus station. This hotel is exactly as advertised and that was very welcome.

There was an odor across the floor that probably eminated from the bathrooms inside the rooms. Somehow sewer like fumes continued to seep from the bathroom. We kept the window open during our stay, closed the bathroom door and ran the fan. During the second day it got a little better, but you could still detect the odor, subdued but not defeated. The breakfast area was nice, and breakfast was pretty good. The room and bathroom were bare and if you spent too much time inside it would get depressing. Location was good and mattresses were very soft and great for sleeping.

The hotel is very conveniently located for the central bus station (almost on it's premises) but a bit far out from Berlin. Breakfast was really good, the breakfast room is on the top floor with lovely panoramic views of the city.

Great hotel for a resonable price

Great hotel at a resonable price. Used for a weekend trip (two adults and two kids in one room). It is not in the city center, but it has great links to get there (about 30-40 minutes by bus or train/metro).
Only issue was a misinformation about breakfast time given at reception, which we almost lost on the first day.
We would stay again if returning to Berlin.

Excellent location with great views of Berlin. Easy to find, with easy free parking and S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations a short walk. Breakfast was great in a restaurant with the best view of the city centre. Comfortable bed in a clean room… …and you know what you’re getting with an Ibis hotel, and the staff here were particularly friendly and helpful. I would stay nowhere else next time I’m in Berlin.

Perfectly adequate hotel for a night prior to a long-distance bus trip from the neighbouring ZOB. Interior of the hotel seems fairly fresh, the facade of the hotel and its immediate surrounding is very run-down/dated/dirty.

We got there and aircon was not working well but they fixed it immediately. Hotel room was spacious enough for 4 of us and was clean. I would recommend this hotel definitely

Good practical hotel

Hotel provides a late night bar serving snacks and drinks 24/7, which was useful after going to concerts and coming back late. On our last night the room above seemed to be partying late into the night and early morning, which was unfortunate as we had to get up at 6am to catch our plane, and so sleeping through this noise was nigh impossible, and proved rather fitful.
All the receptionists were friendly except the one when we first arrived.

Lovely hotel. Our room was spacious with a double bed and single. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room which is greatly missed. Andys diner is right next door. Great food and service. We ate there a few times.
Breakfast is buffet style and €11.
Everything seemed to be going well until after a long day out and about we returned to find that our card had been deactivated. Reception said we should have checked out! After showing paperwork the said sorry and said it was their mistake. I had to get new towels as this resulted in no housekeeping. Fair enough. The next day when checking out, they had tried to charge us for an extra night. We had to explain it all again. Stressful!!! Overall great location as beside bus station and underground.

A Decent Basic Place for a Night's Rest

This is a good basic hotel if you are just looking to sleep somewhere for the night near a subway/metro stop. The relatively inexpensive buffet breakfast was decent and the dining room staff friendly. I is locating next to an inexpensive bus central terminal with the expected crowds of travelers and there is some constant street noise gets into your room. Still, for a night's rest it is a decent basic place to stay.

The worst shower I have had. Small and no water pressure. We stayed here to attend a wedding in Berlin. The rooms are very minimally stocked. Only 2 small towels. No kettle, no iron board, no tissues, no shampoo.

Great location - close to Tegal airport and ZOB is right downstairs.

S Bahn and U Bahn is also a few minutes away which takes you to the city zentrum.

Also is also 10 minutes away where you could do some grocery shopping .

The room itself in general is good . Ours was really spacious for 3 people. However the bathroom is not quite clean especially the toilet - it's disgusting.

Overall it's a good stay for a few nights.

IBIS value for money with very high standards

The IBIS is the perfect location when travelling to Berlin by bus Flixbus oder Meinbus, direct and the ZOB. The rooms are large and very clean, the beds are also very comfortable. Only stayed for one night but I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Friendly competent staff and €11 for a full breakfast was excellent value for money.

The hotel was in a good location, short walk to both lines of trains to city and right next to the bus stop to other major cities. It was clean and the room was comfortable size. However, complains which happened continuously were the internet was totally unreliable and the magnetic strip on the card key to bedroom kept on stop working. While at the desk to have the card key renewed, often there were other guests in the same boat!!

On arrival we thought the hotel presented well the desk staff were happy and very helpful and our room was very nice, the one thing the room was lacking was Tea & Coffee making facilities, we had just arrived after a 19 hour trip all we wanted was to have a warm shower and a cup of Coffee, We were in Berlin for 7 nights but only stayed 2 nights at ibis and moved to another hotel for the remaining 5 nights that supplied Tea &Coffee facilities in the room.

Great location, no major flaws

We stayed on our way from Tegel airport to a long distance bus: hotel was chosen based on the location (right at ZOB), but will also serve well for trade fair visitors. Check in took us 2 minutes, check out just 1. Room very basic, but clean, the same with bathroom. If staying for business I would complain typically poor light, especially around the desk, for short tourist stay I can't find any flaw.

Rooms are good size, beds are excellent when compared to most other hotels, shower was a little small, but it was good enough. The only issue I have with the hotel, is they claim to be a Business oriented hotel, but they charge extra for WiFi.

Great location if you arrive late at Berlin ZOB

The only good thing about the hotel was the location for me - it was the reason why I had booked this hotel in the first place. I arrived at 10pm by bus at ZOB. It was literally around the corner from the station. When I arrived, had quite a bit of trouble with the room keycard. Was disappointed at the way the hotel staff responded with the issue. If I ever went back to Berlin, the likelihood of returning to this hotel seems quite low.

If you are just looking for a place to sleep this is a good hotel. Hotel is simple, air conditioned, rooms have enough space to move around, bathrooms are small. Inexpensive but good breakfast. Windows are well insulated to keep street noise out. Reception very friendly and always approachable. 2 PCs in lobby with with free Internet access, free WiFi in the lobby. Public parking just across the street. Location is very well connected to public transportation.The area is just next to Berlin's central bus station.

The hotel was convenient to bus and train stations. It was warm and comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helful. The room itself was cleaned daily with fresh towels on request. My only problem was the bed linen which was not changed in the 7 nights we stayed here. I fully support looking after the environment but the sheets and quilt cover were a bit grubby to begin with. Half way through our stay they really needed changed. If I had requested this I am sure staff would have complied. But I did not feel that I should have to ask to have grubby sheets changed. Having said that, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Ein äußerst netter Empfang, wunderbar, den wünscht man sich gerne! Alles war in Ordnung, Zimmer sind sauber und die Fenster unheimlich dicht… keinerlei Lärm!
