Room was spacious. Great location near to everything. But noise is the problem. Not from outside but within. Room not soundproof. I could hear footsteps thumps above me, I could hear its heavy chair dragging from the room above. It affected my sleep every night. It would have been better if the room was carpeted and have lighter chair in the room. That chair is too heavy to lift and will always create that dragging noise.

Das Hotel Kantstr. liegt verkehrs- und einkaufstechnisch sehr gut, deswegen habe ich dort gebucht. Ich finde, für den EZ-Preis von 100 Euro könnte auf jeden Fall eine Flasche Wasser gratis im Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt werden, stattdessen hätte ein Wasser 2,80 Euro gekostet. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre auch super.
Im Bad roch es leider stark nach Schimmel.
Das Zimmer lag zur vielbefahrenen Kantstraße raus und war abends/nachts entsprechend laut.
All dies wäre akzeptabel, aber nicht zu diesem Preis.

They charge for luggage storage, €1.5 per piece, and even the air conditioning in the room costs extra. The lady at the reception had a very bad attitude; she refused to print out the receipt from the day before and just said it was sent by email. They even mishandled guests’ suitcases when storing them. Apart from the good location, there’s nothing much to recommend, and it’s overpriced

This hotel was a major disappointment. The rooms have no air conditioning and are unbearably hot in the summer, making it nearly impossible to get a decent night’s sleep—especially with the uncomfortable beds. On top of that, the hotel carried out a fire drill during our stay with a nonstop, deafening alarm that went on for a full hour. I was forced to abandon an important work conference call because of it. When I asked the front desk why guests weren’t given any advance notice, their response was simply, “We’re not allowed to.” This is completely unacceptable. Overall, the experience was frustrating, uncomfortable, and highly unprofessional. I strongly urge others to avoid this hotel and choose a better option.

I really liked the tea and coffee making facilities in the room - excellent. One small point: there was no daily cleaning or bed making and as a result the tea and coffee was not filled so this resulted in having to ask at reception.

Disturbing staff and indifferent receptionist
The room was very warm, and the window faced the courtyard where frantic activity took place in the morning, making it extremely noisy. Approximately at 8:00 AM, housekeeping staff entered the room, and after I reacted, he left abruptly without any apology or further comment. When I brought this to the attention of the reception, they were indifferent and said they would address it with the staff, but nothing more. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory.

The hotel description says parking with privilege in/out, however they do not even have enough parking. When I got there and asked where to park they said they were full and then I realized they only have 6 parking at the hotel. They sent me to a public parking to park my car!!

The hotel is clean, well-located, and affordable. However, there are many problems I encountered. First, even though I checked in online, I had to wait over an hour (from 2-3 p.m) to get a room, and, furthermore, the surly and unhelpful young lady at the Reception, stated (in German, which I speak fluently), \"You'll have to pay to leave your bags here, even though you're a guest, because I have to get a key for the storage, etc.)\" Outrageous! I've been in thousands of hotels, and hundreds in Germany, and this was the first time a hotel tried to charge me, a guest, for short-term luggage storage! Fortunately, when I returned about an hour later, a man was at the Reception who was somewhat helpful. The room itself also had significant problems. The safe didn't work, and was reported to the cleaning staff, but no one came to fix it. The room was also not sufficiently soundproofed and very nearly the next morning I heard loud noised from an adjacent room. And there were no bath towels--I had to request them from the cleaner. Etc. All in all, this is NOT a four-star hotel, more like (generous...) a 2.5-3 star hotel at best....

Personalet virker lidt uengageret og rengøringen var lidt overfladisk. Hotellet ligger supergodt, men der er MEGET lydt, så sørg for at få værelser så langt væk fra gaden og morgenmadsrestaurant/indgang som muligt. De starter med at skramle med affaldcontainere og stole meget tidligt! Værelserne til den lille side og der er ingen a/c, det er et problem ift at have vinduet åbent ud til gaden (meget støj) . Jeg havde nok forventet lidt mere af et 4 stjernet hotel ift service og komfort.

Everything was good. I was charged for the city tax which was understandable and expected when checking in but when I was checking out, I was asked to pay the tax again. Which I told the person that I've paid but he said it is not in the system and requested that I produce a receipt. I did not have it but I could should my card transactions and he was satisfied. I was just puzzled by the encounter. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in einem sehr sauberen und gepflegtem Hotel. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich. Auch wurde sehr auf die Corona Maßnahmen geachtet. Wir waren jetzt das zweite mal da und werden es auch nächstes Jahr im April wieder buchen.

Nice clean hotel in a good location in Berlin. Excellent parking facilities and very secure. I was very impressed by the steps taken at the hotel to stop the spread of Covid so can recommend staying here for sure.

The hotel is located on a good stretch on Kantstrasse next to the U-Bahn. This area is very cosmopolitain where you will be spoiled for eateries and shopping. There are international restaurants within walking distance and you will not be fed up. The room itself are relatively alright on size, clean and has a good size fridge. It can get a bit loud due to its central location but that's a small price to pay for convenience.

A great place to stay if you are visiting Berlin to go to an event at the Berlin Messe. However, one note of caution. There is no air con at this hotel. Also the rooms at the front of the property are very noisy. If you can get a room at the back its an outstanding place to say. Staff friendly, good location. I’ll be staying again for sure.

What you need to know is that their pillows are extremely uncomfortable. They are so soft that your head literally touches the mattress through them. Also I couldn't make the aircon really cool the room. Amenities include hair conditioner, but not shampoo. Shower gel is in a dispenser in a shower cabin, not in personal bottles.

This is a perfectly good hotel located in Charlottenburg, a very hip part of Berlin (but then again, most parts of Central Berlin are considered quite hip these days. The hotel is nothing exciting - but it's clean, nice and with a good location. It's exactly what you would expect from Best Western Hotel, and we would definitely stay here again. Bonus points for the Nespresso machine in the room!

The hotel was very close to my daughter's apartment and several restaurants. Parking was available in the parkhaus less than 5 minutes away for a reasonable price. Room was clean and had amenities provided. It did not have air conditioning which meant having to leave windows open at night. This caused a problem with street noise! Staff was very nice!

Good location but very uncomfortable rooms
Unfortunately this room was one of the most uncomfortable I've stayed in. Here is a list of things that bothered me.
-the wifi was abysmal and I couldn't get any work done which is a big problem when traveling for business. I tried it at 3pm, 11pm and 6am. Each time the connection was so slow I could barely open a website or download email.
-The only bedside table was completely taken up by the phone so there was nowhere to set your small items that you may want access to throughout the night.
-no dresser drawers
-no AC and it was very warm outside
-if you open the window you have to deal with an extremely noisy street
-there was no blanket, instead there was something that looked more like a mattress pad but was supposed to be a comforter. The problem is the bed is king size and the comforter was maybe for a single bed.

-the wifi was abysmal and I couldn't get any work done which is a big problem when traveling for business. I tried it at 3pm, 11pm and 6am. Each time the connection was so slow I could barely open a website or download email.
-The only bedside table was completely taken up by the phone so there was nowhere to set your small items that you may want access to throughout the night.

-if you open the window you have to deal with an extremely noisy street
-there was no blanket, instead there was something that looked more like a mattress pad but was supposed to be a comforter. The problem is the bed is king size and the comforter was maybe for a single bed.

The staff was really friendly and approachable try to do the best to make your stay smooth and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was great. Great location, walking distance to the station. Clean room. The only downside was no air-conditioner, but staff provided us with fans. The weather was ok though on the days we stayed so little need for fan.

Expected more. Very poor staff service. Terrible parking garage arrangement. Door lock cards and garage fobs not working, then given wrong garage details. Was not told about hotel wifi system when checking in, and had to go back to reception to pick up access codes. The worst hotel wifi coverage I've had in a very long time - constant interuption in service and terrible download speed! And for breakfast - no orange juice available for 2 days in a row, no toast facility, and was not asked on both days of stay if I wanted a coffee/tea when entering the breakfast area.
