There was a pair of socks in our room. We had to cover the blanket, pillow, and the mattress when we entered. And more than that, we had to take out the sheets next day and take it to the counter! They mentioned there are available parkings but you can just search around for hours to find some parking! There is no specific parking owned by the property. It was really noisy and at 4 a.m. some one was shouting and knocking on the bathroom door! Stuff also really unhelpful!

The room is clean, but very small. The shower room, on the other hand, is spacious and also clean. The mattresses are good. THE BAD: very poor soundproofing and NO ELEVATOR! Our room was on the fourth floor- was very hard go downstairs with luggage!😣

The hotel was really good and I think it's worth the price. The personal was really kind, and let us do the check in early.
They let us keep our luggage in their storage room, even after hour check out time, which helped us a lot.
For breakfast there was a variety of foods available (bread, cheese, ham, butter, cereals, yogurt, coffee, tea, etc). Also, they have more foods available for sale at a fair price (pizza, lasagna, instant noodles, chips, etc).
In the room, everything was clean. We had the bathroom in our room and it was pretty big, clean and with enough soap and shower gel.

The only negative things I'd add is that there was no elevator, and we had to carry our 4 suitcases to a second floor. The beds are okay in size, but they made cracking noises (i was afraid to move and break the bed).

Other than that, I'd stay there again, because of the staff, and that it's close to train and bus stations.

the room was a great size, the staff were wonderful. Our garbage bin was full when we came into the room for the first time which was a bit weird, and the floors clearly hadn't been swept, but everything else was fantastic - we even had a balcony!
The staff were so friendly and incredibly helpful.

Needs to get rid of the halfway house vibe

Not a hostel, its a halfway house for transients. There is no 'art' in the rooms. I literally just watched 2 old men physically fight over turning on the light because one had 'BEEN LIVING HERE FOR 3 MONTHS' he was screaming at the other guy and turned the light on whenever he wanted. None of the lockers in the room work and most ate filled with trash. The wifi doesn't even work properly. The whole place smells like cigarette smoke and is unclean, if you're down n out and have nowhere else to go and need somewhere cheap this is your place. Fix the wifi...

It is in front of Charlottenburg train station for the DB S bahn and 5 minutes steps to the U bahn from the left side of the main door and the X109 buses from Tegal Airport just round the the corner, A few supermarket and food kiosk. They provide clean towels to every room in everyday, It will be my priority choice if I have a trip to Berlin's again.... Well place to stay

The front of the building instantly makes you want to stay here. Then once you enter you are greeted by lovely staff and a warm reception room. Then as I went to my room the old building took me aback as is very run down, but the rooms are nice and beds comfy. It was very clean, clearly cleaned everyday but still looks rundown in parts. There is no kitchen, which it doesn't advertise but I thought I could make a fried egg at least. Overall enjoyed my stay.

The hostel was in a fantastic location, right across the road from the train station making it easy to get anywhere in the city. We had the twin room which was really spacious which was lovely. The shared bathrooms lack privacy and there is no space to get dressed or store your things while showering. Overall it is a good hostel and value for money.

Excellent location. Charlottenburg is a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of high-end shopping, within walking distance, and many terrific restaurants (like all of Berlin). The hotel is half a block down the street from the train station, and you can be at Friedrichstrasse, the Hauptbahnhof, or Plotzdammer Plz in 15 minutes.

Nice hostel at good location.

Location is very well connected with S-Bahn and bus lines, you can get anywhere quickly. Surrounding is also full of restaurants and shops. It's very well connected to Tegel Airport.
I stayed in a single private room with bathroom. Room is very small and basic, but it has everything you need. It seems to be renovated recently, so bathroom was sparkling clean and new, with shower working perfectly. My room was on 3rd floor and there is no elevator. There wasn't noise from other guests of the street, but some noise in the morning came from cleaning staff.
Service: they forgot to put the bedding and towels, so I had to get it after check in. Reception desk seems to be understaffed at peak times, so you need to wait, but they are very helpful.
There is a luggage storage room, I used it twice.

I had to wait a bit long at reception desk. Very bureaucratic check In process. Be aware of € 50 Key Deposit. Cash only. For other payments made with Credit card they charge € 3 per purchase which makes your breakfast 50 % more expansive. Linen and towel are included. Rates are sometimes very cheap with dorm beds starting at €10 / $ 11. For kitchen usage they collect another deposit of € 10 for kitchen ware and pan/pot.

Some good points, the location is great right beside the train station and easy access to both airports. Lots of food options, shopping and a good pub right around the corner. The beds were comfy and showers had good water pressure with hot water (recommend locking the door as there is only a shower curtain). Common area was nice with cheap beer and coffee, the breakfast overpriced you can get cheaper in the train station. Bad points include 3 level bunk beds, not easy to get and down from. We were on the 3rd floor and there were no lifts so with bags was difficult. You need to rent everything from boxes to put food in the fridge to pots for cooking and then there were about 2 spoons, forks or knives so what are you supposed to eat with I don't know as there was always someone in the kitchen. You also need a deposit for the key to your room. There are no locks on the lockers so bring your own, our room wasn't full but all the lockers were taken the first night as people used them for food(so they didnt have to rent boxes i guess). Also there were only a few plugs to charge phones etc in the rooms and usually the people on the bottom bunks had these as they were beside the bed. The towels are not big enough for a child to use though they don't require a deposit. We had to bring the bed linen downstairs at checkout with all the bags which was kind of annoying!

It's in a cute neighborhood, and right across the street from the train station. BUT, it's an acoustical chamber of horror. It really is for young backpackers, who all seem to check in after 11:30PM and talk and walk and shower with gusto. The sound really bounces off the walls. Not for light sleepers.

I enjoyed my stay here. It is not a 5-star hotel, but the room was spacious and was clean. We had a shared bathroom and shower, but found them clean, and I never had to wait to use these facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful and the other guests were friendly as well. It is also located right across the street from a transit station, so it was very easy to get around to all of the places we wanted to visit. I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.

Es ist immer die Frage was du suchst. Willst Du 5 Sterne Hotel mit Komfort bist Du hier falsch. Willst Du eine günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, empfehle ich hier zu buchen. Es war schlicht eingerichtet, aber alles was man braucht und im Gegensatz zu anderen \"Backpacker-Herbergen\" tip top sauber. Habe mich super aufgenommen gefühlt. Unten hat es eine gemütliche Lounge. Es war auch sehr ruhig und Staff super freundlich (sprechen auch perfekt deutsch). Drumherum viele Lokale und aktives Nachtleben. Wer in das Zentrum möchte, hat dort gute Verbindungen mit den Öffis (vor allem S-Bahn und Bus). An die Hotelcrew: Danke für den Aufenthalt. Beim nächsten Berlinbesuch komme gerne wieder!!!

5. The hostel has no elevator and if the dorm is on the 2nd/3rd floor, and if the card key of the dorm stops working randomly, stairs need to be climbed back and forth.

On the positive side, some of the staff are helpful and assist with luggage storage.

Um bom lugar

Fui com meu irmão. Pessoal amável (ainda que a jovem da recepção tenha tido dificuldades em encontrar nossa reserva, mas tudo bem). Todos amáveis e atenciosos. Ficamos duas noites e pudemos deixar as malas antes do check in e apos o check out, sem problemas. Banheiros limpos e areas comuns limpas também. A desorganização era culpa de outros hospedes, sobre o hostal foi bom.

Betten und Kissen müssen selbst bezogen und am Ende abgezogen werden. Hab ich so bisher auch noch nicht erlebt.
Die Mehrstock-Betten sind komplett aus Metall, dementsprechend quietscht es extrem laut sobald sich oben oder unten jemand auch nur ein paar cm bewegt.
Ich wurde erst in ein Zimmer eingeteilt, das aber voll war, anschließend bekam ich ein anderes zugewiesen.
Spinde müssen mit einem eigenen Schloss abgeschlossen werden. Steckdosen sind an den Betten nicht vorhanden.
Die Badezimmer waren lider auch nicht die saubersten.
Auch wenn es direkt am Charlottenburg Bf liegt, werde ich das nächste mal ein anderes Hostel buchen.

Beloofde koelkast is er niet (meer). Tv is ook weggehaald terwijl de beugel en kabelgoot er nog wel zitten. Je gaat niet naar Berlijn om tv te kijken, maar af en toe is toch wel leuk. Kamer heeft balkon en eigen badkamer met redelijke douche.

Zimmer war sehr sauber. Bad ebenfalls.
TV gab es nicht. War aber auch nicht von nöten.
Bett war schön sauber bezogen. Allerdings etwas sehr weich. Für eine Nacht aber völlig i.O.

Zimmer im 4. Stock ohne Fahrstuhl. Also eher was für fitte und junge Menschen.

Am besten wären auch Grundkenntnisse in englisch.

Eingang war durch Baugerüst nicht gleich zu sehen.
Als man reinkam sah man als erstes Essen (Chips, Schoki...). Erinnerte eher an einen Laden als an ein Hostel.

Tive uma péssima experiência pois trabalho enquanto viajo. Em pelo 2023, espera-se no mínimo que se tenha wifi nos quartos. Na área comum havia conexão de baixíssima qualidade, precisei procurar outros lugares para trabalhar.

Schon beim hochlaufen in die dritte Etage vielen uns viele schmutzige und kaputte Ecken auf.
Im Zimmer waren die Matratzentopper teilweise voller Flecken. Sowohl auf den Matratzentoppern, wie auch auf der Bettwäsche fanden wir fremde Haare.
Die Matratzen waren durchgelegen. Eine war dreckig und roch nach Käsefüssen.
Die Hochbetten waren recht instabil und quietschten so laut, dass man trotz Ohropax ständig aufwachte.
Der Teppichfussboden war voll mit Flecken und Kaugummis.
Nie wieder!
